PRESS RELEASE: Murrey Entertainment Paid Break (11.12.24)

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

WWE CEO JEFF MURREY ANNOUNCES TWO-WEEK PAID BREAK FOR SUPERSTARS – WITH A ‘HUUUGE’ HOLIDAY CELEBRATION

November 12, 2024 – In an unprecedented move that has the WWE Universe buzzing loudly, WWE CEO Jeff Murrey announced today that WWE will be taking a well-deserved break starting immediately until Monday, November 25th. The reason? A two-pronged celebration: a tribute to the upcoming holiday season and a nod to the historic victory of President-elect Donald Trump.

Standing at a podium dressed in a WWE blazer (bedazzled with “CEO” across the back) and flanked by Pete the Ref holding sparklers, Murrey made the announcement during a live-streamed press conference:

“Now, folks, you know I’m a man of many ideas. Some say they’re brilliant, others just nod and quietly walk away. But today, I’m here to share a move that’s gonna be huuuuge. As the holiday season is approaching and because I like to keep my Superstars happier than a turkey that survived Thanksgiving, WWE will be taking a break, and not just any break—a paid two-week vacation! That’s right, no bumping, no chair shots, and absolutely zero pie fights (looking at you, Otis).”

The WWE Universe, which thrives on drama, spectacle, and shenanigans, will have to hold its collective breath until the Superstars return, revitalized, rested, and hopefully a little wiser with their families’ holiday cooking under their championship belts.

“And that’s not all, folks,” Murrey continued with a grin. “We’re also raising our glasses, our turnbuckles, and our eyebrows to congratulate President-elect Donald Trump. Politics aside, you can’t deny this—love him or not, he’s as headline-grabbing as The Rock’s eyebrow! We’re not just taking time off for rest; we’re taking time off to prepare for an electrifying return like never before! This break is a chance for the Superstars to take a breath, spend time with family, maybe even watch our lack of competition at home and yell at the screen like the rest of you.”

The Road Ahead: Back in Action November 25th Murrey confirmed that WWE programming will return with a massive post-holiday show on Monday, November 25th, promising action-packed matches, holiday chaos, and the kind of shocking moments that’ll make the mashed potatoes spill off your plate.

“Mark it on your calendars! Because when we come back, WWE is bringing the fireworks, the drama, and more surprises than your Aunts secret holiday fruitcake recipe!” Murrey shouted, as Pete the Ref cued an unexpected round of confetti cannons.

Stay tuned, WWE Universe! Rest up, hug your loved ones, and be ready for the countdown to a return that will make even Santa wish he had ringside seats.

Because even Superstars need a break—and a laugh.
