WIN PRESS CONFERENCE
Friday night December 05, 2025
[Lights come up. Cameras flash. A branded backdrop displays: “WIN — Wrestling International Network.” A hush settles as MR. MURREY steps up to the podium.]
MR. MURREY:
Good afternoon.
Thank you all for being here tonight. This is… a big moment. Not just for me, and not just for my companies — but for the entire wrestling universe.
For those who have followed this journey since 1991, you know the road hasn’t been straightforward. I’ve built promotions. I’ve closed promotions. I’ve reinvented systems that didn’t need reinventing, and I’ve held onto systems far longer than I should have. Some decisions were bold. Some… questionable.
But every one of them taught me something.
And today, all of that history finds its purpose.
Today marks the official beginning of the Apex Era.
This is the era where the wrestling universe finally becomes stable, unified, and clear.
MR. MURREY:
Before I go further, I want to acknowledge the World of Wrestling Organization — WOW. For quite some time they have tracked and preserved the history of our universe. Their recordkeeping has been essential. I respect their work, and that work continues.
Up until today, WOW recognized AEW, ULW, and WWE as the active promotions of the Seventh Era — The Prime Era.
And they were right.
But the Prime Era ends today.
MR. MURREY:
Let me explain what the Apex Era means.
For too long, this universe has suffered from instability — sudden mergers, abrupt shutdowns, confusing transitions, and competing promotions that never had time to breathe. Cross To Bare Promotions, Ignite Wrestling, Seventh Era Productions, Murrey Entertainment, Final Boss Media — all of these existed because I kept trying to fix the system from the outside.
The Apex Era fixes it from the inside.
Starting today, the Wrestling International Network — WIN — becomes the central pillar of the wrestling universe.
It is the only corporate entity under my ownership. Everything else — every promotion, every experiment, every side project — has been acquired and dissolved.
WIN is the foundation from here on out.
MR. MURREY:
Now, let me address a few major decisions.
First:
NXT is officially and permanently shut down.
We are not returning to developmental systems. The Apex Era is built on talent who are ready for the main stage.
Second:
NWA will not reopen under the WIN umbrella. The chapter is closed.
Third:
The media landscape is now locked:
WWE remains under WIN on Netflix, ESPN, and Peacock.
AEW continues its current operations with BWM Inc.
ULW enters this era with strong momentum under Cash Mouse Entertainment.
TNA will broadcast exclusively on AMC under WIN.
WIN does not replace these promotions — it unifies them. It acts as the global narrative hub connecting the universe, not controlling it.
MR. MURREY:
Now let’s talk about something I’m personally proud of.
The WIN App.
This is more than a streaming service. This is the first complete map of the wrestling multiverse.
We’re launching with:
Full archives from every promotion I’ve ever founded — WWF, CWA, UCW, UWA, BAWA, LWF, and many more
Lost footage restored
Era explanations
Unified wrestler profiles
Comprehensive timelines
“Apex Editions” that finally straighten out confusing history
For the first time, the wrestling universe makes sense.
MR. MURREY:
The Apex Era is about clarity.
It’s about respecting the past without reliving its mistakes.
It’s about stability — the one thing this industry has needed for far too long.
No more constant reboots.
No more fragile promotions.
No more contradictory timelines.
This is the era where everything finally aligns.
WIN is not another experiment.
WIN is the structure that ends the experiments.
[Reporter raises a hand.]
REPORTER:
Mr. Murrey, what makes you confident this era will last, given the unpredictability of past ventures?
MR. MURREY:
Because for the first time, I’m not trying to build everything.
I’m building the framework that holds everything.
And once the framework is strong, the universe no longer depends on constant reinvention.
This isn’t expansion — this is stabilization.
[Another reporter stands.]
REPORTER 2:
Does this mean the Prime Era and all previous eras are now considered closed?
MR. MURREY:
Yes.
Every era — good, bad, messy, brilliant — is officially preserved. Their stories are finished. Their lessons, not forgotten.
But the Apex Era is the first era built to last.
MR. MURREY (closing):
Thank you all for being part of this moment.
For thirty-plus years, the wrestling universe has evolved through trial and error.
Today, it evolves through intention.
This is the Apex Era —
the pinnacle of everything we’ve built…
and the future I intend to deliver.
And this time?
I intend to WIN.
[He steps away from the podium. Cameras erupt. The Apex Era begins.]

STATE OF THE WRESTLING UNIVERSE ADDRESS
Delivered by Wrestling International Network Owner, Mr. Murrey
Murrey steps up to the podium, grinning ear to ear. The overhead lights bounce clean off his freshly shaved dome, and his beard is trimmed into razor-sharp perfection. His suit is immaculate—serious boss energy.
“Ladies and gentlemen, members of the press, wrestlers, fans around the globe—good evening. It’s a fine day in the world of professional wrestling… well, depending on who you ask.
“Let’s start with the obvious. I’ve heard the rumors, I’ve seen the chatter, I’ve even gotten a few emails written in all caps. This whole situation with Lenny Mouse? Folks… let’s be honest. Lenny isn’t possessed by Mickey. He’s not the victim of some Disney voodoo. The man is just senile. I wish him well, I truly do, but let’s call it what it is. And trust me—I say this with no malice. Only a little disappointment. And maybe a sprinkle of pity.
“Next order of business: Jon Moxley. He’s officially packed his bags and walked himself over to TNA. Good for him. But because of that move, the WWE Tag Team Championships are now—effective immediately—vacated. Starting fresh. Clean slate. No drama.
“Now, something that actually will matter for the future of the sport. After the title-for-title match at SNME, the United States Championship will be unified with the Intercontinental Championship. One title. One legacy. One workhorse belt. The Intercontinental Title will serve as WWE’s definitive proving ground—the place where the hungry rise, and the greats stay great.
“And yes, I know what that means. It means WOW is going to have to update their website again. But I believe in them. I believe in their professionalism. I believe in their commitment to excellence. And most importantly… they don’t throw tantrums like Lenny Mouse. So I’m confident we’ll be fine.”
Murrey straightens his suit jacket, nodding proudly.
“With WWE and TNA now operating cleanly under the WIN umbrella, we’re entering a new era—streamlined, focused, profitable. This simplified structure is going to increase revenue across the board for everyone involved. Better stories. Better shows. Better business. This is what the future looks like.
“One last note: along with NXT… Evolve is shut down as well. We’re tightening the ship. For WWE programming, only Raw and SmackDown will air weekly—our twin pillars. Triple H is running WWE. Carlos Silva is running TNA. And they’re going to take their respective brands to heights this industry hasn’t seen in decades.
“Thank you all for being here today. The Wrestling Universe is evolving—and trust me—you’re going to want to stick around for what comes next.”
Murrey gives one last confident grin, taps the podium twice, and walks offstage to a storm of flashbulbs and chatter.
