SEGMENT ONE

‘Myth’ – The Official Theme Song of AEW Retribution

As the instrumental begins, we see quick flashes of the superstars and stories that are coming to a head tonight at Retribution. The superstars are posed under a single spotlight, with their faces half in the shadows. We see rapid fire shots of Benny Mouse, Splinter, Sami Zayn, Roman Reigns, MJF, Cody Rhodes, Gunther, Swerve Strickland, Brock Lesnar, Sting, Bianca Belair, and Athena Star.

Drifting in and out
You see the road you’re on

We see a clip of Sami Zayn and Eric Bischoff from New Years Revolution, in which Sami Zayn informs Bischoff that he’s been fired and he’s been named the new Director of Operations.

It came rolling down your cheek
You say just what you mean
And in-between, it’s never as it seems

We see rapid fire clips of a distraught Molly Mouse, cut to Benny at his desk watching the video package Molly had prepared for him. It then cuts to a clip of Sami and Splinter, from January 15, the night that Splinter tried to deliver the news of Benny’s dementia only to be attacked by Menotaur. Cut to a quick clip from last week, with Sami on the phone shot through the security footage outside of Benny’s office.

Help me to name it
Help me to name it

Cut to a clip from April 22, when the Acolytes gripped Molly by her arms and Benny Mouse got into her face, screaming at her before slapping her. Another quick cut to the same night, with Splinter on stage announcing the Board had finished their investigation.

If you built yourself a myth
You’d know just what to give

Cut to the following week, April 29, when Armageddon destroys Benny’s henchmen before being removed by dozens of security guards. Another quick cut to Benny in his office, terrified of what happens if Armageddon comes back, with Sami assuring him he won’t.

What comes after this
Momentary bliss?
The consequence
Of what you do to me

Cut to the end of the same show, where Splinter revealed the Board had ruled issued a vote of No Confidence in Benny Mouse. Cut to Sami Zayn rolling out a catatonic Megan Mouse, and announcing the two are married and that with her shares, he’s circumventing the board and re-installing himself and Benny as Co-Chairs of BWM Inc.

Help me to name it
Help me to name it

We see a clip from when Splinter revealed that Benny Mouse had falsified Megan’s paternity records, and that Benny is Megan’s real father.

Found yourself in a new direction
Arrows falling from the sun
Canyon calling, would they come to greet you?
Let you know you’re not the only one

During this section, clips quickly roll through of the feuds between MJF and Roman Reigns, as well as the three-way feud between Gunther, Cody Rhodes, and Swerve Strickland. We see the clip of MJF and Roman Reigns standing eye to eye, where MJF slapped him and Gunther debuting to interfere in the one-on-one bout between Rhodes and Strickland. It quickly cuts back to last week, with Splinter and Sami in the ring alongside Benny and the Harlem Turtles, announcing the stipulations for Total Anarchy: All Elite.

Can’t keep hanging on
To what is dead and gone

We see a rapid morphing shot of Mickey Mouse, into Lenny Mouse, into Vinny Mouse, and ending on Benny Mouse. Benny’s maniacal laughter can be heard, and it smash cuts to the clip from the night Splinter first appeared in January, where Benny screamed, “I remember, I remember everything!”

If you built yourself a myth
You’d know just what to give
Materialize
Or let the ashes fly

Cut to the night of Sami and Megan’s “wedding reception,” in which Splinter first issued his challenge. It again quickly cuts to last week, where Armageddon reappeared and Sami took off running with Megan as Benny was left alone and helpless. We see a close-up shot of Benny Mouse after the attack, as he coughed blood into the ring and even Splinter and the Harlem Turtles looked upset and worried for him.

Voiceover: Tonight, all roads lead to Retribution. Alliances forged and broken, battles fought and won. Some have sacrificed everything to stand here. The mythos of our warriors culminates now. This is AEW Retribution. Do you dare to witness the end?

The pyro explodes and Arn Anderson and Kevin Kelly welcome us to San Antonio, Texas. We’re live from Heroes Stadium, and the capacity crowd is at standing room only as we’re 800 tickets past sold out, with more fans watching from outside the building because they were unable to get in. Arn Anderson says tonight is the finale of the 6th Era, and it feels like an ending and a beginning all the same. Kevin Kelly says all of the official championships in All Elite Wrestling are on the line tonight, beginning with our opening contest which will see Hangman Adam Page and Kenny Omega defend their World Tag Team Titles against the young, hungry rookies The Acclaimed! They run down the card for tonight, and promise a great night of action fitting of a finale for the Elite!

Match #1 | AEW World Tag Team Championships
‘Hangman’ Adam Page & Kenny Omega (C) vs. The Acclaimed (Max Caster & Anthony Bowens)

The Acclaimed’s music hits and Max Caster and Anthony Bowens, the arrogant young challengers, step through the curtain to a mixed response from the crowd in San Antonio.

Max Caster: Yo, yo, yo, listen!

Max Caster: Retribution’s here, time to take our claim,
Hangman and Omega, gonna feel the Acclaimed’s flame.
Been waiting for this night, now it’s time to feast,
You’re lookin’ at the champs, y’all just the least.

Hangman Page, yeah, you know you’re just a millennial,
Drowning in your sorrows, sippin’ on that ethanol.
You think you’re tough, but you can’t handle the truth,
You’re just an alcoholic, lost in your youth.

Kenny Omega, yeah, you’ve been overhyped,
Since day one, man, your game’s all snipe.
You got the fans fooled, but we see through the smoke,
Tonight’s the night, your legacy’s a joke.

Anthony Bowens: San Antonio! The Acclaimed have arrived!

Arn Anderson: What a way to kick off Retribution! The Acclaimed have been on a hot streak, but can they dethrone the champs tonight? Let’s find out!

The bell rings and Max Caster starts off against Hangman Page. They lock up in the center of the ring, with Page using his strength to push Caster into the corner.

Page whips Caster into the opposite corner and charges in with a big clothesline. Caster stumbles out, and Page hits a fallaway slam, sending Caster across the ring. Page tags in Omega

Kevin Kelly: Omega now the legal man, and he’s looking to capitalize on Page’s momentum.

Omega and Page hit a double-team suplex on Caster. Omega covers for a quick pin, but Caster kicks out at one. Omega pulls Caster up and hits a series of rapid strikes, finishing with a spinning heel kick that sends Caster to the mat.

Omega lifts Caster and goes for a snap dragon suplex, but Caster elbows his way out. Caster hits a step-up enzuigiri, stunning Omega, and makes the tag to Anthony Bowens.

Bowens comes in hot with a running knee strike to Omega. He follows up with a suplex and goes for the pin, but Omega kicks out at two. Bowens pulls Omega to his feet and hits a series of stiff forearms, driving Omega into The Acclaimed’s corner. Bowens tags in Caster again.

Arn Anderson: The Acclaimed showing great teamwork here, keeping Omega isolated.

They hit a double-team maneuver, with Bowens lifting Omega into a fireman’s carry, and Caster coming off the top rope with a flying elbow drop. Caster covers, but Page rushes in to break up the pin.

Page is forced back to his corner by the referee, as Caster stomps on Omega, keeping him grounded. Caster tags Bowens back in, and they attempt another double-team move. However, Omega ducks a double clothesline and hits a double dropkick, taking down both members of The Acclaimed.

Omega crawls towards his corner, but Bowens grabs his leg. Omega kicks him off and makes the hot tag to Page, who storms in and takes down Caster with a big boot, then clotheslines Bowens over the top rope.

Arn Anderson: Here comes Hangman, cleaning house!

Page sets up Caster for the Buckshot Lariat, but Bowens pulls Caster out of the ring at the last second. Page dives through the ropes, taking out both members of The Acclaimed with a suicide dive. He rolls Caster back into the ring and tags Omega.

Omega lifts Caster for the One-Winged Angel, but Bowens slides back into the ring and superkicks Omega, causing him to drop Caster. Page runs in and clotheslines Bowens out of the ring again. However, in the chaos, Caster rolls up Omega for a near fall.

Kevin Kelly: The Acclaimed almost stole one there!

Omega tags Page back in. Page sets up for another Buckshot Lariat. As he goes for it, Caster ducks, and Page accidentally hits Omega with the Lariat instead, knocking him out cold!

Bowens capitalizes by throwing Page out of the ring. Caster hits a Mic Drop on Omega, and Bowens covers for the three count.

Kevin Kelly: Unbelievable! The Acclaimed have done it! New AEW Tag Team Champions!

As The Acclaimed celebrate, Hangman Page is distraught as he attempts to revive Kenny Omega.

Winners and NEW Tag Team Champions: The Acclaimed

SEGMENT TWO

The camera is positioned just outside the office door, giving a peek into the room. Sami Zayn, the Co-BWM Inc. Chairman, is on the phone, his face serious but composed. It’s heavily implied that he’s speaking to WWE CEO, Jeff Murrey.

Sami Zayn: [on the phone] There’s nothing to worry about, Jeff. What happened to Benny last week, while very unfortunate, has no bearing on the World of Wrestling Draft deal we’ve negotiated.

Sami leans back in his chair, his tone shifting to one of respect and reminiscence.

Sami Zayn: I have a lot of respect for you, Jeff. You were the first one to take a chance on me, and I’ve never forgotten that. I’m sorry to hear about your recent health troubles.

Sami listens intently to the response on the other end of the line, nodding occasionally.

Sami Zayn: [on the phone] Absolutely. I’m looking forward to seeing you in June. We can sign the paperwork then.

He ends the call with a confident smile, placing the phone back on the desk. The camera slowly pulls away, leaving Sami in his office, deep in thought.

Back at ringside, Arn Anderson and Kevin Kelly discuss what we just witnessed. Kelly says that Sami Zayn always seems to be juggling a million things at once, and eventually, that’s going to come crashing down on him. Anderson says it’s unwise to doubt Sami Zayn when he’s given us no indication that he’s not able to handle the burdens he’s under. The two shift gears and discuss the upcoming bout between Brock Lesnar and Sting.

Anderson says the road to Retribution began last summer at Starrcade, when Darby Allin cost Brock Lesnar his shot at the AEW World Heavyweight Championship. Since then, Lesnar has been intertwined with Allin, and Allin had pulled a fast one over on Lesnar at every turn, including the introduction of “The Icon” Sting. Two weeks ago, Lesnar took Darby Allin out of the equation, and now Sting is all that’s left to conquer.

Match #2 | Exhibition Match
Brock Lesnar vs. Sting

The bell rings, and Brock Lesnar charges at Sting like a bull, immediately taking him down with a double leg takedown. Lesnar mounts Sting and rains down a series of brutal punches, showcasing his dominance early on.

Arn Anderson: Lesnar coming out like a house on fire! Sting is in trouble already!

Lesnar lifts Sting and throws him into the corner, driving his shoulder into Sting’s midsection repeatedly. Sting tries to fight back with some forearm shots, but Lesnar shrugs them off and delivers a thunderous belly-to-belly suplex, sending Sting halfway across the ring.

Kevin Kelly: Sting can’t find any offense here. Lesnar is completely overpowering him!

Lesnar stalks Sting, who struggles to get to his feet. Lesnar grabs Sting and hits a German suplex, followed by another, and another, each one more devastating than the last. Sting is barely moving as Lesnar stands tall, taunting the crowd.

Arn Anderson: This is just a one-sided beatdown. Lesnar is making a statement tonight.

Kevin Kelly: Brock Lesnar is one of the scariest men in wrestling. People have often wondered if Darby Allin had a death wish, and watching what Lesnar’s doing to Sting right now, I think the answer is “yes.”

Lesnar pulls Sting up and hoists him onto his shoulders, delivering a devastating F-5. He looks down at Sting, shakes his head, and then lifts him up for a second F-5. The crowd is in shock at the sheer brutality.

Kevin Kelly: Another F-5! Lesnar isn’t done yet!

Lesnar, with a sadistic grin, lifts Sting once more and hits a third F-5, leaving Sting motionless in the center of the ring. Lesnar calls for a microphone as he stands over Sting’s lifeless body, and the referee counts the three!

Arn Anderson: This is hard to watch. Lesnar has absolutely decimated Sting here.

Lesnar takes the microphone, his voice booming through the arena.

Brock Lesnar: I’m done with Darby Allin! I’m done with Sting! This right here (points to Sting) is what happens to anyone who gets in my way! Now, I’m turning my focus back to the only thing that matters—the All Elite Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship!

Lesnar drops the microphone, his words echoing through the silent crowd. He stands tall, raising his arms as his music hits.

Kevin Kelly: Lesnar has made his intentions clear. The AEW World Heavyweight Championship is his next target. I wouldn’t want to be MJF or Roman Reigns right about now!

Arn Anderson: After a performance like that, who can stop him? Lesnar is a force of nature.

The camera focuses on Sting being attended to by medical staff, then cuts to Lesnar walking up the ramp, his eyes locked on the future prize.

The scene fades out with Lesnar standing at the top of the ramp, staring down at the ring, content with his utter brutalization of “The Icon.”

Winner: Brock Lesanr

SEGMENT THREE

Backstage, AEW Correspondent Renee Young is standing by with the legendary Master Splinter, who is solemn and serious ahead of his Total Anarchy: All Elite match later tonight with Sami Zayn.

Renee Young: Ladies and gentlemen, I’m here with the legendary Master Splinter. Splinter, it’s possible that tonight could be your very last appearance on a wrestling show. What’s going through your head right now?

Master Splinter: Renee, tonight is a crucial night. I am the only thing that stands between the world of wrestling and tyranny under the direction of Sami Zayn. I’ve seen the true Sami since day one, and I suspect he had something to do with Benny Mouse getting flattened last week by Armageddon. I tried to warn Benny, but I couldn’t get through to him.

Renee Young: You’ve certainly had a long and storied career, Splinter. What are your thoughts as you head into this match with so much on the line?

Master Splinter: Tonight, I’m going to give it my best shot to take down Sami Zayn so the Board of Directors can finally install someone impartial and fair. This isn’t just a match; it’s a battle for the future of our industry. If this is my last night in professional wrestling, I’m going to make it one to remember.

Renee Young: The stakes couldn’t be higher. Can you tell us who you’ve selected as your lumberjacks for tonight’s match?

Master Splinter: I’ve found a few friends from my past who fit the bill perfectly. They understand the importance of tonight and are ready to ensure a fair fight. Trust me, Renee, they’ll keep things in check.

Renee Young: Thank you, Splinter. Any final thoughts before you head out there tonight?

Master Splinter: Just this—Sami Zayn, your reign of deceit ends tonight. For Megan, for the Board, and for every fan who believes in justice. Tonight, we fight for the future.

Renee Young: Thank you, Splinter. Good luck out there.

The camera pans in on Master Splinter’s determined face as he prepares for what could be the final match of his illustrious career. The scene fades out, leaving the audience in anticipation of the epic showdown to come.

Back at ringside, Anderson and Kelly note that there’s a lot on the line for Splinter tonight. Kelly says if he loses, he not only has to retire, but can never appear on a wrestling program ever again! They switch gears as we see a hype video for our upcoming triple threat match for the AEW Television Championship between Cody Rhodes, Gunther, and Swerve Strickland. They discuss Strickland’s meteoric rise to prominence since we saw the first vignette hyping him at Genesis, and since he’s picked up a singles victory against the former AEW World Heavyweight Champion AJ Styles! But then, Gunther arrived on scene and has been making Swerve’s and Cody’s lives hell ever since. Tonight, we settle it in the ring for the belt all three have dubbed the “Workhorse Championship” in All Elite Wrestling!

Match #3 | AEW Television Championship
Cody Rhodes (C) vs. Swerve Strickland vs. Gunther

Arn Anderson: Ladies and gentlemen, we are set for an explosive Triple Threat match for the AEW TV Championship! Cody Rhodes, the champion, faces off against Swerve Strickland and the monstrous Gunther.

Kevin Kelly: I like to call Gunther the “Great Disruptor,” because ever since he arrived to AEW and threw away the WWE European Championship, this place just hasn’t been the same! Tonight, he could walk out of here with a new name: Champion!

The bell rings, and the three competitors circle each other. Gunther immediately goes after Cody Rhodes with a series of powerful forearm shots, driving him into the corner. Swerve Strickland uses the opportunity to attack Gunther from behind with a dropkick, but Gunther barely budges.

Arn Anderson: If I’m Swerve Strickland in there, I’d stop be using my speed to tire the “Ring General” out.

Kevin Kelly: They don’t call him the Ring General for nothing, Arn. I’m not sure “tiring him out” is a viable strategy. The man has cardio for days!

Cody recovers and teams up with Swerve, both men hitting Gunther with rapid strikes and kicks, trying to wear him down. Gunther fights back, pushing them both away and delivering a thunderous chop to Cody’s chest, sending him crashing to the mat.

Kevin Kelly: Did you hear that chop?

Arn Anderson: I think all of San Antonio heard that one!

Swerve ducks a clothesline from Gunther and springboards off the ropes, hitting a flying forearm that staggers the big man. Cody follows up with a Disaster Kick, finally taking Gunther off his feet.

Arn Anderson: While it’s a smart strategy to work together in the short term, we all know that’s not a viable solution in a triple threat match.

Cody goes for a quick pin on Gunther, but Swerve pulls him off. They exchange heated words before Cody hits Swerve with a stiff right hand. The two brawl, with Cody getting the upper hand and hitting a snap powerslam on Swerve. Cody covers, but Swerve kicks out at two.

Gunther is back on his feet, and he grabs both Cody and Swerve, delivering a double German suplex that sends the crowd into a frenzy. He roars, signaling his dominance.

Arn Anderson: What an awesome display of power from Gunther!

Gunther focuses on Cody, lifting him for a powerbomb, but Swerve clips Gunther’s knee, causing him to drop Cody. Swerve hits a rolling thunder flatliner on Gunther, followed by a standing shooting star press. He covers, but Gunther powers out at two.

Kevin Kelly: Swerve with incredible offense, but it’s not enough to keep Gunther down.

Cody capitalizes, hitting Swerve with a Cross Rhodes. He covers, but Gunther breaks it up with a massive boot to Cody’s head. Gunther then drags Cody to the center of the ring and locks him in a brutal camel clutch.

Arn Anderson: He’s got it locked on in the center of the ring! There’s nowhere for the champion to go!

Cody struggles, the pain etched on his face. The referee checks on him as his movements become weaker. Just as Cody’s about to pass out, Swerve springs to life, hitting Gunther with a devastating House Call kick to the side of the head. Gunther releases the hold and collapses.

Kevin Kelly: What a House Call from Swerve! Gunther is down!

Swerve quickly covers the unconscious Cody Rhodes, hooking the leg. The referee counts—one, two, three!

Arn Anderson: My God, I can’t believe what we’re seeing! We have a new AEW TV Champion! Swerve Strickland has done it!

Kevin Kelly: What an incredible match! Swerve Strickland seizes the moment and pins Cody Rhodes to win the championship!

Swerve Strickland stands tall, the AEW TV Championship held high above his head as the crowd erupts in cheers. Gunther rolls out of the ring, looking furious and frustrated. Cody lies motionless, the victim of Swerve’s perfectly timed strike.

Arn Anderson: Swerve took advantage of the chaos and struck at the perfect moment. What a victory!

Kevin Kelly: Tonight, Swerve Strickland proves he’s a top-tier competitor and the new AEW TV Champion! What a match!

The camera captures Swerve celebrating with the fans, the championship belt gleaming in the spotlight. He shouts, “Who’s House?” and the capacity crowd responds emphatically, “Swerve’s House!”

Winner and NEW AEW TV Champion: Swerve Strickland
Match Time: 22:12

SEGMENT FOUR

Outside of Heroes Stadium, The Bloodline—Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman, The Usos, Yokozuna, and Umaga—arrive in a convoy of black SUVs. They step out, and Paul Heyman looks especially confident.

Paul Heyman: Do you feel it in the air, my Tribal Cheif? Tonight is going to be a great night. I’ve solved our “Lesnar problem” by negotiating a future title shot for him.

Roman Reigns stops in his tracks, his expression darkening.

Roman Reigns: What do you mean, Paul? If I win tonight, that means I’ll have to give Lesnar a shot.

Heyman raises his hands defensively, trying to calm Roman down.

Paul Heyman: Roman, we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it. This was the only option to ensure an amicable separation with Lesnar. Trust me, it was necessary.

Roman looks frustrated but nods, accepting Heyman’s explanation.

Roman Reigns: You’re asking me to do that a lot lately.

They all head towards the entrance of the arena, only to be stopped by a group of men dressed as AEW Security Guards. It’s High Minded—Hulk Hogan, Matt Riddle, Randy Savage, Scott Hall, and Kevin Nash.

Hulk Hogan: [smirking] Alright, Roman, you’re permitted to enter. But as per the stipulation everyone agreed upon, the rest of the Bloodline is barred from the arena tonight, brother.

The Usos start to protest, but Roman holds up a hand to stop them.

Roman Reigns: A deal is a deal. You guys go get our hotel reservation sorted out. After I become World Heavyweight Champion tonight, we’re going to throw the biggest celebration San Antonio has ever seen!

The Usos reluctantly nod and start to walk away. Roman turns back to Hogan, Riddle, Savage, Hall, and Nash, staring them down

Roman Reigns: I’ll see you at Starrcade.

High Minded steps aside, allowing Roman and Heyman to enter the arena. The camera follows them as they disappear inside.

As the cell is lowered, Arn Anderson and Kevin Kelly discuss the upcoming Total Anarchy: All Elite match. The match contains seven stipulations. It’s an Iron Man Match, it’s a Hell in a Cell Match, if the participants do escape the cell, falls count anywhere. The ropes will be wrapped in barbed wire, the first blood drawn in the match gives the assailant two falls, breaking an opponent’s bones or injuring them scores five falls. The final stipulation is that it’s a lumberjack match!

Before Sami Zayn is introduced, his lumberjacks make their way to the ring. Representing Zayn are The Undertaker, Kane, Menotaur, and the Acolytes (Faarooq is in a cast from the assault from Armageddon about a month ago). Next, Splinter’s lumberjacks are introduced – The Harlem Turtles are out first, and then they’re joined by Splidder. Then, the final two are revealed: Leonardo and Raphael!

Match #4 | Total Anarchy: All Elite (If Splinter wins, Sami Zayn must reinstall the Board of Directors and comply with the findings of their investigation. If Zayn wins, Splinter must retire and agree to never appear on a wrestling program again!)
Master Splinter vs. Sami Zayn

Arn Anderson: Ladies and gentlemen, this is the match everyone has been waiting for—Total Anarchy: All Elite. This is the first Total Anarchy match to ever happen in BWM Inc., and the rules are simple: The match runs for one hour, and whoever leaves with the most falls will be declared the winner.

Kevin Kelly: That’s right, Arn. The participant to draw blood will be awarded two falls. If they break an opponent’s bones, the assailant receives five falls. The ropes inside the cage are wrapped with barbed wire, adding another layer of danger. And let’s not forget, the lumberjacks outside the cell are here to keep the peace if either Zayn or Splinter tries to escape. However, if they do escape, falls count anywhere!

Voices by Disturbed hits, and the legendary Master Splinter makes his entrance. The crowd erupts in cheers, showing their support for the legendary fighter. Splinter, with a focused and determined expression, steps into the cell, eyeing the barbed wire-wrapped ropes.

Arn Anderson: Here comes Splinter, the man who stands between the world of wrestling and tyranny under Sami Zayn’s rule. You can see the determination in his eyes.

“Worlds Apart” hits and the crowd boos as Co-BWM Inc. Chairman Sami Zayn comes out. He pushes a wheelchair containing his catatonic wife, Megan Mouse, to ringside. The crowd boos loudly, but Sami smirks, unfazed by the reaction.

Kevin Kelly: And here comes Sami Zayn, the man who has orchestrated so much chaos this year. Bringing Megan Mouse to ringside is a calculated move, adding another layer of psychological warfare.

Arn Anderson: Sami Zayn has been a master manipulator and schemer, and tonight he’s going to find out if it all was worth it as he steps inside an All Elite Wrestling ring for the first time ever!

As soon as the bell rings, Splinter tackles Sami, taking him to the mat and unloading a series of stiff punches. Sami tries to defend himself, but Splinter is relentless, hammering away with fierce strikes. The crowd roars in approval.

Kevin Kelly: Splinter isn’t giving Sami any breathing room, he’s been waiting for this moment for months!

Arn Anderson: And you have to wonder, how is Sami’s cardio and conditioning? He hasn’t wrestled in well over a year.

Splinter lets off momentarily, and when Sami gets back to his feet, Splinter whips him into the barbed wire ropes. Sami screams in pain as the barbed wire digs into his back, causing him to bleed profusely. The referee signals to give the first two falls to Splinter.

Arn Anderson: And just like that, Splinter scores the first two falls! Sami Zayn is busted wide open!

Splinter goes under the ring and grabs two steel chairs, tossing them into the ring. As he climbs back in, Sami finally starts to fight back. Sami grabs one of the chairs and swings it at Splinter, but Splinter ducks and counters with a kick to Sami’s midsection, causing him to drop the chair.

Sami, desperate, rakes Splinter’s eyes and grabs him, mocking Splinter by hitting him with an Olympic Slam. The crowd boos loudly as Sami locks Splinter into an ankle lock, applying intense pressure.

Arn Anderson: Sami Zayn with an Olympic Slam and now an ankle lock! He’s mocking Splinter!

Splinter fights through the pain, using his free leg to kick Sami off. He manages to escape the hold, but Sami doesn’t let up. Sami grabs Splinter and whips him into the corner before hitting a Helluva Kick. Splinter crumples to the mat.

Sami drags Splinter to the center of the ring and covers him, but Splinter kicks out at two. Frustrated, Sami lifts Splinter up and sets him up for another Helluva Kick.

Sami charges and delivers a second Helluva Kick, knocking Splinter out cold. The referee counts the fall as the clock hits 15 minutes, making the score 2-1.

Arn Anderson: We’ve only seen the first 15 minutes of this Total Anarchy match, and it’s already been intense. Who knows what the next 45 minutes will bring?

Sami and Splinter continue to brawl around the ringside area, exchanging punches and kicks. Sami manages to grab a kendo stick from under the ring and swings it at Splinter, who ducks and counters with a spinning back fist, knocking the kendo stick out of Sami’s hand.

Splinter grabs Sami and executes a snap suplex on the floor outside the ring, still confined in the cell. The impact echoes throughout the arena. He then drags Sami back into the ring, positioning him on the top turnbuckle.

Splinter climbs up after Sami, hooks his arms around Sami’s waist, and executes a spectacular belly-to-belly suplex from the top rope, sending both men crashing to the mat. The crowd erupts in cheers.

Arn Anderson: Belly-to-belly suplex from the top rope! Both men are down!

Kevin Kelly: Forget Dragonfly, forget Krusader Batman or Jesse Ventura. We’re watching the Greatest of All Time and what may be his magnum opus!

Splinter crawls over and hooks the leg for the cover. 1… 2… but Sami kicks out! Splinter, undeterred, pulls Sami to his feet and delivers a series of stiff kicks to his chest, followed by a spinning heel kick that sends Sami stumbling into the corner.

Splinter charges at Sami, but Sami counters with a boot to the face, staggering Splinter. Sami quickly follows up with a Blue Thunder Bomb, driving Splinter into the mat. He goes for the pin. 1… 2… but Splinter kicks out!

Sami, frustrated, grabs a steel chair and swings it at Splinter, but Splinter rolls out of the way, causing Sami to hit the mat. Splinter springs to his feet and nails Sami with a dropkick, sending him tumbling through the ropes and into the cell wall.

Splinter follows Sami outside the ring and slams his head into the cell wall, then whips him into the steel steps. Sami crashes hard, and Splinter wastes no time, lifting Sami and executing a German suplex on the floor.

Splinter rolls Sami back into the ring and climbs to the top turnbuckle. He leaps off, going for a frog splash, but Sami gets his knees up at the last second, driving them into Splinter’s midsection. Both men are down, writhing in pain.

Both competitors struggle to their feet, using the ropes for support. They charge at each other, with Sami hitting a clothesline that takes Splinter down. Sami quickly lifts Splinter and delivers an exploder suplex into the turnbuckle, causing Splinter to crumple to the mat.

Sami pulls Splinter out of the corner and goes for the cover. 1… 2… but Splinter kicks out! Sami, increasingly desperate, drags Splinter to the center of the ring and locks in the Koji Clutch, applying intense pressure.

Splinter struggles, the pain etched on his face, but he manages to roll over, reversing the pressure and forcing Sami to release the hold. Both men get to their feet and trade stiff forearm shots in the center of the ring.

Splinter gains the upper hand, delivering a flurry of strikes and a spinning back kick that drops Sami. Splinter quickly follows up with a running knee strike, but Sami ducks and counters with a half-and-half suplex, dropping Splinter on his head.

Sami drags Splinter to the corner and climbs the turnbuckle, going for a diving elbow drop. Splinter rolls out of the way at the last second, causing Sami to crash into the mat. Splinter seizes the opportunity, grabbing a steel chair and setting it up in the center of the ring.

Splinter lifts Sami and sets him up for a DDT onto the chair. Sami fights back, reversing the move into a Northern Lights suplex, but Splinter lands on his feet and catches Sami with a superkick. Sami stumbles back into the barbed wire ropes, screaming in pain again.

Arn Anderson: The barbed wire ropes coming into play once more! This match is brutal!

As the clock hits 30 minutes, both men are back in the ring, exchanging blows. Sami sets up for another Helluva Kick, but Splinter catches him with a spinning heel kick, dropping Sami. Splinter goes for the cover. 1… 2… but Sami kicks out!

We’re at the halfway point, and it’s still 2-1 in favor of Splinter. This match has been an absolute war!

Both men eventually make it to their feet. Sami Zayn, barely able to stand, hits another Blue Thunder Bomb on Splinter. Instead of going for the cover, he yells for senior official Michael McMahon to open the cell door. McMahon hesitates, clearly conflicted.

Sami Zayn: Open the door! I’m your boss! Do what I say, or you’re fired!

Reluctantly, McMahon opens the cell door. As soon as he does, Sami calls for his lumberjacks. Undertaker, Kane, the Acolytes, and Menotaur enter the cell, ready to inflict more damage. Sami tries to lock the door behind them, but Splinter’s lumberjacks rush in next. The Harlem Turtles and the Brothers of Destruction start brawling around the ring.

Kevin Kelly: All hell is breaking loose! The lumberjacks are in the cell, and it’s total chaos!

Raphael and Leonardo pop the crowd by hitting their finishers on the Acolytes. Splidder enters the cell and helps his brother Splinter to his feet. The crowd is on fire as all twelve men stand, ready for a massive clash.

Arn Anderson: This is what Total Anarchy is all about! Look at this sight!

The Harlem Turtles, Raphael, Leonardo, Splidder, and Splinter charge at Sami Zayn, the Brothers of Destruction, Menotaur, and the Acolytes. They hit a 6-way spear that sends all of them flying into the cage wall, which gives way, and all twelve men topple to the outside. The crowd erupts in a “Holy Shit” chant as the chaos unfolds.

Kevin Kelly: The cage wall just gave way! Everyone is down! The referee is out too!

On the landing, it’s clear that Sami Zayn has broken a bone in his foot, but the ref doesn’t see it. Sami, showing incredible resilience, manages to reach under the ring and grab some tape. He heavily tapes his ankle up so he can continue the match.

Arn Anderson: Sami Zayn’s foot is broken, but he’s taping it up! This is unbelievable!

With the crowd still buzzing, Sami gets back to his feet and drags Splinter up the stage. He lifts Splinter and hits a devastating Blue Thunder Bomb from the top of the stage through a table. Both men crash through the table, Splinter lying motionless as Sami covers him.

Kevin Kelly: Blue Thunder Bomb from the top of the stage! This has to be it!

The referee, slowly coming to, counts the fall. 1… 2… 3! Sami Zayn ties the score, making it 2-2 as the clock strikes 45 minutes, officially becoming the longest match in AEW history.

The crowd is on their feet, chanting and cheering as both men lie on the wreckage of the broken table, the match reaching new levels of brutality and drama. The clock continues to tick down, and the camera focuses on the battered and bloodied faces of Sami Zayn and Master Splinter as they struggle to rise.

Arn Anderson: My God, Kevin, this is absolute carnage. Both men are somehow still fighting, but you have to wonder how much longer they can keep this up!

Kevin Kelly: They’re both running on pure adrenaline now, Arn. Splinter and Sami are giving everything they have left!

The brawl spills down the ramp, and both men are outside of the ring. The lumberjacks are still sprawled out like bodies on a battlefield, showing the toll this match has taken on everyone involved. Splinter starts climbing the cell, and the crowd gasps in anticipation.

Arn Anderson: My God, what’s he doing!? Don’t do it, Splinter!

Sami Zayn, despite his injured foot, starts climbing after Splinter. Officials are littered around the ring, trying to prevent any more chaos since the cage wall took out Senior Official Michael McMahon. Sami struggles due to his foot, but he pushes himself to reach the top. Just as he’s about to climb over the edge, Splinter stomps on his hands.

Sami loses his grip and crashes through the announce table below. The crowd erupts as Splinter looks down from the top of the cell, observing the anarchy around the ringside. He does the Catholic cross prayer symbol over his chest before leaping off the top of the cell, crashing onto Sami Zayn!!

Kevin Kelly: Splinter from the top of the cell! Oh my God, they’re right next to Megan Mouse! This is unbelievable!

The crowd chants “Holy Shit” as Splinter inches over to cover Sami Zayn. The referee, Pete, begins to count the fall that would give Splinter a 3-2 advantage. Just as Pete’s hand is about to hit the three count, an arm grabs his hand, stopping him from counting.

The camera slowly pans, revealing Megan Mouse standing up in front of her wheelchair!

Arn Anderson: What the hell is going on? Megan Mouse is standing up! She’s been catatonic for weeks!

Megan reaches down and grabs Splinter, lifting him up. She looks into his eyes and says, “MOUSE SLAM!” She drops Splinter hard on a pile of steel chairs and the wreckage from the table. Sami Zayn slowly gets to his feet and locks eyes with Megan. The two share a passionate kiss as Sami, covered in blood, smiles sadistically!

Kevin Kelly: My God, what are we witnessing!

Arn Anderson: Megan Mouse is TRULY her father’s daughter right now.

Sami, with a twisted grin, picks Splinter up and hits his own move – the Spinal Cord Spiral – driving Splinter into the wreckage. The referee, Pete, counts the final fall. 1… 2… 3! Sami wins the match with a score of 3-2 as the timer stops and the bell sounds.

Arn Anderson: I can’t believe what we’ve just witnessed. Megan Mouse has aligned herself with Sami Zayn! This is an absolute travesty!

Kevin Kelly: Sami Zayn has won the Total Anarchy: All Elite match in the most shocking way possible. The tyranny of Sami Zayn continues, and Splinter’s valiant effort ends in heartbreak!

The camera captures the stunned faces of the crowd as Sami Zayn stands victorious, holding Megan Mouse close, both smiling as if nothing could touch them. The legacy of Splinter lies in the wreckage, a testament to his bravery and sacrifice in the face of overwhelming odds.

Winner: Sami Zayn

SEGMENT FIVE

Backstage, AEW Correspondent Taz is standing by with the AEW World Heavyweight Champion, MJF. The atmosphere is electric as the champion prepares for his title defense tonight.

Taz: Ladies and gentlemen, I’m here with the AEW World Heavyweight Champion, MJF. Max, tonight you defend your title against Roman Reigns, and neither of you can have your stables interfere. How are you feeling about this stipulation?

MJF scoffs, adjusting the championship belt on his shoulder.

MJF: Taz, let me make something abundantly clear. I’ve never needed Wardlow or Scott Steiner to beat anyone, let alone Roman Reigns. Roman is a joke, and his Bloodline can’t even win the war with the stoners in High Minded.

MJF smirks, his confidence radiating through the screen.

MJF: I’m a generational talent, Taz, and the brass around here know it. I demanded better treatment under the threat of entering myself into the draft, and now I’m World Champion! I am the future of this business, and tonight, I’m going to lead all of my devoted followers into the 7th Era of professional wrestling as the champion of the world.

Taz: You’ve certainly made a mark, but Roman Reigns is no slouch. He’s a formidable opponent.

MJF glares at Taz, shaking his head.

MJF: Roman Reigns knows what everyone here in San Antonio knows, and what everyone around the world knows: I am better than Roman Reigns, and we all know it!

MJF smirks one last time before turning and walking off, leaving Taz speechless due to his confidence and arrogance.

Back at ringside, Arn Anderson and Kevin Kelly discuss what we just saw.

Arn Anderson: Folks, we’ve just witnessed one of the most brutal and shocking matches in the history of BWM Inc. The crews have cleaned up the carnage left from the Total Anarchy: All Elite match, but the implications of that battle will linger for a long time.

Kevin Kelly: The career of Master Splinter has come to an end, and as we get set to launch into the 7th Era, it’s clear we’ll be doing so under the twisted tyranny of Mr. and Mrs. Sami Zayn. Sami’s victory tonight solidifies his hold over the world of wrestling.

Arn Anderson: It’s a dark day for sure, Kevin. But as they say, the show must go on. And up next, we have a highly anticipated match for the Knockouts Championship. Miss Athena Star is set to challenge The EST Bianca Belair for the belt.

Kevin Kelly: Both women have had an incredible 2024, Arn. They’ve faced and overcome some of the toughest competition in the business. Tonight, only one will walk out of here with the Knockouts Championship.

Match #5 | AEW Knockouts Championship
Bianca Belair (C) vs. Miss Athena Star

As the introductions are made, Anderson and Kelly discuss the two competitors, both of which are at the top of their games.

Arn Anderson: Athena Star has been on a tear this year. She’s been laser-focused on this moment, and you can see it in her eyes, Kevin. She’s ready for this.

Kevin Kelly: Absolutely, Arn. She said if 2024 was her final year, that she wanted one last reign with the belt she made famous before hanging up her boots. Athena Star has proven time and again that she can rise to the occasion. But tonight, she faces one of the most dominant champions in recent memory.

The arena lights dim, and a spotlight shines on the entrance ramp as The EST Bianca Belair’s music blares through the speakers. She steps out, the Knockouts Championship gleaming around her waist. The crowd gives her a thunderous ovation as she makes her way to the ring, swinging her iconic braid.

Arn Anderson: And here she comes, Kevin. The reigning Knockouts Champion, Bianca Belair. She’s had an incredible run, and she’s looking to keep that momentum going tonight.

Kevin Kelly: Bianca Belair is the epitome of athleticism and charisma. She’s set the standard for what it means to be a champion, and tonight she’s ready to defend her title against a very formidable challenger.

Arn Anderson: And there’s the bell! We’re underway in this Knockouts Championship match!

Bianca Belair and Miss Athena Star circle each other, then lock up in the center of the ring. Belair’s power quickly becomes apparent as she overpowers Star, forcing her into the corner.

Arn Anderson: Bianca Belair showing her strength right out of the gate. She’s looking to ground Athena Star and nullify her high-flying offense.

Belair uses a series of power moves to maintain control, including a body slam and a delayed vertical suplex. She transitions into a headlock, trying to wear Star down. Athena struggles but manages to fight her way back to her feet.

Belair attempts another power move, but Athena Star slips out of her grasp and fights back with a series of quick strikes. She hits her signature handspring cartwheel into a flying elbow in the corner, catching Belair off guard. The crowd pops as Star follows up with a facebuster.

Kevin Kelly: That handspring cartwheel into a flying elbow is a thing of beauty. Athena Star is showing why she’s such a formidable challenger.

Athena Star controls the pace for a while, hitting a variety of high-impact moves and aerial assaults. Belair, showing her resilience, fights back, and the match becomes a back-and-forth battle, with both women trading nearfalls.

Arn Anderson: This is an absolute barnburner of a match! Both of these women are leaving it all in the ring tonight.

As the match reaches its climax, Belair looks to end things with her signature move, the Kiss of Death (KOD). She lifts Star up, but Star manages to wriggle free and land on her feet.

Kevin Kelly: Star escapes the KOD! What a counter!

Athena Star quickly capitalizes, hitting a devastating Canadian Destroyer that leaves the crowd in awe. She doesn’t waste a moment and heads to the top rope.

Kevin Kelly: I’ve never seen Star use a Canadian Destroyer before!

Arn Anderson: And now she’s going for it, Kevin! The 4:20 Splash!

Athena Star leaps off the top rope, executing a perfect 4:20 Splash and landing hard on Belair. She hooks the leg for the cover.

1… 2…. 3!!!

Arn Anderson: She did it! Athena Star has done it! She’s the new Knockouts Champion!

The crowd erupts in cheers as Athena Star is handed the Knockouts Championship. She holds it high above her head, tears of joy streaming down her face.

Kevin Kelly: What an incredible match and what an incredible moment. After 13 years, Athena Star is once again the Knockouts Champion!

Arn Anderson: This is what it’s all about, Kevin. The dedication, the passion, the will to succeed. Athena Star has shown all of that and more tonight. Congratulations to the new Knockouts Champion!

Winner and NEW Knockouts Champion: Miss Athena Star

SEGMENT SIX

Match #6 | AEW World Heavyweight Championship
MJF (C) vs. Roman Reigns w/ Paul Heyman

Arn Anderson: Folks, it’s main event time! The AEW World Heavyweight Championship is on the line as MJF defends against Roman Reigns.

Kevin Kelly: What an incredible night of action we’ve witnessed thus far. And it should be noted, all of the defending champions have lost tonight. An ominous sign for MJF heading into this anticipated match.

Arn Anderson: Lenny Mouse better be saying a non-stop prayer for the champion, because those are hard trends to buck on a night where all the other titles have changed hands.

Kevin Kelly: Both of these men have been at the top of their game, and tonight, it all comes down to this. No posses allowed, just one-on-one action for the most prestigious title in AEW.

The bell rings, and the match begins with a tense staredown. The crowd is electric as MJF and Roman Reigns circle each other. They lock up, and the battle begins.

Arn Anderson: An HERE WE GO! Both men locking up, testing each other’s strength.

MJF quickly transitions into a headlock, but Roman powers out, sending MJF into the ropes. On the rebound, Roman floors MJF with a powerful shoulder block. MJF rolls out of the ring to regroup, but Roman follows him, delivering a series of punches that send MJF reeling.

Back in the ring, Roman continues to dominate with a series of power moves, including a Samoan Drop and a leaping clothesline. MJF fights back with his cunning and technical prowess, countering Roman’s offense with a thumb to the eye followed by a DDT. MJF covers, but Roman kicks out at two.

Arn Anderson: Both of these men are masters at bending the rules to their advantage.

MJF continues to work over Roman, targeting his legs with a series of chop blocks and leg submissions, trying to neutralize Roman’s power. Roman struggles but manages to reverse a figure-four leglock, forcing MJF to grab the ropes to break the hold.

The match seesaws back and forth, with both men hitting their signature moves. Roman nails MJF with a Superman Punch, but MJF kicks out at two. MJF retaliates with a Heatseeker piledriver, but Roman gets his shoulder up just in time.

Arn Anderson: Neither of these men want to give up the chance to leave San Antonio as World Champion!

In the final moments, MJF sets up for the Salt of the Earth armbar, but Roman powers out and hits a thunderous spear. Roman goes for the cover, but MJF somehow kicks out again. Frustrated, Roman signals for another spear.

Kevin Kelly: Roman Reigns is looking to end this! Another spear could do it!

As Roman sets up, Logan Paul runs down to ringside with the Internet Championship in hand. He climbs onto the apron, seemingly to assist MJF. However, as Roman moves out of the way, Logan accidentally clocks MJF with the Internet Championship instead! The crowd is stunned.

Arn Anderson: Logan Paul just took out MJF! This wasn’t supposed to happen!

Kevin Kelly: Technically, Logan Paul isn’t an MJF lackey, so this doesn’t violate the no interference rule. But what a mistake!

Logan Paul is incredulous at his blunder, standing in shock. Roman takes advantage of the chaos, spearing Logan Paul and nearly breaking him in half. Paul Heyman is cheering on from ringside as Roman nails MJF with a devastating Superman Punch. Roman goes for the cover.

Arn Anderson: Roman Reigns with the Superman Punch! This has to be it!

Just as the referee is about to count three, the lights go out, plunging the arena into darkness. The crowd erupts in confusion and anticipation.

Kevin Kelly: What the hell is going on? The lights are out!

The arena remains in darkness, with the only sound being the confused murmurs of the crowd and the commentators’ voices.

As the lights come back on, Roman Reigns is standing in the center of the ring, looking around for answers.

Suddenly, Armageddon charges from the crowd and into the ring and flattens Roman Reigns with a massive splash. Paul Heyman watches in horror from ringside, shouting in disbelief.

Kevin Kelly: Armageddon just crushed Roman Reigns! Heyman looks like he’s seen a ghost!

Armageddon then turns his sights to MJF, who’s still dazed from the earlier chaos. With a thunderous bonsai drop, Armageddon leaves MJF flattened in the ring.

Arn Anderson: This is carnage! Armageddon has taken out both Roman and MJF! But why???

Suddenly, “Worlds Apart” hits, and the crowd erupts in a mixture of shock and anger as Sami Zayn, bloodied and bruised from his earlier match, emerges with Megan Mouse by his side. They make their way to the ring, where Sami whispers something into the ring announcer Jane Mouse’s ear.

Kevin Kelly: No way! It’s Sami Zayn and Megan Mouse! What on earth is happening?

Jane Mouse: Ladies and gentlemen, by order of the Chairman, this match is now a triple threat match, with Sami Zayn inserting himself into the match!

Arn Anderson: This is an outrage! Sami Zayn is abusing his authority!

Sami orders Armageddon to prop Roman Reigns in the corner. With a sadistic grin, Sami charges at the lifeless Reigns, hitting him with a devastating Helluva Kick. He then picks Roman up and delivers a Blue Thunder Bomb, covering him for the pin.

Kevin Kelly: No! Not like this! Sami Zayn with the cover! The referee counts… one, two, three!

The crowd gasps in shock as Jane Mouse makes the announcement.

Jane Mouse: Ladies and gentlemen, your winner and the NEW AEW World Heavyweight Champion, Sami Zayn!

Arn Anderson: This is a travesty! Splinter was right all along—Armageddon and Sami Zayn have been working together, and it’s clear they arranged the hit on Benny Mouse last week!

The camera zooms in on Armageddon standing menacingly behind Sami Zayn and Megan Mouse. Sami and Megan share a passionate kiss, the world championship held high in the air.

Kevin Kelly: And Megan Mouse has been in on the grift all along! Despicable! Sami Zayn has abused his power and practically gift-wrapped the world title for himself!

Arn Anderson: AEW is now under the twisted tyranny of Sami Zayn and Megan Mouse. What does this mean for the future of our company? For the future of the industry?!

The show ends with Armageddon towering behind the new champion, Sami Zayn, and Megan Mouse, who continue their passionate display as the fans boo loudly.

Kevin Kelly: Folks, we are out of time. For Arn Anderson, I’m Kevin Kelly. Good night from San Antonio, and may God help AEW.

The screen fades to black with the image of Sami Zayn holding the AEW World Heavyweight Championship high, Armageddon standing as his enforcer.
