SEGMENT ONE

As the opening video package concludes, the pyro explodes in a blistering display from every corner of the entrance ramp. The camera pans from the ramp through the capacity crowd, before landing on Arn Anderson and Kevin Kelly, the legendary voices of BWM Inc., as they welcome us back to Chaos.

Kevin Kelly: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to AEW Chaos! Friday nights just got a whole lot more unpredictable!

Arn Anderson: That’s right, Kevin! We’re winding down the road to Genesis: Chapter 2, just nine days away! It was last month that the Acting Director of Operations Master Splinter promised the return of everyone’s favorite Friday show, and now, we’re back, live from the newly constructed AEW arena!

Before Arn and Kevin can say much else, the lights dim and Voices by Disturbed hits, as the crowd explodes into a heroes welcome for Splinter!

Kevin Kelly: Wait a second, speak of the devil!

The crowd roars as Splinter makes his way to the ring, a microphone in hand. He stops in front of the ring to acknowledge a large group of college aged fans, who are bowing in the “we’re not worthy” way, forcing a smile from the legend’s lips. He gets in the ring and his smile never falters, as he takes a moment to bask in the adulation even after the music stops.

Master Splinter: Damn, it feels good to be back on Friday nights! And, I must admit, Chaos feels like a very appropriate name—not just for this program, but for the entire wrestling industry over the past year.

Master Splinter: From the recent scheduling disruptions from ULW, to the recent regime change in WWE, to the absolute madness that has reigned right here in All Elite Wrestling. Chaos has gripped every corner of this business.

Splinter paces for a beat, before continuing.

Master Splinter: But as you all know, that’s why I was brought here—not to add to the chaos, but to stabilize it. And while I may wish to be a guiding hand across the whole industry… we must first get our own house in order.

Master Splinter: This is always an exciting time for us. We’re closing in on the third season finale, set for Memorial Day weekend, and from there, we’ll march toward the World of Wrestling Draft, and then to Starrcade 2025!

Master Splinter: But, before we can look ahead, we must first deal with the present. Let’s talk about Genesis: Chapter 2. The Massacre 6 match is nearly set. So far, we’ve seen Will Ospreay, MJF, Cody Rhodes, and The Forgotten Brandon Lee punch their tickets.

On the tron, we see graphics flash, showing the four qualified men.

Master Splinter: Monday on Dynamite, former AEW World Heavyweight Champion Bryan Danielson and Sammy Guevara will go one-on-one for one of the two open spots.

The crowd pops at Danielson’s name, igniting into brief “YES!” chants.

Master Splinter: And, as for the sixth and final spots, after intense negotiations with Paul Heyman, I’m here to announce that the final spot will go to the Beast Incarnate, Brock Lesnar!

Master Splinter: Additionally, on Monday night, we’ll host a contract signing between the AEW World Heavyweight Champion Logan Paul and Adam Page, just six days out from their first meeting ever!

The crowd erupts into a “Cowboy Shit!” chant, forcing another smile from Splinter.

Master Splinter: Also, I’m making it official for Genesis: Chapter 2… Miss Athena Star and Timeless Toni Storm will settle their rivalry, and the Street Sharks will defend the AEW Tag Team Championship against the number one contenders, Austin and Colten Gunn! Finally, Liv Morgan will defend her Knockouts Championship against the winner of a number one contenders match this Monday between Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks!

Master Splinter: Now, onto Chaos itself… moving forward, you can expect to see us here at least twice a month from our new AEW Arena in Stamford. Our goal is every other week, but don’t be surprised if we run back-to-back weeks—just like this week and next. Next week will be the final show before Genesis: Chapter 2… and I promise you, you will not want to miss it!

Master Splinter: Thank you—all of you—for making All Elite Wrestling the number one company across not one… but two eras. And for making AEW the most successful organization in BWM Inc. history. Enjoy the show!

We cut to backstage, where AEW Correspondent Renee Young is standing by with a microphone in hand.

Renee Young: Ladies and gentlemen, joining me at this time is the incomparable, the statuesque reigning queen of glamour and grace — the one and only Lady Love!

Lady Love enters the frame as the camera comically pans upwards before backing up in order to get both women in the shot.

Lady Love: [gently fanning herself] Renee, darling. You always know how to make a girl feel seen. And when you’re this much woman, that’s a miracle unto itself.

Renee Young: [smiling nervously] It’s… hard not to see you. Lady Love, this past Monday on Dynamite, we witnessed the debut of your son—Young Crock. And, well… the reaction from your husband, Midget Hogan, wasn’t exactly… enthusiastic. Everyone is dying to know, how is the family holding up?

Lady Love: [sighing dramatically, placing a hand on her heart] I always knew Midgey had some… reservations about becoming a stepfather. But I didn’t expect him to react like I’d fed him to a pack of hyenas. Emotionally, of course.

Renee Young: That’s… vivid…

Lady Love: [nodding solemnly] I’ve had many loves in my time, Renee. Big Show… Saguna… Even Kevin Kelly. And of course, who could forget my first husband, Ric Venom. But none of them—none—have touched my soul like Midget Hogan. He is the love of my life. But I cannot… and will not… neglect my duties as a mother. Young Crock needs me. And I need my husband’s support now more than ever.

Renee Young: And if… Midget Hogan doesn’t come around? What happens then?

Lady Love: Renee, like a crocodile, I cannot move backwards. Only forward. I’ve got 21 years of lost time to make up for, and I’m not going to let anything come between me and my son. Not even the love of my life. But I believe in my heart of hearts that Midget Hogan will come around. I’m hoping—praying—that the two most important men in my life can spend some time together soon. I know if Midgey can get to know Young Crock like I have over this past week, he’ll love him just as much as I do!

Renee Young: Keep us posted on how things progress with the family. All of us here at AEW are emotionally invested. And mildly terrified. Back to ringside!

Dual Dominion Championship Tournament Qualifier
Ryback [AEW] vs. R-Truth [WWE]

Ryback is out first, as Arn Anderson explains he was able to get this potential spot in the tournament after tricking R-Truth, confused by the AEW/WWE crossover, that he was WWE CEO HHH.

“What’s Up” blares over the speakers next, and R-Truth jogs to the top of the ramp, mic in hand, hyped, and dancing as the crowd joins in on the fun.

R-Truth: [rapping] People over there what’s up?!
Feel me, stand up and say WHAT’S UP!

Now I came out the locker room, they said I’m in AEW,
But I been WWE since ’02—y’all must be confused!
Tryna trick me with some pyro, sayin’ “Benny runs the show,”
But I seen Trips backstage and called him “CEO!”
Said “What up, Hunter?” he just growled at me and flexed,
Now I’m booked in some tournament? What the heck’s next?!
Y’all messin’ with my head, but you can’t change my strut,
‘Cause whether WWE or AEW… I still yell WHAT’S UP?!

The crowd answers back, shouting “What’s Up!” as Truth gets into the ring.

The bell sounds, and R-Truth goes for a sneaky roll-up right away, but Ryback shrugs him off and rams him into the corner with force. Truth tries to hold on from behind, but Ryback throws a sharp back elbow, breaking the hold.

Truth rebounds and slaps on a headlock, but Ryback powers out again and uses Truth’s hair to sling him to the mat. He stands over him, flexing. Truth pops back up, tosses Ryback into the ropes, and nails a spinning kick to the chest! Ryback stumbles—Truth fires off a few rights, and the crowd’s firmly behind him.

Ryback, angry, charges into the corner and scoops Truth up, launching him across the ring and into the opposite turnbuckle. The ring shakes from the impact, and Ryback follows up with a press slam. He begins stomping around as he lowers his straps, shouting, “FEED ME MORE!”

He hits the ropes and goes for the big splash! He covers…

One!

Two!

Truth kicks out! Ryback grabs Truth in a waist lock, squeezing him tightly. Truth fires back with some elbows, causing him to break the hold. Truth throws a right, and then another! Ryback goes for a clothesline, but he ducks under it and bounces off the ropes – hitting him with a dropkick! He goes for another, but this time Ryback sidesteps it and counters with a spinebuster.

Ryback sets up for the Meathook Clothesline, screaming into the crowd—

Ryback: This one’s for the stockholders!

He charges, but Truth ducks it, countering with the schoolboy!

One…

Two…

Three!

Kevin Kelly: What?! He got him with the roll-up! Truth wins! Truth wins!

Arn Anderson: [holding back laughter] The man just pinned Ryback and still thinks he’s wrestling for Monday Night Raw.

Winner: R-Truth
Match Time: 5:43
