Opening Segment – APA Meets the Street Profits
The show kicks off backstage with the APA (Bradshaw & Ron Simmons) in a makeshift poker room, drinking beer and throwing cards. The WWE Tag Team Champions The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) walk in with big smiles and some good-natured banter.
Ron Simmons hits his iconic “DAMN!” line, but Montez sarcastically responds with, “You know Ron, you kinda sounding like an Uncle Tom.”
Bradshaw, without missing a beat, looks shocked and blurts out, “Hey! I take offense to that! I have an Uncle Tom… and he only has three toes!”
As the Profits turn to leave, the APA blindside them! Clotheslines, barstools, and poker chips fly everywhere. The tag champs are left laid out as the APA laugh and toast each other with beers.
Match 1: Powerhouse Hobbs & Brian Cage (Flex Squad) vs. A-Town Down Under
In a hard-hitting opener, Powerhouse Hobbs and Brian Cage, representing the Flex Squad, dominate early with raw power. Austin Theory and Grayson Waller attempt to outmaneuver their larger opponents, relying on tag chemistry and cheap tactics.
The tide shifts when Flex Fuller and legend Lex Luger appear ringside, causing a major distraction. Luger delivers a surprise forearm shot to Waller using his loaded “steel-plated” arm. Hobbs capitalizes with a massive spinebuster on Theory for the 1-2-3.
Winners: Hobbs & Cage via Pinfall
Barrett: “Flex Squad making major moves with a legend like Luger in their corner!”
McAfee: “Cage and Hobbs just flexed all over A-Town Down Under!”
Match 2: Jon Moxley vs. Jey Uso
Moxley makes his Raw in ring debut to a huge pop and collides with Jey in a chaotic brawl. Chairs, barricades, and stiff shots dominate this street-fight-style matchup. The crowd is split—“YEET!” chants battling with Moxley’s loyal fans.
Late in the match, Jey hits a superkick followed by a Uso Splash, but the lights flicker. Finn Bálor appears from the crowd and shoves Jey off the top rope, behind the ref’s back. Moxley seizes the moment and hits Death Rider for the win.
Winner: Jon Moxley via Pinfall
After the bell, Moxley looks baffled at Bálor, who stares him down from the ramp. Judgment Day helping Moxley? Mox shakes his head, unsure what game is being played.
Booker T: “Moxley don’t need help… but Finn ain’t doing charity.”
McAfee: “This could get real weird, real fast.”
NXT Preview Segment – Tomorrow Night on NXT!
A slick vignette airs hyping Karrion Kross vs. Carmelo Hayes for the NXT Championship. Commentary notes that Hayes was drafted from World of Wrestling Draft (WOW) and has quickly earned a title shot.
Narrator: “Tomorrow night, prophecy meets purpose. Karrion Kross defends his empire against the high-flying phenomenon… Carmelo Hayes. Will Kross conquer again, or is Melo truly HIM?”
Main Event: John Cena Open Challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship
John Cena comes out to a thunderous ovation, sporting the World Heavyweight Championship. He grabs a mic and issues an open challenge: “Any WWE superstar who wants this gold, come take your shot.”
Suddenly…
“DAAA… DAHHH… DUNNNNN!”
Roman Reigns’ music hits. The crowd erupts. The Tribal Chief walks out slowly, eyes locked on Cena.
Just as Roman reaches the ring apron…
BAM! Finn Bálor leaps over the barricade for the second time tonight with a steel chair. JD McDonagh and Dominik Mysterio follow, ambushing Roman in a 3-on-1 assault.
Roman is overwhelmed and beaten to a bloody mess. They throw him into the steel steps, then the post, then across the announce table. Balor hits the Coup de Grâce from the top of the barricade, right to Roman’s chest. Blood spills onto the floor.
Cena stays in the ring, not intervening, visibly shocked. He picks up his title and watches Judgment Day standing tall over Roman’s crumpled body.
No Contest – Judgment Day Assaults Roman Reigns
Final Shot:
Cena stares down Judgment Day, the crowd stunned into silence. Roman lies motionless. Balor smirks.
Barrett: “What just happened?! Judgment Day just robbed us of a dream match!”
McAfee: “Cena wanted a fight… but now, he’s got a war on his hands.”

WWE NXT RESULTS – July 8, 2025
Location: Center Stage Theatre, Atlanta, GA
Commentary Team: Mick Foley & Eric Bischoff
BACKSTAGE: Catering
We open the night with a comedic yet bittersweet segment. The Hurricane, decked out in his classic green superhero garb, is proudly giving a “Catering Orientation” to none other than HBP – The Heart Break Punk.
The Hurricane is animated, flinging tater tots into his mouth between sentences.
Hurricane: “See, HBP, setting up catering is more than just trays of meatballs. It’s a responsibility… a glorious one! This is where champions are made, brother!”
HBP, wearing a faded leather vest and looking weathered, forces a chuckle. But as he stares at the steaming tray of lukewarm mashed potatoes, reality hits — his days in the spotlight are truly over.
Foley (on commentary): “That catering tray looks like the last piece of his dreams…”
Bischoff: “Hey, mashed potatoes are still better than mashed egos.”
MATCH 1: “All Ego” Ethan Page vs. Santos Escobar
A strong debut for Ethan Page, who came out to a mix of boos and confused cheers. Dressed in his signature black-and-white gear, Page strutted to the ring, mic in hand:
Page: “You’re not watching NXT anymore. You’re watching the Ego Era.”
Escobar, always smooth and dangerous, countered Page’s aggression early with a flurry of lucha-influenced offense — a topé suicida and a springboard hurricanrana lighting up the crowd.
Midway, Page slowed the pace, working Escobar’s midsection with stiff knees and a backbreaker into the turnbuckle. Escobar fought back with a Phantom Driver attempt, but Page countered with a thumb to the eye (missed by the ref) and nailed the Ego’s Edge for the win.
Result: Ethan Page def. Santos Escobar via Ego’s Edge (Pinfall)
Bischoff: “Ethan Page just made a statement!”
Foley: “It wasn’t pretty, but it was effective — and that’s wrestling, folks.”
BACKSTAGE: Chase U “Career Counseling”
We cut to a small classroom plastered in red and black banners reading “CHASE U – Where Hard Work Pays Off!”
Andre Chase and Duke Hudson stand before HBP, who’s sitting with slumped shoulders. Chase is animated and pointing at a chalkboard titled: “The Janitor’s Code.”
Chase: “Being a janitor is not a step down. It’s a pivot! You think The Rock never mopped a floor? I DID!”
Hudson (nods): “Damn right, professor.”
Suddenly, the door swings open. The D’Angelo Family — Tony D’Angelo and Stacks Lorenzo — stroll in wearing custom suits and sunglasses indoors.
Tony D: “Look, paisan. Mopping ain’t bad. But how about a gig that doesn’t involve pine-scented chemicals?”
Stacks: “We need a driver. Someone loyal. Someone… desperate.”
HBP looks between them. Chase pleads silently. HBP lowers his head.
HBP: “Guess I always had a thing for Cadillacs…”
He follows the D’Angelos out, leaving Chase U speechless.
Bischoff: “Looks like he just took the midnight ride to the wrong side of town.”
Foley: “He’s got one last ride left… but where’s it going?”
Trick Williams Promo Hype Package
Trick: “If Kross thinks this is his kingdom, he better check who’s building castles around here real soon.”
MAIN EVENT: NXT Championship Match
Karrion Kross (c) w/ Scarlett vs. Carmelo Hayes
Big-fight feel as Hayes came out with new black-and-gold tights and focused energy. Kross was as menacing as ever, Scarlett at his side.
Hayes used his agility early to frustrate the champion. A springboard leg drop and Fadeaway leg lariat got close near-falls.
Kross responded with brute force — multiple Saito suplexes and a devastating lariat that turned Hayes inside out.
Late in the match, Hayes hit Nothing But Net (top-rope leg drop), but Scarlett pulled Kross’s leg onto the ropes.
As the referee John Cone dealt with her, Scarlett raked Hayes’s eyes behind the ref’s back. Kross capitalized with the Doomsday Saito and followed with The Final Prayer (running forearm to the back of the head) for the win.
Bischoff: “Scarlett may not wear the gold, but she protects it!”
Foley: “Hayes was robbed. No other word for it.”
Result: Kross def. Hayes (Pinfall after interference from Scarlett)
SHOW END: Trick Williams Appears on Screen
As Kross holds up the title, Trick returns to the screen, slow-clapping. Their eyes lock.
Bischoff: “Trick’s got next. And Kross knows it.”

WWE EVOLVE RESULTS – JULY 9, 2025
Location: WWE Performance Center, Orlando, FL
Commentary: Robert Stone & Wade Barrett
Opening Video Package: The Rock vs. Brock Lesnar – Saturday Night Main Event, July 12
🔥 Opening Segment: A Champion’s Welcome
The show opens with an emotional video package showcasing the rivalry between The Rock and Brock Lesnar — clips from Starrcade, intercut with the contract signing hyping their clash at Saturday Night Main Event.
Moments later, the Women’s World Champion Naomi makes her entrance to a thunderous ovation. Dressed in green glow attire, she enters the ring with confidence.
Naomi:
“This isn’t just the Performance Center — this is the future of our business. And in that future, women aren’t just part of the show… we are the show. EVOLVE is our playground, our proving ground, and I’m proud to carry this title into the next era.”
Naomi then joins Robert Stone and Wade Barrett at the commentary desk for the opening contest.
đź’Ą Match #1: Tiffany Stratton vs. Sonya Deville
Tiffany Stratton made her long-anticipated debut in grand fashion, wearing a shimmering pink and white ensemble. Sonya Deville welcomed her to the brand with stiff strikes and MMA-style aggression.
Naomi praised both women during commentary, highlighting the depth of the women’s division.
The match saw near-falls from both competitors. Deville locked in a guillotine choke, but Tiffany powered out and hit a rolling moonsault back elbow, followed by her devastating Starship Stratton corkscrew splash for the win.
Wade Barrett: “The Buff Barbie has arrived… and she’s gunning for Naomi!”
Tiffany motions to the title on commentary after the match, signaling her ambitions. Is it Tiffy Time?
🎠Backstage Segment: APA Poker Night – EVOLVE Style
Backstage, we find Bradshaw and Ron Simmons of the APA seated at a poker table, beers in hand, joined by The D’Angelo Family — Tony D and Stacks Lorenzo. The room smells like cigars and egos.
Suddenly, the doors swing open and in walks Chad Gable, dressed like a midwest math teacher, alongside a frazzled Doc Brown (yes, from Back to the Future), who’s muttering about quantum probabilities of winning with a 2–7 offsuit.
Everyone who enters throws their jackets on HBP – The Heart Break Punk, who stands silently in the corner being used as a coat rack, visibly miserable.
Tony D’Angelo:
“Hey, ya wear eyeliner and tights, you’re practically furniture in this family.”
Chad Gable slams down a royal flush, yelling “SHOOSH PLEASE!” as Doc Brown yells “Great Scott!” and scribbles something about time-traveling to a USWA match in 19 clickity clack clack.
🎤 Backstage Segment: Morrison Trashes Jesse Ventura
Backstage, John Morrison cuts a scathing promo ahead of tonight’s triple threat main event:
Morrison:
“Tonight I claim what’s mine: the EVOLVE World Championship. Elijah is just a blip on the radar, and Jesse Ventura? A 73-year-old fossil with a reindeer fetish and delusions of grandeur. The only thing he should be wrestling with is how to find his dentures.”
He smirks and adjusts his sequined jacket before walking off.
🏆 MAIN EVENT – EVOLVE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
Triple Threat: Jesse “The Body” Ventura vs. John Morrison vs. Elijah
An absolutely electric main event that blended nostalgia, athleticism, and surprise.
Morrison dominated early with parkour offense, launching into a corkscrew plancha onto both opponents outside. Elijah countered with pure brute force, hitting a Spinebuster on Morrison and nearly pinning him.
But it was Jesse Ventura, complete with boa, colorful gear, and unmatched charisma, who stole the show. He hit Morrison with a “Body Breaker” clothesline, knocking him senseless. Elijah tried to interfere but got dumped outside after a sneaky low bridge from Jesse.
With Morrison staggering, Jesse delivered a devastating Ackro Krane — 1, 2, 3!
Jesse Ventura is the inaugural EVOLVE World Champion – and a 24-TIME WORLD CHAMPION!!
Robert Stone (shocked): “He did it! The man defied age, gravity, and Morrison’s ego!”
Wade Barrett: “I don’t believe what I’ve just seen — Jesse Ventura has done the impossible! EVOLVE belongs to The Body!”
🎉 Final Shot:
Confetti rains from above. Jesse holds the EVOLVE World Title high, pointing to the heavens. Elijah glares from ringside. Morrison throws a tantrum, kicking the ropes.
Naomi walks onto the ramp, holding her title, and shares a respectful nod with Jesse — a touching generational moment… EVOLVE has truly begun.
