SEGMENT ONE

The show opens in the backstage area, where Renee Young stands poised with a microphone. Beside her is Miss Athena Star, who looks intense yet composed.

Renee Young: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Dynamite! I’m here with the legendary Miss Athena Star. Athena, for months now, you’ve been the target of “Timeless” Toni Storm—who’s made it her mission to not only end your career but take your place as the top act in AEW’s Knockouts Division.

The crowd can be heard booing at the mention of Storm’s name.

Renee Young: And Athena, while you hold a victory over Storm, she’s been unrelenting ever since. She’s promised to extinguish the “Star.” Athena, what are your thoughts heading into Sunday’s battle?

Miss Athena Star: Renee, Toni Storm isn’t the first woman who’s tried to make a name off my back. And if I’m being honest, I doubt she’ll be the last.

She brushes a few strands of hair off her face, her tone measured but firm.

Miss Athena Star: 2024… was supposed to be my last year as an active wrestler. I had plans. Closure. A graceful goodbye. But here we are—it’s 2025—and I’m still here. Still standing. Still fighting.

Miss Athena Star: n a perfect world? I beat Toni Storm once and for all… then I challenge for the Knockouts Championship Memorial Day weekend. And then… I retire on my own terms, this June. At Starrcade.

She hands the mic back to Renee and starts to walk off—but out of nowhere, Toni Storm barrels into frame, launching herself into Athena with a brutal forearm to the back of the head!

Storm grabs Athena by the hair and hurls her through the interview backdrop, shattering it in a violent crash. Crew members scramble as Renee backs away in shock.

Storm kneels beside Athena’s crumpled body. She slowly looks up at the camera, breathing heavily, her voice cold and venomous.

Timeless Toni Storm: I’m going to end you, Athena. And when I do… I’m taking the Knockouts Championship on Memorial Day weekend. Not you!

Storm spits on the floor next to Athena and walks off, leaving chaos in her wake. Officials rush in as the camera zooms in on Athena Star lying amidst the wreckage, clutching her ribs.

Match # 1 | #1 Contender for the AEW Knockouts Championship
Sasha Banks vs. Bianca Belair

Arn Anderson: Sasha Banks is standing across the ring from the woman who ended her Knockouts Championship reign last year. And she knows what Bianca Belair is capable of.

Kevin Kelly: These two women stole the show in March of 2024 at New Horizons, and now one of them will advance to challenge Liv Morgan at Genesis: Chapter 2!

As the bell sounds, Sasha opens with a sharp kick to the ribs and a quick sunset flip. Bianca powers out, hoists Sasha up, and press slams her into the mat. Bianca follows up with a senton and a standing moonsault. Sasha bails to the apron to recover, and when Bianca reaches out, Sasha gouges the eyes and yanks her to the floor with a hurricanrana off the apron.

Kevin Kelly: Sasha Banks is dangerous because she’s not afraid to play dirty. She’ll do whatever she has to to have her hand raised at the end of the match.

Sasha slides back in to break the count, then launches off the apron with a running double knee strike to Bianca against the barricade. Sasha throws Bianca into the steps, then smashes her with double knees again while she’s slumped against the steel!

Kevin Kelly: That’s three sets of knees already. Sasha might be obsessed with turning Bianca’s chest into a dented-in target.

Arn Anderson: It’s called precision, Kevin! She’s gonna keep hammering the same spot until it breaks.

Sasha rolls Bianca back in and nails her with double knees off the second turnbuckle for a two count—she puts a hand on the rope, but the ref sees it and waves it off. Bianca goes for a delayed vertical suplex, but Sasha slips behind and drills her with a neckbreaker. Sasha’s yelling at the crowd as she hits a sunset flip powerbomb into the bottom turnbuckle, then more double knees Meteora for two.

She tries a DDT off the turnbuckle, but Bianca shoves her off and hits two stiff boots to the chest. Sasha charges with another Meteora, but Bianca catches her in midair and powerbombs her into the turnbuckle. Both women are down!

Kevin Kelly: The power advantage just saved Bianca Belair right there, and somehow, she’s staying alive in this battle that’s been all Banks thus far.

Arn Anderson: Banks doesn’t like to lose, and that loss to Belair last year has been one she’s been waiting to avenge ever since!

As both women get back to their feet, Bianca scoops Banks up and drills her with a running powerslam. She follows it up with a running uppercut, and then a rolling German suplex that nets her a near fall. Sasha fights back, countering with a crucifix bomb for a near fall of her own.

Sasha tries locking in the Bank Statement, but Bianca escapes and lifts her for a backbreaker over the knee. Bianca follows with a discus lariat—another two count!

Kevin Kelly: Both of these women are bringing their A-game tonight, but neither can seem to put the other away!

Arn Anderson: All it takes is three seconds, Kev! And both of them know how to count to three.

Sasha counters again, lands a spinning DDT, yells “That was three!” at the ref, then hits the Three Amigos suplexes. She goes up top and leaps—Bianca catches her and plants her with a spinning slam off the shoulders for another near fall!

Arn Anderson: That was like a twisting Death Valley Driver. Almost knocked Sasha out cold!

Kevin Kelly: And it STILL wasn’t enough to put her away!

Bianca climbs to the top for a 450 Splash. She takes too long and Sasha moves. Sasha hits a running knee to the face, then starts targeting Bianca’s right leg with elbows. Sasha climbs and hits a Frog Splash to the outside of Bianca’s right knee. It only gets two. Sasha slams the mat in frustration.

She hits backstabber double knees twice, then hoists Bianca up and hits a spinning slam off the shoulders for another close two. Sasha looks stunned. She goes for the slam again, but Bianca rolls her up with a backslide for two.

Bianca hoists Sasha onto her shoulders, looking for the KOD. Sasha flips off and lifts her for a guillotine stunner, a move she refers to as the Mone Maker!

Kevin Kelly: Well, that’s one we’ve not seen from Banks before!

Arn Anderson: And it looks like she got all of it, Kev!

Sasha covers and the official drops to count.

One…

Two….

Three!

Kevin Kelly: Sasha Banks is going to Genesis: Chapter 2!

Arn Anderson: That wasn’t pretty, but it was smart. She knew she couldn’t outmuscle Bianca, so she chopped her down and went for the kill.

The scene cuts to Liv Morgan, who is watching backstage on a monitor clutching her championship, before cutting back to the ring where Banks is celebrating.

Winner: Sasha Banks
Match Time: 16:03

SEGMENT TWO

Match #2 | Massacre 6 Qualification Match
‘The American Dragon’ Bryan Danielson vs. ‘The Spanish God’ Sammy Guevara

After the introductions are made, Danielson and Guevara stare one another down from across the ring.

Kevin Kelly: Bryan Danielson hasn’t forgotten what it’s like to be AEW World Champion, Arn. He’s been clawing his way back ever since losing the title at New Horizons last year.

Arn Anderson: And this ain’t some warmup match. Sammy Guevara’s got momentum and a mean streak, and he holds a victory over the American Nightmare Cody Rhodes, who’s already punched his ticket to the Massacre 6 match.

As the bell sounds, Danielson tries to close the distance early. Sammy avoids the tie-up with a jumping knee to the face, shoulder tackle, and a stiff kick to the temple. Sammy springs off the ropes and nails a springboard Cutter. He immediately covers, but only gets a short two. Sammy tries to rile up the crowd, but they don’t take the bait.

Kevin Kelly: Earlier fireworks from Guevara, but the crowd here in Stillwater isn’t sold on the Spanish God just yet.

Arn Anderson: Sammy’s cocky, and he’s good, but he’s still got to earn their respect. You don’t do it with fancy flips, you do it with hard fought fights.

Danielson shoots for a German Suplex—Sammy flips through and lands on his feet. Sammy spins for a kick, but Danielson grabs both legs and pulls him to the mat. Danielson locks in a surfboard variation and adds clubbing forearms to the back of Guevara’s head as the crowd counts along with each blow, chanting “Yes!”

Danielson stays on him with European uppercuts. He corners Sammy and lights him up with chest chops. Sammy fires back with rapid forearms, but they come off sloppy—Danielson shuts that down with a nasty elbow to the jaw.

Bryan drills Sammy with kicks to the body. One last uppercut folds Sammy into the corner. Danielson isolates the left arm and stomps it, then pulls him into a butterfly suplex into a transition armbar—Sammy barely reaches the rope with his boot.

Arn Anderson: Sammy’s learning there’s no wasted motion with Danielson. Everything hurts and it’s all calculated.

Kevin Kelly: I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Pound for pound, I’m not sure there’s a wrestler alive that’s better than Bryan Danielson.

Danielson mounts and lays in punches. Sammy bails to the floor. Danielson sprints—running dropkick through the ropes knocks Sammy into the guardrail! Danielson climbs the apron, hesitates, and Sammy catches him with a jumping knee. Danielson stays standing, stumbling around, then Sammy hits a moonsault off the second rope onto him!

The crowd pops for Sammy’s athleticism, as commentary notes that the fine folks of Oklahoma are starting to see what management sees in Guevara, and why the fought so hard to get him back after briefly losing him in the draft last year.

Back in the ring, Sammy mocks Bryan’s signature “Yes!” kicks. They look half-hearted. Bryan absorbs them and clobbers Sammy with a palm strike. Rapid-fire kicks and chops back Sammy into the ropes. Bryan runs, and connects with a running clothesline.

Sammy kicks him in the chest out of nowhere, hits the ropes, charges—Danielson back body drops him clean over the top. Sammy crashes. Bryan follows with a suicide dive, this time driving an elbow into Sammy’s jaw mid-flight.

Bryan heads up top—missile dropkick connects. He kips up and the crowd comes live for the Dragon.

Kevin Kelly: Danielson’s getting into that dangerous rhythm!

Danielson charges—Sammy suddenly counters with a Spanish Fly!

Arn Anderson: What a counter by Guevara!

Sammy hooks the leg and senior official Michael McMahon drops for the count.

One…

Two…

Thr—

Danielson stays alive!

Sammy heads up top, but he takes too long and Bryan cuts him off. Bryan climbs and catches Guevara with the top rope belly-to-back suplex! Sammy flips out in mid-air, landing on his feet. He goes for a handspring flip—Bryan evades, hooks the arms, and transitions into the LeBell Lock. The audience is losing their minds for Danielson, as chants of “Tap! Tap!” break out.

The chants turn to boos as Guevara reaches the bottom rope, forcing the break. Danielson shrugs it off, stomping away on Sammy before ascending to the top rope once more. Danielson calls for the flying headbutt, but Guevara kips up, leaps to the top rope, and nails him with a second Spanish Fly!

The audience breaks into a holy shit chant, as Anderson notes that they’re finally giving Guevara his due.

Kevin Kelly: Absolutely, but that one looked like it hurt both of them! That’s desperation, not strategy.

Sammy bites Danielson on the forehead, as Arn says that Guevara is definitely showing desperation. McMahon admonishes him, so he lays off the biting and lifts Danielson for the GTH. Danielson slips out and hits a reverse rana, and Sammy lands hard on his head!

Danielson lies in wait and as Sammy gets to his feet, he charges full speed and catches him with a Busaiku Knee that turns Guevara inside out! Bryan grabs the wrists, stomps Sammy’s face in, then transitions straight into a Triangle Choke!

Arn Anderson: What a sequence by Danielson!

Kevin Kelly: This could be it! Danielson’s got it locked in tight!

Just as Sammy looks like he’s going to pass out, he manages to roll Danielson into a pinning combination. Danielson has the choke latched on with such intensity that he doesn’t even seem to notice as McMahon drops, counting one… two…. three!!!

Arn Anderson: Wait a minute, what just happened?

Kevin Kelly: Sammy Guevara caught him! Bryan Danielson had the match locked, but Sammy rolls him up for the upset!

Winner: Sammy Guevara
Match Time: 18:33

As the bell sounds, Danielson sits in disbelief, hand on his knees. Sammy rolls out, smirking, backing up the ramp with a busted lip. Commentary says the Massacre 6 match is now officially set, and either MJF, Will Ospreay, The Forgotten Brandon Lee, Brock Lesnar, Cody Rhodes, or Sammy Guevara will punch their ticket to the main event of our season finale Memorial Day weekend!

After a brief hype video for Sunday’s card, we cut back to the ring, where a black table and two chairs are set up, a large Genesis: Chapter 2 banner hanging from the rafters. The AEW World Title sits front and center on the table.

In the ring, Splinter stands with a microphone.

Splinter: As Acting Director of Operations for All Elite Wrestling… I have called both men here tonight for the official signing of the contract for the AEW World Heavyweight Championship match at Genesis: Chapter 2. Let it be known: once this is signed, there’s no backing out.

Ghost Town Triumph hits and the audience breaks out into a “Cowboy Shit” change as the challenger, Hangman Adam Page, makes his way to the ring to a thunderous ovation. That ovation turns to boos as the champion is out next, and Paul swaggers to the ring with a shit eating grin on his face.

Standing across from one another, the men stare one another down before taking their seats. Hangman reaches for the microphone.

Hangman Adam Page: You know what you are, Logan? You’re a flash in the pan. You’ve got money, cameras, podcasts, all the followers in the world… but you don’t have grit.

Hangman leans forward across the table, staring dead into the champion’s eyes.

Hangman Adam Page: I’ve spent my entire damn life chasing the dream of being World Heavyweight Champion. Through the alcoholism. The depression. The days where I couldn’t even look myself in the mirror. This Sunday isn’t just another main event for me—it’s the main event. Everything that’s happened in my life has led me to Genesis. And I’m not just gonna kick your ass… I’m gonna embarrass you. And then I’m taking that title home where it belongs.

Logan Paul mockingly claps as he grabs the mic.

Logan Paul: I’m happy for you, Hangman. I really am. But let’s get one thing straight—I’ve been a star since day one. From the second I stepped through that curtain at New Year’s Revolution, the entire world said the same thing: “That guy’s the future.” Before I even wrestled my first match, people said I’d be world champion. And guess what? They were right. And this Sunday, nothing’s going to change around here. I’m going to walk in and out of Genesis: Chapter 2 the same way… as AEW World Heavyweight Champion! And, not only am I going to pin you, I’m going to beat you with your own damn move!

Hangman stands up quickly, ready to fight. Paul jumps up as well, and the two men come chest to chest as Splinter desperately squeezes between them.

Splinter: Gentlemen—enough. Save it for Sunday!

Hangman glares but backs off. He grabs the pen and signs the contract without hesitation. Logan starts laughing. Hangman narrows his eyes.

Hangman Adam Page: What’s so funny?

Logan Paul: Oh… nothing. Just that you really are as dumb as you look. You just signed that contract… and didn’t even read it.

Logan taps the paper, a wide smirk stretching across his face.

Logan Paul: If I win at Genesis, you don’t get to challenge for this title again for the rest of the season.

The crowd reacts with shock. Hangman doesn’t flinch.

Hangman Adam Page: Then it’s a good thing I plan on winning.

Paul smirks again, signs the contract with a flourish, and tosses the pen on the table. The two men stand nose to nose once more, tension thick in the air. Splinter raises a hand to keep them from throwing fists.

Kevin Kelly: That’s it! The contract is signed! No more talk. No more games. This Sunday at Genesis: Chapter 2, it’s Hangman Page vs. Logan Paul for the AEW World Title—and only one man is walking out with that belt!

The show closes on a hard split-screen of Hangman and Logan locked in a cold, intense staredown, the AEW title gleaming on the table between them.
