The camera fades in to reveal Taz and Renee Young standing in front of the AEW Dark backdrop, a mix of anticipation and concern evident on their faces.
Taz: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to AEW Dark! I’m Taz, alongside the always delightful Renee Young. Renee, it’s been quite the rollercoaster since Monday night on Dynamite, hasn’t it?
Renee Young: Oh, absolutely, Taz. The scenes we witnessed on Dynamite are still sending shockwaves throughout the wrestling world. BWM Inc. Chairman’s reprehensible actions towards his ex-wife have left us all reeling. But the arrival of Splinter and his announcement regarding the investigation into Benny Mouse has only added more fuel to the fire.
Taz: That’s right, Renee. And let’s not forget, this investigation has been ongoing since January. It’s been shrouded in mystery, but now with Splinter’s intervention, the tension is at a boiling point. If the board didn’t find cause for a vote of no confidence before Monday, you can bet they’re reassessing their stance now.
Renee Young: Absolutely, Taz. And let’s not overlook the other bombshells dropped en route to last Monday. Benny Mouse’s struggle with dementia and the revelation that Megan Mouse is indeed his biological daughter have added even more layers to this already complex situation.
Taz: It’s a tangled web, Renee, and we’re right in the middle of it. But what’s perhaps most concerning is the cryptic message from Benny and Sami Zayn about their so-called “worst thing” plan. What could it be? What could possibly top everything we’ve seen thus far?
Renee Young: That’s the million-dollar question, Taz. And with Monday night looming, the anticipation is at an all-time high. Whatever Benny and Sami have up their sleeves, it’s bound to shake the very foundations of AEW and the industry, assuming they survive the investigation.
Taz and Renee Young are suddenly interrupted as Logan Paul’s entrance music hits, and the controversial figure makes his way out, proudly displaying the Internet Championship over his shoulder.
Taz: Well, would you look at that! It seems we have an unexpected guest here on AEW Dark.
Renee Young: Indeed, Taz. Logan Paul, the current holder of the Internet Championship, making an appearance here tonight. You never know who’s going to show up on Dark!
Logan Paul enters the ring with his trademarked swagger, as he reaches for a microphone.
Logan Paul: What’s up, AEW Dark?
Logan lifts the Internet Championship high above his head, receiving a chorus of boos as he smirks.
Logan Paul: Now, I know what you’re thinking. “What’s Logan Paul doing here?” Well, let me tell you, ever since I won this beautiful title from the ‘Absolute Loser’ Ricky Starks at New Horizons, I’ve hardly had a moment to appreciate it. Been too busy helping out my boy, MJF, you know?
Taz: [Skeptically] Yeah, we know.
Logan Paul: But lately, there’s been a lot of chatter about this title. Some people saying it doesn’t have enough prestige, that it’s not worthy of the man who holds it. Well, let me set the record straight. If Logan Paul is holding this belt, you better believe it’s got value. It’s not like it’s the European Championship or something silly.
Renee Young: Strong words from the Internet Champion.
Logan Paul: So, I thought to myself, what better way to elevate this championship than by defending it right here on AEW Dark? The only online-only wrestling show in the industry! That’s right, folks, I’m issuing an open challenge for my gold! Who’s got the guts to step up and take on Logan Paul?
Sammy Guevara’s music hits, and the crowd erupts into cheers as he emerges, determined and focused, making his way down to the ring to answer Logan Paul’s open challenge.
Taz: Well, well, well! Look who’s decided to step up to the plate! It’s Sammy Guevara!
Renee Young: This could be a huge opportunity for Sammy to make a statement here tonight on AEW Dark.
Sammy enters the ring, locking eyes with Logan Paul, who starts laughing almost immediately, unable to contain his amusement.
Logan Paul: [Laughing mockingly] Oh, come on now! Are you serious? Aren’t you the guy who always loses? What makes you think you’re worthy of stepping in the ring with me?
The crowd boos at Logan’s disrespectful remarks as Sammy grits his teeth, clearly not amused by the taunting.
Logan Paul: And hey, Sammy, you probably should have followed Chris Jericho to WWE, because there’s no room here in AEW for Jericho’s lackeys anymore!
Sammy’s expression darkens at the mention of Jericho, but he remains composed.
Sammy Guevara: Look, Logan, I’ll admit, I’ve had a rough start here in AEW. But I have a feeling my luck is about to change, starting right here, right now.
Logan chuckles dismissively, shaking his head.
Logan Paul: Sorry, kid, but you’re just not worthy. Worthy of me, or worthy of this Internet Championship. Open challenge canceled due to lack of interest.
Sammy’s frustration boils over, and he clenches his fists, ready to fight. But Logan smirks and exits the ring, leaving Sammy seething as the scene fades to black, leaving fans wondering what’s next for the Internet Championship and Sammy Guevara.
Match #1 | Tag Team Exhibition
The Outsiders vs. Yokozuna & Umaga
Back at ringside after a brief break, the crowd pops big for High Minded’s The Outsiders, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall. Across from them are the behemoths Yokozuna and Umaga, representing the Bloodline. The bell sounds and the match is underway.
Renee Young: Folks, we’ve got an explosive match-up here tonight, but I can’t shake the feeling that The Outsiders might not be fully focused.
Taz: You’re absolutely right, Renee. After the brutal assault on Midget Hogan by the Usos, The Outsiders are understandably shaken. Last we heard, Midget Hogan remains hospitalized, and it’s clear that his absence is weighing heavily on Nash and Hall.
Renee Young: High Minded has been a thorn in the side of the Bloodline for months now, and as Roman Reigns turns his sights to the World Heavyweight Champion MJF, you have to bet he’s ready to rid himself of High Minded and refocus the Bloodline.
In the ring, Nash and Yokozuna start things off, each man eyeing the other warily. Nash goes for a lock-up, but Yokozuna quickly overpowers him with his immense strength, sending Nash stumbling back into the corner. Umaga tags in, and the Samoan Bulldozer wastes no time unleashing a barrage of strikes on Nash, driving him to the mat.
Renee Young: The Bloodline wasting no time asserting their dominance here tonight.
Taz: Nash and Hall need to regroup if they have any hope of turning this match around.
As Umaga continues to pummel Nash, Hall rallies his partner from the corner, urging him to fight back. Nash manages to create some space and tags in Hall, who enters the ring with fire in his eyes. Hall trades blows with Umaga, but Umaga seems unfazed.
Despite Hall’s valiant effort, Umaga gains the upper hand, delivering a devastating Samoan Drop that leaves Hall sprawled out on the mat. Yokozuna tags back in, and Umaga drills Hall with the Samoan Spike as Yokozuna flies off the second rope with the Bonsai Drop.
Renee Young: This could be it!
The referee counts… 1… 2… 3!!!
Renee Young: The Bloodline picks up the victory tonight, with Yokozuna getting the pinfall on Scott Hall!
As Yokozuna and Umaga celebrate their win, The Outsiders look on, frustration evident on their faces.
Winners: Yokozuna & Umaga
Match Time: 12:54

Match #2 | Exhibition Match
Nia Jax vs. Ember Moon
Renee Young and Taz go over the Dynamite preview video we just witnessed, and recap the unquestionable impact that the Ring General Gunther has made since arriving on scene in AEW two weeks ago, attacking the TV Champion Cody Rhodes. They discuss Swerve Strickland’s involvement, and his remarks last week on Dark as the introductions are made.
Renee Young: And here we are, folks, it’s time for the main event of AEW Dark, where Ember Moon looks to put an end to Nia Jax’s impressive 3-0 victory streak.
Taz: Ember Moon is a former Knockouts Champion, Renee, and she’s looking to remind everyone why she’s considered one of the best in the business. But she’s got her work cut out for her tonight against the Nia Jax, who’s been much more focused as of late.
The bell rings, and the match is underway. Ember Moon wastes no time, launching herself at Nia Jax with quick strikes, trying to keep the bigger woman off balance. But Nia Jax quickly asserts her dominance, using her size and strength to overpower Ember Moon at every turn.
Taz: Nia Jax has been on an absolute tear lately, Renee. It’s going to take everything Ember has to even stand a chance against her.
Despite Ember’s resilience, Nia Jax continues to dominate the match, shrugging off Ember’s attacks and delivering punishing blows of her own. Ember tries to mount a comeback, but Nia’s just too powerful.
Renee Young: Nia Jax is a force to be reckoned with. Ember Moon is finding out firsthand just how unstoppable she can be.
As the match reaches its climax, Nia Jax hoists Ember Moon up onto her shoulders, delivering her devastating finishing move, the Exclamation Point, with thunderous impact. The referee counts the pinfall and that’s all she wrote!
Renee Young: Nia Jax remains on a hot streak with another impressive victory here on AEW Dark!
Taz: Ember Moon gave it her all, but tonight, Nia Jax proves once again why she’s one of the most dominant forces in professional wrestling.
Winner: Nia Jax
Match Time: 7:55
As Nia Jax stands tall in the ring, Ember Moon approaches her, extending a hand in a show of sportsmanship and respect. The crowd watches with anticipation, hoping to witness a moment of mutual admiration between the two competitors.
Renee Young: It looks like Ember Moon is offering a handshake to Nia Jax, a sign of respect after a hard-fought battle.
Taz: That’s a classy move by Ember, Renee. Let’s see if Nia reciprocates.
Nia Jax, appearing to accept the gesture, reaches out as if to shake Ember’s hand. But just as their hands meet, Nia’s demeanor suddenly changes. Without warning, she viciously attacks Ember, catching her off guard and sending her crashing to the mat with a brutal Samoan Drop. The crowd gasps in shock at the sudden betrayal.
Taz: Nia Jax blindsiding Ember Moon with a vicious assault! That’s uncalled for!
As Ember lies motionless on the mat, Nia stands over her, a look of ruthless determination in her eyes. Off-mic, she can be heard declaring her dominance.
Nia Jax [off-mic]: I’m the strongest women’s wrestler alive, and I’m coming for the Knockouts title!
As Jax continues her trash talk, Renee Young and Taz thank everyone for tuning in to another episode of Dark, and say we’ll be back Monday for Dynamite!
