The stage is set for a hard-hitting, no-nonsense clash for the NXT North American Championship. The powerhouse Bronson Reed faces the gritty and calculating Baron Corbin, both men looking to prove their dominance in the division.
From the start, Corbin brings his ruthless aggression, using his size and experience to try and break down Reed. He targets Reed’s midsection with brutal strikes and wears him down with methodical submissions. Corbin uses every dirty trick in the book, from tossing Reed into the steel steps to using the ropes for leverage during near-falls, trying to break the champion’s spirit.
However, Reed’s resilience shines through as he absorbs the punishment, using his raw power and agility to mount a comeback. At one point, Corbin attempts his signature End of Days finisher, but Reed counters with a massive spinebuster that rattles the ring. The crowd roars in support of the champion as Reed starts to gain momentum, delivering crushing strikes and high-impact moves that leave Corbin struggling to stay in the fight.

The match begins with both women feeling each other out, with Shotzi using her quickness and unorthodox style to gain the early advantage. She dazzles the crowd with a series of high-flying moves, including a suicide dive to the outside, followed by a rapid series of strikes and kicks that take LaRae by surprise. Shotzi is in full control early, bouncing around the ring with her signature energy and rebellious spirit.
However, Candace LaRae is no stranger to adversity and begins to slow the pace, using her ring awareness and crafty tactics to ground Shotzi. She utilizes underhanded methods, such as pulling on Shotzi’s hair to pull her down from the turnbuckle and using the ropes for leverage during pin attempts. LaRae’s experience and ruthlessness shine through as she targets Shotzi’s legs, aiming to take away the challenger’s speed and aerial offense.
As the match reaches its climax, Shotzi digs deep, delivering a thrilling diving crossbody from the top rope, followed by a near-fall after hitting her signature “Blackheart Bomb” (a modified sit-out powerbomb). The crowd erupts, believing Shotzi is on the verge of victory. But just as it seems like Shotzi will capture the title, LaRae counters with a sneaky roll-up, grabbing a handful of tights for leverage. The referee counts to three, and the arena is filled with boos as LaRae retains her composure, smirking at the result.
Winner: Candace LaRae (Becomes the First Women’s NXT North American Champion)

Segment: Life Imitating Art
The scene opens in a cozy, dimly lit art gallery. Soft instrumental music plays in the background, setting the vibe. Rob Van Dam and Dave Matthews are standing in front of an abstract painting, their eyes wide and glazed over, clearly in another world. Both are holding snacks—Rob with a bag of chips, Dave with a cup of coffee that’s mostly empty. They stand there for a long moment, silently staring at the colorful chaos in front of them.
Rob Van Dam: (blinking slowly, then squinting at the painting) “Dude… like, what even is this…?”
Dave Matthews: (squints, then nods thoughtfully) “I think… I think it’s, like, the reflection of our souls, man. You see how it’s, like, all over the place? It’s like… it’s everywhere at once… you know?”
Rob Van Dam: (tilting his head, then pointing at a random part of the painting) “Yeah, yeah! It’s like… this part, here, it’s totally like… I don’t know, but it feels like that one time I did a spinning kick off a table… you feel that, right?”
Dave Matthews: (eyes widening, leaning in as if he’s unraveling a cosmic truth) “Dude, yes! Exactly! It’s like a table… but not a table… and like, the spinning is like… a metaphor for… life? Like, we’re all just spinning, man, but we never really know where we’re going until we land.”
Rob Van Dam: (snaps his fingers, excitedly) “It’s the universe, man! This painting is like… a map of the universe! It’s telling us where to go, but we gotta find the right angle… and maybe some snacks.”
Dave Matthews: (turns to Rob, thoughtful, before slowly nodding) “Yeah… and the colors, dude, they change everything. Like, it’s blue, and then it’s yellow, and then it’s… purple? So maybe, like, blue is our past, yellow is our future, and purple… is just chill, man. It’s like the color of… harmony.”
Rob Van Dam: (nodding with intensity) “Totally. Purple is the chill zone. Like, that one time I kicked the rope and it just… kept bouncing back, like the universe was telling me to chill. And I just, like, let it bounce. And life… just let it bounce, man.”
Dave Matthews: (smiling, staring into the painting, then looking at Rob, like he just discovered something profound) “Man, you ever think maybe the painting is, like, staring at us too?”
Rob Van Dam: (pauses, blinking slowly, then dramatically turns to Dave) “Dude… you just blew my mind. *What if the painting is watching us, judging us, waiting to see if we can, like, understand its… being?”
Dave Matthews: (squints at the painting again, unsure if he’s joking) “Yeah, man. It’s like… we’re in its world now. It’s like, we are the art now… but only if we understand the art. And only if we’re… truly present with the chips.”
Rob Van Dam: (staring at the chips for a long moment) “Wait, are the chips part of the art? Or are we just… the art? What if… what if the chips are our path, man? They’re like little steps toward… enlightenment.”
Dave Matthews: (leaning in toward Rob with wide eyes) “Dude, we’re not just looking at the art… we are the art.”
They both stand in silence for a long moment, staring at the painting again. The camera zooms out, leaving the pair in deep contemplation as soft, ambient music plays, with the occasional sound of crunching chips.
Rob Van Dam: (finally breaking the silence with a grin) “I think I need a nap after this, man.”
Dave Matthews: (nodding slowly) “Yeah, let’s, uh… let’s get some ice cream. Art needs ice cream.”
The scene fades to black with the soft sound of crunching chips and the two men slowly wandering off into the gallery, deep in thought.
