Flex Fuller Steals Doc Brown’s Elixir Vials
Doc Brown is seen in his makeshift lab, tinkering with his mysterious magic elixir vials. Flex Fuller sneaks in, tip-toeing behind Doc and, with exaggerated movements, grabs all the vials when Doc isn’t looking. Flex tries drinking one of the vials but instantly regrets it, stumbling around in a daze, hallucinating, and reacting to random objects as if they’re moving. It becomes clear that Flex has grabbed the wrong vials. Flex is caught in the hallway by DDP. Dallas delivers a diamond cutter to Flex and all the vials fall to the floor and shatter.
Sonya Deville Spies on Candace LaRae
The scene transitions to a dark, eerie atmosphere. Candace LaRae is shown at her home, on the phone with Johnny Gargano, asking him to come home. The camera perspective shifts to what seems like a hidden angle from outside her window. It’s revealed that Sonya Deville is spying on her. Sonya whispers ominously to herself, recounting old grudges against Candace while slowly circling the house, her face illuminated only by the faint moonlight. The segment is tense, with Sonya almost caught when Candace opens a window, sensing something is wrong. Sonya slinks back into the shadows, her obsession with Candace growing more intense.

NXT GM Shawn Michaels and RAW GM Eric Bischoff
Backstage, tensions rise between NXT GM Shawn Michaels and RAW GM Eric Bischoff. Shawn criticizes Bischoff’s management style and for allowing chaos to reign on his show. Bischoff fires back, reminding Shawn that NXT is “developmental” compared to RAW’s global stage. The two exchange verbal barbs until security steps in, teasing a future clash between the brands.
Last Man Standing Match – Karrion Kross (c) vs. Johnny Gargano for the NXT Championship
Gargano brings his resilience and fighting spirit, targeting Kross’ knee throughout the match, while Kross displays his power, launching Gargano into steel steps and through barricades.
The match escalates with Kross dragging Gargano up the ramp, setting him up for a devastating Doomsday Saito through a table. Gargano, barely able to stand, counters with a DDT, sending Kross crashing down. As the count reaches 9, Kross staggers to his feet, hitting a brutal running forearm to Gargano’s skull, knocking him out cold. Gargano can’t answer the referee’s count of 10, and Karrion Kross retains his title.
Winner: Karrion Kross retains the NXT Championship.
AJ Styles vs. Chad Gable
Technical Showcase
The opening minutes are a masterclass in chain wrestling, with Gable and Styles trading holds. Gable quickly shows off his Olympic-level mat wrestling, grounding AJ with waistlock takedowns and amateur grappling maneuvers. AJ, however, counters with his agility and strikes, hitting a lightning-quick arm drag, followed by a dropkick that sends Gable rolling out of the ring to regroup.
AJ Takes Control
As Gable returns to the ring, Styles switches his game plan, targeting Gable’s midsection with sharp kicks and knee strikes. AJ whips Gable into the corner and follows up with a running forearm smash. He hits a snap suplex and transitions into a pin, but Gable kicks out at two.
AJ stays on the attack, looking to wear down Gable with a reverse chinlock, but Gable powers up and escapes with a series of elbows to the ribs. AJ attempts a clothesline, but Gable ducks, catches him in a waistlock, and executes a stunning German suplex! AJ crashes hard, but quickly rolls to his feet, shaking off the impact.
Gable’s Comeback
Gable begins to build momentum, countering a Styles Clash attempt with a back body drop. He immediately follows up with a bridging Northern Lights suplex for a near-fall. The crowd roars in support of Gable as he hits a rolling kick, then lifts AJ for a modified Olympic Slam, only for AJ to slip out and counter into a Pele Kick!
AJ’s sudden strike stuns Gable, and he follows up with a Ushigoroshi, dropping Gable neck-first over his knee. The pinfall attempt is close, but Gable kicks out at the last moment. AJ looks frustrated but remains focused.
AJ’s Precision vs. Gable’s Heart
Sensing the end, AJ signals for the Phenomenal Forearm. He springboards off the top rope, but Gable ducks just in time! As AJ lands, Gable catches him in a surprise ankle lock, wrenching at AJ’s foot with all his strength. AJ scrambles in pain, trying to reach the ropes. The crowd is on their feet as it looks like AJ might tap, but he uses his veteran instincts to roll through, sending Gable crashing into the turnbuckle.
AJ capitalizes instantly, pulling Gable into position for the Styles Clash! The audience erupts as AJ plants Gable into the mat. AJ hooks the leg, and the referee counts 1…2…3!
Winner: AJ Styles via pinfall.
Finn Balor Strikes
As AJ Styles celebrates his hard-fought victory, raising his arms to the adulation of the crowd, Finn Balor’s music hits. AJ turns toward the ramp, expecting Balor to appear, but Finn comes from behind, blindsiding him with a vicious sling blade!
AJ hits the mat hard, and Balor wastes no time, stomping on AJ’s ribs and back with relentless fury. The crowd boos loudly, but Finn is undeterred. He drags AJ to the corner, climbs the turnbuckle, and delivers a devastating Coup de Grâce to AJ’s chest, leaving the World Champion writhing in pain.
Not done yet, Balor lifts AJ’s lifeless body and nails him with a brutal 1916 onto the steel steps outside the ring. With AJ sprawled out, Finn grabs the World Championship belt from ringside, standing over a fallen AJ. He lifts the title high above his head, sending a clear message: he’s coming for AJ’s crown.
Finn Balor stands tall, the crowd raining down boos as he leaves AJ Styles battered in the ring, setting the stage for the rematch at Badd Blood.
