Opening

The show opens with the familiar sound of Shawn Michaels’ theme song. GM Shawn Michaels makes his way to the ring to a huge ovation from the crowd.

Shawn Michaels: “Welcome to WWE NXT! Tonight, we’ve got an action-packed show for you, including a main event that will see Jeff Jarrett go one-on-one with Karrion Kross. But that’s not all; we have some amazing matches lined up. So let’s get this show started!”

 

Match 1: DIY vs. John Morrison & Elijah Burke

DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa) make their entrance to a massive pop. John Morrison and Elijah Burke follow, looking confident.

Match Highlights:

  • The match is a high-flying, fast-paced contest with lots of back-and-forth action.
  • Morrison and Burke show off their agility, while DIY display their excellent teamwork and resilience.
  • The match ends with DIY hitting their finishing move meeting in the middle on Burke for the win.

Winners: DIY

 

Backstage Segment

Candace LaRae is seen backstage with Indi Hartwell, giving her a pep talk before her match with Sonya Deville.

Candace LaRae: “You’ve got this, Indi. Just stay focused and give it your all out there.”

 

Piper’s Pit

The ring is set up for Piper’s Pit, with Rowdy Roddy Piper already inside, holding a microphone.

Roddy Piper: “Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Piper’s Pit! Tonight, my guest is none other than the Intercontinental Champion, Drew McIntyre!”

Drew McIntyre’s music hits, and he makes his way to the ring, holding the Intercontinental Championship proudly.

Roddy Piper: “Drew, you’ve been on an incredible run as Intercontinental Champion. How do you feel about the competition here in NXT?”

Drew McIntyre: “Roddy, the competition is fierce, but I’m here to prove that I’m the best. Anyone who wants a shot at this title better bring their A-game.”

The segment continues with witty banter and humorous exchanges, showcasing Piper’s legendary mic skills and McIntyre’s charisma.

 

Match 2: Sonya Deville vs. Indi Hartwell

Sonya Deville makes her entrance, followed by Indi Hartwell. The Dominatrix accompanies Sonya to the ring, carrying a small bottle.

Match Highlights:

  • The match is intense, with both competitors giving it their all.
  • At a crucial moment, The Dominatrix discreetly rubs slick oil on Sonya’s legs.
  • Indi goes for a pin, but Sonya slips out due to the oil, quickly reversing the situation.

Winner: Sonya Deville

 

Lexis King’s Message

The screen cuts to a dark, eerie video from Lexis King’s home. The NXT Champion sits in a dimly lit room, looking directly into the camera.

Lexis King: “Karrion Kross, you think you’re unstoppable. You think you can take me out and get away with it. But mark my words, this is far from over. You’ve crossed a line, and I promise you, I will put an end to your reign of terror. Watch your back, Kross.”

The screen fades to black, leaving an ominous feeling in the air.

 

Johnny Knoxville and Pete the Referee

Johnny Knoxville is backstage, setting up a series of comedic traps and pranks. Pete the Referee, unsuspecting, walks into the scene.

Johnny Knoxville: “Hey Pete, can you give me a hand with this?”

Pete agrees, unknowingly setting off a series of hilarious pranks, including a bucket of water falling on his head and a whoopee cushion on his chair.

Pete the Referee: “Knoxville, you’re gonna pay for this!”

The segment ends with both men laughing, providing a light-hearted moment in the show.

 

Main Event: Jeff Jarrett vs. Karrion Kross

Jeff Jarrett makes his entrance with his signature guitar, followed by the menacing Karrion Kross.

Match Highlights:

  • The match is brutal, with Kross showcasing his dominance and Jarrett using his veteran experience to fight back.
  • Despite Jarrett’s efforts, Kross proves too powerful, eventually locking in the Kross Jacket submission.

Winner: Karrion Kross

After the match, Kross continues his assault on Jarrett, viciously attacking him and leaving him injured in the ring. EMTs rush out to tend to Jarrett as Kross stands tall, looking unstoppable.

The show ends with Kross standing over the fallen Jarrett, the crowd in shock at the brutality of the attack.
