As the pyro explodes and the opening theme blares, Arn Anderson and Kevin Kelly welcome us to Genesis: Chapter 2! It’s been a long, wild ride, but we’re finally here, and tonight we’re kicking off the road to the season finale! Anderson says it’s been a crazy first year of the 7th Era, but says we’re only getting started!

Match #1 | AEW Knockouts Championship
Liv Morgan (C) vs. Sasha Banks

As the introductions are made, Anderson and Kelly discuss how this match came to be, with Sasha Banks winning a number one contender’s match on Dynamite a few weeks back with a victory over Bianca Belair.

As the bell sounds, the action immediately evolves into a chess match from the opening bell, with Morgan and Banks trading quick pin attempts, each woman countering into cradles and small packages trying to score an early upset. The crowd builds with each nearfall.

Kevin Kelly: This is how you open a championship bout! Clean, technical, and razor sharp!

Arn Anderson: Liv Morgan’s been on an absolute tear since arriving in AEW last summer. She immediately made her presence felt by Sami Zayn and Megan Mouse, and she’s held that Knockouts Championship since last October. That makes her the longest reigning champion in the company today!

Kevin Kelly: No doubt about that, Arn, but Sasha Banks has had her moments as well. Last year she had a 56 day run as champion, and she was in the only inter-promotional match at last year’s Starrcade. These are two of the best in the business today, and this one’s going to be good!

Liv targets the left arm of Sasha early, snapping it over her shoulder and landing a sharp kick to the bicep, followed by a spinning kick to the side of the head. Liv charges for her springboard knee, but Sasha ducks under and counters into the Bank Statement—crossface in deep! Liv claws to the ropes and forces the break.

Sasha transitions instantly, running the apron and smashing Liv with a Meteora—double knees to the chest. She drags Liv onto the apron and teases a suplex—Liv fights back, but Sasha shifts into a powerbomb from the apron to the floor, leaving the crowd gasping!

Arn Anderson: Sasha Banks is never afraid to take those high risk chances. And you know what they say, Kevin, high risk, high reward!

Sasha rolls Liv back inside and follows up with another Meteora, which nets her a two count. The pace quickens as they exchange holds once more, with Liv flipping out of a headlock and transitioning into a snap slam for a two count of her own.

Sasha fires back with two quick suplexes, but Liv blocks the three amigos attempt, countering the third. She fires off two quick vertical suplexes of her own, before dragging Sasha into the corner.

Liv ties Sasha up in the corner, in the tree of woe position. With Banks dangling upside down, Liv delivers a trio of chest kicks and then backs up, sliding feet first into Sasha’s face with the baseball slide drop kick!

The force of the kick frees Banks up from the ropes and Liv dives onto her for the cover.

1…

2…

Sasha kicks out, but Liv stays on her with kicks to her thighs and ribs. Liv goes for a crossface, but Sasha flips through it, countering into a roll up.

1…

2…

Liv kicks out! Sasha fires back with the backstabber! She goes to the second rope and launches, connecting her knees to Liv’s face with another Meteora! She covers, but again only gets the two count!

Kevin Kelly: Sasha Banks is the queen of knee strikes! If you see her running, duck!

Arn Anderson: Queen of Knees, you say?

Kevin Kelly: Will you stop it!

Sasha charges again, but Liv sidesteps it, connecting with a roundhouse kick that drops Banks. Liv answers with her own Meteora-style double knees off the ropes, but again only gets the two!

Sasha grabs Liv by the arm and goes again for the crossface. She locks it on, but not fully. Liv rolls through to escape, but Sasha still has a hold of her. She hoists her up for a powerbomb, driving her into the mat and turning it into a cover!

1…

2…

2.999!

Liv kicks out! Sasha heads towards the ropes, but she takes too long and Liv recovers. She rushes to the top and meets her up high, hitting the belly to belly superplex!

The crowd chants, “fight forever!” as the two hit the mat hard.

Arn Anderson: That’s guts on the part of the champion! The grit and determination of Liv Morgan!

Kevin Kelly: Both of these women are leaving it all out there in the ring.

Liv stays on the offense, hitting an exploder suplex that sends Sasha flying across the ring. Sasha doesn’t stay down long, and Liv fires away with three stiff kicks to the chest, followed by the spinning roundhouse to the head! Sasha starts to fall, but Liv catches her, bouncing into the ropes and dropping her to the mat with the ObLivion!

She covers Sasha in the center of the ring as the crowd counts along…

1…

2…

2.999!

Sasha somehow kicks out! Liv rolls to her knees, the frustration showing on her face. She sends Banks into the ropes, but Sasha counters with the crossbody!

She follows it up with the backstabber, and transitions right into the Bank Statement!

Liv screams and twists in agony, clawing her way to the ropes. She manages to plant her foot, rolling through and countering into a pinning combination!

1…

2…

Sasha kicks out!

Both women are back to their feet, and Sasha swings wildly with a lariat. On instinct, Liv ducts it, springs off the middle rope, and drills Sasha with the second ObLivion!

1…

2…

3!!!

Kevin Kelly: Liv Morgan pulls it out again! What a match!

Arn Anderson: That’s what being a champion is all about. Sasha gave her everything, but Liv’s run continues—and it just might be legendary when all is said and done.

Winner: Liv Morgan
Match Time: 18:04

As the bell sounds, Sasha rolls to the outside, clutching her ribs. Knockouts Official Kenzie attempts to help her to the back, but Banks won’t allow it. She glances to Liv in the ring, frustrated, disappointed, but respectful.

The crowd gives her a modest round of applause as she walks backward up the ramp, eyes still locked on the woman who beat her.

Inside the ring, Liv Morgan is on her knees, clutching the AEW Knockouts Championship to her chest. She gets to her feet and holds the title up high, the audience having no choice but show the champion the respect she deserves.

Then, suddenly and without warning, the lights go out. The arena is pitch black. We hear the sounds of the crowd as they murmur, and see the occasional phone light up.

A single spotlight appears, lighting up the center of the ring. Standing behind Liv Morgan, cloaked in black and expression emotionless, it’s Julia Hart!

Liv turns around as Julia spits the black mist directly into Liv Morgan’s eyes! The champion screams, dropping the belt as she clutches her face, stumbling backwards blindly.

Julia strikes, locking in Heartless in the center of the ring! The standing chokehold drags Liv down to the mat like a lifeless puppet. She kicks and struggles, blinded and gasping. Julia’s expression never changes from calm, focused, and cold.

Finally, Liv goes limp as she drops to the mat, the belt inches away from her fingers.

Kevin Kelly: [stunned] That’s Julia Hart! Julia Hart is here! She just sprayed that black mist in the face of Liv Morgan and locked in that chokehold. What the hell is going on, Arn?

Arn Anderson: Where did she come from? And what’s she doing targeting the Knockouts Champion?

Julia rises slowly, the mist still staining her lips. She stares down at the motionless Liv Morgan, then slowly lowers her eyes to the Knockouts Title at her feet. Without a word, she steps over it and exits the ring, vanishing into the shadows at ringside.

Kevin Kelly: Is this a message? Is this a challenge? All I know is Liv Morgan may have survived Sasha Banks tonight—but she just got claimed by something darker.

Arn Anderson: And with only weeks left in the season, there’s no doubt about it… this changes everything for Liv Morgan!

SEGMENT TWO

The scene opens on a crooked, skeletal mansion looming behind large, cast iron gates. Wind tears through trees, as lightning flashes. As it does, we briefly see Danhausen, standing in front of the rusted gate, still as a statue.

The Executioner approaches, his black hood dripping with rain, and his fists clinched at his sides.

Executioner: You said tonight. You said he’d be here.

Danhausen: [stern, voice low and deliberate] Yes. And I say many things. Most are true. The rest are simply… waiting.

Executioner: [through gritted teeth] No riddles. No tricks. I’ve held up my end. Now take me to Benny Mouse or I’ll set Sami Zayn free.

Danhausen: You believe this is a path with lines and signs. But there are none. There is only entry. And once entered… there is no leaving the same.

Danhausen turns toward the mansion, slowly pushing open the gate with a grating metallic screech. He walks without a word down the winding path, boots sinking slightly into the muddy earth. The Executioner follows, reluctantly. The windows of the mansion seem to watch them.

Executioner: You’re enjoying this, aren’t you?

Danhausen: I take no joy. Only consequence.

They arrive at the front door—an ancient slab of rotting wood, carved with symbols that shift if stared at too long. Danhausen places a pale hand on the door.

Danhausen: Here you are. He knows you’re here.

The door begins to open with a slow, aching groan.

Executioner: What do you mean? Aren’t you going in with me?

When Executioner turns, Danhausen is gone. No trace. No sound. Just the door swinging wider into darkness.

The Executioner stares into the black, something pulsing faintly from within. A deep cold spills out, crawling over his skin.

And then—he steps inside.

The door shuts behind him like a coffin lid.

Match #2 | AEW Tag Team Championship
The Street Sharks (C) (Slammer & RIP) vs. The Gunns (Austin & Colten)

As the introductions are made, Anderson and Kelly discuss how the Gunns burst on the scene within the last few months after being drafted to AEW last summer. Anderson says the Gunns were inserted into a Ladder War match and thanks to help from Switchblade Jay White, they were able to secure this title shot. Kelly says due to the instability of the industry, we actually haven’t seen much from the Street Sharks since they defeated Cobra Kai for the tag titles.

As the bell sounds, Slammer and Colten Gunn start things off. Slammer wastes no time asserting his power, charging across the ring and leveling Colten with a shoulder tackle that sends the younger Gunn crashing to the mat.

Stunned, Colten rolls to the corner and tags in Austin, who rushes in only to be caught midair. Slammer hoists him up and launches him over the top rope with ease, sending him crashing to the floor!

Kevin Kelly: I know the Gunns are new around here, but you can’t go rushing at a brick wall like Slammer. He’s one of the strongest men to ever step inside the squared circle, and you’re not going to go toe to toe with him without strategy.

Arn Anderson: He’s slow, like a shark in shallow water. If he smells blood, you’re done!

On the outside, RIP charges at Austin Gunn as he gets back to his feet. He slams him into the barricade and then tosses him back into the ring with an impressive suplex-like throw.

Slammer grabs ahold of Austin as he lands back in the ring, and lifts him for a vertical suplex. He holds him upside down as the crowd counts to 10 before he slams him to the mat. He steps on him with one foot as official Lance Storm counts.

1…

2…

Austin manages to kick out. Slammer tags RIP in, and Austin kips up, connecting with a sudden neckbreaker onto RIP’s fin! Austin scrambles to his corner, but Slammer yanks Colten off the apron at the last second, cutting off the tag.

Arn Anderson: A smart move by Slammer. These boys didn’t become the tag champs by accident.

Back in the ring, RIP sends Austin into the ropes and goes for the back body drop, but Austin lands on his feet. He dives and is finally able to make the hot tag, as Colten comes in on fire, taking RIP off his feet with a leaping clothesline.

He bounces off the ropes and nails Slammer with a dropkick, sending him off the apron. He fires away at RIP with some hard rights, before hitting a modified neckbreaker, that drops him across his knee.

He follows it up with the cover, as Lance Storm counts…

1…

2…

RIP bench presses him off in an impressive kick out, but Colten lands on his feet! As RIP gets back to his feet, Colten goes for the roll-up, but RIP grabs him by the ankle. He locks on an ankle lock!

Colten screams in pain, crawling towards the ropes, but RIP is just too strong and drags him back to the center of the ring.

Arn Anderson: RIP is gonna rip that ankle straight off!

Austin jumps into the ring and breaks the hold with a double axe handle to the back of RIP’s neck, which causes him to release Colten but doesn’t knock him down. Austin looks terrified as RIP turns to him, but Colten gets up and the two double team him with a smooth assisted blockbuster!

Austin launches himself through the ropes at Slammer, sending him off the apron once more as they both crash to the floor. As RIP gets up, Colten nails him with the Fameasser!

1…

2…

2.9999!

RIP kicks out!

Kevin Kelly: That was so close! The Gunns are throwing everything they’ve got at the champs!

Slammer illegally enters the ring and plants Colten with a clothesline. RIP hits a dropkick that nearly takes Colten’s head off, and Slammer and RIP grab him for a double-team back suplex!

Austin tries to help his brother, but Slammer sends him down to the mat with a spinebuster that shakes the ring! RIP lifts Colten up by his hair, holding him in place.

Slammer flies at him with a massive spear! But Colten steps out of the way at the last second, and Slammer’s massive frame nearly breaks Lance Storm in half!

Arn Anderson: Oh no! Storm is down just when the Sharks had it on lock!

The crowd buzzes, but the buzz turns to boos as Jay White enters from the crowd. He smashes RIP in the back of the head with the AEW Tag Title! Slammer tries to stop White, but White catches him with the Blade Runner!

All four men are down in the ring as White retreats, but not before smacking Lance Storm to wake him up. The Gunns are up, and they hit the 3:10 to Yuma on RIP (a flapjack into a knees combo) in perfect sync!

Austin dives onto Slammer to prevent interference as Colten hooks the leg…

1…

2…

3!!!

Kevin Kelly: The Gunns have done it, but not without some serious help from Switchblade Jay White!

Arn Anderson: The Gunns have stolen the tag titles, but if they think this is the last they’re going to hear from the Street Sharks, they’re in for a rude awakening! The Sharks have every reason to come back, teeth bared!

Winners and NEW AEW Tag Team Champions: The Gunns (Austin & Colten)
Match Time: 14:27

The Gunns celebrate on the ramp, titles raised high, while Slammer and RIP stir in the ring, robbed of their reign. The camera catches Jay White watching from the shadows in the crowd, smirking as the segment ends.

SEGMENT THREE

As we get set for the introductions for Massacre 6, Anderson and Kevin Kelly discuss the road to this match, which will determine the challenger for the AEW World Heavyweight Championship at the season finale. Anderson says the odds on favorite have to be MJF and Will Ospreay, both of whom have a score to settle with the current champion, Logan Paul. Kelly says it was Logan Paul who helped MJF hand Ospreay his only loss since arriving in AEW, and it was Ospreay who has handed Logan Paul his only singles loss. However, both men are in for a fight, because Cody Rhodes, The Forgotten Brandon Lee, Sammy Guevara, and Brock Lesnar all want nothing more than to closeout the first season of the 7th Era as the AEW World Heavyweight Champion.

Suddenly, the arena lights darken as the tron flickers with embers. There’s a slow drumbeat that echos, and the faint sound of blades being unsheathed can be heard. Then, a low, accented voice, weathered and wise, narrates in English as Japanese subtitled calligraphy appears on the screen.

Narrator: Mr. Ospreay, we have not been formally introduced. My name is Ezio Auditore, and I have heard the legend of the rogue assassin who follows the creed.

On screen, we see clips from the Assassin’s Creed franchise, the one that inspired Ospreay’s attire and nickname, infused with slow shots of Ospreay in a darkened arena, and clips from him in New Japan.

Narrator: The life you have led has been vast. Born of the soil in England, its fog absorbed in your skin. Its way of life in your soul. It was here, you found your calling.

We see rapid fire shots of fog rolling over the shores of England, the British flag, and a very young Ospreay hitting an OsCutter in a British ring.

Narrator: This calling drew you to a land where the sun rises on the earth. And in the steps of Japanese legends, you took to the skies and became a warrior, elevated above them all.

There’s a series of rapid fire cuts showing Japanese architecture, mixed with shots of Ospreay hitting an inverted 450 splash in New Japan Pro Wrestling.

Narrator: Soon, a greater challenge awaited you. On the shores of the west. One more continent to concur, yet here is where you’ve lost your course. The weapon you possess have been forsaken, plagued by the crimes of false idols.

Still rapid fire clips of Ospreay arriving in AEW, defeating Logan Paul at Extreme Warfare, and getting pinned after being hit with brass knuckles by MJF.

Narrator: Doubt clouds your mission, but on this night, you must remember what made you. Or all the paths you have traveled, all who you have defeated… now more than ever before… seek the wisdom of our creed. We work in the dark to save the light. We are assassins!

The vignette ends with shots of Will Ospreay hitting the Hidden Blade elbow, and a shot of him looking up, bathed in red light.

As the tron goes dim, the stage lights up in crimson hue. Silhouetted dances in kabuki-inspired assassin masks begin choreographing a slow, martial arts routine, parkour with fluid motion.

A massive torli gate structure lowers onto the ramp, and on either side of the entrance way, crew members hold up banners that say “The Aerial Assassin.” Suddenly, smoke billows from the ramp and the opening beats of “Elevated” by It Lives, It Breathes hits, sending the crowd into a frenzy.

As the song builds, the gate parts like sliding shoji doors, and Will Ospreay stands in the center, wearing a hybrid entrance robe modeled after the traditional Assassin’s garb mixed with his own United Empire iconography.

Ospreay walks down the rampl with focus, high-fiving no one. As he passes the masked dances, they do backflips and breakdancing moves as pyro spits out in bursts.

Arn Anderson: The Aerial Assassin, Will Ospreay, paying homage to the life and experiences that have brought him to Genesis: Chapter 2. Tonight, he’s looking to punch his ticket to a shot at the AEW World Heavyweight Championship!

Kevin Kelly: Ospreay’s body is a weapon, Arn. He’s forged it with precision all over the globe, and he’s sharpened it here in AEW. He’s walking into a war tonight, and this entrance seems fitting of his circumstances.

As Ospreay reaches the end of the ramp, the dancer on his left side continues to flip. However, the dancer on his right side seemingly misses his cue.

Kevin Kelly: This could be Ospreay’s moment, Arn. The culmination of a decade’s long path through Japan, England, and now on the biggest stage in the world here in AEW.

Suddenly, the dancer who just missed his cue spins, drilling an unsuspecting Will Ospreay clean in the side of his head! The music stops and the crowd murmurs, as the dancer lifts Ospreay up and sends him face first into the steel steps!

Arn Anderson: [shouting] What the hell? Wait a minute! That ain’t no dancer!

Ospreay is dazed, reeling against the steps as the man sprints, flips through the air, and lands the Tope Con Giro. Ospreay bounces into the steps, clutching his shoulder in agony, trying to crawl away.

Kevin Kelly: Ospreay’s been totally blindsided? Who the hell is this?

The assailant rolls back to his feet and the crowd showers him in boos. He rips off the robes he is in, and slowly pulls off his kabuki mask, revealing a lucha-style white mask with blue and red trim.

Arn Anderson: Is that…? That’s Dragon Lee! Dragon Lee has just ambushed Will Ospreay!

Ospreay tries to rise, but he’s met with a sickening thud as Lee’s knee connects with his forehead, busting him wide open as the Incinerator Knee Strike catches him right on the money. Ospreay goes totally limp.

Dragon Lee stands menacingly over the fallen Aerial Assassin, breathing heavy. But he’s not done. He yanks Ospreay up by the hair, glaring at the unforgiving steel steps.

Kevin Kelly: No… no! Don’t do this!

Lee sends Ospreay head first into the steps with the Dragon Driver! Ospreay’s body folds grotesquely on impact, his neck whipping sideways as blood pours from his forehead. Ringside doctors immediately rush the scene.

Security storms down, pulling Dragon Lee away as he raises his hands, unapologetic and cold.

Arn Anderson: Damn him! Dragon Lee waited in the weeds just to take Will Ospreay out of the biggest match of his life!

Medics stabilize Ospreay’s neck with a brace as fans chant “You Suck!” at Dragon Lee. Ospreay isn’t moving.

Kevin Kelly: Ospreay was moments away from war… now he’s being stretchered out of Genesis. And for what? Why now? Why this night? What does Dragon Lee want?

Match #3 | Massacre 5 Match | Winner to challenge for the AEW World Championship at the season finale
‘The Forgotten’ Brandon Lee vs. ‘The Spanish God’ Sammy Guevara vs. ‘The American Nightmare’ Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar w/ Paul Heyman vs. MJF

As Will Ospreay is stretchered out of the arena, MJF’s music hits and he smirks as he watches his primary rival in the match wheeled out of the arena and to a hospital.

Arn Anderson: With Will Ospreay out of his way, you best believe MJF is feeling more confident than ever that he’ll be walking out of here with a title shot come Memorial Day Weekend.

Cody Rhodes is out second, as Anderson and Kelly discuss the bitter rivalry that Rhodes and MJF had, leading to MJF defeating Cody Rhodes in the TV Title Tournament to become the first AEW Television Champion, only for Cody Rhodes to capture the gold from MJF before he moved into the World Heavyweight Championship scene.

Kevin Kelly: It was February 4, 2024 when the American Nightmare captured the Television Championship from MJF. Rhodes went on to have 100 plus day reign as champion, only for MJF to win the World Heavyweight Championship just six weeks later.

Arn Anderson: You’ve gotta believe that the American Nightmare knows he can beat MJF, and there’s got to be a part of him that resents that MJF went onto to much bigger things, whereas Rhodes has sort of floundered since losing the TV Title to Swerve Strickland last year.

As the bell sounds, they go over the rules to the match. A new person enters every two minutes, with eliminations to occur via pinfall, submission, or by tossing an opponent over the top rope. Anderson says the Massacre 6 match has been a BWM Inc. staple since the 2000s, noting we’ve seen some true classics over the years.

Cody immediately fires away with some stiff uppercuts, bouncing off the ropes and hitting the Cody Cutter! The crowd roars in approval but Rhodes doesn’t go for a cover. He waits for MJF to get back up and drills him with a clothesline, sending him over the ropes and onto the apron! MJF lands on his feet, but Cody immediately bounces off the second rope and hits him upside the head with the Disaster Kick! MJF stumbles to the apron, but latches on to the rope to keep himself from falling as the crowd chants Cody on.

MJF rolls back inside and Cody scoops him up, only for MJF to counter with a poke to the eyes. He follows it up with a gutwrench slam that nets him a two count. MJF does the slow strut to taunt Rhodes, drawing a mixed reaction from the crowd.

Arn Anderson: These people love MJF, but you’ve gotta believe they love Cody Rhodes even more.

MJF ascends the ropes, as Anderson and Kelly question his strategy, as he’s not usually one to go up high. Cody gets to his feet and runs towards the ropes, sending them both crashing to the mat with the back superplex!

The countdown appears on the screen, and as it goes from 5 to 4, 3, 2, and then 1, Sammy Guevara’s music hits as the Spanish God enters the match at number three!

Guevara sprints to the ring and flies in with a springboard missile dropkic that floors Cody! MJF ducks a roundhouse kick and goes for the Salt of the Earth, but Sammy flips through and connects with the standing Spanish Fly!

Arn Anderson: We talked a lot about how big of an opportunity this match was for Will Ospreay, but arguably, it’s an even bigger opportunity for the Spanish God Sammy Guevara.

Kevin Kelly: Sammy’s definitely an underdog tonight, but we’ve seen him go toe to toe with Rhodes before. They wrestled in the very first match of All Elite Wrestling, and have had some classic encounters since then. Both men are very much an integral part of this company.

The crowd cheers Sammy on as he hits the ropes, hitting a spinning wheel kick onto Cody followed by the running shooting star press onto MJF. He covers, as senior official Michael McMahon drops to the mat for the count.

1…

2…

MJF gets his foot on the ropes, which is spotted by Lance Storm and Kenzie, who are on the outside.

Kevin Kelly: Guevara is lighting it up in there! This kid seems to be everywhere all at once!

With both MJF and Rhodes on the mat, Sammy goes up top and launches into a 450 Splash! Cody gets his knees up at the last moment, knocking the wind out of Guevara.

Arn Anderson: That’s the thing about these matches, Kevin. You don’t get time to breathe, not even for a second!

The countdown clock hits once more, and this time the lights dim and the crowd erupts as The Forgotten Brandon Lee comes to the ring at number four!

Lee rolls into the ring and goes right after MJF, nailing a lariat that flips MJF inside out. Rhodes tries to hit Lee with the crossbody, but Lee catches him mid-air and hits a swinging sidewalk slam!

Kevin Kelly: The Forgotten Brandon Lee has something to prove here tonight!

Lee catches Guevara with a superkick just as Sammy is getting back to his feet. MJF charges at Lee, but Lee catches him with a spinebuster!

Arn Anderson: Lee’s hitting everything right on the mark, like he’s been waiting his whole life for this match!

Kevin Kelly: He’s talked at length about how the world has forgotten him. Punching his ticket to the finale is one way to make sure no one ever forgets again!

Lee pulls MJF back to his feet, but MJF rakes his eyes and hits a double arm DDT to slow things down. All four men are down, breathing heavily as the crowd chants “This is awesome!”

Kevin Kelly: These four are already running on fumes, and we’ve still got one more monster to go!

Arn Anderson: And we all know who it is and what he’s capable of.

The clock ticks down for the final time, and as it reaches 1 the iconic music of the Beast Incarnate hits, as Brock Lesnar storms to the ring, Paul Heyman trailing behind with his signature grin. Lesnar slides into the ring and immediately German suplexes Sammy Guevara into the corner.

Rhodes charges Lesnar, but Lesnar catches him! F-5! Lee tries to halt Lesnar with a superkick, but Lesnar no sells it and hits him with an overhead belly to belly! MJF starts to charge, but changes his mind, and rolls under the bottom rope with his hands up.

Kevin Kelly: Good God, Lesnar’s tearing them limb from limb!

Lesnar scoops Sammy Guevara up, drilling him to the mat with the F-5! He picks up the much lighter Guevara and single handedly tosses him over the ropes and to the outside!

Kevin Kelly: Sammy Guevara has been eliminated!

Arn Anderson: The Spanish God never stood a damn chance! You can’t prepare for that kind of power. He may be a good in Spain, but in America he’s a victim of Brock Lesnar!

Lesnar bounces in place like a predator, daring anyone to come after him. Cody takes the bait, and charges at Lesnar with two quick jabs, followed by the Bionic Elbow! The Beast is stunned, as he stumbles around the ring. Cody bounces off the second rope and catches him with a Disaster Kick!

Lesnar still stumbles, refusing to fall. MJF rolls back into the ring and charges Lesnar from behind with a double axe handle. Lesnar turns to MJF, who suddenly realizes he may have made the biggest mistake of his life. He scoops MJF up onto his shoulders for the F-5!

Suddenly, Lesnar drops MJF, as the camera widens out to reveal that the American Nightmare has struck him with a low blow!

Arn Anderson: A shot to the nuts! Ah, the great equalizer!

MJF nods to Cody and they both begin stomping away on the Beast. Somehow, Lesnar gets a second wind, and hits both men with a double clothesline!

With MJF and Rhodes on the mat, Lesnar turns his attention to Brandon Lee.

Arn Anderson: I bet Lee wouldn’t mind being forgotten right about now!

As Lesnar begins to walk slowly towards Lee, his leg suddenly snags. He turns, eyes widening in betrayal as Paul Heyman has grabbed him by the boot!

Before Lesnar can even react, Lee drills him with a superkick!

Arn Anderson: Wait a minute, what the hell did Heyman just do?!

Lesnar stumbles again, as MJF hits him with the Heat Seeker! Rhodes picks Lesnar up and drills him with the Cross Rhodes! Lee, on the top rope, motions for Rhodes and MJF, who lift Lesnar and bring him to the corner. Lee grabs him by the neck and launches off the ropes with the Spin to the End!

All three men cover Brock…

1…

2…

3!!!

Kevin Kelly: Brock Lesnar’s been eliminated! Paul Heyman has turned on his Beast!

Arn Anderson: Does Heyman have a death wish?!

All three men are back to their feet, as Lee and Rhodes suddenly target MJF. Lee hits him with the superkick and Rhodes follows it up with the Cross Rhodes!

Rhodes continues stomping away on his old foe MJF as Heyman suddenly reaches under the ring. He grabs a steel chair and slides it in, right at the feet of Brandon Lee! Lee picks up the chair, looks at it, and then drills Rhodes hard across the skull!

Lee picks up Rhodes and tosses his lifeless body to the outside!

Kevin Kelly: And then there were two! We’re down to MJF and The Forgotten Brandon Lee, who has seemingly made some sort of deal with the devil, Paul Heyman!

Lee and MJF come face to face, as MJF slaps Lee hard across the face showing now respect for the legend! Lee answers the slap with a headbutt. MJF shoves him back, but Lee responds with a jumping knee!

MJF stumbles, dazed, as Lee lifts him and then nails him with a brutal brainbuster! He covers him…

Brandon Lee kicks out! The crowd is going wild.

Arn Anderson: They’re throwing everything they’ve got at one another. One of these men will be the number one contender!

Exhausted, MJF and Lee exchange strikes in the center of the ring! MJF fires back with a desperation thumb to the eye! Lee answers with a clothesline! In a final act of desperation of his own, Lee drags MJF to the top rope.

SPIN TO THE END TO THE OUTSIDE!

Both men simultaneously crash through the announce desk, as the audience chants “Holy Shit” and Anderson and Kelly scream as their booth shatters. Heyman’s eyes go wide as he realizes what his new client has just done…

All three AEW officials rush to the wreckage, conferring with one another. Kenzie grabs MJF’s lifeless arm and starts to raise it, as Lance Storm does the same for Brandon Lee. Heyman is shouting that MJF hit first and that Lee has won, while Storm and Kenzie argue. Senior Official Michael McMahon goes to the timekeeper’s area and consults with Jane Mouse.

Jane Mouse: Ladies and gentlemen, the official has determined, that both men hit the ground at the same time! Therefore, both MJF and Brandon Lee will go to the season finale to challenge for the AEW World Heavyweight Championship!

Kevin Kelly: My God! We’ve got a draw!

Arn Anderson: In all the years of Massacre 6 matches in BWM Inc., this has to be a first!

The same medics that previously attended to Will Ospreay rush to the scene and try to pull MJF and Brandon Lee from the wreckage. Heyman refuses to let them take Lee on a stretcher, and helps him out of the ringside area. MJF is loaded onto a stretcher but also refuses, and the scene ends with a wild display of medics, officials, and two beaten warriors refusing help to the locker room!

Winners: MJF and ‘The Forgotten’ Brandon Lee

SEGMENT FOUR

Match #4 | Falls Count Anywhere | #1 Contender for the Knockouts Championship
Miss Athena Star vs. Timeless Toni Storm

As Timeless Toni Storm emerges through the curtain, she basks in the vintage glow of her black and white spotlight.

Kevin Kelly: It was last August at Aftershock that Timeless Toni Storm and Miss Athena Star met in the ring for the first time. Athena walked out of that PPV with the Knockouts Championship, but it was really just the beginning of this bitter rivalry.

Arn Anderson: It was on Dynamite in October when Storm brutally attacked Athena Star with her high heel. Since then, it’s been Storm’s mission to eradicate Star from All Elite Wrestling.

As Storm soaks up the spotlight, Miss Athena Star suddenly emerges, launching herself at Storm like a missile! The crowd erupts as Athena tackles Storm to the ground, and the two tumble down the entrance ramp as Star’s fists fly!

Kevin Kelly: For these two women, it’s not just about a shot at the Knockouts Championship. It’s a personal vendetta.

Arn Anderson: Toni Storm’s been hellbent on ending Athena’s career, but Athena Star has vengeance on her mind as well!

Athena starts to drag Storm down the ramp by her hair, but Storm counters with a headbutt. She lifts her and spikes her with a sitout spinebuster off the stage, and the two crash through a production table!

Both women are down as officials rush over to check on them, as commentary says although they never heard the bell, this one is obviously underway and it could be over before it even gets going. Finally, Storm starts to stir, and she lifts Athena up again by her hair, dragging her towards the ring.

As they get to the barricade, Star counters with a step up enziguri. Storm stumbles and Star charges at her with her patented handspring elbow, smashing Storm into the barricade!

As Storm staggers, Star follows it up with a snap German suplex onto the floor. Storm clutches the back of her head as blood begins to trickle from her hairline.

The violence continues to escalate as Storm catches Athena, who tried to leap onto her from the barricade with a DDT onto the concrete floor! She sits Star up against the steel steeps and charges at her with the running hip attack, but Athena moves at the last second and Storm smashes into the steps at full speed, her body crumpling on impact!

Without hesitation, Star lifts Storm into a Storm Zero, and smashes her onto the steps with her own move as the capacity crowd eagerly cheers the legend of the Knockouts Division on! Storm writhes in agony, a second cut opening from her forehead as blood smears across the silver steps.

Knockouts Official Kenzie slides into position as Athena covers her…

Storm kicks out!

In a rage, Star tosses Storm into the ring, as the two are now inside for the first time since this war began. Star grabs a steel chair and wedges Storm into a corner, the chair tied up between the ropes, level with Storm’s head.

Star charges at her in a sprint, kart wheels, and hits another handspring back elbow, the chair ricocheting and landing with a sickening thud against Storm’s skull!

Storm collapses to the mat, barely conscious as Athena Star continues, looking relentless. She scoops Storm up and drags her to the second rope, launching her across the ring with a German suplex!

Kevin Kelly: Have you ever seen Athena Star so vicious? This isn’t a wrestling match, it’s a war!

Arn Anderson: Toni Storm lost to Athena at Aftershock, and that’s eaten her alive ever since. Months of targeting Athena, attacking her, cutting promos… it clearly got under Star’s skin, and she’s been relentless tonight from the jump!

Star rolls to the outside and reaches under the ring. She emerges with two buckets, both filled with broken glass! She holds them up to a raucous reaction from the audience, cheering on her demented revenge. Star sets one bucket down in the corner, and carries another with her towards Storm.

Storm finally manages some offense, catching Star with a punch to the tit, followed but a series of headbutts that sends Star stumbling back to the corner. With both woman near the buckets, they without hesitation plunge their hands into them, using their wrist tape to get the glass to stick to their fists!

Kevin Kelly: Wait a minute, what are they doing, Arn?

Arn Anderson: This looks like some sort of death pact!

Their fists covered in glass, they charge at one another. Athena swings first, and Storm ducks, cracking Star upside her head with a glass-encrusted right hook! Star’s forehead erupts as blood pours and glass rains across the canvas. Storm grabs both buckets and pours them onto the mat – the ring a sparkling, yet dangerous place as glass scatters everywhere.

As Athena crawls to get away, she reaches the side of the ring and reaches under. Storm jabs broken shards of glass into her scalp as Anderson says this is the most sickening thing he’s ever seen. Desperate, Star’s hands return from under the ring, and she’s got a glass champagne bottle.

She swings it and shatters it between Storm’s legs as the crowd erupts into a collective gasp, followed by the “holy shit!” chants!

Arn Anderson: A low blow with a glass bottle?! That’s not strategy, that’s pure hatred!

Kevin Kelly: These women are taking YEARS off of one another’s careers here tonight!

With Storm still writhing in pain, Star climbs the ropes and delivers a flying head scissors takedown onto the piles of glass! Shards are stuck in both women’s backs, as Star points to the opposite corner.

She slowly climbs to the top and flies off with the 4:20 Splash! It connects perfectly as she lands into a cover!

The fans erupt with “AEW! AEW! AEW!” chants as somehow, this match continues. Storm gasps for breath, her face a crimson mask as Athena pounds the mat in frustration.

Storm gets a burst of energy and catches Star with a surprise Storm Zero piledriver, the glass flying again on impact!

Somehow Star kicks out!!! Storm rolls outside of the ring and grabs the high heel. Star rolls out as well and makes a retreat up the ramp.

Star tries to escape, but Storm smashes the show into her skull! The heel of it sticks into Star’s forehead, and she writhes on the stage with the sickening visual. Not done, Storm stomps onto the heel, pressing the spike of the high heel in even further as the crowd chants, “You sick fuck!”

With both women covered in blood, Storm laughs through the chaos, her teeth bright amidst the backdrop of crimson that pours from her face. She grabs the shoe and pulls it from Star’s head, before launching into one brutal swing after the other!

Kevin Kelly: Every swing of that heel is like a bullet to the skull of Athena Star!

Arn Anderson: Storm doesn’t care about pride, she just wants Athena gone for good!

Barely able to stand, Athena counters with a sudden northern lights suplex onto the ramp. She covers in desperation, but Storm kicks out at one!

Blood pours down Star’s face, in total disbelief, as she backs away from the enraged Toni Storm. Star grabs a table and sets it up on the ramp, but Storm is stalking her, and lifts her up, delivering a final Storm Zero through the table!

As both women crumple to the stage, Storm collapses onto Star and covers her.

Winner: Timeless Toni Storm

Arn Anderson: She didn’t just want the win. She wanted Athena’s legacy—and tonight, she may have shattered it!

SEGMENT FIVE

A quick teaser airs, set to “Burn My Tongue” by Jean Dawson promoting AEW’s final show of the season, Exodus, live on PPV Memorial Day Weekend!

Match #5 | AEW World Heavyweight Championship
Logan Paul (C) vs. Hangman Adam Page

Hangman Adam Page is out first, as Arn Anderson notes that Page won the choice to either enter #60 in the Elite Warfare match, or to be the first challenger for the title after. Page chose to go one on one, and Logan Paul shocked the world winning the AEW World Heavyweight Championship after betraying his best friend MJF at Elite Warfare. Since then, Kelly notes, Paul and Page have exchanged heated words, with Logan Paul promising to beat Hangman with his own move. Anderson notes that Paul also slipped a so-called poison pill into the contract, in which Page cannot request a rematch if he loses and cannot challenge for the belt again for the remainder of the season.

Kevin Kelly: One of these two men will leave Genesis as the World Heavyweight Champion. And as we just learned, the season finale is set for Memorial Day Weekend. One of these men will defend the gold against MJF and the Forgotten Brandon Lee at Exodus!

Arn Anderson: Look at the determination on Hangman’s face as he steps through the ropes for his first PPV main event. His first world title shot. He’s not here for almost, Kevin. He’s here to take the gold, and to solidify himself as the biggest superstar in All Elite Wrestling.

Kevin Kelly: It’s been a rough road for Hangman. He and his former friend Kenny Omega dominated the tag team scene, they were champions. But when they lost, something snapped inside of Page. He didn’t want to do the team anymore, he wanted to go on his own, even if that meant stepping on his former friends Omega and Bryan Danielson. But all of the choices Hangman made, for better or for worse, have led him to the main event tonight.

Logan Paul is out next, entering to his new theme song “Be Humble.” Kelly scoffs, saying that Paul is anything but humble. Anderson says that is true, but Paul’s backed up his big mouth and attitude ever since he arrived on Jan. 1, 2024. For over 16 months, Logan Paul has been the superstar that he’s claimed himself to be.

The bell sounds and they stall, Logan smirking while Hangman stares a hole through him. They circle and Logan shoots for a waist lock, executing a clean takedown. Hangman responds with a quick counter into a front facelock, dragging Logan to the mat. he drags his forearm across Logan’s jaw. Logan scrambles out of the hold and backs into the ropes with a grin.

Arn Anderson: I think Logan Paul’s realizing that Hangman means business.

Kevin Kelly: Paul’s got Olympic caliber conditioning, but Hangman’s got determination. That cowboy toughness doesn’t crack.

They tie up again, and this time Hangman pushes him into the corner. Senior Official Michael McMahon separates them, and as he does Logan Paul cockily slaps Page across his face.

Hangman explodes with a big right hand, following with several more stiff punches to Logan’s face. He sends Logan into the ropes and Hangman leapfrogs over him. Logan bounces off the ropes again, and Hangman leapfrogs him once more. Paul turns as Hangman catches him with a lariat that sends him flipping backwards, drawing a huge reaction from the crowd.

Hangman scoops Logan up and sends him flying across the ring with the fallaway slam! Logan hits the mat hard, but rolls to the outside to catch a breather.

Page doesn’t let him recover, however, as he rolls outside and whips Paul into the barricade. He goes to do it once more, but Logan reverses it the second time and trips Page with a drop toe hold into the steps. Logan slides back into the ring, hits the ropes, and leaps over them with the running tope con hilo, flattening Page on the outside!

Kevin Kelly: Logan Paul just took flight!

Arn Anderson: I’ll give him credit, he’s athletic, but that doesn’t make him smart.

Logan pulls Page off the ground and whips him into the timekeeper’s table. He clears it off and drapes Hangman on top of it. Paul goes back into the ring and climbs the top rope, a long way aways from Page on the table. He reaches into his tights as the crowd boos, expecting the brass knuckles. Instead, Paul pulls out his phone, and begins talking to it like he’s taking a video!

Kevin Kelly: Is he… is he livestreaming this?

Arn Anderson: See what I mean? This is why somebody needs to whoop on this boy! Who showboats like this when the World Heavyweight Championship is on the line?

Logan shouts into the camera, “I told y’all I’mma beat this bitch with own move! Now here, watch this dive!”

With the phone in hand, still angling towards him, he drills Page with a frog splash that sends them both through the table!

Kevin Kelly: A 5-Star Vlog Splash!

Arn Anderson: Okay, I hate him, but that was pretty cool.

Paul gets to his feet first, and rolls Page back into the ring. He ascends the ropes again, this time launching at Page with a flying cross body. He connects with precision, hooking the leg.

Hangman kicks out!

Logan immediately kips up and nails a standing moonsault, and again covers for a two count!

Kevin Kelly: Logan’s firing away with everything he’s got.

Logan sizes Hangman up, and stomps his foot as if he’s tuning up the band. He charges at Page with the superkick, but Hangman catches it! He spins him around and lifts him up… Dead Eye! The crowd pops, perhaps louder than they have at any point thus far tonight.

Hangman drapes his arm over Paul as Kelly screams we could have a new World Champion!

2.999!

Paul kicks!

Hangman is incensed. He drags Paul up by his hair, earning a warning from Michael McMahon. He lifts Logan with a fluid motion and plants him hard with a snap powerbomb into a pinning combination!

2…

Logan kicks out again!

Kevin Kelly: You can see the frustration building on Hangman’s face. He’s three seconds away from the biggest win of his life. You gotta stay focused, kid!

Hangman goes to the apron and preps for the Buckshot. Paul gets to his feet, stumbling. Page measures it, and leaps with the Buckshot! Paul counters with an uppercut that nearly knocks Hangman’s head off! Paul bounces off the ropes and connects with a superman forearm smash!

Both men are down!

Kevin Kelly: Logan Paul got lucky with that counter!

Arn Anderson: You’re not going to beat Hangman with luck. You’ve got to beat him by being the better man!

Both men crawl to opposite corners, clinging to life. Logan starts slapping the mat, firing himself up. He goes to the apron.

Arn Anderson: No way. He’s gonna try it! The damn fool is gonna try it!

Logan springboards, and the Buckshot Lariat connects! Hangman flips over and collapses from the impact! Logan crawls and drapes his arm over Hangman’s chest…

1…

2…

3!!!

Kevin Kelly: Unbelievable! Logan Paul just kept his word! He just beat Hangman Adam Page with the Buckshot Lariat!

Arn Anderson: That’s a hell of a statement, Kevin! He didn’t just beat the man, he used Hangman’s own weapon! I don’t like it, but I can’t deny it!

Winner: Logan Paul
Match Time: 22:50

Logan Paul gets his title handed to him, exhausted, lip split, but grinning from ear to ear. He stands over Page, and again pulls out his phone for a video. We hear him off mic yelling into the video, ““I told you. I’m not just an influencer. I’m the best wrestler in the world!”

Kevin Kelly: Ladies and gentlemen, thank you so very much for joining us! All Elite Wrestling returns for the final stretch of the season as we kick the road to Exodus and Memorial Day Weekend on Monday, May 5!

The Executioner steps through the creaking doorway into a vast, rotting throne room. High ceilings vanish into shadows. Once-grand stained-glass windows are shattered, moonlight bleeding through in fractured shapes. Cobwebs sway above a long, dust-covered carpet leading to the throne at the far end—towering, cracked, and carved from blackened wood.

On it sits a figure—slumped, motionless, draped in a long cloak. A bent crown resembling Benny Mouse’s iconic ears and hat hangs over his bowed head. Behind him, the air feels… wrong—like the walls themselves are leaning in to listen.

A low, distorted chuckle—familiar but warped—rattles through the room.

Executioner: [stepping forward] I’ve waited a long time for this.

His footsteps echo like drum beats as he approaches the figure on the throne.

Executioner: Last summer, we lost the greatest wrestling promoter the world’s ever seen. Mickey Mouse.

The figure on the throne remains silent, head bowed. A faint exhale—another laugh?

Executioner: Sure, it was Vinny who pushed him off that ledge. But it was you who drove him there. Twenty years of mind games, betrayal, pressure, guilt. You broke him long before he hit the pavement.

Still no movement. The air grows colder.

Executioner: Everything you are, everything you built—it’s because of him. He made this industry matter. He made you matter. And where were you? Hiding! Hiding behind your diseased mind! You didn’t even show up to your own brother’s funeral!

The Executioner stops just short of the throne, his fists trembling.

Executioner: [shouting] LOOK AT ME, BENNY!

The figure finally stirs. Slow, deliberate. He lifts his head…

The hat comes off. The ears fall.

It’s Danhausen. His expression is ice cold—eyes dark and sunken, face grim and unblinking.

Danhausen: Choices were made. On both sides. Only a fool points to one hand in a war while the other’s still dripping blood.

Executioner: [snarling] You think you can twist this? I knew this was a setup. That’s why I set Sami Zayn free. He’s not yours anymore.

Danhausen tilts his head, a sliver of amusement behind the chill.

Danhausen: We all make mistakes. But you, Executioner—you’ve just made your last.

The room widens, as if reality itself pulls back. Shadows stretch and sharpen. Like apparitions, Alistair Black and Brodie King emerge from behind broken pillars. Silent. Looming.

The screen suddenly cuts to black, as Executioner screams and the show ends.
