Opening Segment:
The show opens with a video of the LWO (Rey Mysterio, Santos Escobar, Andrade, Carlito, and Angel Garza) walking down the beach in Cabo San Lucas. Rey looks into the camera and says “this is the faction you have been waiting for! Viva La Raza!” The camera pans to the packed crowd at the arena.
Commentary:
- Pat McAfee: “Welcome to WWE Smackdown! We’ve got an incredible show lined up tonight!”
- Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler: “That’s right, Pat! With The Rock and the Bloodline in the building, anything is possible!”
In-Ring Segment:
The Rock stands in the center of the ring, accompanied by Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso. The crowd is a mix of cheers and boos as The Rock raises the WWE Championship high
.
- The Rock: “Finally, The Rock has come back to Smackdown! And let The Rock make one thing perfectly clear: nobody on God’s green earth can defeat The Rock!”
The crowd erupts as Main Event Jey Uso’s theme music hits. Jey Uso makes his way to the ring, staring down The Rock
.
- Jey Uso: “You say nobody can beat you, Rock? Well, I can. And I will take that title off of you. Yeet!”
The tension between the two is off the charts as they stare each other down.
Backstage Segment:
CEO Murrey is seen talking to GM William Regal. Murrey looks confident as he addresses the camera.
- CEO Murrey: “Let me tell you something, Regal. I’m not scared of that ménage à trois that’s running ULW.”
William Regal looks confused and then corrects him.
- William Regal: “You mean the Triad.”
- CEO Murrey: “Yeah, that. Either way, I’m not scared of them. Just like I was never scared of Mickey Mouse, but the secret puppeteer controlling Mickey. His name was Dan.”
Regal looks intrigued.
- William Regal: “Bloody hell!”
- CEO Murrey: “This Dan has an Only Dans page and is a closet fascist.”
Regal shakes his head in disbelief as the segment ends with Murrey smirking.
Match 1: The Street Profits (c) vs. Rob Van Dam & Flex Fuller (with Doc Brown)
Doc Brown accompanies Flex Fuller to the ring, dressed in his iconic white lab coat and holding a flux capacitor. The Street Profits defend their WWE Tag Team Championships in a thrilling match. Rob Van Dam and Flex Fuller put up a strong fight, with Doc Brown providing comedic relief at ringside, shouting things like, “Flex, you need 1.21 gigawatts of power!” Ultimately, The Street Profits retain their titles after hitting the Doomsday Device on Flex Fuller.
Backstage Segment:
Doc Brown is seen frantically adjusting the flux capacitor in Flex Fuller’s locker room.
- Doc Brown: “Flex, we need to get you back to the future where you actually win a match!”
Flex Fuller looks confused but determined.
Match 2: Solo Sikoa vs. DDP
Solo Sikoa faces DDP in a hard-hitting contest. Despite DDP’s resilience and experience, Solo Sikoa picks up the win with a Samoan Spike.
Backstage Segment:
Jimmy Uso is seen hyping up Solo Sikoa for his victory. They are interrupted by Jey Uso, who reminds them that he’s coming for The Rock’s title.
CEO Murrey is seen backstage again, this time talking to GM Regal about his theories.
- CEO Murrey: “You know, Regal, this Dan guy was pulling the strings all along. People thought Mickey was in charge, but it was always Dan!”
Regal chuckles and shakes his head.
- William Regal: “Murrey, you truly are something else. Has Pete recovered yet?”
- CEO Murrey: “Who?”
Main Event: Jey Uso vs. Jimmy Uso
In a high-stakes main event, Jey Uso faces his brother Jimmy Uso. The match is intense, with both men giving it their all. The Rock and Solo Sikoa watch from ringside, adding to the tension. Jey Uso wins after hitting a Superkick followed by an Uso Splash.
After the match, Jey Uso grabs a microphone and stands tall in the ring.
- Jey Uso: “Rock, I just proved why I deserve a shot at that title. Time to put up or shut the hell up!”
The show ends with Jey Uso staring down The Rock, who holds up the WWE Championship defiantly.
Commentary:
- Pat McAfee: “What a night! Jey Uso has made his intentions clear. He wants the WWE Championship!”
- Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler: “I can’t wait, Pat! This is going to be explosive!”
The WWE Smackdown logo flashes as the show goes off the air.
