Opening Segment

The show opens backstage. HBP is pacing back and forth, frustrated and holding the NXT North American Championship with both hands close to his heart. He stops.

HBP: “Kyle. You f**ked up! When you put your hands on me..you f**ked up! When you underestimated me…you f**ked up! I will admit it, I doubted myself when I decided to make a comeback. However, I have come to realize how silly I was. I am the Heart Break Punk! I am wrestling! If I haven’t told you yet… let me reiterate. You…F**ked up! So, now…I have to f**k you up! I know you aren’t here tonight but I am praying that you show up to NXT Vengeance Day. I will put the title on the line but I promise you will be putting a hell of a lot more on the line if you get into the ring with me.

Opening Contest

Mistico versus Stacks

The match begins with Mistico hitting “La Mistica” right out of the gate. One….Two…kick out!

Vic Joseph: Stacks is for real! He may not have the most athletic background but this vibrant 28 year old has heart. Most people don’t know this but Stacks was trained by Kane! So, alongside that mob mentality… he literally learned from a monster!

Booker T: You’re right Vic! Now my boy is landing a fury of punches to Mistico’s dome!

Stacks hits “Bada Bing Bada Boom”. One…Two…kick out!

Mistico hits a flying forearm, followed up by a suplex. Mistico drags Stacks to near the corner. Mistico climbs the turnbuckle and hits a 450 splash. One…Two…Three!

Winner: Mistico

Match Two

Jean Claude Van Damme and Rob Van Dam vs Chase U

Jean Claude storms the ring and jumps into the ring doing some kind of flying front roll through the middle rope. He then does the spits and holds up the okay symbol with his hand.

Jean Claude Van Damme: “Very nice. Beautiful.”

Andre Chase is rolling his eyes but he doesn’t complete the eye roll because Jean Claude sidekicks him and knocks him out. The Bell rings.

Rob Van Dam jumps to the top and hits the Five Star Frog Splash. One…Two…Three.

Winners: Jean Claude Van Damme and Rob Van Dam

Booker T: Woooooooowwwww! Shucky Ducky Quack Quack!

Vic Joseph: These two are definitely getting a shot at the NXT Tag Team Championships!

Ad Break: Promo

A dark room. We here footsteps coming down a long hallway. The shadow on the side of the wall is huge and looks monstrous. As the figure moves closer…the shadow shrinks and the monster becomes the shadow of a mouse. The figure is too dark to see through the shadows. All we can see is smoke filling the room. R……U……M… Rum….

Segment Three

Main Event

NXT Championship Match

Ethan Page (C) versus Barron Corbin

Vic Joseph: There is so much that we can say about this man. He is brash, cocky and definitely All Ego!

Booker T: Yeeeeeaaaahhhhh baby! He can’t be denied. Especially after that epic battle with Trick!

The match begins with Page coming out strong with vicious strikes and quick snap clotheslines one after the other. Corbin is clearly stunned and a little rusty from not being in the ring for awhile.

Vic Joseph: Page has a background in taekwondo but you would never know it because he is always showing us a masterclass in wrestling.

Barron mounts a short lived comeback. As Corbin goes to climb the turnbuckle, Ethan grabs his arms and delivers the Ego’s Edge! One. Two. Three.

Winner: Ethan Page

After the match, Page is celebrating to a chorus of boos and then the lights go out. We here “Wanted Man” by Downstait blare through the speakers! The crowd loses it!

The Most Wanted Man Nic Nemeth comes out to a raucous crowd.

Nemeth: I have been a fan of this great sport since I was five years old! I became a collegiate wrestler at Kent State and set the record for most career wins in the teams history. TNA flopped but I am not going to slip into irrelevancy. Ethan, I am challenging you for the NXT Championship at Vengeance Day!

The show slowly comes to an end as we focus on a very surprised Ethan Page.
