About three hours ago, the ratings report for Monday, July 8th, 2024 came in and revealed that AEW picked up the victory. In response, Triad Member Dibiase had no comment, but Brown and Mouse had the following to say in this joint statement:
“Now that we got the premieres out of the way, the picture is becoming clearer with each battle: this era will belong to no one outright, at least not at this early juncture. Going in, we knew that we would have our work cut out for us, and the end result of this first three-way dance of the new era was a prime example of that.
Our competition – whether it is AEW or WWE – or stiff. This era promises to be the most competitive in industry history, and we are proud to be a part of it. We plan to make ULW THE best wrestling company on Earth by treating every week like it is all-or-nothing. Every match will have meaning. Every story will have depth. Every single second of ULW program will matter.
This isn’t Mmouse Enterprises. This isn’t Brown Inc. Next Monday will feature ULW with a brand new look because this is a brand new day and we are excited to be on this journey with you!”
Additionally, there are a few more details to share:
LA Knight is expected to be out of action for up to two months, maybe longer, due to the extent of his injuries. This is why he was forced to vacate his title and the reason why Mr. Hayes was promptly suspended for his actions.
Moreover, the card for Monday’s “Premier Aggression” was officially released alongside this preview authorized by the ULW Cabinet (signed by Vice Commissioner Evil):
“After a stellar set of nights introducing the world to Undisputed League Wrestling, the fun will continue as ULW presents the premiere episode of ‘Premier Aggression’! On July 15th, 2024, ULW will offer a set of 4 great matches for all of you!
The opening bout on the evening will feature the legendary and controversial Ladies Man – who wrestles outside of BWM Inc. for the first time in 16 years – as he takes on the up and coming former Internet Champions, Ricky Starks!
Next, in a dream match of beastly proportions, Beth Phoenix will look to get a bit of revenge against the first women’s wrestling phenom, the monstrous Living Dead Girl!
The women’s action continues onward, though, as Jade Cargill puts the Women’s Title on the line against the insurgent AJ Lee!!”
We will also be treated to a special announcement by the retiring Dragonfly related to his decision on his final match as well as a potentially combustible installment of 4:20 when Jesse Hash confronts CM Punk!
And finally, in our Main Event, a shot at the Undisputed Championship will be decided by pitting Randy Orton, Kevin Owens, Matt Cardona, Chris Jericho, the Giant Gonzales, and Sting against one another in a Massacre Six Match!!
