WWE Evolve Results – August 20, 2025

Full Sail University – Orlando, FL

Opening Segment

The show opened cold with a dimly lit sit-down interview. Naomi, championship belt resting on her lap, leaned forward and locked her eyes on the camera. No crowd, no music—just her words.

“Rhea Ripley, you don’t have a chance in hell of taking this from me.” She tapped the Women’s Championship plate. Naomi’s delivery was calm but sharp, her confidence cutting like a blade. She promised to expose Ripley at Crown Jewel as “all hype, no crown.” The camera lingered on her stare before fading to black.

Match 1: Bayley vs. Trish Stratus

The crowd was split, half chanting “Bayley! Bayley!” while the other half gave Trish a standing ovation before the bell.

Trish hit her patented headscissors and even teased Stratusfaction, but Bayley shoved her off mid-swing.

Bayley slowed things down with calculated offense—knee strikes into the corner, followed by a rope-hung neckbreaker.

Trish fired back with chops and a Chick Kick that nearly sealed it, but Bayley rolled to the ropes.

Bayley countered a second Chick Kick into a Bayley-to-Belly, planting Trish in the center of the ring for the three-count.

Bayley raised her arms and smirked, while Trish nodded in respect on her way out, giving the legend’s rub to the Evolve cornerstone.

Winner: Bayley

Backstage Segment

Cut to Doc Brown. His voice cracked with intensity:

“I miss Chad Gable more than words can say. And now—now we’ve got Mistico as Intercontinental Champion? That’s not just wrong. That’s the worst thing that’s ever happened to America.”

Doc slammed a clipboard down, muttering about having a plan. The camera followed him outside, where he stopped at the Cobra Kai dojo. He stared at the massive cobra emblem painted on the wall, eyes wide like he’d just found the missing piece of his blueprint. Fade out.

Match 2: Nikki Bella vs. Tiffany Stratton

This one had intensity from the start.

Tiffany showed off with cartwheels and handsprings, mocking Nikki with her “center of the universe” act.

Nikki answered with pure grit—forearms, a spinebuster, and her fearless attitude shining through.

Stratton’s Prettiest Moonsault Ever connected, but Nikki barely kicked out.

The crowd roared when Nikki hit the Rack Attack 2.0 for the victory.

Winner: Nikki Bella

Post-Match Chaos:

Just as Nikki was catching her breath, Pete the Ref stormed down the aisle with purpose, pointing straight at her. The tension built—until the glass shattered. PC Coach, Steve Austin emerged to a thunderous ovation, marched straight past Nikki, and confronted Pete.

Without a word, Austin kicked Pete in the gut and delivered a Stone Cold Stunner that sent the referee bouncing across the mat. The building exploded, fans chanting “Austin! Austin!” Nikki looked half-shocked, half-amused, before leaving Austin to celebrate with a couple of cold ones.

Closing Segment

The show ended away from the arena. At a gritty local gym, Zen Hogan was finishing reps when Flex Fuller arrived, clipboard in hand. He slid the document across the bench press like it was a deal with the devil.

Hogan wiped sweat from his brow, eyes narrowing as he read the stipulations.

The contract declared:

Zen Hogan must defend the Evolve Championship against Braun Strowman at Crown Jewel: Perth, on the Kickoff Show.

The camera zoomed in on Hogan’s face as he clenched his jaw. No words spoken—just the silent tension of a champion realizing the mountain he’s about to climb. Zen grabbed his tree of life penant necklace. Fade to black.

Commentary: Wade Barrett (play-by-play) & Pat McAfee (color)

Opening Segment – Gunther Calls Out The Rock

The arena is silent except for the sound of Gunther’s boots hitting the mat as he stands in the spotlight.

Gunther: “The Rock calls himself the People’s Champion. I am not here for people—I am here for dominance. Crown Jewel, Perth… Rock, I will break you, and the WWE Championship will belong to the Ring General.”

Wade Barrett: “Gunther doesn’t mince words. That’s a direct shot across The Rock’s bow.”

Pat McAfee: “I’ll say it—Gunther might be the one guy alive scary enough to make The Rock think twice about picking up a mic.”

Backstage – The Judgment Day

Rhea Ripley: “It’s not often you get to say you’re blessed in this business. But with this shot at the Women’s Championship… I feel blessed.”

Dom (staring at her): “You’re more than blessed—you’re untouchable, Mami.”

Their eyes lock. Priest and Bálor exchange smirks, while JD mutters: “Do they even know we’re here?”

Pat McAfee: “Dom looks like a middle school kid writing ‘Mrs. Ripley’ in his notebook right now.”

Wade Barrett: “Trust me, that only leads to heartbreak.”

Match 1 – Mistico vs. Austin Theory

Bell Rings – Theory backs Mistico to the corner, flexing and laughing. Mistico ducks a punch, explodes out with rapid kicks to the legs, then hits a springboard headscissors!

Wade Barrett: “That’s the speed and precision Mistico’s bringing to WWE!”

Pat McAfee: “Theory’s head’s still spinning—he looks like he just got off a tilt-a-whirl!”

Mistico hits a springboard corkscrew plancha to the floor, crowd explodes. Theory answers by slamming him into the apron and landing a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker.

Wade Barrett: “Textbook strength from Theory. He’s grounding the high flyer—smart strategy.”

Pat McAfee: “Smart, but also boring. I wanna see Mistico fly again!”

Back inside, Theory goes for A-Town Down, but Mistico flips out and rolls him up tight—1, 2, 3!

Winner: Mistico (9:47, roll-up)

Crowd cheers wildly! Suddenly, Back to the Future theme hits. Doc Brown comes out in a Cobra Kai shirt.

Doc Brown: “Místico! Monday night, you’re gonna be shown… NO MERCY!”

Pat McAfee (laughing): “WHAT IS HAPPENING?! Doc Brown just went Cobra Kai on us!”

Wade Barrett: “This place has lost its mind!”

Parking Lot –

Jesse Ventura: “I’ve been in wars before, brother, and Cena’s not gonna—”

BOOM! Cena blindsides him, slamming him into a production truck.

Wade Barrett: “Good grief! Cena’s snapped!”

Pat McAfee: “That’s a champ unloading on a old man! Somebody call security before we get an international incident!”

Cena lifts Ventura onto a car hood, AA through the windshield!

Cena: “It’s still my time!”

Match 2 – Naomi vs. Nikki Bella

Bell Rings – Nikki powers Naomi down early, flexing. Naomi pops up, cartwheels past her, then dropkicks Nikki clean out of the ring.

Pat McAfee: “Naomi’s glowing tonight! She’s moving like a video game cheat code.”

Naomi leaps with a springboard crossbody to the floor. Nikki recovers, hitting an Alabama Slam into the barricade.

Wade Barrett: “That’ll knock the wind right out of you. Naomi’s in trouble.”

Back inside, Nikki tries for the Rack Attack, but Naomi slips out, bounces off the ropes, Rear View! Crowd erupts. Naomi heads up—split-legged moonsault!

Winner: Naomi (11:03, pinfall)

Pat McAfee: “Naomi’s got the glow, and tonight, she’s got the W!”

Wade Barrett: “That’s a statement win against  Nikki Bella.”

Video Segment – Goldberg’s Training Montage

Goldberg trains in a mock Hart Dungeon to the Rocky theme.

Destroys cinder blocks with Bret Hart’s face painted on them.

Spears a heavy bag off its chain.

Bench-presses a refrigerator.

In the corner: a shrine with candles and the Owen Hart Memorial Championship. Goldberg bows.

Pat McAfee (laughing): “He’s training like he’s about to fight a dragon, not another wrestler!”

Wade Barrett: “It’s ridiculous, it’s over the top.”

Main Event – Roman Reigns vs. Flex Fuller

Bell Rings – Roman bullies Fuller, tossing him across the ring. Fuller surprises with a running knee, then a flying clothesline for a two-count!

Pat McAfee: “Flex just flexed on the Tribal Chief!”

Wade Barrett: “Don’t get too excited—Roman’s just letting him tire himself out.”

Fuller tries a spinebuster—two count! The crowd gasps. Roman fires up, lands a Superman Punch, then locks in the Guillotine choke. Fuller fights but taps out.

Winner: Roman Reigns (12:29, submission)

Post-Match – The Bloodline Implodes

Solo and The Usos storm the ring. For a moment, it looks like they’re backing Roman up—then BAM! They pounce, stomping him down.

Jimmy Uso: “We’re done being in your shadow, Uce! The Bloodline’s DEAD!”

Pat McAfee: “OH MY GOD! They just turned on Roman!”

The beatdown continues until—

Jon Moxley’s music hits!

The crowd explodes as Moxley storms through the crowd with a chair.

He wipes out The Usos, brawls with Solo, and clears the ring!!!

Roman pulls himself up, locking eyes with Moxley.

They stare down, tense… then give each other a small nod.

Wade Barrett: “Unbelievable! Roman Reigns and Jon Moxley standing together! I can’t believe my eyes!”

Pat McAfee: “The Bloodline may be dead, but what is this?! Friday night  will never be the same again!”

Roman and Moxley stand tall as the show fades out.

WWE RAW SUPERSHOW RESULTS

August 25, 2025 – Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Commentary: Wade Barrett, Booker T, and Pat McAfee

Opening Segment – Backstage: Roman Reigns & Jon Moxley

The show opens backstage in a dimly lit locker room. Roman Reigns sits on a bench, championship aura, while Jon Moxley paces back and forth.

Roman Reigns: “People have been calling us enemies, rivals, brothers torn apart. That ends tonight. When Mox and I are united, no force in this industry can stop us.”

Jon Moxley: “We’ve bled together, we’ve fought each other, but now we’re standing side by side. The APA think they’re tough? Crown Jewel in Perth—we’ll prove we’re tougher. We’ll take those Tag Team Titles… and we’ll rewrite history as the greatest team the world’s ever seen.”

The two shake hands, sealing their alliance.

Booker T: “Da game just changed, man! APA got themselves a REAL fight comin’ in Australia!”

Barrett: “Moxley and Reigns together!”

Match 1: Mistico vs. Rey Mysterio

A dream lucha encounter opens the in-ring action. The crowd is on their feet as Mistico and Rey exchange lightning-fast counters, springboards, and breathtaking dives.

Mistico nails a running Spanish Fly for a near-fall.

Rey hits a 619, but Mistico dodges the follow-up splash and locks in La Mistica for the tap-out victory in a classic.

Winner: Mistico

But suddenly, the arena goes dark. A familiar 80s tune hits—“You’re the Best” blares through the speakers! The lights come up and… it’s Johnny Lawrence!

He storms the ring, hits Mistico with a brutal spinning back kick, and plants him with a Cobra Clutch Slam.

Then—Doc Brown walks down clapping, yelling: “Great Scott! I’ve brought him back! Johnny Lawrence is here to take your Intercontinental Championship at Crown Jewel, Mistico!”

McAfee: “ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! We’ve gone back in time for Johnny freakin’ Lawrence!”

Booker T: “Tell me I did not just see that…”

Match 2: United States Championship – Buddy Murphy vs. Finn Bálor

(Stipulation: Dom, Damian, and JD banned from ringside)

This one shocks everyone. Finn fights valiantly, but without Judgment Day backing him, Buddy Murphy proves too fast and too hungry.

Finn attempts Coup de Grace, but Murphy counters into a running knee strike.

Murphy delivers Murphy’s Law and scores the pin!

Winner and NEW United States Champion: Buddy Murphy

After the match, Murphy grabs the mic:

“Rhea—you’re coming with me. We’re celebrating this together.”

The camera catches Rhea Ripley at ringside, conflicted. She hesitates, but ultimately walks up the ramp with Murphy. The crowd gasps.

Barrett: “Unbelievable! Murphy not only dethrones Bálor—he’s shaken the entire Judgment Day foundation! Dom and Murphy in Perth won’t just be for Rhea, it will be for the United States Championship!”

Booker T: “This is drama, dawg. Pure drama. Shucky Ducky (something incoherent) quack splat.”

Match 3: Gunther vs. John Cena

A colossal showdown. Cena gets “Let’s Go Cena / Cena Sucks” chants, while Gunther is stoic as ever.

Cena tries for the AA, but Gunther counters into a massive powerbomb.

Cena rallies with the Five Knuckle Shuffle and locks in the STF, but Gunther refuses to tap.

In the end, Gunther hits a devastating lariat followed by a top-rope splash to secure the clean pin.

Winner: Gunther

McAfee: “John Cena gave everything he had… but Gunther is on another level right now.”

Barrett: “Gunther may just be the greatest in-ring competitor alive today. The Rock is in trouble at Perth.”

Main Event: Jesse Ventura vs. The Rock

The crowd is electric.

Ventura channels his 80s flair, jawing at Rock and throwing surprisingly crisp elbows.

Rock hits the Spinebuster and sets up for the People’s Elbow, but Ventura dodges and locks in a sleeper.

In a shocking twist, Ventura plants Rock with the Akrocrane and covers for the three-count!

Winner: Jesse Ventura

Booker T: “Aw man, Ventura got it done! Can you dig that, sucka?!”

McAfee: “The Body just beat the Great One! If this would have been for the title, Rock’s historic reign would be done. Will Jesse defeat Cena to become a 25 time World Champion at Crown Jewel?”

Closing Segment – Goldberg at the Cemetery

The broadcast cuts to a graveyard at night. Goldberg is kneeling in front of a tombstone that bizarrely reads:

“Here lies two Canadian morons – Owen & Bret Hart.”

He’s sobbing uncontrollably while softly singing “Dust in the Wind.”

The camera keeps panning out to reveal Goldberg has brought:

A boombox playing a karaoke track.

A bouquet of Tim Hortons donuts instead of flowers.

And he keeps forgetting the lyrics mid-song, muttering: “Uh… all we are is dust… in the… uh… sneeze? No, wait…”

At one point, he tries to “spear” the tombstone, but knocks himself out cold. The credits roll as a confused groundskeeper shakes his head, muttering: “I hate this job…”

Booker T: “This fool’s lost his mind, dawg!”

McAfee: “Greatest Raw ending of all time. Hands down.”

Barrett: [laughing] “I have absolutely no words for this.”

✅ Show Closes.
