BREAKING NEWS: Preparing for WOW Week 2024

BREAKING NEWS:

As the industry prepares for the annual interpromotional festivities under the World of Wrestling Banner, The Triad was asked during a business meeting what else ULW plans to do outside of the announced match for the Premier Championship. In response, Ted Dibiase offered the following thoughts:

“We have been discussing just that, and while it is unclear whether we get one or two more matches – since we have left the decision up to Megan and Sami as to whether they want to host the Bliss v. Banks match (note: this was said hours before it was decided by the WOW that this match would not count against either company’s set of matches) -, we do know one thing that we absolutely want to have a match for the Undisputed Championship of the World. Randy Orton is a great champion, and we are proud to have him representing our company, but we think it is crucial to have our world title defended at every major event.

Having said that, we also want to show our appreciation for others and what they have sacrificed to ensure that this industry lived to see another era. I, personally, can think of no living person who sacrificed more to protect the business than the man who I think is the most deserving to challenge for Orton’s Title: Bray Wyatt.”

After the Triad’s announcement pertinent to the Undisputed Title match on June 21st, at Starrcade, Ted Brown then offered his own thoughts regarding the Award Show which will open the festivities on that last night of action:

“It is crazy to think that it has been almost 19 and a half years since the last installment of the WOW Awards, and with the WOW Organization decreeing that in addition to 10 WOW Awards, each company will get up to five awards of their own to distribute. So, the three of us have agreed on a set of five Cash Mouse Entertainment Awards alongside a set of nominees for each.”

The Triad then assured us that their secretary would forward the information to us by the end of the night, and that is exactly what we got:

All Five Awards would be inclusive of both HCW and PWI, and would focus on the entirety of the Sixth Era –
