SHOW OPENS – BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW WITH KARRION KROSS
Karrion Kross is seen pacing back and forth in a darkened locker room, Scarlett standing stoically behind him. The camera zooms in as McKenzie Mitchell cautiously steps forward for an interview.
Kross (snarling):
“You think this is what NXT needs? Trick Williams? A loudmouth? A walking billboard for mediocrity? Trick didn’t build this place… he doesn’t belong here. He’s not a killer—he’s a clown in gold chains.”
Kross turns to the camera, his eyes intense.
“He may fool the crowd with charisma, but I see through the act. He left the playground, now he’s in the jungle. And in my jungle, Trick… gets hunted.”
Scarlett leans in, whispering something in his ear as the segment fades into static…

MATCH #1: Carmelo Hayes vs. Angel Garza
🔥 High-energy opener
Match Highlights:
Angel Garza enters first to a solid pop, playing up his new Latino Heat-style bravado. He rips off his tearaway pants mid-ramp, striking a pose.
Carmelo Hayes, to a loud ovation, walks out with confidence and a chip on his shoulder. Booker T remarks, “That boy Melo always shoots, and tonight, he’s aiming for legacy.”
This was a match filled with aerial attacks, counters, and rope-running wizardry. Melo hits a springboard reverse DDT that pops the crowd, but Garza answers with a picture-perfect missile dropkick.
They trade chops mid-ring—“WOOO!” from the crowd—and Garza hits a moonsault to the outside, narrowly beating the count back in.
Finish: Garza goes for the Wing Clipper, but Hayes counters mid-air into Nothing But Net (top-rope leg drop), securing the 1-2-3.
Winner: Carmelo Hayes via pinfall (13:04)
Aftermath: Hayes celebrates but eyes the camera intensely. He mouths, “I want the gold.”

BACKSTAGE SEGMENT – APA’S CARD GAME WITH HEARTBREAK PUNK
We’re backstage in a dimly lit room with cigar smoke and country blues playing softly. Ron Simmons and JBL are seated at a poker table with beers, chips stacked high. Sitting with them is a ridiculously out-of-place Heartbreak Punk.
JBL (grinning):
“Kid, you sure you wanna bet that earring? This ain’t no Hot Topic.”
Heartbreak Punk (slurring):
“It’s… my lucky… charm, bruh.”
Ron Simmons just shakes his head. There are like eight empty beer bottles in front of Heartbreak Punk, and his hair is somehow getting taller as he drinks.
Simmons (laughing):
“You’re drunker than a goose on payday.”
Suddenly — WHAM! The Street Profits burst into the room! Montez Ford launches JBL through the card table with a flying forearm while Dawkins spinebusters Ron Simmons into the wall!
Montez Ford (grabbing the camera):
“APA! You paved the road… but WE got the keys to drive that road baby!”
Angelo Dawkins:
“We makin’ y’all famous… at SummerSlam!”
The camera cuts out just as Heartbreak Punk tips over, still holding one playing card and mumbling “uno…”

Chase U (Andre Chase & Duke Hudson) vs. The D’Angelo Family (Tony D’Angelo & Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo)
🎓 A spirited but morale-testing performance
Match Highlights:
Duke looks unsure as Andre walks out waving a foam finger to boost support, Andre is full of manic enthusiasm.
Tony D and Stacks play to the crowd with exaggerated Italian mobster energy — Tony even tosses an imaginary pizza to Booker at the announce table, who eats it like it’s real.
The early moments are technical and scrappy. Chase U shows flashes of cohesion, with double dropkicks and crowd chants of “CHAAAAAAAASE U!”
Stacks plays dirty with a poke to Duke’s eye, followed by a neckbreaker.
Finish: Tony D catches Andre mid-top-rope dive into the Forget About It (sit-out spinebuster) and pins him clean.
Aftermath:
Tony D’Angelo grabs a mic:
“NXT is our neighborhood now. Anybody who steps in our turf? They gonna end up like Chase U — flat on their backs! Tell HBP to grab the car! We’re outta here!”
Chase lays in the ring while Duke helps him up. They try to smile but the crowd gives a sympathetic round of applause.

FINAL SEGMENT: MYSTERIOUS LIGHTS & A FINAL WARNING
Just before the show fades, a cryptic vignette airs. Thunder rolls. A voice speaks in Latin. A candle flickers. Then, a card flips onscreen…
🃏 It’s a Joker card — but half-burned, revealing Karrion Kross’ face underneath.
Voiceover (Kross):
“Trick Williams made a choice… now I make mine.”
