The scene opens in the BWM Inc. corporate office, where Molly Mouse stands behind a sleek podium, a BWM Inc. logo displayed behind her. A line of reporters sits before her, cameras flashing. Molly exhales sharply and leans into the microphone.
Molly Mouse: Ladies and gentlemen, members of the press, and fans of AEW… As previously announced, following the shocking abductions of both Sami Zayn and my daughter, Megan Mouse-Zayn, at Elite Warfare, I convened an emergency meeting of the BWM Inc. Board of Directors. In light of these troubling developments, the Board determined that immediate action was necessary to maintain stability within AEW.
Molly Mouse: After careful deliberation, we had reached a decision. The Board was prepared to name Jane Mouse as Acting Director of Operations, effective immediately. Though Jane and I have not always seen eye to eye, she has been a loyal BWM Inc. employee for over 20 years, as well as a member of our extended family. However, just as last week’s episode of Dynamite was set to go on the air, Jane Mouse was handed a package. A package that changed everything.
Molly pauses for a moment, gripping the edges of the podium, her voice lowering slightly.
Molly Mouse: Inside the package was an emergency injunction—an official court order that prevented the Board from appointing Jane Mouse to this position. According to this document, we did not have the authority to name her as Acting Director. But that wasn’t all.
Molly Mouse: Also inside the package was a video tape, along with explicit instructions that it must be played on Dynamite. We believe this tape is from my estranged husband, Benny Mouse.
The murmurs in the press room grow louder. Molly sighs, pressing on.
Molly Mouse: For those unaware, Benny Mouse has not been seen publicly since last Memorial Day, when our daughter, Megan, had him institutionalized against his will. A few months ago, he apparently escaped. Since then, there have been unsettling signs of his presence—a prior video tape featuring distorted audio believed to be his voice… his hat mysteriously appearing in the build to Sympathy for the Devil… and, most disturbingly, his white-gloved hand emerging from beneath the ring at Elite Warfare, dragging Megan Mouse-Zayn into the abyss.
Molly Mouse: I do not know what is on this tape. I do not know what Benny Mouse intends to say or who he has chosen as Acting Director of Operations. But per the explicit instructions given to us, we will play the tape tomorrow night, live on Dynamite.
Molly places her hands firmly on the podium, looking directly into the cameras.
Molly Mouse: AEW, BWM Inc., and the world will find out together. I will be there. I suggest you be there too.
With that, Molly steps back. No further questions. The scene fades to black.
