Opening Segment: In-Ring
The show opens with the LWO’s Rey Mysterio, Santos Escobar, Andrade, Angel Garza, and Carlito in the ring. Rey Mysterio takes the mic, addressing the fans and talking about the legacy of the Latino World Order. He hypes up the upcoming six-man tag match against The Bloodline, promising that tonight will be the night they stand tall against The Rock, Jimmy Uso, and Solo Sikoa.
Cue The Bloodline’s music as WWE Champion The Rock, and Tag Team Champions Solo Sikoa, and Jimmy Uso make their way to the ring, flanked by a sea of boos. The Rock, holding his WWE Championship high, cuts a promo, mocking the LWO and declaring that The Bloodline is unstoppable.
Match 1: LWO (Rey Mysterio, Santos Escobar, and Andrade) vs. The Bloodline (The Rock, Jimmy Uso, and Solo Sikoa)
The match is a fast-paced, high-energy affair, with both teams showcasing their unique styles. The crowd is on fire as the LWO and The Bloodline go back and forth, with near falls and high-flying maneuvers. As the match reaches its climax, Jey Uso suddenly appears, sliding into the ring and blindsiding The Rock with a superkick! The LWO takes advantage of the chaos, with Rey Mysterio hitting the 619 on Jimmy Uso, followed by Andrade’s Hammerlock DDT on Solo Sikoa for the win.
Winners: LWO (Rey Mysterio, Santos Escobar, and Andrade)
Backstage Segment: Flex Fuller’s Jealousy
Flex Fuller is seen lurking around the locker room area, peeking through the door of a locker room. Inside, Doc Brown and DDP are sharing a laugh, clearly enjoying each other’s company. Flex’s face twists with jealousy as he mutters to himself.
Flex Fuller: “Look at them, laughing it up like they’re best buddies. I could’ve been laughing with the Doc…if only I had a time machine.”
He continues to spy on them, but every time DDP and Doc Brown share a hearty laugh, Flex’s frustration grows.
Backstage Segment: Pete the Ref and CEO Murrey
Pete the Ref nervously approaches CEO Murrey, who is in the middle of a conversation with a member of the Council for National Policy.
Pete the Ref: “Uh, Mr. Murrey…sir, I have something important to tell you. It’s been eating at me for a while now.”
Murrey looks irritated but gestures for Pete to continue.
Pete the Ref: “Well… I’ve done some research, and… well, you’re my biological father.”
Murrey’s eyes widened in shock.
Murrey: “Do I need to beat you over the head with a weedeater again?”
Pete awkwardly pulls out a crumpled envelope from his pocket.
Pete the Ref: “I found this old letter from my mom… It explains everything. You two… met at a church event years ago. And, well, here I am.”
Murrey stares at the letter, then at Pete, then back at the letter.
Murrey: “So… you’re my son?”
Pete nods eagerly.
Murrey: “Get the hell out of my sight!”
In-Ring Segment: GM William Regal Grants Awesome Truth a Tag Title Shot
The Miz and R-Truth, collectively known as Awesome Truth, are in the ring, playing up to the crowd as they talk about their tag team legacy. They demand a shot at the Tag Team Championships at the upcoming Bash in Berlin.
William Regal’s music hits, and the Smackdown General Manager makes his way to the ring, microphone in hand.
Regal: “Now, now, gentlemen. I’ve heard your demands, and after careful consideration… I’ve decided to grant them. At Bash in Berlin, you two will have your tag team championship match!”
The crowd erupts as The Miz and R-Truth celebrate, but Regal raises a hand to stop them.
Regal: “But… There’s a catch. You’ll be facing not one, but two other teams in a Triple Threat Tag Team Match!”
The Miz and R-Truth look shocked, but quickly regain their composure, nodding confidently as they prepare for the challenge ahead.
Backstage Segment: Stone Cold Steve Austin and Shinsuke Nakamura
Stone Cold Steve Austin is seen backstage having a conversation with United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura. They’re discussing strategies for Nakamura’s upcoming title defense.
Austin: “Listen, Shinsuke, you gotta hit ’em hard and hit ’em fast. Don’t give ’em a second to breathe.”
Nakamura nods, giving a thumbs up.
Nakamura: “Stone Cold style, I like it.”
They share a respectful nod, and Austin hands Nakamura a can of beer.
Austin: “Now, go out there and whoop some ass!”
Nakamura smirks, holding the beer can as the segment ends.
Main Event: United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Flex Fuller
In the main event, Shinsuke Nakamura defends his United States Championship against Flex Fuller. The match is a hard-hitting affair, with Nakamura showcasing his strong style, while Flex tries to use underhanded tactics to gain the upper hand. Despite Flex’s best efforts, Nakamura hits Kinshasa to secure the victory and retain his title.
Winner: Shinsuke Nakamura
Closing Segment
The show closes with The Rock confronting Jey Uso backstage, furious over his interference in the match earlier.
Rock: “You wanted the Rock’s attention…now you got it. At Bash in Berlin, you will go one on one…with the Great one!”
The show ends with a shot of The Rock staring down Jey Uso, the tension between them at an all-time high.
