ULW on Tour (8.24.24)

Undisputed League Wrestling hosted a live house show on August 24th, 2024; this is what happened:

The opening bout saw Io Shirai soundly defeat Nikki Bella, who was still licking her wounds from her recent loss to AJ Lee. Following the match, though, Nikki was mysteriously taken after the lights flickered…leaving Io utterly confused!

Homicide and Powerhouse Hobbs tore the house down in a 20 minute brawl which spilled out of the ring and made it all over the arena before they finally made it back in. Hobbs pulled off the victory despite Homicide’s valiant efforts. The crowd was left chanting for Homicide long after Hobbs left.

Hans Gustav made himself known and warned that Edge Court will regret summoning him to appear, and declared that this is not over between him and Vice Commissioner Evil! Kennedy just stood behind his tag team partner, resigning himself to following his lead. This is when Tony D’Angelo finally made his first appearance in ULW and offered his services to the Neck-Breakers. Hans warned that he was not in the mood for “wannabe gangsters” and Tony informed Hans that he was no wannabe. Then, the Neck-Breakers left him behind with a big smirk on his face.

Samoa Joe defeated a badly depressed Big Show in quick fashion. Saguna and Dutt showed a rare moment of unity as they tried to help their troubled friend to his feet. Show, though, flipped out and tore the ring apart in his rage as Saguna and Dutt backed away and watched in horror with Show screaming “LOVE!!!!!!”

The Rascalz defeated YMCA in an exciting and high-flying tag team bout. The crowd stood and applauded the efforts of both teams, paying a special amount of tribute to the legendary B-Rad and T. Page!

John Silver stole a moment in the ring after YMCA was honored to ask that the people join him in honoring the Undisputed Champion, Bray Wyatt, with a poem. His poem didn’t last for long, though, as The Establishment barged in and beat him down. Soon, Damian Priest stormed into the ring and chased Recon and Sniper away. After picking Silver back up, Priest said something to him that no one else could hear, but it was clear that it changed Silver’s attitude to a more serious demeanor as the two of them left.

During the Main Event, Jade Cargill was set to defend the Women’s Championship against the iconic Amazon. The match began and looked like it was going to be a banger only for the lights to shut off again! Enshrouded in darkness, the audience and the talent in the ring stood in wait and then in horror as a blood-curdling scream was heard and the lights came back on in time to see a badly beaten and bloodied Nikki Bella in mid fall to the center of the ring!

The match itself was ruled a no contest as medical staff and officials rushed to the ring to attend to Nikki as the live show concluded!
