Mission in Waiting: Following ULW’s First Victory over AEW and WWE

Mission in Waiting – Preparing for ULW’s Follow-Up to Extreme Aggression

Boy, oh boy, what a week! I promise to get more into the nitty gritty about the week we have just seen when I get a chance, but let’s just say that it has been a game-changing week for sure!

One question that you may have about this incredible week in wrestling that we just experienced is “how will ULW follow-up”? Well, let’s get into that as we break down the card for this Monday’s “Premier Aggression”, which hails from the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida!

Women’s Title Match: Jade Cargill Faces Mystery Opponent

Our opening bout sees the dominant Women’s Champion, Miss Jade Cargill, defend against a mystery opponent. The ONLY remaining champion whose reign started prior to the birth of ULW may be a force to be reckoned with, but the target on her back becomes more and more prominent with each passing week as this stacked and very hungry women’s locker room clamors for the chance of a lifetime.

Will the challenger be a former champion, a legend, or maybe a new face? It’s anybody’s guess, and they will have the element of surprise as they enter this competition, but can they get the job done? We shall see!

Crock’s Dating Hour

Over the course of the past month, we have seen the drama unfold pertinent to Lady Love’s affect on the men’s locker room. Saguna and Big Show are back under her spell, and now Sonjay Dutt has been thrust into the spotlight as well, for he has developed a crush that he can’t ignore either.

Enter the Crock, and the resident “Hero” has been tasked with liberating the boys from Love’s spell. Last week, he announced that he will revisit a familiar format – one which preceded the debut of his show by helping him find his sidekick, Mr. Moody – by hosting a contest…but this time with a twist: it’ll be a dating contest geared towards matching each of the boys with a replacement transgender girlfriend to replace Lady Love!

I don’t know what to expect here, but what you can bank on is that it will be unforgettable!

Premier Title Match: Mystico defends against Goldust

It’s hard to believe, but Mystico has already been the Premier Champion for 3 weeks as of Monday, and while he has had successful defenses on the live show tour, this is his first televised title defense since winning the Premier 8 Match to capture the gold.

His challenger, though, will not be a push-over by any stretch of the imagination as Goldust makes his television debut in ULW, which marks the first time in over 20 years that he has not worked for BWM Inc.

Goldust may not be as young as he was at the beginning of his illustrious career, but he is more determined than ever. I can’t remember the last time he held single’s gold, and it has been 4 years since he last held any gold, so this will not be one to miss!

Damian Priest v. Attitude

Taking a break from their side jobs as Bray Wyatt’s protector or torturing Splidder for information on the competition, Damian Priest makes his in-ring debut in ULW against the man whom he arguable cost the Undisputed Championship a little over a month ago: Attitude.

Attitude has been chomping at the bits to exact some revenge on Priest for inserting his nose in Million Dollar business, and Priest seeks to show a brand new audience everything that he is capable of here!

Will the drama that they have both found themselves tied up with over the past month play a role here, or will this simply become a battle for supremacy? Let’s find out!

Main Event: Falls Count Anywhere Match – The Young Bucks v. Bludgeon Brothers

In the main event of the evening, we see THE culmination of events with the war between the Young Bucks and the Bludgeon Brothers as CJ Perry – the Commissioner of the Premier League – gives Chief Commissioner Lenny Mouse what he wants (as he instructed her to slate a match following the backstage brawl last week) by slating this bout to finish the war once and for all in a Falls Count Anywhere Match!

Bear in mind that the teams have met in the ring on three previous occasions, but neither team has managed to conquer the other. First, they battled at Starrcade, but the Bludgeon Brothers elected to get themselves disqualified as a display of their pure brutality. They were then denied obtaining the gold when they met in a rematch when the Young Bucks got themselves disqualified in response. Lastly, their third encounter was the triple threat match for the tag gold which saw the two teams at issue here so consumed by their mutual hatred that they permitted Proud N’ Powerful to steal the titles!

Heading into Monday, I have been told that the match will not be permitted to end without a clear winning tag team and that the winning team will automatically be awarded a rematch for Proud N’ Powerful’s Tag Team Titles! So, you can bet everything you own on the fact that we are in for quite the show!!

The Board of Directors Meet

Finally, all eyes will be on the long-awaited meeting of the Cash Mouse Entertainment Board of Directors – as convened and presided over by the Triad – for an all-important vote on the “Rule 11 Clock”.

Heading into this vote, I have learned that Dibiase has been preparing his loyalists to stand resolute against Brown and Catherine’s attempts to “clarify” the path to Armageddon 5. Remember, per the corporate charter, if the Triad is not in unanimous agreement on major matters before them, then there are two paths forward:

Either one dissenting member of the Triad must secure the unanimous vote of the Board to win the day, or two members of the Triad must secure a simple majority vote of the Board for the same result. If two members of the Triad fail to secure a majority vote, then their proposal will be temporarily enacted for one month. However, after that month, the matter is voted on again for a final time, and failure to secure majority support results in the proposal’s rejection.

This is why Dibiase’s scheming is so important. As of right now, a simple whip count of the prospective vote is not promising for Catherine Mouse and Ted Brown to get their way, but it remains to be seen…especially if Dibiase is unable to fill that final vacancy – that of the Chief Compliance Officer – in time. If he fails to do so, then there is conceivably a chance for success.

Overall, Monday’s installment of “Premier Aggression” – which will be the Premier League’s last chance to try and earn a high enough rating to overcome the Extreme League’s case for hosting Aggression for the first seven weeks of the Main Season – will be a can’t-miss event!

See you there!

Until our next Quest, this has been Johnny with yet another mission!
