Opening Sit-Down Interview: Jesse Ventura

The night begins with a pre-taped sit-down featuring former EVOLVE Champion Jesse Ventura. When asked about his upcoming clash with John Cena at Crown Jewel: Perth—and the chance to tie Slammu’s all-time 25 World Championship reigns—Ventura is blunt.

> “The record’s cool, but truth be told, Slammu and I already carved our names into stone. That number? Nobody’s ever going to touch it. Cena’s standing in my way, and at Perth, I’m taking what belongs to me.”

The tone is sharp, direct, and sets the stakes high for Crown Jewel.

Contract Signing!

A black carpet and steel table are set up in the ring. NXT North American Champion Carmelo Hayes struts out first, oozing confidence, and wastes no time tearing into his challenger.

> “HBP, you’ve got more rust on you than a coin from the Civil War. I’m not scared of your history—I’m writing mine.”

HBP signs the contract calmly, almost amused.

> “Rust or not, Melo, memories outlast hype. And next Tuesday, I’ll be your most painful reminder.”

Security tightens as the two men rise from their chairs, glaring inches from each other before the segment closes.

Opening Contest: Tony D’Angelo vs. Kalisto

Kalisto starts hot, peppering Tony with blistering kicks and a springboard crossbody that sends Tony rolling to the floor. Kalisto follows with a suicide dive, crashing into Tony and firing up the crowd.

Back inside, Kalisto nearly steals it early with a tight roll-up and later the Salida del Sol, but Tony gets his foot on the rope at the last second. Frustrated, Kalisto heads to the top rope for a moonsault, but Tony meets him with a headbutt and a thunderous superplex that shakes the ring.

From there, the Don takes control—spinebuster, corner clotheslines, and a vicious snap neckbreaker. He hoists Kalisto up and plants him with the Fuhgeddaboudit Slam for the emphatic three-count.

Winner: Tony D’Angelo

 “Breakfast at Goldberg’s”

Inside Goldberg’s kitchen, Bill eats cereal with his son, Gage. Out of nowhere, he dials 911, muttering about calling the police on Bret Hart.

Gage stares in disbelief. Goldberg growls:

> “I saw a picture of Bret with a young African American girl online. He’s not getting away with this.”

His son sighs, “Dad, that’s literally Bret’s wife.”

Goldberg slams the phone down, wide-eyed:

> “Doesn’t matter. He’s in the Epstein files.”

Cue awkward silence and his son burying his face in his hands as the skit cuts to black.

Match #2: Andre Chase vs Chavo Guerrero

Chavo Guerrero tries to outsmart Andre Chase early, baiting him with chain wrestling before blindsiding him with a cheap shot. Chavo works the leg methodically—dropkicks to the knee, grapevines, and even slamming Chase’s leg against the post.

Every time Chase rallies, Chavo cuts him off, at one point hitting the Three Amigos suplexes for a close near fall. The Chase U student section keeps the energy alive, chanting and stomping. Chase feeds off it, breaking free with a series of right hands and a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker.

Chavo rakes the eyes and goes for the Frog Splash, but Chase rolls away. Fired up, Chase hits the Frat Line running kick flush to Chavo’s jaw and collapses onto him for the pin.

Winner: Andre Chase

Doc Brown’s “D.I.C.E.” Recruitment

A recruitment center is set up with a cheesy banner: D.I.C.E. – Doc’s Immigration Customs Enforcement. Doc Brown explains he’s starting a stable to “legally deport the Intercontinental Championship off Mistico’s waist.”

Applicants wander in—Elijah comes in first and claims Doc should pick him since he was in one of Doc’s stables before. Doc looks confused and says that he had a guy called Elias but not Elijah. Another is a cowboy claiming he’s “half Canadian”. Doc says that is dumber than someone from Virginia claiming to be a cowboy. Finally, a mime who won’t answer any of Doc’s questions. Doc grows more frustrated by the minute, yelling:

> “None of you can get the job done! Where are my real enforcers?!”

The skit ends with him storming out, vowing to “find the perfect recruits.”

Main Event: NXT Championship Triple Threat

Karrion Kross (c) vs. Trick Williams vs. Ethan Page

The atmosphere is big-fight from the start. Kross stalks both challengers, hurling Williams with a release German suplex and flooring Page with a stiff lariat. For the first five minutes, it’s all Kross—every time Trick or Page builds momentum, he bulldozes through them.

Page changes the rhythm by chopping out Kross’s knee, then hitting a flying shoulder block off the apron. Trick joins in, the two briefly teaming to plant Kross through the announce desk with a double suplex.

Inside, it’s Trick vs. Page. Trick gets a close two-count off a big spinebuster. Page fires back with the Ego’s Edge attempt, but Trick wriggles free and nails the Trick Shot knee—only for Kross to yank the referee’s leg to break the count.

Kross storms back in, locking Page in the Kross Jacket. Page flails, fading… until Trick superkicks both men out of desperation. Page tumbles to the floor, Kross staggers, and Trick rallies. The crowd is deafening as Trick counters a Doomsday Saito into another Trick Shot. He dives onto Kross for the cover—

1… 2… 3!

Winner and NEW NXT Champion: Trick Williams

Confetti rains, the student section storms the ringside area, and Trick stands tall, raising the championship high as Kross seethes at ringside and Page shakes his head in disbelief. NXT closes with Trick holding his first-ever NXT Championship, the crowd chanting his name.
