Opening Segment
[The WWE Raw theme music blares through the arena as the crowd roars with excitement. The camera pans over the cheering fans before focusing on the commentary team of Jerry “The King” Lawler and Pat McAfee.]
Jerry Lawler: Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to another thrilling episode of Monday Night Raw! I’m Jerry “The King” Lawler, and alongside me is the one and only Pat McAfee. We’ve got an incredible show for you tonight!
Pat McAfee: That’s right, King! Tonight, we’ll hear from CEO Murrey regarding WWE’s recent hiatus for the Olympics, and we’ve got some amazing matches lined up as well!
[The camera shifts to the ring where WWE General Manager Eric Bischoff stands with a microphone in hand, alongside CEO Murrey.]
Eric Bischoff: Welcome to Monday Night Raw! Before we get to the action, I’d like to introduce our CEO, Mr.Murrey, who has an important announcement to make.
Murrey: Thank you, Eric. Ladies and gentlemen, as you all know, the Olympics are going on right now. In support of our athletes and the spirit of the games, WWE took a short hiatus to allow our fans to enjoy the Olympics. However, there’s been some controversy with another wrestling promotion, ULW, choosing not to take a break. Quite frankly, it’s un-American. We’re proud to support our athletes and give our fans the chance to enjoy the Olympics without distraction. They refer to some stupid clock that nobody cares about. If said clock does whatever it is supposed to do..fly away…or combust..the WWE will still be running shows.
[The crowd cheers, showing their support for the WWE.]
Murrey: But don’t worry, because tonight, we have an unforgettable show planned for you! Let’s get to it, Eric!
Eric Bischoff: You heard the man! Let’s kick things off with our first match!
