Bulletpoint Summary for the first ULW Extreme Aggression on July 22, 2024:
Extreme Aggression (7.22.24)
- IRS and Dibiase arrived in the cold open as IRS wondered why Dibiase was so calm
- Dibiase responded by noting that he has figured out this whole game plan, and that he is actually playing “the long game”, IRS expressed his confidence in Dibiase, noting their long-tenured friendship
- Attitude wasn’t as impressed though. He demanded to know where he fit in with this plan, and Dibiase noted that he is part of the plan; which is why he wasn’t drafted away (promising that Attitude will be champion again, soon)
- Attitude expressed his doubts, but Dibiase reassured him, noting that this company is all about him
- Attitude pointed out that Priest stands in their way, but Dibiase said that he had that under control
- Splidder then arrived wanting to know why he was here, and Dibiase remarked that Splidder has some valuable insight into the thinking of BWM Inc.
- Splidder expressed that he may not be willing to cooperate, but Dibiase (after denigrating Splidder, and saying that he has been long forgotten) noted that he would get the information he wanted one way or another
- Attitude was curious as to why he was so confident, and Dibiase reiterated what he said earlier: “the long game”
- In the opening bout of the match, Mandy Rose took advantage of the Extreme League rules to retain her International Championship over Charlotte Flair
- We cut from commercial and see Saguna being comforted by Big Show
- He was upset that “she wouldn’t look at [him]”, and Show tried to reason with him, saying it was unreasonable to expect a rekindling of the old flame with Molly
- Saguna pushed back, saying it wasn’t Molly that he was talking about, but Lady Love, instead!
- Show grew angry and violent with Saguna, saying that he was trying to get back with Love, too!
- They argued over the fact that Love wanted neither of them, and Saguna pleaded for show to kill him, since he can’t live without her
- Show demanded to know how the team would work since they are both still obsessed with her
- Saguna noted that they have to seek the help of the man who “figured out how to ignore all of her advances”
- Upon returning to the ring, Ric Venom rants about how he was going to be sick, until Ross pointed out that there was no way that Venom was over her…Venom didn’t deny it
- The Ladies Man then made an unscheduled appearance, and revealed that he has his very own talk show coming soon!
- He noted that his primary goal tonight was to address the man who defeated him last week “the Absolute fuckery, Ricky Starks!”
- Ladies Man claimed that his confusion over not having music last week cost him his match, he then said that he will defeat Starks if they ever cross paths again, and then Starks barged in, attacking him, and triggering an impromptu match which was again won by Starks!!
- Ladies Man protested the outcome again as the music of AOP played and Ladies Man fled!
- In the next match, AOP defeated the Acolytes after injuring Bradshaw’s tailbone with a super atomic drop to the outside!
- After the break, Ronda Rousey stopped the Women’s Champion, Jade Cargill, in the hallway
- Jade told her to “bring it”, but Rousey reiterated what she said at the live event earlier – that she could have ended the careers of Jade, Angelina Love, Becky Lynch, and Sherri Martel, if she wanted to -, and then she followed that up by saying that she will be the Women’s Champion when she feels the time is right!
- Next, we see an installment of “Up to Date” wherein it was revealed as to whom the participants will be in the Premier 8 Match next week to crown the new Premier Champion: Samoa Joe, Kushida, Raphael, Blade, Billy Kidman, Christian Cage, Mystico, and the recently-reinstated Carmelo Hayes!
- Additionally, it was announced that the winner of Angelina Love and Becky Lynch will challenge Jade Cargill for the Women’s Title next week!! Then, in that match, Angelina Love shockingly defeated Becky Lynch after a hellacious encounter!!
- Finally, in the main event, Jon Moxley defended his Extreme Championship against Homicide and Bam Bam Bigelow in an incredible showdown which saw Homicide steal the show, Bam Bam injured by Homicide, and Moxley survive with a successful defense!
- After the match, but before the conclusion, we see footage of the Vice Commissioner of ULW, Dr. Evil, sitting down with Jackie Mouse
- Jackie was curious about Evil’s wound from earlier in the night, but Evil insisted that it was ok as he proceeded to ask her about her lack of ability to sleep and concentrate recently
- She reminded him of their trust-based open communication and asked again about the eye, and Evil mentioned that someone who thinks they are Russian did it
- Jackie asked if he wanted her to handle him, and he said that he has it under control as he asked if her recent problems had anything to do with Sister Abigail, and Jackie sat up in shock and returning to her uncomfortable stance
- Evil insisted that it was ok, and Jackie noted that she didn’t feel like her self sometimes, and that she hears “his voice” all of the time
- Evil was curious about this, pointing out that Abigail is a woman, but Jackie said that it was not the exact same thing
- Evil pushed forward for more information, as a faint voice could be heard in the background, and as she prepared to say more, a snap of the finger sent us to darkness and ended the show!
