NXT and Smackdown Event!!
Opening Segment
The scene opens outside the arena with the neon-lit marquee glowing: “Saturday Main Event!” The camera pans down to the parking lot, where the distant rumbling of a sputtering engine echoes. The crowd inside the arena, watching on the screen, starts to buzz as the sound grows louder.
Suddenly, an old-school, psychedelic-painted Hippie van adorned with peace signs, tie-dye swirls, and “RVD 420” scrawled on the side lumbers into view. The van backfires with a comical pop before rolling to a stop. Smoke billows out from the driver’s window, filling the frame as the door creaks open.
Out steps Rob Van Dam, wearing a tank top with “Chill Champ” written on it and sunglasses at night. He stretches his arms lazily and nods his head, the epitome of mellow. From the passenger side emerges Dave Mathews, who’s sporting a loose tie-dye shirt and a headband, with a blissful grin that matches RVD’s vibe.
RVD (taking a deep breath and exhaling dramatically): “Ah, nothing like the fresh scent of peace, love, and a little chaos before a show, right, Dave?”
Dave Mathews (looking at the arena with wide eyes): “Whoa, man. This building is huge! Do you think they have, like… enough snacks in there?”
RVD (chuckling): “Trust me, bro, catering’s always prepared when RVD rolls in. Now, what match are we showing up late to this time?”
Dave squints at a crumpled piece of paper he pulls from his pocket, then turns it upside down, clearly confused.
Dave Mathews: “Umm… I think it says ‘beers’ and ‘backstage bowling?’ Wait, or is that ‘bears’ and ‘bowling’? Dude, I think we’re already lost.”
They share a laugh before suddenly noticing WWE official Pete the Ref, frantically waving them over from a distance.
Pete the Ref (out of breath as he reaches them): “RVD! Dave! You’re on in five minutes and my Dad is gonna be mad! And… why is your van blocking the entrance?”
RVD (shrugging, unbothered): “Chill vibes, Pete. Let the aura find its parking spot.”
The arena crowd laughs as Pete throws his hands up in playful frustration. The camera switches to a wide shot of the van, still half blocking the main ramp entrance, before cutting back to RVD and Dave, who casually stroll toward the building, chatting about snack strategies and wrestling moves.
Dave Mathews (muttering): “I hope they have gummy bears, man…”
RVD (grinning): “This is going to be one sweet event.”
The camera fades to black as the Saturday Main Event theme music kicks in, and the crowd erupts with anticipation.
RVD vs Karrion Kross
The show returns from the cold open with a sweeping shot of the packed arena, fans on their feet as the pyrotechnics light up the ring. The commentary team of Pat McAfee and Booker T are already hyped.
Pat McAfee: “Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to Saturday Main Event! We’re kicking things off with a clash you won’t want to miss—it’s the one and only Rob Van Dam versus the NXT Champion, Karrion Kross!”
Booker T: “Oh, it’s about to go down, dawg. RVD just rolled in with his laid-back vibes, but Karrion Kross? He’s all business, man.”
RVD’s iconic theme music, “One of a Kind,” hits the speakers, and the crowd erupts. RVD jogs down the ramp, high-fiving fans with his signature grin, clearly feeling good after his comedic arrival. He slides into the ring, raises his thumbs, and mouths, “R-V-D!” to the roar of the audience.
Suddenly, the lights dim, and a deep red hue bathes the arena. The haunting theme of Karrion Kross begins to play, accompanied by a video of ticking clocks and dark imagery. Kross makes his way down the ramp with a menacing glare, eyes locked on RVD.
Pat McAfee: “And here comes Karrion Kross—the harbinger of destruction, and he looks like he’s ready to make a statement tonight.”
Booker T: “You can see it in his eyes, Pat. Kross isn’t just here to wrestle; he’s here to dominate.”
The bell rings, and the match kicks off with RVD trying to use his agility to stay out of Kross’s grasp. RVD hits a few quick kicks and a rolling thunder that pops the crowd, but Kross absorbs it, rising like an unstoppable force.
Kross catches RVD with a powerful Saito suplex that shifts the momentum. The arena holds its breath as Kross stalks RVD, who struggles to get to his feet. RVD attempts a last-ditch springboard kick, but Kross catches him mid-air and slams him down with a thunderous Doomsday Saito.
The end is in sight as Kross signals for the Kross Jacket. He locks it in with brutal force, and RVD fights valiantly, arms flailing, trying to escape. The crowd chants “RVD! RVD!” but it’s too late. RVD’s movements slow before he eventually passes out, and the referee calls for the bell.
Ring Announcer: “Here is your winner by submission, the NXT Champion, Karrion Kross!”
Kross stands tall over the fallen RVD, raising his arm. The commentary team reacts.
Booker T: “I gotta give it to RVD, he showed up with heart, but Kross was just too much tonight.”
Pat McAfee: “Absolutely. This guy is a beast, and he just proved why he’s the NXT Champion. What a way to kick off Saturday Main Event!”
As Kross exits the ring, RVD slowly sits up, shaking off the cobwebs and still managing a small, defiant smile to the crowd, earning him a huge round of applause.
Performance 2025
The screen fades from black into a dramatic montage of waving American flags, patriotic music swelling in the background. The camera pans to a podium draped in red, white, and blue bunting, where CEO Jeff Murrey stands confidently. Behind him, a massive backdrop displays “Performance Plan 2025” in bold letters, flanked by two enormous American flags. Murrey, wearing a sleek suit adorned with a small lapel pin of the WWE logo, leans into the microphone with a charismatic grin.
CEO Murrey: “Ladies and gentlemen, members of the WWE Universe, tonight I stand before you with an announcement that will change the course of professional wrestling as we know it! This, right here, is my Performance Plan 2025—a bold new era, an unprecedented chapter in our industry’s history.”
The camera cuts to crowd shots of fans watching on the bog screen, eyes wide with anticipation.
CEO Murrey: “But first, let’s talk about what’s on the horizon. Survivor Series: WarGames! An event so intense, so legendary, that it demands nothing less than the best. I am thrilled to announce that AJ Styles and The Demon Finn Balor will close out their epic trilogy, and this time, there will be no room for doubt—only one will stand victorious!”
The crowd erupts into cheers as footage of their previous brutal encounters flashes on the screen behind Murrey.
CEO Murrey: “But that’s not all! The Bloodline—The Rock, Solo Sikoa, Jimmy, and Jey Uso—will step into the WarGames cage against none other than The Pride: Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits! The battle for supremacy is about to hit a fever pitch, folks.”
Murrey pauses, letting the gravity of the match sink in, as a chant of “WarGames! WarGames!” breaks out in the arena.
CEO Murrey: “And if you thought that was enough, think again. For the United States Championship, the defending champion Diamond Dallas Page will go toe-to-toe with none other than the eccentric, unstoppable force that is Flex Fuller!”
A split-screen video of DDP hitting his Diamond Cutter and Flex Fuller’s outrageous antics plays, hyping up the crowd.
CEO Murrey: “And the Intercontinental Championship will be on the line as Tommaso Ciampa defends against his former ally, now bitter rival, Johnny Gargano. It’s a battle of respect, betrayal, and redemption!”
The camera cuts to a solemn-looking Ciampa and a determined Gargano, the tension palpable.
CEO Murrey: “But beyond Survivor Series, my friends, 2025 will be unlike anything you’ve ever seen. I’m proud to announce that the WWE will be moving all programming to Netflix! Yes, every episode, every pay-per-view, every moment of drama and triumph will now be available on the world’s leading streaming platform.”
A brief pause as Murrey looks directly into the camera, his voice deepening.
CEO Murrey: “And with this move comes a new era—an adults-only experience as WWE embraces the TV-MA rating. Prepare yourselves for edgier content, harder-hitting stories, and a roster that will give no quarter. 2025 will be the Year of Pro Wrestling, and we are all in.”
The crowd cheers wildly, banners waving as the announcement sinks in. Murrey steps back, raising his fist in a gesture of victory as the camera slowly pans out, capturing the sea of American flags and the roaring audience.
CEO Murrey: “The future is here, and it starts now!”
The scene fades out with a closing shot of the “Performance Plan 2025” banner, leaving the arena buzzing with excitement and anticipation.
Bronson Reed vs DDP
The arena is filled with anticipation as the sound of Bronson Reed’s theme music thunders through the speakers. Reed steps out onto the stage, his imposing frame casting a shadow as he walks down the ramp with focused determination. The crowd, a mix of boos and respectful applause, watches as he steps over the top rope and into the ring, flexing his muscles and signaling that he means business.
Booker T: “Here comes the powerhouse, Bronson Reed, ready to crush whoever stands in his path. But tonight, he faces a legend, Pat.”
Pat McAfee: “That’s right, Booker! Diamond Dallas Page is not someone to take lightly. This is going to be a clash of sheer power versus experience and craft.”
Moments later, the arena lights dim, and the iconic opening riff of DDP’s entrance music kicks in. The crowd erupts with cheers as Diamond Dallas Page strides out with confident swagger, hands forming the signature diamond shape above his head. He walks down the ramp, slapping hands with fans before sliding into the ring and staring down Reed.
The bell rings, and the match begins with a lockup. Reed’s strength quickly comes into play as he pushes DDP back into the corner, pressing his forearm against DDP’s jaw with a snarl. The referee intervenes, calling for a break. DDP uses the brief pause to throw a quick elbow, catching Reed off guard.
DDP takes control, hitting Reed with a series of strikes and a spinning neckbreaker that staggers the big man but doesn’t bring him down. Reed retaliates with a massive shoulder block that sends DDP crashing to the mat. He follows up with a powerful scoop slam and a running senton that shakes the ring.
Booker T: “Oh man! Bronson Reed’s power is on full display tonight. DDP’s gotta dig deep if he wants to get out of this.”
Reed drags DDP up and sets him up for a suplex, but DDP counters mid-air and shifts into a DDT, planting Reed into the canvas. The crowd pops as both men lay on the mat, catching their breath.
Pat McAfee: “What a counter by DDP! That’s why they call him a master of turning the tide.”
DDP gets up first and signals for the Diamond Cutter, but Reed sees it coming and shoves DDP hard into the ropes. As DDP rebounds, Reed catches him with a devastating powerslam and quickly climbs to the middle rope.
Booker T: “Here we go! Reed’s going for the big splash! If he hits this, it’s over.”
Reed leaps off the middle rope, but DDP rolls out of the way at the last second, and Reed crashes hard to the mat. The crowd roars as DDP gets up, the fire in his eyes showing that he’s ready to finish it.
With Reed on his knees, clutching his ribs, DDP pulls him up and out of nowhere hits the Diamond Cutter! The impact echoes through the arena as DDP scrambles for the cover.
Referee: “One! Two! Three!”
The bell rings, and the crowd explodes in celebration. DDP rises to his feet, arms raised high as his music blares triumphantly. He walks to the ropes, climbing the turnbuckle and forming the diamond shape above his head, receiving a massive ovation from the fans.
Ring Announcer: “Here is your winner, Diamond Dallas Page!”
Pat McAfee: “DDP did it! The legend pulled it off, showing that experience and heart can overcome sheer power any day.”
Booker T: “That’s what I’m talking about, Pat. DDP came in here with a plan, and he executed it to perfection.”
As Bronson Reed rolls out of the ring, shaking his head in frustration, DDP continues to celebrate, slapping hands with fans and soaking in the moment. The screen fades to commercial with a close-up of DDP, smiling and nodding with the crowd chanting his name.
Accountability Crib
The scene opens with upbeat, quirky music playing in the background as the camera zooms in on the iconic “DDP’s Accountability Crib” sign out front of a modern home adorned with motivational banners like “Own Your Life” and “Never Tap Out.” The door swings open, and out steps Doc Brown—wild white hair, lab coat slightly askew, and an excited, if somewhat twitchy, smile on his face.
Doc Brown: “Great Scott! Welcome, welcome! Come in, come in! Today, I, Doc Emmett Brown, shall be your guide to the magical world of positivity, accountability, and absolutely no time-altering shenanigans. Follow me, quick, quick!”
The camera follows Doc Brown inside as he gestures grandly to a well-decorated living room. Pictures of DDP with various wrestlers line the walls, alongside shelves filled with trophies and framed quotes that say things like, “Feel the Bang!”
Doc Brown (pointing to the walls): “This here is where Diamond Dallas Page reminds himself—and occasionally everyone else—that life is a series of comebacks. And believe me, folks, if anyone needs a comeback right now, it’s yours truly.”
Doc reaches into his pocket and nervously pulls out a small vial labeled “Elixir X,” with a comical skull and crossbones drawn on it. He stares at it, then shakes his head dramatically.
Doc Brown: “You see, I’ve been working day and night to kick the habit of this cursed concoction and, of course, stop my peculiar hobby of, uh, injecting my friends with it. No more accidental super-strength Flex Fuller or hyperactive Booker T running circles around the ring. No, sir!”
He tosses the vial into a bin labeled “No More Magic Stuff” and smiles proudly. The camera pans over to a small table with motivational items: protein shakes, yoga mats, and a DDPY guidebook.
Doc Brown (gesturing to the table): “Now, here we have the essentials for daily motivation. DDP insists that the path to self-improvement doesn’t involve wild chemicals or jolt-inducing experiments, but good ol’ hard work, stretching, and kale smoothies. Great Scott, kale smoothies!”
The camera cuts to Doc pulling a disgusted face as he holds up a half-finished green smoothie. He takes a small sip and immediately winces.
Doc Brown: “Blech! I’ll stick to flux capacitors over this… gunk any day.”
A loud bang is heard from the back of the house, and DDP’s wife echoes through the hallway.
Payge (off-screen): “Doc! Are you drinking my smoothies again?!”
Doc’s eyes widen in comedic panic, and he waves frantically at the camera to move along.
Doc Brown: “Quickly, we must continue before we’re caught in the act of unauthorized green beverage sampling! To the Accountability Board!”
They move into another room where a massive whiteboard is covered with scribbled goals, dates, and phrases like “No Elixir Tuesdays” and “Don’t Zap Friends!”
Doc Brown: “Ah, the Accountability Board! Here, I jot down my progress on going cold turkey from all things elixir-related. Thanks to DDP’s help, I’m replacing my… ahem… unusual pastimes with healthy alternatives like meditation, motivational chanting, and occasional power naps. No time travel, no problem!”
The sound of footsteps gets louder, and Payge steps into the frame, arms folded with an amused smirk.
Payge: “Doc, you better not be giving them any of your secret recipes.”
Doc Brown (chuckling nervously): “Recipes? Who, me? Never! Just showing them the, uh, kale smoothies.”
Payge raises an eyebrow, shakes her head with a laugh, and pats Doc on the back.
Payge: “Good job, Doc. One day at a time, right?”
Doc Brown: “Indeed! One kale-filled, elixir-free day at a time!”
The camera fades out with Doc Brown beaming at the camera, holding up the smoothie cup with a toast.
Doc Brown: “To progress, accountability, and the power of positive thinking! And no more surprise superpowers… unless absolutely necessary.”
The scene closes as the quirky music swells, leaving the audience laughing as they get a final glimpse of DDP’s Accountability Crib.
Saturday Night Main Event
Keith Lee vs Chad Gable
The arena is electric with anticipation as the main event of the evening is announced. The crowd cheers as Keith Lee’s entrance theme hits, and the “Limitless” superstar walks out, exuding confidence. He nods to the fans, taking in the cheers before heading down the ramp and stepping over the top rope into the ring. He raises his arm and points to the sky, signaling his readiness.
Booker T: “Keith Lee is in the building, y’all! The man’s got the power, the agility, and tonight he’s here to show the world why he’s limitless.”
Pat McAfee: “But don’t count out his opponent tonight. Chad Gable is as technically sound as they come, and he’s got that underdog spirit. This is gonna be a showdown for the ages.”
The crowd erupts once more as Chad Gable’s entrance theme plays. He walks out with determination in his eyes, shouting “SHOOSH!” to a playful response from the crowd. Gable sprints down to the ring, slapping hands with the fans before sliding under the bottom rope. He stands face-to-face with Lee, sizing up his much larger opponent with a confident smirk.
The bell rings, and the match begins with a collar-and-elbow tie-up. Keith Lee’s strength quickly becomes apparent as he pushes Gable back into the corner. The referee calls for a break, and Lee steps back with a respectful nod. Gable takes a moment, strategizing his next move.
Gable tries to use his speed to get behind Lee, going for a waist lock. Lee chuckles and powers out, tossing Gable across the ring with ease. Gable lands on his feet and smirks, showing his agility. He circles Lee and lunges in, catching him with a quick drop toe hold that surprises the big man. Gable transitions into a front face lock, trying to wear Lee down.
Booker T: “That’s smart strategy by Gable. He knows he can’t match power with Keith Lee, so he’s using his wrestling background to keep him grounded.”
Pat McAfee: “Absolutely, Booker. Gable’s like a chess master in there, always thinking two steps ahead.”
Lee powers out of the hold and lifts Gable effortlessly, setting him down and shaking his head with a grin as if to say, “Nice try.” Gable, undeterred, runs the ropes and hits a quick chop block to Lee’s knee, finally bringing the big man down. The crowd roars as Gable capitalizes with a series of rapid-fire kicks and a running forearm.
Lee gets back to his feet, but Gable is relentless, hitting a German suplex that wows the audience as Lee is momentarily lifted off the ground. Gable bridges for the pin.
Referee: “One! Two!”
Lee powers out at two, sending Gable rolling across the mat. Gable’s eyes widen with a mix of shock and respect.
Booker T: “That German suplex, man! Gable’s got that freak strength, but Keith Lee ain’t gonna stay down that easy.”
Lee rises and unleashes a sudden burst of speed, catching Gable with a running crossbody that flattens him. The crowd chants “This is awesome!” as Lee pulls Gable up for a Spirit Bomb. Gable, sensing danger, shifts mid-lift and counters into a sunset flip pin.
Referee: “One! Two!”
Lee kicks out again, this time looking frustrated. He gets up and charges at Gable, who ducks under and counters with a rolling kick to Lee’s midsection. Stunned, Lee staggers, and Gable seizes the moment. He hooks Lee’s leg and hits the Chaos Theory rolling German suplex, bridging beautifully for the pin.
Referee: “One! Two! Three!”
The bell rings, and the crowd explodes with a mix of shock and excitement as Chad Gable’s theme music hits. Gable rolls off, breathing heavily but with a huge smile on his face. He raises his arms in victory as the referee holds his hand up.
Ring Announcer: “Here is your winner, Chad Gable!”
Pat McAfee: “He did it! Chad Gable just defeated Keith Lee in the main event! What a performance by this technical wizard.”
Booker T: “I gotta give it up to Gable, man. He came in with a game plan, executed it to perfection, and showed why he’s one of the most dangerous men in that ring. Keith Lee gave him a battle, but tonight was Gable’s night.”
Keith Lee sits up, a look of surprise on his face, but then nods in acknowledgment, giving Gable a respectful clap as Gable offers a handshake. Lee accepts, and the crowd cheers for both men. The show closes with Gable celebrating on the turnbuckle, soaking in the well-deserved applause.
