Jerry Lawler: We’re live from a sold-out PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, PA! What a night we have in store, Pat McAfee!

Pat McAfee: You said it, King! The WWE Universe is absolutely electric tonight as we build toward the massive Backlash pay-per-view.

Lawler: That’s right, Pat. Tonight, we’ll bear witness to the contract signing between the Scottish Warrior Drew McIntyre and the most electrifying man in sports entertainment, The Rock!

McAfee: Can you imagine the intensity when those two alpha males share the ring later tonight?

Main Roster Debut 🌟

Brock Anderson vs Ricochet

The bell rings and Ricochet comes out displaying his typical flashy offense, hitting Brock with a few aerial moves early. Ricochet goes for the Recoil kick, but the rookie Brock Anderson catches his leg!

Anderson then showcases his power, driving Ricochet back-first into the corner with a huge body slam. Brock starts landing heavy strikes and throwing Ricochet around the ring with throws and slams.

Ricochet tries to fight back, nailing a enzuigiri kick and going for another aerial move off the ropes, but Anderson catches him again! The rookie deadlifts Ricochet into a vicious fall-away slam in the center of the ring.

Anderson then hits a stalling vertical suplex that gets a very close two count. He picks Ricochet up looking for his finisher, but Ricochet lands a few forearms to create separation. He goes for the Recoil again, but Anderson shoves him to the mat!

Anderson locks in the Boston Crab! Ricochet has no choice but to tap out as the debuting Brock Anderson gets a huge win over the dazzling high-flyer.

Anderson celebrates his arrival and makes a statement by putting away one of the best in-ring workers on the roster. It’s clear the second-generation star has the athleticism, power, and technique to be a major force!

Backstage, the eccentric Doc Brown is dressed in full George Washington garb – powdered wig, knee breeches, and all

Doc Brown: clears his throat Esteemed United States Champion in waiting, Shinsuke Nakamura!

Nakamura *confused look on his face*

Doc Brown: stands tall, one hand tucked into his waistcoat My fellow Americans! We are gathered here on this most auspicious of days to witness the next great patriot take his rightful place among the stars and stripes!

Doc Brown whips out a tricorn hat and slams it down on Nakamura’s head

Doc Brown: For too long have we suffered the injustice of foreign interlopers claiming OUR most hallowed of championships! But tonight, the King of Strong Style shall be the vanguard to restore liberty’s reign!

Nakamura: adjusting the hat, chuckling Okay, okay…you make good point. I win tonight.

Doc Brown: pounds his fist on his chest HUZZAH! Let freedom ring from the mighty steel steps! Let the sacred turnbuckles tremble with the battle cry of justice! This revolution shall not be televised…for it has a ridiculously expensive pay-per-view price tag!

Doc Brown: Now go forth, my Japanese musketeer, and dethrone the tyrannical despot who dares desecrate Old Glory with their vile presence! MAKE THE United STATES TITLE GREAT AGAIN!

Nakamura: fired up You got it, George Washington-san!

United States Championship tournament match 🌟

Shinsuke Nakamura vs Dominik Mysterio

The bell rings and Dominik Mysterio comes out looking to prove himself against the vaunted King of Strong Style. He uses his quickness early, dodging Nakamura’s strikes and nailing a few running forearms.

Mysterio goes for his Three Amigos suplexes but Nakamura catches him on the third one and drops him with a brutal knee strike! Nakamura starts targeting Dominik’s core with vicious knee strikes and body kicks.

Dominik tries to create separation by leaping off the ropes, but Nakamura catches him with a huge spinning heel kick that drops Mysterio hard! Nakamura starts feeling it and gets cocky, hitting his Michael Jackson dance moves.

Mysterio isn’t staying down though, he keeps kicking out and fires back with more of his high-flying offense. He nails the Three Amigos suplexes and goes for the 619, but Nakamura ducks it!

Nakamura blasts Mysterio with another knee strike then quickly applies the Reverse-blade! Dominik has no choice but to tap out as Nakamura makes him submit to pick up the huge victory.

After the match, Nakamura stands tall and hits his “Your Highness” throat slash taunt as the King of Strong Style reigns supreme again. Dominik showed a lot of heart, but Nakamura’s strikes and submissions were just too much for him to overcome.

Winner: Shinsuke Nakamura

Contract Signing 🌟

The Rock’s iconic music hits and he comes strutting out to a huge ovation

Rock: Finally…The Rock has come back to this shithole!

Drew McIntyre’s theme blares next as the Scottish Warrior makes his way to the ring for the huge contract signing.

Pat McAfee: What an incredible moment we have here tonight! The Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment is set to sign to face the heir apparent, Drew McIntyre, at Backlash!

McIntyre enters the ring and he and The Rock jaw back and forth as the contract laying gets underway. Suddenly, Solo Sikoa’s music hits!

Jerry Lawler: Oh no! Here comes the enforcer for the Bloodline!

Solo attacks Drew from behind and it’s pandemonium! McIntyre and Sikoa start brawling all around the ringside area as The Rock watches on smiling.

Sikoa rams Drew head-first into the steel steps and the two fight into the crowd as officials try to pry them apart. The Rock is left alone in the ring…until….

“Judas” by Fozzy blares over the speakers!

Crowd: HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!

Chris Jericho emerges on the stage, looking directly at The Rock with intensity! He storms down the ramp as The Rock’s smile turns to a look of shock.

Jericho slides into the ring and The Rock throws up his hands in a defensive posture as the two legends stare each other down.

Without warning, Jericho DRILLS The Rock with the CodeBreaker!!

The show goes off the air with Jericho standing over a laid-out Rock as the crowd goes ballistic!
