Show Kickoff: A Clip from “Life and Legacy with Mr. Murrey”
SmackDown opened with a hilarious sneak peek at the latest episode of the hit reality show Life and Legacy with Mr. Murrey. In this scene, Mr. Murrey hosted a truly bizarre — yet somehow heartwarming — ceremony with his special guest: none other than BABY Billy (yes, that Baby Billy from The Righteous Gemstones), flown in just for the occasion.
BABY Billy, in an overly flashy tuxedo, officiated the wedding of referee Pete the Ref and Nikki Bella in the middle of a lavish country estate. Fireworks, a live possum choir, and an awkwardly emotional best man speech by Jesse Ventura made for surreal comedy gold.
Pat McAfee: “Bro… what did I just watch?!”
Wade Barrett: “That was the weirdest wedding I’ve ever seen — and I was once best man at a biker bar in Manchester.”
Booker T: “Tell me this, Pat! Did BABY Billy just say ‘in the eyes of God and the McMahon’s?!”

Segment: Triple H Announces the New GM of EVOLVE & NXT
From the sleek, glass-walled WWE CEO Office, Triple H addressed the WWE Universe.
> “With the success of our global developmental system and the birth of EVOLVE, we need a visionary at the helm. Someone who’s been there from day one… Someone with authority, experience — and most of all, passion. That’s why I’m proud to announce that the new General Manager of EVOLVE and NXT is…
Stephanie McMahon Levesque!”
Stephanie stepped in, glowing with confidence. She addressed the WWE Universe, promising to elevate the next generation of Superstars and make the two brands “the proving ground for legends to come.”

Match: John Cena vs. Dominik Mysterio
John Cena made a thunderous entrance to a sold-out Nashville crowd. Dominik Mysterio, flanked by JD McDonagh and Finn Bálor, walked in to deafening boos.
Match Highlights:
Cena used his veteran power game to shut down Dom early, hitting a shoulder tackle and Five Knuckle Shuffle within minutes.
Dom managed to regain momentum with help from the outside; JD distracted the ref while Finn hit a cheap shot.
Dom hit a beautiful Frog Splash, but Cena kicked out at 2.9.
Cena rallied back, countering a 619 attempt with an STF. Dom barely reached the ropes.
Cena finally landed an Attitude Adjustment from the second rope for the 1-2-3!
Winner: Cena by pinfall
After the Match: Just as Cena raised his hand in victory, the Judgment Day stormed the ring — led by Rhea Ripley. JD, Finn, and Rhea began a 3-on-1 assault, stomping Cena into the canvas.
Cena escaped, bloodied and exhausted, crawling up the ramp… only to be met by the shocking return of:
🎤 DAMIEN PRIEST!
Priest stepped into view, staring daggers at the Judgment Day. He extended a hand to Cena… who looked up cautiously, unsure what to make of it as the crowd exploded with chants of “Welcome back!”
Then Priest laid Cena out with a South of Heaven!
Booker T: “Dawg, Priest is BACK! Judgment Day is more dangerous than ever!”

Backstage Interview: Roman Reigns Calls Out Jon Moxley
Backstage with Kayla Braxton, a brooding Roman Reigns spoke directly into the camera:
> “I’ve fought champions. I’ve smashed legends. But one ghost still lingers — Mox. You think I forgot what you did? You abandon my offer of friendship… but you never left my shadow. So how about we settle this?
No Holds Barred. No escape. No rules. You and me, Jon Moxley. At the next PLE.
Let’s find out who runs this.”

Main Event: Chad Gable (w/ Doc Brown) vs. Kalisto vs. Gran Metalik
Doc Brown — accompanied Chad Gable to the ring, shouting things like “We’ve calculated the perfect victory scenario, Marty!”
Match Highlights:
The luchadores Kalisto and Metalik dazzled with high-flying tandem offense.
Gable used mat wrestling to ground both men, even catching Kalisto mid-air with a suplex into an ankle lock.
With the ref distracted by Doc shouting “Great Scott Cone!” from the apron, Gable low-blowed Kalisto and rolled up Metalik with a handful of tights.
After the Match: As Gable and Doc celebrated in the ring — complete with confetti and what looked like a flux capacitor trophy — the lights dimmed.
🎭 Mistico appeared from the crowd and rushed the ring, leveling Gable with a spinning hurricanrana and standing tall over him.
Wade Barrett: “Mistico just sent a message! Chad Gable’s games won’t go unanswered!”
Pat McAfee: “Is this real? Is this time travel lucha warfare now?!”

The APA bulldozed Lucha House Party early, but the luchadors fought back with dazzling aerial offense. JBL caught Dorado mid-air with a huge shoulder block. Gran Metalik hit a springboard elbow on Simmons, but a blind tag set up the finish.
ENDING SEQUENCE: JBL tagged in, ducked a moonsault, and drilled Metalik with the Clothesline from Hell for the three.
