Hello everyone, Jeff Esiason here, and here we will summarize the final stretch of Premier Wrestling Incorporated, which concludes regardless of the Final Battle’s outcome at Armageddon 4: Mickey’s Endgame on Memorial Day!
THE FINAL WEDNESDAY NIGHT WAR – 3/20/24
After the standard introduction, we are treated to a high-stakes and emotional battle between the 3rd ranked Attraction – representing the Million Dollar Corporation (MDC from here on out) – and the 2nd ranked Hollys to determine who will be the Number One Contenders at Wrestlemania X on April 15th! This showdown features numerous twists and turns as the Hollys initially dominate as they capitalize on the miscommunication between Teo and Attitude. The Hollys cause more mayhem by – on separate occasions – pushing the Attraction into one another, lighting a fire of rage inside Attitude as he gets physical with Teo. Teo is pleading his case all along, and as Teo tries to save Attitude from being taken advantage of by Hardcore Holly, Teo accidentally decks Attitude, sending him to the outside! Teo manages to pull off the victory for their team despite this, but Attitude leaves angry, glaring at Teo and refusing to celebrate with him!
Next, we see Scott Dawson on his cell as Dash Wilder impatiently asks if Dawson could get ahold of “him”. Dawson hung up and said no and started to contemplate something, but Wilder wasn’t happy, noting the craziness of considering this decision. Dawson told him to suit himself as he left the locker room, leaving Wilder to ponder the whole thing.
Terminator was waltzing through the hallway when he stopped in his tracks and appeared startled. Phobe then emerged and chuckled at the fear of his former partner in crime. Terminator pleaded with Phobe to reconsider an attack and Phobe assured him that he won’t touch Terminator, mocking Terminator for betraying him to get relevant again and promising to destroy Brian Cage in the Epic Royale before leaving his old partner behind!
Karrion Kross was seen trying to get Rip’s attention in the parking lot, reminding him that Dibiase wanted a group meeting. Rip reminded Kross of their deal to bring him in, which was apparently meant to also sweeten the deal for Kross to get in the MDC. Rip said that his only “price” was the one thing that he cared about: getting to Slammu to prove him as a fraud. Rip warned that his anger grows the longer he has to wait and the more that endangers everyone else! With Karrion stunned, Rip then left!
In an impressive showing, the legendary Molly Holly defeated a tough Britt Baker, with a little help from Ivory, of course!
AJ Lee was spotted walking slowly and catatonically through the hallway by Paige. Paige was excited to see her up and about. When Paige grabbed Lee’s arm to get her attention, Lee lost her mind and started violently attacking Paige, screaming as if to Becky, asking if this is what Becky wanted and crying about loving Becky. But, once Lee realized it wasn’t Becky, she let go and ran away, asking herself what she just did!
Mystico was waiting for the Undisputed Champion, Dragonfly, as the champ entered the room and went to keep walking. Mystico spoke up and Dragonfly instantly grew annoyed. Mystico remarked that he saw the hint of compassion that Dragonfly showed last week. Dragonfly explained that he only had a brief moment of sorrow for Krusader because he was his old mentor and he “felt bad” that someone else beat him up badly. Mystico pressed forward, though, insisting that he knew that Dragonfly was putting on a show, and despite Dragonfly trying to retort that Mystico only wishes that he knew him, Mystico started to seemingly make sense, noting that he could see that Dragonfly feared Gonzales and that now everyone – especially Gonzales – can see right through him. Mystico reminded Dragonfly that he shouldn’t unnecessarily burn any bridges heading into Global Conflict III and left Dragonfly to stew in the moment!
In the Main Event battle to determine who would join Attitude and Metalhead in the Triple Threat Match on Monday to see who gets a shot at the Undisputed Title at Wrestlemania X, Rhyno and Randy Orton gave us a great in ring war! Orton, though, looked poised to win it all and advance to Global Conflict III until Matt Cardona emerged and jumped on the apron, distracting Earl Hebner. As Orton got up to protest the distraction, Scott Dawson rushed into the ring and started to attack him, and soon so did Dash Wilder! FTR – behind the distracted official’s back, thanks to Cardona – then hit the Big Rig and rolled out of the ring as Rhyno geared up for and nailed a thunderous GORE to score the pinfall victory!!
Cardona and FTR didn’t wait long, though, for Rhyno to celebrate as they rushed into the ring, cleared it of Rhyno and chased Hebner away. They then attacked Orton again as Cardona declared that “this isn’t over” and – with the assistance of FTR – nailed a Radio Silence on the Viper!
As the final installment of Wednesday Night War concluded, FTR and Cardona raised their hands with Orton laid out on the mat and a clearer picture for Global Conflict III!!
GLOBAL CONFLICT III: THE EPIC – 3/25/24
The show kicked off with the Firefly Funhouse. Bray was standing over Alexa Bliss and told her to “wake up”. When she finally did, she asked where she was and Bray spoke up, suggesting that she knows precisely where they are. She then started to get scared, saying that she didn’t understand, noting that she did everything she was told to do. Bray remarked that she didn’t actually do everything she was supposed to because he defied him. He then grabbed her and proclaimed that he had to remove her “gift” as he applied the Mandible Claw!
However, she started to giggle and managed to get upright again much to his shock! He asked how she was doing this and she declared that she didn’t serve him. In fact, she resurrected Bray to serve someone else…looking over to the doll “Abby the Witch”. Bray was confused and began to question what was going on. Alexa explained that she was under the influence of someone who “wants vengeance” for what Bray did to “her”, commenting that she was not influenced by Bray, but possessed by his very own sister! She then attacked Bray, telling him that Abigail says hi and hitting him with the Sister Abigail! Then, with Alexa fully revealing herself, she took over the Funhouse, declaring it as “her playground now!”
After the video package, we are treated the opening bout, the Death From Above Match to determine the final challenger for the Women’s Title at Armageddon 4! The match was hard fought, featuring Jade Cargill shocking everyone by first eliminating Charlotte Flair! Indi Hartwell fought valiantly, but succumbed to the cunning of Liv Morgan, who eliminated her! Then, despite Liv’s best efforts, Jade Cargill sent Liv falling to the mat below to be declared the winner and true number one contender!
Teo was trying to keep up with Attitude, who was very upset with Teo for punching him in the face on Wednesday. Attitude insisted that Teo secretly wanted to do it and was a constant pest. Teo said he is rooting for his partner, wants him to win tonight and at Wrestlemania, and especially wants their team to be successful. Attitude demanded that Teo stay behind and promised to see him at Wrestlemania!
Cameras then catch a smoke-out unfolding, as Granddaddy Duxen, Jesse Hash, Crock, and Don Sparking – still convinced that he was a dog – were baking under the influence of some 4:20! They discussed the Epic Royale and how they might have missed the deadline to sign up for it, but they are soon joined by Anthony! Anthony gets in on the action, but Thomas also comes in and is less than impressed. He comments on the atrocity of PWI’s Duxen hanging out with HCW talent. Duxen tells him to chill out, but Thomas is outraged, leaving out of anger and promising to report this to Brown immediately! They are still having fun, though, and are soon joined by USWA legends, Johnny Quest, Adam, and Space Adam!! The Lightheavyweight icons of times past join their friends in the smokefest as they watch the next match begin!
The next match is set to begin, pitting HCW’s Metalhead against PWI’s Rhyno and MDC’s 1st ranked Attitude for a chance to challenge for the Undisputed Title at Wrestlemania X! The match is a bit of a show-stealer as each man dominates for a moment, but Teo intervenes despite Attitude’s warnings, saving Attitude from certain doom. Attitude throws a fit and orders Teo to leave. The chaos continues and Attitude secures control, but momentum swings again against him. This lead Teo to again defy his friend to try to help and when Attitude realizes what’s happening he gets physical with Teo. The insanity soon culminates in an exchange wherein Teo again accidentally clobbers Attitude in an attempt to save him from Rhyno! Rhyno tosses Teo out of the ring and is caught off guard by an Acid Drop from Metalhead which unintentionally causes Metalhead and Rhyno to simultaneously cover Attitude for the dual win!
After the match, Attitude scowls at Teo as he leaves the ringside area!
We see Maryse getting annoyed at Penelope Ford and Jamie Hayter arguing again. Maryse interjects herself into the near-fight, demanding that they restore their focus. She blames their bickering on the fact that Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross have been successful as of late with the mindgames. She lectures them about the need to protect their dominance, but the lights go out again and when they come back on, Nikki Cross is behind Maryse with a smile on her face. Maryse is startled as Nikki slowly and creepily approaches, telling her that he time…is…up! The lights flicker again to reveal that Nikki has disappeared and leaving Picture Perfect feeling very uncomfortable.
Dragonfly is interviewed by Lawrence Mason and is asked if he has thought about what Mystico said 5 days ago. Dragonfly goes into a rant, dropping the title on the floor in the process, remarking that he makes this title and everything he touches “Undisputed”. He comments on how he sincerely believes that he is the unquestioned GOAT of the industry and that that fact will not change regardless of the outcome of tonight or any match. He says that his cousins are trying to stay relevant by latching on to his coattails and that he doesn’t need their help, anyone’s help, nor anyone’s validation for what he believes to be true. He promises to defend this belief against anyone and promises to show the Giant Gonzales what he is made of!
Following the 1st ranked Alexa Bliss’s entrance, the Women’s Champion, Maryse comes down to the ring, flanked by Picture Perfect, prepared to defend her title. Yet, when the match is about to begin, the lights go out and soon come back on to reveal that Ford and Hayter are hanging from the rafters!! Maryse panics and tries to save her comrades only to be attacked by Nikki Cross! Then, after the lights flicker again and reveal that it’s just champion and challenger in the ring together, Alexa nails Maryse with a series of Sister Abigails, followed by Twisted Bliss and a pinfall to become a 3 time Women’s Champion!
We then see Aiden English talking with the Duct Tape Men about his troubles. Noting that he has been threatened with lawsuits for appearing on TV without a table, he pleads with them to help him find a way out. Uno and Dos then share how they resolved their problems, by finding the ancient secrets of the “Order of DT”. English scoffs when they reveal that Duct Tape solved all of their problems and catapulted them into greatness, but they persisted, telling him that he can follow their path, become “Number Four” and soon earn his Spanish DT Name “Quatro”! He was confused about how and they told him that he must face his fear: Dexter Lumis, who they invited to test his mettle! However, upon seeing Lumis, English crumbled, falling victim to the Silence as the Duct Tape Men left, promising that his moment will come soon!
Ted Dibiase was conversing with Karrion Kross, demanding that he gain control of their asset. Dibiase reminded Karrion of their arrangement and stated that Kross must get this job done to protect his place in the MDC as well as the future of their plans! Kross nodded to acknowledge that he understood and we were off to the 40 Man Epic Royale!
The next match was the 40 Man Epic Royale to determine the final challenger for the Undisputed Championship at Armageddon 4! The match kicked off with Seth Rollins at #1, joined by Cameron Grimes, John Cena, and Mystico! Grimes fell victim to being the first one eliminated and the next 36 entrants brought about a great deal of chaos!
One of the surprises was in the legends which made surprise appearances: Bad News Brown, England Boxer, Freak of Nature, HBP – who battled it out with HBK, and winding up getting eliminated thereby -, Slipper, and the first ever WPW Champion (and thus the first world champion representing Mmouse Enterprises) Garz Gargoyale! The entertainment and surprises were off the charts, including Slammu’s return to his roots when he came out to his first entrance music, the Mortal Kombat theme at number 24!
Brian Cage entered at number 13 and wreaked a great deal of havoc until Phobe came in at number 17! Terminator was temporarily out of the picture after he responded to Ghostrider blindsiding him, tossed him out and fought him to the back. So, Terminator initially couldn’t help Cage as Phobe unleashed hell on him, as promised! However, when Terminator finally did get back and tried to help Cage, Phobe dispensed with him easily, leading Cage to surprise him with an elimination! Phobe didn’t just stand there, though, as he grabbed Cage and chokeslammed him over and out of the ring!
Slammu entering at 24 aided him for the moment as well, as he reminded everyone why he was so dominant in era’s past! He was having the time of his life until…Rip entered in at number 25! Slammu seemed like he had seen a ghost and left the ring as his demented brother entered and insisted that they fight. The chaos of the match happened around them, though, including Matt Cardona joining at number 27 and Shawn Spears attacking him at number 28! Randy Orton came in at number 21 himself and was more than happy to join Spears in attacking Cardona.
With Rip’s pursuit of Slammu keeping him from the goal of winning, Karrion Kross entering at number 29 was meant to get his monster back on track, but Rip was having none of it, soon eliminating Kross out of defiance! Slammer also joined the fun at number 32 and we saw a first time ever three way dance between the 3 iconic sharks! Slammer, though, wasn’t in it for long, and Rip not for much longer! Capitalizing on a brief distraction, Slammu reluctantly engaged his brother, eliminating him once and for all!
Rip was out of the picture from then on, but Slammu wasn’t destined to win, suffering a heartbreaking elimination himself as well. Also, Bam Bam Bigelow got involved at number 34 and was followed by an excited R Truth at number 35! Truth shocked everyone by eliminating “Bronson Reed”, but was aghast by “Johnny Lawrence” (not really) taking him out of the match!
Shawn Spears fell victim to an assault from FTR, as they came to the aide of Matt Cardona, assisting in Shawn’s elimination, and as they continued their assault on Spears outside, the officials rushed to break it up. In the midst of this, Orton tossed Cardona out of the ring, but no official witnessed it! Cardona slid back in the ring as the commotion outside on the other side came to an end and resumed his disruptive participation!
LA Knight topped off the entries as 40th and final man to join, and it is noteworthy that Seth Rollins made it more than halfway before finally being taken out. The match itself came to its final four with Cardona, Orton, Big Show (who entered at number 38), and Knight sharing the ring in the end! Show was eliminated after an impressive showing, and Knight was next at the hands of Cardona, but as Orton was set to throw Cardona out again, Dragonfly emerged from under the ring and stopped Orton, giving Cardona enough time to send Orton over the top! Then, with Orton seething and Dragonfly mockingly waving “goodbye”, Cardona celebrated his stolen victory!!
Mr. Kennedy was preparing to leave the arena when he was met face to face with Hans Gustav. Gustav told Kennedy that he was now going to face him. Kennedy pleaded and said that he wanted this to end. Gustav said they would have to have a “neck break off” to prove who the better man was, and just as Gustav looked to make a move, Johnny Quest and the Adams accidentally interrupted as they exited the building. Gustav stepped aside and demanded that Kennedy take his chance to prove himself. Quest and the Adams were confused as they politely sought to leave only to be victimized by a reluctant Kennedy who snapped all three of their necks! Gustav, proud as can be, then approached the sobbing Kennedy, proclaimed that he had graduated from being the neck-breakee to the neck-breaker and would soon be under his tutorship!
We then spot the Mmouse Enterprises Chairman Mickey M. Mouse pleading his case before the WOW Council for a severe fine against WWE for snagging Danhausen before they were permitted. Chairman Bunny spoke up, noting that Mickey seems to be the only one who cares. Scott Nash, speaking on behalf of HCW, commented that Ted Brown would be here to protest Mickey’s pleas if it weren’t for Mickey dispatching Warrior to nearly end Brown’s life. Mickey protested these “lies” as Nash continued, saying that he and Brown were perfectly fine with Danhausen’s hiring being allowed to stand. Chairman Bunny remarked that AEW also sent a letter against a sanction, and that Mickey seemed to be the only one complaining. Mickey plead his case before the Council – who were just praised by Nash for their contributions to the industry -, asking that they overrule the Chairman. However, the Council – Howard Knuckles, Sgt. Bilko, Donald Duck Junior, and Maxx McMahon – agreed with Chairman Bunny.
This decision sent Mickey into a tirade as Executioner carried him kicking, screaming, threatening, and promising to end the industry soon anyways!
Now came the long-awaited Main Event for the Undisputed Title in the first ever encounter between the 9th ranked Giant Gonzales, representing MDC, and the Champion, HCW’s Dragonfly! Dragonfly fought valiantly, but Gonzales soon took control, destroying Dragonfly with his overwhelming strength!
Yet, as Gonzales readied to finish Dragonfly off, Randy Orton’s music hit, leading Gonzales to drop the champion. After the music suddenly stopped, Orton appeared out of nowhere with a series of RKO’s and a punt to Gonzales, and an RKO on Dragonfly before allowing the champion to retain!
Not even allowing an announcement for the winner, Randy cleared the ring, grabbed the title and Dragonfly, declaring that the champion’s attempts at evading him would ultimately fail to stop their rematch for the gold!!
Randy then dropped the title and Dragonfly and showcased his physique as the incredible show drew to a close!!
APRIL FOOL’S BRAWL – 4/1/24
The show kicks off with a shot from this past Friday of Mickey playing video games as Executioner walks in and interrupts him. Mickey refuses to pay attention to whatever it is that his bodyguard is saying, so Executioner elects to shut off the TV! Mickey loses his shit on Executioner, but Executioner insists that Mickey look at the laptop to see the big news. When Mickey finally does, he freezes in disbelief as he reads that Global Conflict III gave him his first ratings victory in almost 14 years. Mickey starts to exclaim that he is a God again and that he must tell the world, starting with Lenny! As Mickey bursts out of the room to share the news after instructing Executioner to prepare a celebration, Executioner just sighs out of anticipation for what’s to come.
We then fade to Shane McMahon earlier today talking to Executioner about the need for the celebration to be ready. Shane acknowledges the job that he has to do as Executioner takes off. However, before Shane can get to work, Ted Dibiase approaches him, mocks his subservience to Mickey, and then segues to his demand that Giant Gonzales be inserted into the Main Event tonight in lieu of Dragonfly’s “Open Challenge”. Shane pushed back, but Dibiase reminded him that Orton cost Gonzales last week and that we all know that Gonzales would have become champion if that had not happened. With Dragonfly one week away from breaking Teo’s record as the longest reigning world champion in company history, Dibiase made the case for one more match – with everyone banned from ringside – tonight. Shane reluctantly agreed as Giant Gonzales emerged behind him and we faded into the kickoff of the show!
Our opening bout featured a singles bout between Shawn Spears and the Number One Contender, Matt Cardona. Cardona pulled off the victory after a hard fought battle, with the assistance of FTR. After the match, Cardona and FTR used a steel chair to injure the left arm of Spears and went to continue their assault until Randy Orton came out and cleared the ring! FTR and Cardona fled, but with Cardona smirking at Orton for being too late!
Aiden English was spotted slowly approaching Dexter Lumis, who was on his knees with his back to Aiden. Dexter saw Aiden’s shadow and got to his feet. English recoiled, but then tried to stand tough, stating that he had to face his biggest fear – Lumis – in order to become “Number Four”. Dexter seemed to extend a comforting hand and calm Aiden down, but before they could have a moment, Mickey emerged, joyously talking to himself and brandishing fliers for tonight’s celebration. Mickey brushed off Aiden’s violation of the table clause of his contract as he handed him and Dexter a flier, ordering them to be present as he skipped along. Dexter silently looked at the flier as Aiden departed.
Lawrence Mason was standing by with Jade Cargill. Jade was confident as ever and not concerned about the women vying for a Wrestlemania shot at the Women’s gold. She asserted that she was the future of the industry and that no one would be able to deny it soon!
In the Triple Threat Match to determine Alexa’s challenger at Wrestlemania X, the 4th ranked Toni Storm defeated Maryse and a still-healing 5th ranked Charlotte Flair to become the number 2 contender and earn her shot!
Attitude was seen sitting silently watching TV as Teo walked in. Teo tried to be playful as he asked Attitude why he hasn’t been talking to him. Attitude remained silent, though, and Teo was apologetic for last week as he motioned to sit on the couch. It was then that Attitude finally spoke and chided Teo for his ignorance as to why he is so angry with him. He reminded Teo that he has time and again failed him, especially last week. Expressing his doubts that they can function as a team as they challenge for the Tag Gold at Wrestlemania, Attitude demanded one last time that Teo stay out of his way, instructing him to “cut it out” as he stormed out of the room!
Paige was seen talking with Events Commissioner Shane McMahon in his suite. Paige was making her plea to have a match with AJ Lee to “knock some sense into her”. After much deliberation, Shane acquiesced and made the match official for Battle Line. Paige was thankful as she left the room, but Shane wasn’t done with this drama, for AJ herself waltzed in. Lee was curious as to what went down just now and Shane informed her of the match, because Paige was concerned for her mental health. Lee denied having a problem and expressed frustration that no one understood her depression after losing her “best friend”. Shane chimed in and tried to be jovial as he mocked Lee’s confusion, but Lee grew serious and then started laughing hysterically as she left the room. Shane just conveyed how crazy he thought she was as he confirmed that she left and he presumably returned to work on the celebration.
In the Tag Team Title Match, the Young Bucks had their work cut out for them in their defense against Beer Money Inc, especially as the challengers dominated much of the match via isolating Nick Jackson from his brother. However, the momentum violently shifted in the Bucks favor once Matt snuck in a tag, leading to their incredible retention!
Watching on from the back as another set of MDC members failed to get a win, Ted Dibiase angrily smacked the top of his TV and directed his frustration at Liv Morgan, who was with him. Liv tried to defend herself, noting how hard she tried, but Dibiase was indignant. He reminded Liv of how he had had a glowing endorsement for her before she failed to win the match and how he was growing increasingly frustrated with the inability of his team to maintain dominance in this war. He said that his time was precious, and that he expected results – not tries -, and that he expected Liv to get her act together soon. He then left her with that thought. As she grumbled to herself about him, HCW’s Amazon entered the room and noted that Liv deserved better. Liv, though, was not open for Amazon’s advice, calling her “grandma”. Amazon pointed out how she has experience dealing with what Liv is now, but Liv pushed back by saying that Amazon doesn’t really understand the trials of the current generation and that she is not interested. Amazon quipped before leaving that she will be ready whenever Liv is ready to live up to her potential by seeking the advice of the greatest and most experienced woman in the business!
The camera got a really awkward close up of Anthony. Anthony was asking if the camera could see the whites in his eyes, was reminded that he was wearing a helmet, and then left the frame to seek help in getting ready for the interview. The camera panned over to see Crock, Sparking, and Hash sitting and smoking in the corner. Crock said to not seek advice from him on how to do an interview, and Anthony reminded him about the Crock Show. Crock looked over to Hash, who seemed to have forgotten about his own experience on 4:20. Anthony forgot what he was supposed to be doing, was reminded that Crock was his interviewee, and then wished him luck as he left! Anthony sat back to relax and smoke more, but Hash refused him any more weed as Anthony chased him out of frame again!
We then catch Executioner nervously waiting in the parking lot for something to arrive, and then it does! Officials Test and Lance Storm are pushing a gigantic cake into frame, which says “Let’s Celebrate” on the sides. Executioner is proud of the sight and asks them to wheel it to him. He then samples the icing and notices that it is really stale! He asks why it is so stale and Lance Storm looks towards the base of the cake. He says that Executioner isn’t going to like this and Executioner leans down and sees that this cake was meant for the celebration Mickey had planned for the first edition of Asylum on December 9th, 2019! Executioner then notices a terrible smell and investigates the inside of the cake only to find something which makes him puke violently! He orders them to get rid of the cake immediately and find a new one! Then, as Test and Storm leave with the cake, Executioner is still getting sick as he expresses remorse for an apparent working lady who had been left in the cake for over 4 years!
Just before the Extreme Title Match, R-Truth comes out, sings, and attacks Bam Bam Bigelow! However, Bigelow soon gets the best of him and leaves him out cold. Then, in a bloody brawl, The Crock barely retains the Extreme Title against Bigelow! As Crock recovers, LA Knight’s music hits as the Megastar makes way for the ramp and points at Crock for one more match involving the gold!
The Undisputed Champion, Dragonfly, is walking through in preparation for his Main Event match when Randy Orton sneaks in and hits an RKO! Orton reminds Dragonfly that he is the reason that Gonzales isn’t champion right now, and that he doesn’t mind fighting Dragonfly without the belt involved as he wishes him luck after a vicious punt to the head!!
More carnage is seen next as Slammu walks in on a devastated HCW locker room seeing Jesse Hash, John Cena, Ciampa, Pac, and Adam Rose all laid out. Slammu is asking what happened and gets some vague answers from Hash before Rip emerges, revealing that he did it and that he will continue to for as long as Slammu refuses to fight him. Slammu conveyed that he doesn’t want to fight his flesh and blood, but Rip presses forward, threatening more chaos. Slammu delivers a few quick jabs to his brother, which permits him to quickly escape. Unfortunately for the locker room, Rip takes his anger out on them as the camera cuts to ringside!
In an incredible Main Event which si-saws between the Undisputed Champion Dragonfly and the challenger Giant Gonzales, Dragonfly pulls off the miracle with a modified Dragon Twist Driver-Krusault combo to a steel chair to retain the title and lock in a record breaking reign as the longest reigning World Champion in the history of the company! As Dragonfly celebrates and Gonzales recovers, we cut to a video package preparing us for the final Wrestlemania in just 2 weeks!
Then, after the video package, the celebration is ready! The ringside area is adorned with the hallmarks of the celebratory festivities, complete with a new giant cake in the ring! Michael Buffer then introduces the “man of the hour”: Chairman Mickey Mouse Junior!
Executioner is revealed to be the master of ceremonies as he showers Mickey with praise and expresses what the Chairman means to him and the business. After he has successfully lifted the Chairman with his words, he then passes the torch to Mickey so that he can speak. Mickey scolds the audience for not understanding his greatness and openly wonders where Lenny is (Shane McMahon shares that Lenny has not been heard from in nearly 24 hours). Mickey is then informed that he has one more gift and is directed to look at the giant cake. Mickey tastes the icing, notes that it is a tad stale, and then sits down – expecting strippers from his favorite club to pop out of the top -, and as everyone watches, Nikki Cross suddenly emerges much to the frightened dismay of all – especially Mickey – and leaps at Mickey as the lights go out!
We are then taken out of the darkness and into the Firefly Funhouse…or, rather, Alexa’s Playground. Alexa, Slammer, and Nikki are surrounding the unconscious Mickey, who awake in horror! Mickey is scared out of his wits, but Alexa aims to allay his fears as she points out that Mickey is here to work out an arrangement. As she points out the presence of Sister Abigail in her influence, Alexa says that she can help bring an end to Mickey’s problems: including the haunting at his home (revealed to be the work of Abigail) and Bray himself. The only catch is that she needs help with keeping Jade Cargill at bay. Mickey quips that Jade won her match fair and square, but his tune quickly changed after Alexa got more aggressive with him! He promised to work something out and Alexa instructed Nikki to knock him back out, which she did without hesitation. Alexa then leaned in, reminding Mickey and everyone that this is all her playground and that she will rule the industry once again!
Alexa then cackles with her devilish smirk and snaps us to darkness to end the show!
BATTLE LINE – 4/10/24
The show opens with Mickey being left out in an empty parking lot. Executioner approaches him, relieved to find his boss. He comments that they had to stop the celebration when Mickey disappeared, but Mickey waved that off as no longer being important, because they now have bigger problems, that he should have seen long ago. Executioner struggled to get it out of him until Mickey finally remarked that the Women’s Champion is “out of control”.
The show opens and we have our opening bout wherein R Truth takes on the “Bam Bam Cosplay” Bam Bam Bigelow. Bigelow and Truth are surprisingly evenly matched up until Truth defeats Bigelow with a small package!! The furious Bigelow watches on as Truth celebrates his win!
In the back, The Extreme Champion, “Hero” Crock is met by LA Knight in the hallway. Knight confirms to Crock that he wants another go at the title, saying that he firmly believes he would win if he had another shot, and that he intends to unify the Premier and Extreme Titles! Crock struggles to shake Knight’s hand for a deal at “Global Conflict IV: No Mercy” as they are interrupted by Truth looking to insert himself into a possible triple threat for the “Intercontinental Title” against “Gonzales” and “Lexis King”. Knight actually encourages Crock to agree, remarking that it is “what the fans want”, and Crock winds up agreeing, even if he does have to defend the title in 5 days at Wrestlemania against the winner of Jesse Hash and Pac!
Back to the ringside area and we are treated to a 20-woman interpromotional battle royal to determine the next challenger for the Women’s Title at No Mercy. This match is a fun one, featuring some dominance by Thundra as she violently eliminates a slew of women, a struggle to eliminate her (wherein Zevon becomes the deciding factor), AJ Lee scrapping with and eliminating Luna Vachon, the brief reunion of a Taste of Heaven with Baker and Heaven joining Molly Holly and AJ Lee as part of the final four (after Lee saw to it that Paige was eliminated). Baker, after she and her former partner enjoyed a brief stint dominating the others, betrayed Zevon and tossed her out! Zevon was not pleased as she left in a fury, but Baker herself would not survive to the final two! With Molly Holly under the control of AJ Lee, Becky Lynch’s music hit out of nowhere! Lee looked to the entrance way, but as the music stopped, Becky emerged from under the ring and attacked her stalker!! Following the attack, Molly Holly eliminated Lee to become the winner!! With Becky laughing on the stage, Lee stormed out through the crowd as the winner celebrated!
Matt Cardona addressed FTR as they waltzed through the back, promising that his impending victory for the Premier Championship at Wrestlemania would show the world that the “Golden Rule” was not to be trifled with, but his monologue was suddenly interrupted as Randy Orton delivered an RKO from out of nowhere on Cardona and likewise dispensed with FTR before grabbing Cardona and reminding him that their problems were far from over before hitting him with The Punt!!
Back at ringside, the Acting HCW President Ted Brown came to the ring to address the crowd, but the Ultimate Warrior came down for another attack! This time, though, Brown was ready and fought back, hitting Warrior with an Optical Illusion onto a chair after declaring that they would fight at Wrestlemania!!
After Warrior was cleared from the ring, Jesse Hash pulled off an impressive victory over Pac to earn an Extreme Title shot at Wrestlemania!
Shane McMahon was then seen discovering a partied-out Lenny Mouse who had apparently jumped through a table in an inebriated stupor. Lenny was told that he had been missing since Easter and was now in Detroit. Lenny, still reeling from seeing his favorite wrestler win a world title, was joyously surprised that he had wound up in Detroit after having partied from Memphis to New Jersey and to Michigan! Exclaiming as he stumbled away that he needed to party like this more, Lenny left behind a frustrated Shane who tried reminding Lenny that he has a job to do as the website hasn’t been updated significantly since the bender!
Cameras then catch Mr. Kennedy and Hans Gustav staring at a door. Gustav confirmed that his father took him into that room when he was just a nervous little boy and showed him the art of breaking necks. Kennedy was nervous himself now and Gustav was promising to tutor him in the fine arts of snapping necks, turning him from “Mr. Kennedy” to “THE Kennedy!” As they entered the room, we were treated to a montage showing Kennedy training, struggling at first to master neck breaking, only for Hans to push him through observation and studying to become the best new neck breaker in the land! The montage finished with Gustav telling his pupil that he was now ready!
In our next match, we see HCW’s Aggressor, PWI’s Miro, and MDC’s Lance Archer battling it out for their respective brand’s bragging rights. Miro looks like he has it won until the lights repeatedly flicker and we soon hear the familiar voice saying “You’re all going to die down here!” before FRED attacks and lays waste to Archer’s opponents, leaving him covering Miro for the victory before disappearing again!!
Cameras spot Jay Lethal arguing with Matt Morgan about being able to beat him until Rip bursts into frame and obliterates both of them! Timothy Thatcher and Scarecrow even try to come to their aid, but they are no match for the awesome force of the out of control shark! Rip just laughs to himself as he walks away from the carnage!
Blaster is then seen pacing and impatiently waiting for someone in the parking lot until Ted Dibiase arrives! Dibiase welcomes the conversation and expresses that he is ready for a deal to be made, just so long as he gets his cut. Blaster assures him that he will get what’s coming to him and Dibiase warns against crossing him. Before they could shake, though, Scott Nash interrupts by walking into the conversation. Nash demands that Dibiase steer clear of Blaster as he lectures Blaster on associating with “the enemy”. Blaster quips that he will decide on who his enemies are and agrees with Dibiase that Ted is willing to go to lengths that Nash won’t. Blaster then leaves, promising to pick up this negotiation at a later date. Nash then admonishes Dibiase again, but Dibiase is unphased as he laughs this off, saying that Nash is merely looking to survive while he is planning for a brand new future. He then leaves Nash to ponder this as we cut back to ringside for our main event!
In the Main Event, John Cena, HBK, and Mystico don’t even wait for the fourth participant to arrive in this match to determine the Undisputed Title challenger for No Mercy. The action unfolds in epic fashion with each man having their incredible moments, but no one seems to shine more than Mystico! Mystico manages to create an opening, sending Cena out of the ring and looking to cover HBK when Ted Dibiase’s music hits! Dibiase comes out and reminds Mystico that he said Mystico would regret turning his back on the MDC, and that said regret would come in the form of the fourth mystery participant: Ted Dibiase Jr.! Dibiase Jr. emerges from the crowd and locks on the Million Dollar Dream on Mystico, and before HBK or Cena could recover, Mystico passes out and Dibiase Jr. is declared the winner!!
The show then comes to a close with Ted Dibiase and his son celebrating as the other three participants look on in shock!
PWI-HCW WRESTLEMANIA X – 4/15/24
Following a rendition of the national anthem and a tribute video package, we find ourselves ready for action! Thomas, though, is waiting in the Gorilla position for the Acting HCW President, Ted Brown. When he does get to Ted, Ted assures him that he is already looking beyond Warrior and Mickey’s distractions. He is confident in his ability to lead the HCW to victory and to preserve it for the future; noting that he has already started making plans for that future. He then sets out to face the Ultimate Warrior in their encounter!
The match is pretty even throughout most of the contest, especially since Ted Brown blind-sighted Warrior with an attack, interrupting Warrior’s entrance. Still, Warrior proves to be a formidable foe, as he regains control, wins the match, and starts to obliterate the HCW leader further. As Ted Brown is trying to crawl away from the assault, his business partner, Scott Nash emerges on the ramp. Ted reaches for Nash, but Nash just turns and walks away. Brown is completely shocked along with everyone else as Warrior resumes the assault and injures him with a Gorilla Press Super Slam gone wrong as Brown lands head first onto the apron! Warrior then powerbombs Brown through a table and leaves him for dead as we cut to the back!
In the back, LA Knight is watching on in shock as he witnesses his boss being decimated. R Truth comes in and says it is a shame what happened to “Murrey”. He is confused as to where “Lexis King’s” title is, and despite Knight pleading with Truth, Truth is confident that he will win the “Intercontinental Title”! Knight tries to get Truth to understand that he has to have his head in the game, but even if he does, Knight still plans on winning the Extreme Title at No Mercy! Truth is in the middle of trying to calm Knight down when they are both suddenly attacked by Bam Bam Bigelow! Bigelow expresses that this is far from over as he leaves both men laid out!
Ted Dibiase, Ted Jr., and Beer Money Inc. are all waiting proudly in the hallway as Attitude soon approaches. Dibiase walks up to him and expresses confidence in Attitude’s ability to represent the brand with greatness, “unlike others”. He also insists that Teo be brought to heel so that the agenda can be realized. Attitude is confident that his night is going to go well as he heads out. Ted grins with that trademark smirk as he watches his team member get ready!
In the next match, we have a classic for the Tag Team Titles with the Young Bucks defending their titles against the number one contenders: The Attraction. Teo and Attitude are clearly at odds to start the match with an annoyed Attitude violently tagging Teo in when he gets tired of dealing with Nick Jackson. The back and forth ensues, though, as Teo clearly has a better focus on trying to achieve victory, but in the midst of some confusion, Teo was trying to help Attitude by nailing one of the Jacksons with a Fall From Grace, only to accidentally clobber Attitude with their foot as he spun them around! The continued mistakes unfortunately wind up aiding the champions in retaining over Teo as a disgusted Attitude watched from the outside and departed without his partner!
Becky Lynch was seen walking through a walkway when she came to a stop and looked on with a sneer. It was soon revealed that she was looking angrily at AJ Lee. Lee was slowly approaching, seeking to find out if Becky was ok and pleading forgiveness, but Becky exclaimed that it was too late for that as she unleashed hell on her stalker! Lee begged and declared that she didn’t want to fight Becky, but before the fight could continue, Paige came barging in, violently shoving Becky through the double doors behind her! Paige grabbed Lee and reminded her that they are still not finished as she pummeled Lee! Paige expressed that she had no clue how Lee got their match canceled, but that she wanted dibs on Lee before Becky had a chance. Paige then left AJ Lee laid out as we cut away!
Cameras then catch officials trying to revive an unconscious Don Sparking as Jesse Hash quickly rushes to the scene. He frantically asks what’s going on and they ask him if he may have seen anything. Hash remarks that he has seen Bam Bam on a rampage earlier and wouldn’t be surprised if it was him. He promises that there will be payback and then politely remarks that there will be no more smoking pot for his little buddy as he heads off to ringside!
We then have the Extreme Title match as “The Hero” Crock is set to defend his title against his pal, Jesse Hash. Crock comes down after Hash and before they can get started, the lights go out and we hear a commotion. When the lights come back on, both men are laid out. More chaos ensues, though, as R Truth comes out after Jesse Hash rips the turnbuckle pad off and slams Crock’s head into the exposed buckle, viciously ripping his flesh! Truth tries to reveal who attacked “Midget Hogan”, but the Giant Gonzales interrupts him with a violent chokeslam! LA Knight then makes way for the ring to get justice, stopping Gonzales, but he himself winds up obliterated by FRED! It is at this moment that what is happening becomes clear as Jesse Hash shakes with FRED, and then capitalizes on the carnage with a 420 Splash and the pinfall to become the new Extreme Champion!
We then see Shawn Spears in the middle of an assault on FTR that surprisingly went his way. Matt Cardona arrives and is himself also caught off guard with how ready Spears is to defend himself! Spears tells Cardona that they aren’t through as he leaves the number one contender to recover shortly before his big match!
Shane McMahon is with Lawrence Mason to discuss the match that we have coming up: the Men’s Premier Tournament Finale to crown the first ever Premier Champion in what is being dubbed a “Total X Elimination Match” wherein 4 of the remaining 10 un-drawn match stipulations – this time including Ultimate X, Bone Break Rules, First Blood, and Submission – were combined to give the 4 participants multiple paths to victory: either by being first to capture the title, or the last man standing (first blood drawn is the only way to eliminate by this means, by the way). He is in the middle of analyzing the match to come when Lenny Mouse stumbles into frame. Shane quips that Lenny is interrupting an interview, and Lenny responds that he received a summons to appear before the Board. Shane elects to cut the interview short, though, because there is something that Lenny needs to see!
In the next match, the four Men’s Premier Tournament finalists – Attitude, Matt Cardona, Phobe, and LA Knight – are poised to pursue the Premier Championship by winning this first ever Total X Elimination Match! The chaos immediately erupts as the bell rings with Phobe getting in some early dominance. LA Knight is shockingly the first one eliminated at the hands of Matt Cardona after he is viciously lacerated! Brian Cage and Terminator try and fail to attack Phobe, as they only temporarily get him down. Phobe dispenses with them, but it costs him as Attitude is soon cleared to eliminate Phobe after an amazingly executed Super Attitude Adjustment and pinfall! With the final two being Cardona and Attitude, Cardona soon gets control of the match, and looks to have an easy path to victory until Randy Orton comes in and executes a perfect super RKO taking Cardona down from the ladder and rendering Cardona incapable of stopping Attitude from winning the gold when he ascends the ladder and hangs on to grab the title!!
Teo is excitedly waiting for his best friend to come back to the hallway after he won the gold, and when Teo went to embrace him for a celebratory hug, Attitude violently pushed him away, declaring that “you don’t get to share in my glory” and that this is “the era of Attitude” as he assaulted his now-former tag partner and best friend!! With us all stunned as to what we just saw, the Premier Champion, Attitude leaves the scene of his crime!
Executioner opens a door to exit his room only to find Nikki Cross standing outside the door staring at him blankly. Executioner grows uncomfortable, especially as Nikki refuses to answer him and only giggles. Slammer soon appears as well and Executioner attempts to go back through the door, only to have Slammer hold the door shut on Executioner’s fingers! Nikki then approaches and warns that Alexa is waiting on an answer from Mickey, and that time is running out. Executioner slides past both of them, ensuring that he will have Mickey’s answer as soon as possible! Nikki just giggles some more as she and Slammer watch their victim run scared!
The 2nd Ranked Toni Storm then puts up a fight against the possessed Women’s Champion, Alexa Bliss, but Alexa grows angry – even fighting with herself over her inability to more quickly get the job done, with Alexa seemingly telling Abigail that she has this match won -, and with Abigail seemingly seizing control, she locks on a vicious Mandible Claw after a series of Sister Abigails, and while still holding the Claw, she applies the Bank Statement to force a submission all the while taunting her apparent new target! Once the match is finished, Alexa refuses to release the hold, only turning it on official Stephanie McMahon until Jade Cargill comes out! However, Alexa disappears before Jade can get to her, leaving Jade to tend to Toni as we cut to the back!
What we see next is the Mmouse Enterprises acting Board watching CCTV footage of Lenny Mouse’s escapades. Several in the room get sick as Lenny apparently grabbed and had his way with a pig until an officer arrived. Catherine conveyed that she had seen enough and instructed Shane McMahon to shut the screen off. Catherine then scolded Lenny, coming down to talk to him and asking him to explain himself. Lenny all along kept claiming that he is a “Maxwellian” and that this is his religion. This was unsatisfactory, and then he was scolded over the pig incident. Lenny claimed that they were famous and a willing participant. Blaster scoffed at the notion that Lenny had sex with Porky Pig, but rather a farm pig. Lenny was confused about the difference, and Catherine put an end to this, saying that Lenny was now on probation, with a significant risk of a far worse punishment if he doesn’t clean up his act! Lenny was shocked and saddened that his niece would go that far as he left the room and we cut away!
Ted Dibiase and his son were with Lawrence Mason, who acknowledged that Dibiase had had a great night tonight, adding two titles to the brand! Dibiase then promised that his son would go on to defeat whoever won the Main Event tonight for the Undisputed Title. However, in the mean time, he bestowed his Million Dollar Title to his son to make him the new Million Dollar Champion! Ted Jr. was beyond gracious and affirmed his confidence in becoming the Undisputed Champion soon as we prepared to cut back to ringside one more time!
In the hellacious main event for the Undisputed Championship, Dragonfly defended against his two greatest foes: the 2nd ranked Rhyno and HCW’s Metalhead! The match was a true barnburner and si-sawed the entire time, but when it seriously looked as if Rhyno would get the win as he prepared for a match-finishing Shooting Star Press onto the champion, Mystico came from under the ring and destroyed Rhyno with a super version of his Crescent Moon finisher, slamming Rhyno’s face to the floor! As Mystico left, he could be heard by commentary saying that Dragonfly needed him after all while the champion hung onto the ropes and looked on in shock. The match picked back up once more, though, with Dragonfly nailing a Dragon Twist Driver on Metalhead – reversing a Super Acid Drop attempt – and secured the victory with a pinfall!!
As the show drew to a close, Dragonfly stumbled his way up the ramp, celebrating yet another incredibly successful title defense!
HCW MONDAY NIGHT MAYHEM – 4/22/24
The show kicks off with Scott Nash hosting a press conference in front of the Mmouse Enterprises banner. He says that he is doing so not out of disrespect for HCW or for Brown Inc., but out of recognition that Mmouse Enterprises essentially owns HCW now. He notes that he let Brown get beat up badly by Warrior because he is tired of cleaning up for him and he wanted Brown to recognize that his “myopic” vision of HCW alone surviving the war will bring about certain doom for the industry. He says that this is why he has teamed up with his partner, whom he introduced: Catherine Mouse!
Catherine walks up to the podium and addresses the audience, noting that she and Nash have come together to save HCW and the willing talent of PWI from Mickey’s “devilish” vision with a brand new version of UWA! Noting their vision of a Premier and Extreme Division, respectfully, the UWA will blend old and new to unite stars from both rosters to win this war and pave the way for the future!
Catherine expressed her regret that Blaster was not here as well, pointing out that he has followed a similar dark path to Mickey’s, only that it takes him into a corrupt partnership with Ted Dibiase. She then offered a closing plea to the talent of PWI and HCW sitting on the fence: abandon Brown’s closed-minded and losing approach of HCW-only, and recognize that there isn’t only two choices (Mickey’s vision of annihilation or Dibiase’s totalitarianism), but rather a more democratized approach which is poised to win!
With the show officially beginning, we welcome you all to watch a triple threat match to determine the next challengers for the Tag Titles (at No Mercy), which pits The Untouchables, the Lunatic Fringe, and the Misters against each other. Perfect is the last to arrive, at first, without Kennedy, but then the lights go out and the spotlight reveals Hans Gustav! Gustav introduces his protégé, and “Neck Breaker Supreme”, Mr. Kennedy! Kennedy comes down to “Eye of the Tiger” and as he enters the ring, Gustav screams “NO MERCY!!” to which Kennedy unleashes hell on everyone in the ring! Snapping necks left and right, he even turns on Perfect and – at the urging of Gustav – breaks his damn neck! At the point, Gustav jumped on the apron and insisted on being tagged in as he covered the neck break victims and sent his brand new “Neckbreakers” team to No Mercy, all while “Eye of the Tiger” continued playing!!
After the break, cameras catch HCW officials and talent trying to restrain the invasive Rip, but it was to no avail! Busting out of the fleshy restraints, Rip continued to demand an encounter with Slammu as he wreaked havoc and left the carnage in his wake!
The new Extreme Champion, Jesse Hash arrived at the arena, to a thunderous chorus of boos. However, he was stopped from entering the building by R-Truth! Truth called Hash “Riddle” and demanded to know how he could betray the trust of “Gonzales” and “Midget Hogan”, finishing with saying that Hash was a terrible “Intercontinental Champion”. Hash insulted Truth’s intelligence, and Truth replied that he must not be too bright to have trusted him!
Next, we have another triple threat match, but this time it is to determine which woman will represent HCW in the Women’s title match at No Mercy! In the bout, we see a hellacious showing by Amazon, Daffney, and Dana Brooke, and with Amazon poised to win in the end, Executioner emerges from under the ring and clobbers her with a chair! Apologizing to the women, and saying it was “just business”, Executioner used a glass case even in his assault and left everyone out cold, leaving the temporary official – Anthony – no choice but to deem the match a “No Contest”!
Cameras then catch the Undisputed Champion, Dragonfly, walking through the hallway when he his stopped by seeing the new Million Dollar Champion, Ted Dibiase Jr., and the trash talking begins. Dragonfly expresses his confidence in winning their match next week at No Mercy, and Dibiase relishes in Dragonfly underestimating him. Dibiase is even so bold to claim that he will be greater than his father, and Dragonfly laughs this off. Dragonfly makes it a point to insult everything about Dibiase – from his past through to his recent receipt of the Million Dollar Title -, promising to “bury” Dibiase’s career, and finishes by saying that the Million Dollar Title is so useless that it “might as well be the Internet title” as he leaves an angry Dibiase Jr. standing alone!
Just as we are getting set for the Melee match (a match with 20 randomly-entering participants, fought under no holds barred and falls count anywhere rules with the sole survivor winning it all) for a shot at the Undisputed Title at the next Mayhem, Jesse Hash’s music hits to the displeasure of the crowd! Upon entering the ring, Hash explains his actions, pointing out how it was time that everyone remember how great he is and to take him seriously! He pointed out Dibiase’s offer: for Hash to play a central role in Dibiase’s vision of a tomorrow without influence from a Mouse, Brown, or Murrey for the first time since Shane Murphy in a company to be called the “Million Dollar Wrestling League”. Hash was gloating about what this vision meant for him when Granddaddy Duxen’s music suddenly hit!!
Duxen came out to uproarious fanfare and confronted his former friend. Duxen chided Hash for taking the cheap way out and following Dibiase down a corrupt path. Duxen pledged to set things right and requested a shot at the Extreme Title. However, Hash coldly rejected it with a simple “no” as he rolled out of the ring and left as Duxen stared him down and the fans chanted “YOU SUCK!!”
As Duxen departed, the melee began! The 20 stars participating began to show up, including: Great Khali, The Anvil, The Aggressor, Rick Rude, Ciampa, Jay Lethal, Robby Storm, Jeff Jarrett, Damien Sandow, DDP, Scarecrow, Pac, Stan Hart, Brandon Lee, and John Cena! Sabu’s entry made the match far more serious, but all hell broke loose when Bam Bam Bigelow entered! Bigelow enjoyed a serious streak of dominance. While numerous stars had been eliminated before he came in, he racked up that body count more, and took the brawl to the back!
Soon, though, LA Knight balanced things out as he gunned for Bam Bam and took him out within minutes. Knight, Ciampa, and Cena continued on fighting all over the back without Bigelow, though. Eventually, their brawl even brought them through and interrupted a conversation between Tres and a curious Aiden English inquiring how to become a Duct Tape Man. The action accidentally put English through a table (leading Lumis to swoop in and rescue Aiden from any more harm, and leading Tres to scurry away as well). It got even more intense after the brawl went to the parking lot. Within moments, Rip came barreling in and destroyed everyone in sight. Again pleading for his match with Slammu, Rip seemed unstoppable until Slammu showed up! Slammu took his brother out of the picture and then proceeded to enter as the last participant in the match!
Slammu cleared the way for his victory and it came down to just him and LA Knight! Yet again, though, Rip rushed in and attacked his brother! Rip lifted a dumpster above his head to crush Slammu, and he was only stopped when LA Knight hit him with a low blow and delivered the BFT on his fin to the dumpster!
Knight then seized the moment and took advantage of Slammu’s weakened state, slamming him through the last remaining table and pinning him for the victory!!
As the night drew to a close, Knight celebrated his incredible victory, surviving 19 other guys – including the iconic Slammu – as well as the numerous interferences to the thunderous approval of the crowd!!
ASYLUM – 4/22/24
The show opened with a reintroduction to Alexa’s Playground, with an episode she called “Resurrection”. She welcomed us to her evolving playground and said that she was set to have some fun with plenty of violence. Hinting at her pending deal with Mickey, she pledged to hold up her end if he holds up his as she prepares to parade straight through to the end of time for the industry. As part of her side of the agreement, she stated that she planned on bringing back some friends of hers to help. Then, with her sly laugh and grin, Alexa welcomed us to the show!
Following the video package, we were prepared to see the opening bout with an open hardcore tag title contenders match for Global Conflict IV: No Mercy, but the Premier Champion, Attitude’s music hit instead! Attitude came out and explained that he felt the Premier Championship was the true “workman’s championship” and that the crowd was only booing him because he pushed Teo away. He declared that he didn’t need ANYONE to win the title and that no one was going to take it from him!
At this moment, a very angry Teo interrupted by making his way to the ring. Teo demanded an explanation for Attitude’s actions last week. He remarked that he did everything that Attitude wanted, even sucking it up and fighting on behalf of the MDC! Attitude retorted that Teo’s recent actions acquiescing to Attitude was not enough to make up for the damage done in the past. Teo tried responding about how that was supposed to be in the past now, and Attitude pushed back, reiterating what he said last week: that this is HIS era and that Teo should just leave.
As Teo hung his head and went to depart, Attitude taunted him for being a coward and that set Teo off, which led the two of them to scrap! Fighting to the outside until separated by officials, the former championship partners were now once again at bitter odds!
After having seen the Attraction drama unfold, the crowd was now ready for the opening bout, which saw numerous teams try to make their way into the ring, including: Angle and Jordan, the Duct Tape Men, the Hollys, International Incident, FTR, and Beer Money Inc.! The rules held that both members of a team had to make it into the ring to be officially entered, so this led to some entertaining moments such as Kurt Angle making it in and fighting like hell to prevent anyone else from joining. This continued for a while until FTR outsmarted him, opening the door to their entry!
Beer Money Inc. wound up with one foot in the proverbial door as well, with one half of the team making it in the ring…until the lights went out! That’s when the familiar tune of Ozzy Osbourne’s “No More Tears” began to play, signaling the return of no other than Hell’s Fury!!! The lights came back on with Soultaker in the ring behind the lone Beer Money Inc. member who made it in as he landed a devastating chokeslam sending him to the outside! At that point, Soultaker’s partner The Keeper came from under the ring and entered, officially starting the match! Unfortunately for FTR, they were no match for the much fresher are more dominant multi-time former champions as they made quick work of Dawson and Wilder, punching their ticket to No Mercy!!
In a surprising twist, after the break, cameras catch Bray Wyatt laid out – face first – in the hallway. He seemed a little out of sorts as a young lady stagehand approached to see if he needed help. Promising that she had the ability to help him with whatever he needed, including helping find answers, the young lady was persistent, but relented and walked away – saying “so be it” – as he shooed her away and continued onward, but not before acknowledging that Alexa was too dangerous and then having a moment of regret as to his actions which made this possible.
With footage shown from last night, we see Jade Cargill posing in a mirror as she is interrupted by Executioner. Jade threatens Executioner with violence as she demands to know why he has come here. After stammering and stuttering his way through his messy sentence as he tried to find the best way to say something to her, he finally managed to communicate Mickey’s desire that she take a deal to replace Alexa Bliss in the Premier Finale on Asylum while waiting until Starrcade to challenge for the Women’s Title. Jade rejected the offer and threw Executioner out (whilst he still screamed that the offer remained “open”) as she returned to posing for herself!
In the next match, Paige was finally set to get the match that she demanded weeks ago against AJ Lee, and she did very well holding her own against PWI’s top draft pick from this past summer. However, as Paige was poised to win, Becky Lynch rushed in and pulled the official out, knocking him out in the process. Paige looked on in rage as Becky walked away. Seeing the distraction, Lee capitalized, paving the way for her to lock in the Black Widow and secure the submission victory!
When we returned from break, numerous officials were in the hallway trying to pull Becky and Paige apart as the two tries to claw and pull at each other. As the two demanded a fight, they came to agree to a match in two weeks at the next Asylum! Then, whilst Becky was pulled out of frame, an excited and overjoyed AJ Lee pushed her way into frame, practically salivating at what she just saw.
We then see the parking lot as Jade Cargill arrives on the scene. But before she can enter the building, Mickey speaks up and urges her to come over to him, near the dumpster. Jade is annoyed and immediately jumps to demanding to know what the boss wants. He reminds her of Executioner’s offer from the night before and she informs the boss that she rejected it. He exclaims his dismay about her choice, remarking that he thought it was a great deal and that she should take; looking nervous all along. When Jade pressed and insisted on knowing what Mickey was scared of, Mickey muttered to himself about something as he turned his back, snapping back around when she asked for him to speak up only for him to insist that he feared no one or nothing. She went to reject him again and he told her that the offer is good until the main event bell rings, but now he was practically begging! Jade expressed that she preferred Mickey’s crazy “pig-fucking brother” over him and as she entered the building, Mickey quipped that he could start fucking pigs too, if need be!
In the falls count anywhere match which was dubbed as “feud-ending”, the Number One Contender, Matt Cardona, took on Shawn Spears in an impressive showdown. The two seemed evenly match, but as Cardona gained some steam and readied to win, Randy Orton’s music hit! In a moment of being distracted, Cardona almost fell victim to a blind-sighted attack by Spears, but moved out of the way just in time. Cardona then angrily reversed the momentum, using that rage to finish the match in his favor!
Yet, as Cardona celebrated, Randy Orton came from out of nowhere with an RKO on him!! Randy followed it up with a punt and expressed his desire for a chance to get what he believes Cardona stole from him at The Epic: a shot at the Undisputed Championship! As he was leaving the ringside area, Cardona spoke up to cut the music and offered Orton a challenge: a chance at earning that shot at the gold at Armageddon 4!
The catch? It would be “no holds barred” AND if Orton loses, he may never bother Cardona about this again! Orton stared dead into Cardona’s eyes and agreed to the terms as we were cut to our final commercial!
After our last commercial break of the evening, we see Lenny Mouse apparently in the living room of his house, listening to soft piano music, and penning a “slam rap”, with lyrics that read:
Going through the streets
Oh please just let me preach
- STOP!
He’s got the master plan
He’s better than I am
He will lead the way
Just follow him and say:
- STOP!
MJF, the better one!
The greatest won!
It is all too fun!
Go out and run
- For the “Salt of the Earth”
Lenny was more than pleased with his work as he fawned over the thought that his champion would love him for it. He then went to continue as we cut away…
Lawrence Mason was standing by, right before the Main Event, talking about the anticipation of whether Jade would accept the deal after all. Then, out of nowhere, he spots Jade walking towards ringside and tries to get an answer about her thoughts on the offer, but it was to no avail as she proceeded towards her destiny unabated. Defeated, Mason sent us “back to ringside!”
All set for the Main Event, the Women’s Premier Athlete Tournament Roulette Finale to crown the first ever Women’s International Champion, we see the No Way Out cage (complete with the barbwire around the top thereof), and a four-way pair of straps. Michael Buffer revealed this as a “Total Strap Hell Match” wherein the competitors would be strapped together in the cage and could win with executing their finisher, escaping the cage, pinfall, or submission!
We then see our competitors introduced: the 7th ranked Charlotte Flair, the final Women’s Immunity Champion; Ruby Riott, the final Women’s Ascendant Champion; the 3rd ranked Zelina Vega, and finally the Women’s Champion herself and the first-ever two-time Premier Athlete: Alexa Bliss.
After Alexa’s introduction, Slammer and Nikki Cross emerged on the opposing side of the ring, prepared to wreak havoc, and Alexa evily grinned as she stared down the entrance way in waiting for Jade to come down and take her place. Much to everyone’s surprise, Jade’s music hit! Alexa cackled as she recognized that her plan had worked whilst Jade strolled to the ring. Upon entering, Alexa welcomed Jade and wished her good luck on the match. However, Jade wouldn’t let her leave, grabbing the Women’s Champion – who was now demonically screaming – and told her to win her “own fucking match!” Jade then manhandled Alexa, launching her at the cage as she picked up the Women’s Title as a warning and left the champion to her opponents!
Mickey’s music then hit as he came down outraged and demanding that Jade get back in the ring, but that was brought to an end as Jade grabbed Mickey and launched him at the cage as well before heading to the back!!
The match was hellaciously competitive as the bell rung, with Vega, Flair, and Ruby all first targeting Alexa, eventually hog-tying her when they all escaped the straps. Nikki tried and failed to interfere before she was sent flying, and so did the massive Slammer, before Flair, Vega, and Ruby pushed the cage and sent him falling to his doom below!
The pandemonium only continued from there and we soon saw a possessed Alexa wrestle her way out of the hog-tie and unleash hell. In the commotion, though, Earl Hebner got knocked over and wasn’t looking to see Alexa hit an incredible Twisted Bliss from the top of the cage!! The match should have been over, but Alexa was stunned when she didn’t win, which permitted Charlotte to hit the Natural Selection and secure the historic victory!!
With Charlotte announced as the winner, Alexa again demonically screamed as the lights flickered, revealing that the Cult of Bliss had vanished! Mickey, meanwhile, was visibly upset about the outcome as Charlotte was awarded her title and the show came to a momentous end!
GLOBAL CONFLICT IV: NO MERCY – 4/29/24
After the opening video package, Blaster’s theme music interrupts the commentary team and causes the crowd to erupt in cheers! Blaster immediately calls Mickey out, demanding that he come down to be dealt with once and for all, primarily to save Jackie! Mickey’s music soon hits and the Chairman demands to know if Blaster has lost his mind. Blaster is steadfast in his determination to fight the boss once more, and Mickey points to how he isn’t alone; highlighting Executioner in the process. Blaster cuts Mickey off, and reveals that he isn’t alone either, especially since joining the MDC. That’s when we see the Giant Gonzales come out to join Blaster, and then the lights go out!
After we hear FRED’s familiar entrance, the lights shut off again as they always do, but it takes longer to come back on as Alexa Bliss can be heard asking if Mickey agrees to the deal to do whatever it takes to hold up his end of the bargain. Mickey full-throatedly agrees and pleads for Alexa’s help. When the lights come back on, FRED is going through an internal struggle, leading the monster to attack Blaster and Gonzales! He obliterates both, with most of his ire directed at Blaster, eventually beating him nearly to death with a ring post!
Mickey demands that the match be started, warns that Blaster is in over his head with Mickey having a new powerful ally. Mickey then adds insult to injury by hitting a Stunner on his greatest foe and securing a pitiful pinfall for a despicable victory! Mickey then instructs FRED to take Blaster away as the monster does so and we cut to the back!
Uno and Dos are seen arguing about who is wearing a sufficient amount of Duct Tape as they stand guard by a giant bird cage. Their bickering is soon interrupted when they spot Dexter Lumis carrying Aiden English, He places English inside of the cage and the Duct Tape Men confirm that Aiden has some tough training ahead. Dexter leaves soon after being annoyed with the attempts by Uno and Dos to pay him with Duct Tape and they proceed to get ready for relocating their prisoner. However, chaos catches them off guard as Slammu and Rip barge onto the scene in their back and forth scuffle!
Uno and Dos run away and the fight continues until officials arrive on the scene to try and separate the beasts! Scott Nash and Shane McMahon also arrive to try and quell the mayhem until Shane gets fed up and announces – with Nash’s approval – a match between the brothers at the last Global Conflict in 3 weeks! Rip is satisfied with this news as he promises to see his brother there and takes off. Slammu is displeased, though, asking what they have just done to him!
Next, in a chaotic Tornado Triple Threat match for the Tag Team Titles, Hell’s Fury nearly claim the gold over the Young Bucks and the Neck-Breakers, but the lights dim down and reveal an impending attack from the Fiend! However, Soultaker and Keeper are easily dispensed with as they grab Bray and disappear with him!! This leaves the carnage behind as Mr. Kennedy surprises Nick and Matt Jackson to capture the gold for himself and Hans Gustav!!
Watching the action with HCW’s Neck-Breakers having defeated the unaffiliated Champions the Young Bucks as indirectly defeating PWI’s Hell’s Fury, The Aggressor nods and affirms that this is why he supports Ted Brown’s vision. Pac, though, protests, and thus begins an argument amongst several HCW talent over the decision to abandon Ted Brown’s HCW-centric vision for the new UWA. Aggressor, Jeff Hardy, and a silent Sabu seem to oppose joining the UWA while Pac, Trevor Murdoch, and John Cena support the UWA approach. The argument ends in a stalemate, though, as a frustrated Aggressor slowly leaves and is followed by those who agree with him. Cena tries to reassure the UWA side of the room that the others will “come around soon”, but it doesn’t look good.
Cameras then catch the Crock feeling miserable, as he was emotionally leaning against a corner and woefully talking aloud about how he has caused more harm than good as of late. Granddaddy Duxen attempts to help his friend feel better, but Crock isn’t having it. He blames himself for what happened to Don Sparking, even if it was Hash’s fault. Duxen has an idea, though, and welcomes Crock’s iconic father – Woody the Second – to brighten Crock’s day! With the sands of time having taken their toll on the former world champion, and suffering a lost foot due to an unknown infection of the recent past, Woody II wheels himself to his son and tries to lift his spirits. Crock embraced his father with all the joy of a little boy being reunited with a loved one! Woody spoke to his son about how he saw greatness in him and how he personally felt Crock was the real GOAT. He reassured his son that he believes that Crock still has the potential to lead the industry, but that he must first pull himself back up! Crock appeared to agree and felt rejuvenated as he joyously skipped out of frame. Woody looked on fondly and asked Duxen to take him back to the nursing home as we cut back to ringside!
In a triple threat match for the HCW Extreme Championship, R Truth and LA Knight challenged the MDC’s Jesse Hash for the title. The match was hard fought and si-sawed throughout until Hash found an opening and secured a victory following a thunderous 420 Splash!
Mystico was seen waiting in the parking lot as the Undisputed Champion, Dragonfly, arrived on the scene. Dragonfly was suspicious of his younger cousin and went to enter the building, but Mystico assured the champion that he wasn’t here to interfere, but just to watch the match to come. Krusader soon joined in and confirmed that they only wanted what was best for the family. After listening, even a little intently, Dragonfly defiantly ranted that he was unquestionably greater than either of them and that he will prove himself to the world tonight by defeating Ted Dibiase Jr. without any assistance. Mystico and Krusader just nodded in acceptance of their cousin’s desires, wishing him the best of luck as he set out for his match.
Lenny was again spotted in his living room, under candlelight, talking to himself as if he was interacting with MJF. He even threw himself on the couch in a very suspicious way, but he was cut off by the intrusion of his brother Vinny, who appeared to struggle to get around. Once they got past the shock that Lenny initially experienced, Vinny proceeded to insist that he needed Lenny to use his common sense to get his head back on straight and in the game to help him stop Mickey and Benny and to help lead the way for exiling the Mouse Brothers from the industry which has driven them mad with power.
This caught Lenny off guard, but his sickly brother remarked that he had lost his best friend in the world and had since had a sort of spiritual awakening. He noted that he had previously tried to inspire Catherine to help, but that she had just foolishly let Blaster essentially sacrifice himself. He was concerned both for the industry as well as the well-being of their grand-niece, Jackie.
Vinny commented that he had seen Jackie in hiding recently, but was alarmed as to how far she had followed Mickey down his dark path. Struggling to move, stay standing, or even communicate, Vinny insisted that he was “ok”, but remarked that everyone’s time was limited and that they had to use it wisely to do right by the people that they love. Vinny then departed, having spoken his peace, leaving Lenny behind to contemplate their interaction in solace.
Next was a very competitive match for the Women’s Championship as the legendary 2nd ranked Molly Holly represented UWA in challenging the 3-time champion, representing PWI, Alexa Bliss. Giving it her all, including taking out Slammer and Nikki Cross, Molly came close a few times to winning the gold, but Alexa dug in deep and pulled off the victory!
With the match won, Alexa celebrated and held her title high, but was interrupted by the number one contender: Jade Cargill! Cargill made her way to the ring and looked to try and get her hands on the champion, but she – too – was cut off by music; that of the chairman, Mickey Mouse!
Mickey came out and surveyed the carnage around him. He then addressed Jade, noting that he had given Jade the chance to take the easy way out by replacing Alexa in last week’s Women’s International Title match and waiting for a Women’s Title shot until Starrcade, but she now left him no choice but to find other means to hold up his end of the bargain with Alexa.
Mickey then revealed that if Jade wants to challenge Alexa at Armageddon 4, then she will have to win a match against none other than Agramon one week earlier at Global Conflict V!
Jade stood in shock as Alexa cackled and Mickey welcomed the first ever Immunity Champion on to the stage, but this scene itself suddenly ended when the lights shut off and we were swiftly sent to Alexa’s Playground!
Bray Wyatt woke up on a couch, surrounded by Hell’s Fury. Keeper and Soultaker kept him in check, though. Forcing him to sit back down, Soultaker informed Bray that “she” had been awaiting his arrival. This is when Nikki Cross, Slammer, and the Women’s Champion, Alexa Bliss came waltzing in.
Alexa then spoke to Bray, thanked him for giving her these abilities, and then warned that she must now uphold her end of the bargain with Mickey; though, it was apparently enjoyable to Sister Abigail as part of her revenge tour. She revealed that this plan involved bringing back some of Bray’s “friends”, who he thought he had sent to hell, left in the past, or even buried alive!
At this moment, Drakus – the protégé of Keeper whom Bray had buried alive back at Motivation VII -, entered the frame and attacked Bray whilst Alexa cackled and revealed that Bray would endure a Gauntlet, capped off by Drakus at Global Conflict V! Alexa then ordered Drakus to put Bray to sleep as we suddenly ended the section of the show!
In the hallway, we see Ted Dibiases Jr. and Sr. walking toward Gorilla. Ted Jr. turned and stopped his father. He requested that Ted Sr. not join nor send anyone to intervene. Ted Jr. wanted to do this by himself to prove to himself that he could do it. Ted Sr. was gleaming with pride and hugged his son before sending him off to challenge for the Undisputed Title!
Finally, in an incredible Main Event which far exceeded 20 minutes, Dragonfly’s 589 day reign came to an end when he failed to respond to the official while struggling in the Million Dollar Dream! Ted Jr. reveled in this historic moment, concluding the show celebrating with his father as Mystico and Krusader joined their cousin, who sat in the corner of the ring in disbelief that his time atop the company and industry had come to its end!
HCW MAYHEM – 5/6/24
The show kicked off with Scott Nash addressing the divided HCW locker room. Despite being jeered by stars like Aggressor for being a “traitor”, Nash pressed on by explaining that he was doing what was in the “best interest” of them all by uniting with Catherine. He continued to flatly deny the rumors that he dispatched Warrior to attack Brown or to injure him at Wrestlemania. Nash then offered an ultimatum as the Acting Head of the company: side with the UWA by the end of tonight, or else! With those contentious comments, Nash then left the room and the show officially began!
In the opening bout, we saw Jamie Hayter, Zevon, and Mia Yim square off to determine the next challenger for the Women’s International Championship. The match was fine enough until Liv Morgan shockingly intervened and took everyone out, forcing a no contest! Liv declared that she is the only rightful person who should earn the next shot, as she feels that she was wrongfully denied her spot in the title match. She then stated that she will be waiting for the champion next week, because she will be “the only challenger” possible!
We come back from commercial break and see the Extreme Champion Jesse Hash relaxing on his couch watching cartoons. His joy is disrupted, though, when Granddaddy Duxen barges in. Duxen insists that they are going to have a match for the gold next week, and Hash laughs it off, but Duxen isn’t taking “no” for an answer. Instead, he violently grabs Jesse’s arm and puts him in a wristlock. He slams Jesse around while still maintaining the hold, demanding the match all along. Jesse, though, breaks free by slamming Duxen against the couch! Hash then proceeds to beat Duxen senseless and boastfully accepts the challenge before leaving Duxen and the carnage behind!
Next, we see Thomas looking to get a word with Scott Nash about his ultimatum. Nash stops to comment and defends his decision making; laying out his justifications for why UWA is the only way forward. He calls Ted’s vision “myopic” and doomed to fail, because it abandons other allies not in HCW. He repeats himself that everyone has until just before the main event to decide!
In the next match, the Neck-Breakers hilariously succeed in defending their tag titles against the Hardcore Giants after Hans broke all of Giant Satan’s major bones, leaving him in a monster pile for the pinfall! As the Neck-Breakers were celebrating, though, The Young Bucks stormed in and surprised them with a pair of superkicks! Holding up their former titles, the Bucks made it clear before leaving that they wanted their rematch!!
After the last commercial break, as promised, Scott Nash came out to the ring to make his final comments on the ultimatum. He declared – amidst boos – that while he appreciated everything that HCW had done for him, and while he regrets the NWO invasion from 15 years ago, he has made this “hard decision” to end HCW and merge it with Catherine’s PWI faction to create a new UWA. He went to finish his remarks declaring that everyone else will be an enemy looking in from the outside as Ted Brown’s music shockingly hit!!
The Acting HCW President, Ted Brown, while Nash looked on in shock, made his way to the ring. After getting past the awkwardness of their first encounter since Nash let Warrior destroy Brown at Wrestlemania, Brown remarked that he won’t let HCW die without a fight. The two of them then exchange pleas for joining their respective visions and finger-pointing about each other’s recent failures (including Blaster falling victim to FRED last week). Neither seemed like they wanted this division, at least not on the surface.
This culminated in Brown sighing and offering one last solution. He pointed out how the HCW roster was split in half, and how he was confident that his side would follow him no matter what he did. For this reason, he proposed a match in next week’s main event between them to decide the fate of HCW: either it fights the war independently or as part of the UWA. Reluctantly, Nash agreed to the terms and the two of them parted ways!
After this was our main event for this particular evening as the Undisputed Champion Ted Dibiase Jr. defended his title against LA Knight! This was a great si-saw battle which saw both men give it their all. However, in the end, Ted pulled off the victory and retained via another Million Dollar Dream!
As he celebrated his accomplishment, though, he was interrupted by the sudden playing of Dragonfly’s music! The former champion made his way to the ring and after a brief staredown, Dragonfly commented that Ted was in HIS ring, in front of HIS fans, on HIS show, and wearing HIS championship!
Ted chuckled about that last remark, and Dragonfly demanded that he get his rematch next week on Asylum! When Ted questioned the logic in that, Dragonfly defended his challenge by pointing out how last week’s match could have gone either way. Finally, Ted agreed – saying he was feeling charitable – and then Dragonfly clobbered him!!
The crowd went nuts as Dragonfly finished him off with a Batkick, and then held the title high before throwing it on top of the new champion! With this final shot of Dragonfly looking determined and Dibiase clinging to his gold, the show came to an end!!
ASYLUM – 5/6/24
After the video package, Mickey interrupted the commentary team en route to the ring alongside Executioner. Mickey proceeded to point out his comments from a couple hours ago during the Press Conference, wherein he pledged that the end was truly near for the entire industry. He was in the midst of his monologue when he was abruptly cut off upon noticing that Lenny Mouse had quietly walked out onto the stage!
Once Lenny entered the ring, Mickey immediately interrogated him about why it was that he was being interrupted. Lenny spoke up and remarked that he was here on behalf of Vinny. Mickey initially expressed his suspicions that this was a ploy to trick him into ending the war, which he had no intention of doing. However, Lenny was insistent that this was no trick and that he feared that Vinny may be suffering from the same ailment which took their mother – Minnie – many years ago.
Recognizing the gravity of the situation, Mickey was silenced by his grief as he was reminded by his brother about the unfortunate fate of their beloved mother all those years ago. Mickey started to become receptive to what Lenny was saying, as Lenny remarked that they have the ability to help Vinny, unlike Minnie when they were younger.
Lenny consoled Mickey and insisted that they could start helping him by ending the war so that he could have some hope, but this immediately shocked Mickey back into being defensive! Mickey charged after Lenny and commanded him to exit the ring, but they were both suddenly cut off by the music of Carmelo Hayes!
With both Mouse brothers silenced by their confusion, Hayes made his way into the ring and explained that he was here to help ensure the masses that the industry was in good hands regardless of the war’s outcome. He even expressed that he will serve as the top draft prospect, if need be, to help inspire AEW and WWE to keep moving forward if Mickey wins.
Ultimately, Hayes was confident that he would succeed in helping to prevent Mickey’s victory, but Mickey was unimpressed as he pushed back and demanded his ring to himself. Hayes soon excused himself, and when the Mouse brothers followed suit, we were ready for the night to get underway!
In the opening bout, Attitude defended his Premier Championship against Seth Rollins, but much to his surprise, his path to victory was disrupted by the sudden playing of Teo’s theme music! This distraction permitted Seth to get the upper hand and steal the victory!! With Seth now being awarded the Premier Title, Attitude laid in shock as we went to commercial!
Upon returning from the commercial break, we see Uno and Dos looking on fondly at Aiden English, who was still trapped in the cage! They then wake him up, much to his dismay, and reveal that he has been out for quite some time. They then assured him that his training would be complete at Armageddon 4, if he was up to it. When he confirmed that he was, the Duct Tape Men then hoisted up the cage and carried him away!
Mickey was seen walking with Executioner, as he was beside himself about the news regarding Vinny. He was feeling lost in all of this, but that is when the lights flickered, revealing Slammer and Nikki Cross! Mickey exclaimed in fear as Nikki approached him to remind him of his deal with Alexa. Mickey promised that he hadn’t forgotten, and Nikki informed the boss that “Abigail” and Alexa were very fond of him and felt that they could have a close bond. The lights then flickered again as Nikki appeared very close to Mickey before going out again and sending us back to ringside!
Back at ringside, we prepare for a poetic rematch of sorts for the Women’s International Championship as Charlotte Flair defends against the woman who beat her on November 30th, 2019 to become the first Knockouts Champion of the era: Nikki Bella. The bout was an impressive one, but Charlotte managed to get the victory in the end!
We next see Ted Dibiase Sr. chasing after a very irate Giant Gonzales. Gonzales demands that Dibiase arrange a match next week between himself and FRED before storming off, not even giving Dibiase a chance to suggest that it might not be possible!
In her office, Catherine Mouse is dealing with all kinds of emotions due to Blaster being out of action and Vinny’s life hanging on the ropes when Jade Cargill makes her way into the room. Jade wants Catherine to address Mickey’s abuse of power and make things right. Catherine, after much thought, indicates that she might have an idea, but that she needs something from Jade. Jade realizes very quickly what Catherine wants: her to join the UWA. Catherine comments that the war is at its fever pitch and that she is more than confident that they can win with Jade on their side. Jade ponders it and then agrees to join the UWA! Catherine then shakes her hand and promises that she will get to work on making things right!
Our next match sees the culmination of events with Paige taking on the 2nd ranked Becky Lynch. Becky, however, after coming in on fire, seems a bit disoriented, and this seriously impacts her performance. Despite this, Becky gives it her all, only for her mysterious dizziness to give Paige the opening she needs to get the victory!
With the match behind her, Paige leaves the scene as the official guides Becky towards the stage, but before they can go through the curtain, AJ Lee bursts through and dropkicks Becky out of the official’s grip! Then, after dispensing with the ref, Lee proceeds to obliterate Becky, smiling like a crazy person the whole time! Lee comments that they could have been friends, but now she will have to prevent Becky from ever being anyone else’s friend again! Finishing off her attack with a mockery of a Man-Handle Slam, Lee then leans over Becky and issues a challenge to Becky for a match at Armageddon 4 before leaving the scene of her crime!
Following the final commercial break, Lawrence Mason is sitting with Rip for an exclusive interview. In this interview, Rip passionately explains his hatred towards Slammu. He explained that Slammu was always the favorite when they were children, and that everyone always ignored his own accomplishments. He resented Slammu for never acknowledging when Rip attempted to be supportive of his accomplishments as an adult, and hated his brother even more for never offering supportive thoughts for when he himself started to make a name for himself.
Rip mentioned how he wanted revenge decades ago, but wasn’t able to due to Slammu’s numerous attempts at retirement, so he waited patiently for many years until he got the call from the Million Dollar Corporation for a chance to finally get his vengeance!
Now, with their match impending at Global Conflict V: The Eve, Rip was dead set on making sure that Slammu is destroyed in the match and beyond!!
In the Main Event, in a No Holds Barred bout, Randy Orton attempted to earn a shot at the Undisputed Title at Armageddon 4 by beating him in this match, with the catch being that his loss would lead to him forever forgoing bothering Cardona about the shot again! Randy did a great job in taking on Cardona as well as FTR, and was poised to finish Cardona off with a Pillmanized Punt, but was shocked alongside everyone else when Chelsea Green emerged from under the ring to catch him with a flying chair shot to the face!! After Cardona’s wife embraced him and they proceeded to abuse Orton a little more, the duo then finished the Viper off with a Pillmanized version of the Radio Silence and a three count fall!!
With Cardona victorious once again, Orton lay wasted on the mat as the closing shot presented the image of Chelsea Green and the Number One Contender Matt Cardona celebrated amongst the carnage of the match!!
ASYLUM – 5/13/24
The show opens with the sight of Vinny Mouse struggle to walk alongside the parking lot wall. Lenny catches up with his brother to see if he needs help, but Vinny is not welcoming the assistance. Instead, he is insistent that he deserves this fate. Lenny asks if it is the same ailment which afflicted their mother, but instead of answering that question, Vinny reminisces about how great she was and how he hadn’t thought of her since she passed away all those years ago. Lenny went to tell Vinny something, but Vinny stopped him, telling his younger brother that he had read the recent blog post with the revelation about their long-lost sister Mickie. The two of them then shared their regrets about how they treated her, and Vinny extended that thought process to everyone he ever tortured for the sake of power.
Lenny kept prying, asking if he could take Vinny to a hospital, but Vinny kept resisting. He, instead, insisted that he be allowed to lie down…because he “could feel it…the end is near.” With that, as Lenny stood up from his ailing brother, the camera faded out and we headed to the opening video package and pyro.
In the opening bout, we saw a Premier 8 Match to determine the final challenger in this era for the Women’s International Championship at Armageddon 4. The bout saw numerous things, with Mockingbird breaking out in early dominance, Toni Storm acting uncharacteristically vicious, and Peyton Royce exuding some unfamiliar confidence. Even Thunder Rosa had a standout performance, but in the end, it was Paige forcing a resilient Molly Holly to submit with the PTO to earn the shot!!
After the break, we see Teo staring at the television when he former tag team partner enters the room. Teo stands up, knowing exactly who it was, noting that he knew what Attitude had come for. Attitude went to attack, but Teo offered a brief history lesson. He pointed out that he had thought that reuniting their team was something desired by everyone, but he was wrong, as Attitude’s jealousy would never let him get beyond the grudges he held against Teo for all the wrong that had been done over the years. Teo then offered Attitude a chance to prove that this really is the “Attitude Era” by taking on Teo in a Permanent Career Match, citing his belief that this rivalry was destined to continue on forever unless one of them hung up the boots for good. Seeing this opportunity for a final match at Armageddon, Attitude extended his hand in agreement and clobbered Teo during the shake! Attitude then departed, after promising to end Teo’s career at the PPV before spitting on his former partner!
We are then taken into what appears to be an alternate dimension with everything being upside down! Mickey is seen under a chair as Alexa giggles above. Bliss soon wakes her partner in crime and interrogates him about his focus and allegiance. Mickey cowers and agrees that they are still in alignment, and Alexa pushes back that she is aware of the familial distractions afoot for him. She insists on a singular focus on “her” ultimate goal, but also promises that “she” will soon mark Mickie once she is found! Mickey denies his sister, but Alexa confirms that her blood is true and that this distraction will not be permitted. Once she gets Mickey to finally buckle and agree to being subservient, Alexa grabs him and tells him to come with her, as they have work to do! The lights then go out as we fade back to ringside!
In the next match, Phobe takes on Brian Cage in the “War to Settle the Score”, but Phobe comes out when Terminator expected Cage to! Terminator was trying to flee for his life from the angry giant, but he had no need to fear as Cage was soon on the scene! Cage came in and the two had a knock-down drag-out fight until Cage took advantage of Phobe being satisfied with knocking out Terminator to pave the way for Cage to get the upper hand and nail a Super Sitdown Powerbomb and secure the three count fall!
After the break, the next thing we see is Catherine Mouse in a shady area with a black background. She is pleading to someone or something mysterious for help in ending this war. Soon, to her dismay, a demonic voice answered her cries and asked “what price are you willing to pay?” Catherine hesitated for a second and soon responded that she is willing to pay any price that it takes. The voice cackled, asking why they should care about the war. Catherine commented that she knows that this mysterious figure also has an interest in seeing the right side win.
The voice then again insisted on knowing the price that she was willing to pay, so she asked the voice to name it. Satisfied and devilish, the voice giggled and remarked that it will be “blood for blood then”. Catherine started to get emotional as she asked who would pay, but the voice was not sharing that information right now as it cackled and said that it would worry about whom and take care of the rest. With that, Catherine lowered her head in shame as we cut to Becky Lynch!
Becky Lynch was pacing back and forth in the hallway, and sought to address AJ Lee. She noted that Lee first claimed to be her biggest fan, then her best friend, and the cost her both the Women’s Title and the latest opportunity against Paige. She exclaimed that if a fight is what Lee wants, then a fight is what she will get at Armageddon 4!
In our next match, we see two monsters battling it out for the very first time as FRED took on the Giant Gonzales! This match was brutal and arena-shaking throughout, but in the end, Gonzales exclaimed loudly that “NO ONE STANDS UP TO THE GIANT GONZALES” before slamming FRED one last time to the mat with a vicious chokeslam, securing the one, two, three, and becoming the first and only person to defeat both Armageddon and FRED!! Exhausted, Gonzales lay on the ring as the official raised his hand as FRED disappeared into the night!
Upon returning from the break, we see the Events Commissioner Shane McMahon sitting in his office. He addresses the crowd about a bit of a dilemma heading into the PPV. He reveals that there has been much debate surrounding who to have challenge Seth Rollins for the Premier Championship at Armageddon 4. He said that this debate has ranged from an open challenge to a fatal four way with 3 random challengers. Instead, he announced that the top brass of each faction has settled instead on a Massacre 6 match at Global Conflict 5: The Eve with two stars from each warring faction receiving an opportunity to earn a shot at the Premier Title one week later!
We then see an incredible rematch for the Undisputed Championship for our main event, as Dragonfly challenges Ted Dibiase Jr.! The bout swings back and forth quite epically, but just when it appears that Dragonfly is going to regain his title, Randy Orton storms into the ring and nails him with an RKO! He then follows up with a Punt and then exits the ring as a reluctant Dibiase covers to retain!
There is no time to celebrate, however, as Orton barges in again and clears the ring of both Dibiase and Hebner! He returns to his attack on Dragonfly and prepares for another Punt until Shane McMahon’s music hits! The Events Commissioner makes his way to the ring and notes that there is a little conundrum here, especially since there is a need for a World Title match next week, as well as a final encounter that everyone wants to see between Dragonfly and Orton! So, he announces that at Global Conflict V: The Eve, Dragonfly will take on Randy Orton in the opening bout to determine who will receive a shot at the Undisputed Title later on in the main event of the same night!
With that, the show seems to be on the way to its conclusion…until…we are taken back to the scene of Vinny Mouse lying on the ground back in the parking lot. Then, we hear a demonic voice call out his name. Vinny responds with fear and backs up as the cloaked figure approaches. He innocently and painfully asks if they are “the angel of death”, but only receives a light chuckle. This cloaked demon proceeds toward the frail older Mouse, as Vinny pleads to know why. The figure remarks that many evil deeds have been done and that a deal has been made…blood for blood. This demon then reaches out to Vinny and asks if he accepts his fate and is willing to come. Vinny at first hesitates and the accepts what is to come as he takes the hand of his angel of death and is enveloped in the cloak as they say “come with me” whilst promising an end to his suffering as our feed comes to an end.
MAYHEM – 5/13/24
In the cold open of the show, we see Crock sitting in his locker room excitedly watching an old episode of “Power Rangers”. He gets up to do some karate, but hits the TV on accident, which causes him to panic and turn the TV off. He then speaks to himself about how his father was right and how he needed to “put away childish things” so that he could go on and prove that he is the best! He even says that he must put away his “trophies” as he picks up a heavily bandaged Don Sparking who insists that he is “real”! Crock argues with Sparking about whether or not he is a mere “life-sized model” of Sparking, as Crock claims that Don was such an inspiration to him that he acquired the model. Crock places Don on top of the fireplace as if he really was a trophy, but when Sparking wouldn’t shut up, Crock searched for an “off button” and started banging Sparking’s head on the mantle until he shut up before setting off to go be a “real” hero!
The opening bout featured Liv Morgan challenging the Women’s International Champion, Charlotte Flair, in an impressive showing for both. Unfortunately for Liv, her momentum during the match came to a sudden end when the referee was pulled out of the ring by Ruby Riott! Ruby stormed into the ring and hit Liv with the Riot Kick! This set Liv up to lose the match, and as Charlotte celebrated, Liv stared Ruby down!
We come back from commercial and see Anthony picking his nose as he waits for his guests. The Tag Champions, the Neck-Breakers interrupt him, and Anthony accidentally tells on himself as he attempts to sneak a booger onto Gustav’s leg. Gustav flips out and snaps Anthony’s neck out of frustration and directly addressed the Young Bucks! He and Kennedy then go on to say that they want the Bucks in the ring just as badly as the Bucks want their rematch, so this match will happen at Armageddon 4! Just before we cut, we can hear Anthony calling for a medic!
The next shot that we see is of Aiden English still encaged as Tres attempts to prep him for the final challenge “that all Duct Tape Men” have supposedly had to face: “The Alpha”. He explains that this references the original man of Duct Tape, and Aiden must survive him to become Quatro! Aiden conveys that he is ready and wants out, but Tres insists that he will only be freed from the cage when the Duct Tape Men deem him good and ready! Tres then leaves the scene as Aiden cries out to be freed!
In the next match, we see an intense battle for the Extreme Championship as Jesse Hash defends against Granddaddy Duxen! In the end, despite Duxen’s best efforts and a great bout, Hash retains his title in style! After the match, though, Hash is looking like a sore winner as he seeks to degrade Duxen some more and then celebrates, but his music is then cut off by The Crock!! The crowd erupts in cheers as Crock issues a challenge for his rematch at the Extreme Title at Armageddon 4, a bout between the former hosts of 4:20 and the Crock Show, to prove who is best. Hash accepts and looks to say something else until he blind-sights Crock with a shot by the belt!
With Crock downed, Hash stands over top of him and insults him, saying that Crock just proved himself to be dumber than originally assumed. Hash then turns around to tout himself some more, but Crock sits up like the Undertaker, grabs Hash and says “No One Stands Up to the Crock!” He then drives Hash into the mat, picks him up for a Crock Twist Driver and then the Crock Bottom!
To top it off, Crock slowly hoists the gold above his head as his music hits and we cut to our final commercial break!
After the break, we return to see Lawrence Mason sitting with Slammu. Slammu is expressing regret that it has come to this. He discusses his childhood with Rip, and notes that he has no idea where Rip is getting his “fantasies” about their upbringing. Slammu comments that his father was a very quiet person, but he was proud of all of his children; including Rip. Slammu even asserted that he, too, had been supportive of Rip, but that his brother couldn’t see past his own jealousy of Slammu’s success, starting when they were young and continuing through Slammu’s status with Splinter and how they ruled the industry.
As he continued to talk about it, Slammu grew very angry and began destroying things in his office. He conveyed that he wanted to stay retired, but that there were forces which kept dragging him back in. His destruction of everything around him continued as Lawrence grew uncomfortable and backed against the wall. Slammu’s sanity was falling apart as he bitched about not being left alone and now forced to take on his sibling. He then got aggressive with his former co-host, asking if Mason understood. Mason tried to be empathetic, but Slammu’s rage blinded him and he knocked Lawrence out!
Slammu then started to slowly calm, but in a demented way. He asserted that he knows what he has to do; which is to say that he has to tap into the beast within himself to defeat his brother. Slammu then pledged to give Rip the war he has been seeking and insisted that Rip prepare for the match, because it was coming fast!
We cut back to the ring for what may be the final Main Event in the independent history of HCW, as Scott Nash represented the vision of uniting HCW with the UWA to win the war and move forward and Ted Brown represented the vision of keeping HCW independent!
The battle was an emotional one which si-sawed throughout as each man talked aloud to each other about their frustrations with this whole civil conflict. Ultimately, we reached the climax of the match, as Ted Brown nailed an Optical Illusion, but failed to get the three count fall! Nash fought back, and hit Brown with a Jackknife Powerbomb, but also only got a nearfall!
However, unlike Brown, Nash kept at it, nailing Brown with his finisher again and again, and then following up with a cover. Each time, Brown grew weaker, but his resolve remained as he tried to cling on for dear life to preserve the legacy of HCW! Brown even said as much, to which Nash released a last burst of energy and while trying to comfort Brown with knowing that this was about MORE than just one company, he hit a series of Jackknife Powerbombs, with the third and final one in the series dropping Brown on his head! Nash then covered for the emotional three count fall!
As the match concluded, Nash tried to pick Brown up to bring him in, but Ted was resistant and pushed Nash away. Nash grew frustrated and plead with him to honor the agreement, and after Ted battled his emotions one last time, he accepted Nash’s embrace! Yet, as they celebrated the union of HCW and the defecting PWI talent for the recreation of UWA, Ted Dibiase’s music suddenly hit!
Nash and Brown looked on in disgust as the Million Dollar Man made his way to the stage, cackling the whole time. Dibiase asserted that it was pathetic watching what just unfolded, because – in his view – the ONLY true path forward was through him! Nash and Brown rejected this, but Dibiase pressed on, saying that after Armageddon 4, there will be no alternative for the losers, as they would be forced to follow him!
At this moment, we heard the familiar Firefly Funhouse music play and then power-down, with the lights dimming into darkness and the twisted version of the Funhouse theme playing to everyone’s surprise! When the lights came back on, Dibiase, Nash, and Brown were in shock as Mickey and Alexa Bliss stood in the ring!
Mickey devilish and iconic laugh echoed through the arena as he insulted the men arguing over the fate of the industry. He conveyed that with Alexa as his new partner, he was guaranteed to win, and that he already has a plan for after PWI wins the day in one week at Global Conflict V: The Eve! In the event that he does, he planned on making the Final Battle a 4 v. 3 v. 3 “Capture the Captain Crimson Car Match”, obviously with PWI having the advantage!
With that, as Brown, Nash, and Dibiase looked on in both fury and shock, Alexa waved and said “goodbye” as the lights shut off one more time, ending the final episode of Monday Night Mayhem!
GLOBAL CONFLICT V: THE EVE – 5/20/24
Just before the show kicks off, the audience is treated to the arrival of Mickey, who seems as confident as ever as he proclaims that the beginning of the end starts tonight!
We next see our opening video package for the conclusion of the series, followed by the opening pyro and the commentary introduction. Before we can go to our next match, though, there is a video package preparing us for this long-awaited rubber match between Dragonfly and Randy Orton to determine who will challenge for the Undisputed Title in the main event! The match itself is a hell of a barnburner, but in the end the official determines that neither man can continue! However, it doesn’t take long for Shane McMahon to make his presence known as he reveals that BOTH men will go on to the main event!!
In Mickey’s lair, we see the chairman exuding confidence yet again, but this time to Executioner. Executioner, though, has some questions regarding the reliability of Alexa Bliss; pointing out that she “isn’t herself”. Mickey scoffs and rips into his bodyguard, ordering him to get in line or get out! He then leaves, saying that he needs to go “run some errands”.
In the Playground, Alexa Bliss is ready to see all of her enemies vanquished en route to “her” ultimate plan. She expresses how excited she is to see it all play out and that this is the end of Bray!
In the Gauntlet Match, the charred Fiend eliminates Keeper, then Soultaker, and then a determined Drakus, but when Slammer comes down to serve as the final opponent, the Fiend sacrifices himself to take out Alexa’s monstrous guard! Slammer is left motionless even as he pins the Fiend – WHO VANISHES! -, and we are taken back to the back!
Catherine is seen in the place where she made a deal with the cloaked “devil”. She is upset that she offered up Vinny’s life in trade for the figure’s services. Remorseful that she never got to say “goodbye”, she is overcome with emotion…and then the lights flicker, revealing her daughter lying on the floor! Catherine grabs her catatonic daughter in a fruitless attempt to revive her as we cut away!
Krusader is walking with Mystico as the latter prepares for the Massacre 6 Match next. Mystico is worried about Dragonfly, but Krusader insists that he focus on the task at hand and win this match! Ted Brown even join in to express their confidence in Mystico. Even though Cameron Grimes is also representing the UWA, they have more faith in Mystico and encourage him! Mystico then heads to gorilla for the next bout!
The Massacre 6 Match to determine the Armageddon 4 challenger for the Premier Championship is a quick-paced one, and sees numerous surprises. In the end, Carmelo Hayes and UWA’s Mystico are left standing – having outlasted MDC’s Adam Cole, PWI’s Finn Balor and Brian Cage, and UWA’s Cameron Grimes -, and after a hell of a showdown, Hayes surprises Mystico with an inside cradle to steal the win!
After a show of respect with a disappointed Mystico left back in the ring, Hayes is met by a very happy Ted Dibiase Sr., who asks if they have a deal. Hayes credits Dibiase for getting him in the match and shakes his hand! Now, with the Gauntlet Victory earlier going to Team PWI, the MDC is now again tied with them at 19-all, as UWA lags behind at 16 wins!
Following a great video package reminding us of why Rip and Slammu are fighting, we are then witness to a bloody family brawl as UWA’s Slammu overcomes the challenge of his bitter brother, MDC’s Rip, in defeating him by pinfall to put Team UWA up to 17 wins!
Jade Cargill arrives and is caught off guard as Chairman Mouse again emerges from behind the dumpster. He warns Jade against going in the arena and “ending” her career, because he believes that she will never recover from losing to Agramon. He reminds her that her refusal to back down forced him to slate this match, because there was too much riding on this deal with Alexa being successful. Jade responded by promising that she was going to win tonight and would not stop until she toppled Alexa at Armageddon 4! As she entered the building, a very angry Mickey let out a frustrated scream as we cut back to the hallway!
In the hallway, we see an exasperated Orton and Dragonfly locking eyes. Orton encouraged Dragonfly to just stay down and get out of the way, but the former 9-time champion pushed back, saying that he would go out of his way to both stop Randy from winning the gold as well as making sure that he himself walked out with the gold! The two were at a standstill until Orton said he will see him in the ring, leaving the exhausted Dragonfly by himself to contemplate the exchange.
Lana was next on our screen as she tried to recap what we’ve seen until she was cut off by seeing the Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss. She stopped Alexa to seek her answer to the breaking news challenge from Sasha for Starrcade; which was issued earlier on the other channel. Alexa laughed and said she can’t wait to put both Jade and Sasha away as she accepted!
Back at ringside, Jade is ready to re-earn her Women’s Title shot as she is set to take on Agramon, but before the match can even start, the lights dim down and we see an attack by the Fiend on Agramon! Alexa Bliss soon also appears and sends the charred Fiend over the ropes to the outside, but after the lights come back on, the Fiend is renewed (and no longer charred) as he attacks Alexa! He applies the Mandible Claw and then disappears with her!! Seeing that Agramon – though incapacitated – and Jade are in the ring, the official starts the match and Jade seizes on the opportunity! She nails Jaded and gets the 3 count fall!!
Lawrence Mason is then seen standing by with the Undisputed Champion, Ted Dibiase Jr., who expresses that he is clear headed and prepared to win. He notes that he is just as confident now as he was before he knew it was a triple threat match. He pointed out that he knows how to beat Dragonfly and knows his old mentor Orton better than he knows himself! Just as he was ready to leave, Ted Dibiase Sr. stopped him and conveyed the MDC’s support and readiness to step up and help. Ted Jr., though, pushed back and insisted on again being left to do this alone. Ted Sr. insisted that this was too important, with MDC at 19 wins, PWI at 19, and UWA at 18, there was too much to risk. However, Ted Jr. doubled down on his insistence and his father had no choice but to acquiesce as the champ set out for the match.
In the Main Event, MDC’s Ted Dibiase Jr. defended against UWA’s Dragonfly and the unaffiliated Randy Orton for the Undisputed Championship. The match was an incredible back and forth brawl, but in the end, Dragonfly’s overconfidence as he turned his back on Orton while getting rid of Dibiase exposed him to a thunderous RKO and the victorious pinfall of the new champion, RANDY ORTON!!
After the match, Dibiase left shaking his head, obviously disappointed in himself, and Dragonfly slowly got up and did the unthinkable by extending his hand to the new champion! As Dragonfly left the ring with this final show of respect, Orton took to celebrating the moment, but his celebration was cut short by the incursion of FTR! Dawson and Wilder obliterated Orton, leaving him dangling as they held him up for the slow-approaching challenger for Armageddon 4; Matt Cardona! Cardona grabbed the championship and smushed it into the face of the champion, saying that the title will be his next week, and then ended the trash talk by smacking Orton in the face with the gold!
Then, as FTR cleared the ring, Cardona held the title high and dropped it back on the champion as a warning sign of things to come whilst backing up the ramp. The show seemed to be concluding until…
…the camera cut to a disturbing scene as the lights were flickering in an undisclosed location! The cloaked figure was standing at the head of a table with the Women’s Champion, Alexa Bliss tied to it!! Catherine was bearing witness as this apparent exorcism was unfolding! The madness suddenly came to an abrupt stop once Mickey interrupted and demanded to know what the hell was going on!
The cloaked figure and Catherine looked on at Mickey, who slowly approached Alexa before suddenly flying back into the door!! The apparent host of the ceremony backed out, asking what Mickey had done, and then Catherine ran over to her father, to see if he was ok, but Mickey started cackling and giggling.
Catherine then started to wonder aloud what she and her accomplice had done as the camera panned over to the apparently possessed Mickey, who ended the show by saying it was “time to play” and cackling in his iconic style!!
ARMAGEDDON 4: MICKEY’S ENDGAME – 5/27/24
The show opens with Executioner entering Mickey’s lair, wherein Mickey appears sick and laughing to himself. Executioner points out that people haven’t heard from the Chairman, and that some are starting to wonder about his sanity. He continues by reminded the boss that he didn’t trust Alexa and that he thinks Alexa messed with Mickey’s head. Mickey corrects his loyal bodyguard and asks if Executioner can “feel her”, but Executioner is confused. Mickey notes that “she” is the “one who will [realize his] master plan”. Executioner remains concerned for Mickey’s mental health, but the boss is insistent about his clear-mindedness. Executioner soon leaves, seeking “help”, but Mickey exclaims that there is “no help” and “no hope” for anyone, as they will all “pay the price!!” He then cackles as the show opens!
What we see next is the opening video package and the pyro-laced introduction. This is followed by a match for the Premier Championship as Seth Rollins defends against Carmelo Hayes. After an incredible battle, Hayes stuns Seth by picking up the victory and securing his place as a champion! He follows his victory with a speech, boldly declaring that he is THE top prospect for the draft. Then, his speech was cut short by the exciting music of LA Knight! Knight intruded and quipped that Hayes was enjoying a “stolen title reign” and issued a challenge for Hayes to back up his rhetoric…at Starrcade! Hayes said he was a man of his word and accepted the challenge, but blind-sighted Knight in the process, thus leaving him unconscious as we cut back to the back!
Next, we see Ted Brown waiting patiently in Catherine’s office when R-Truth suddenly barged in! Truth called Brown “Murrey” and then proceeded to say he was here to report for duty in fighting Mickey in Project Extermination! Brown reminded him that THAT battle was a separate one from years ago and that he missed his opportunity to help in the war. Truth is still confused and then rambles on about calls regarding “Draft” at a bar, but Brown is annoyed and said that it has nothing to do with “what’s on tap”. Truth says that he “doesn’t tap” and leaves Brown with one final thought about how annoyed he was to be getting calls from “John Brown” about working in HCW. Ted remarks that it wasn’t “John”, but himself as Truth departs!
Soon after THAT exchange, Catherine enters the room and is visibly disheveled. Brown recognizes that she isn’t too optimistic, and she confirms as much by commenting on the recent developments regarding her daughter being catatonic in the hospital, about sacrificing Vinny, and about her father melding his soul with Sister Abigail’s. She is losing all hope and beating herself up over sacrificing loved ones for nothing. Moreover, she feels that Mickey may be unbeatable with his new abilities and found out that it was a plot all along to manipulate Alexa into setting the foundation for him to gain the services of the witch within her!
Brown isn’t giving up, though, and demands that his partner get her “head back in the game”, because there is “too much at stake!” After he leaves the room, Catherine just continues to ponder the hopelessness of the night unfolding as we cut to a video package showcasing the proud history of the Premier Tournaments and how each connect to the new titles being defended tonight!
In our next match, the 2nd ranked Paige gives it her all, but she falls short in challenging Charlotte Flair for the International Championship!
The Young Bucks are getting ready for their Tag Title Match coming up when they meet up with USWA/WPW legends, Adam and Space Adam, as well as Johnny Quest. The little icons of tag wrestling offer their well-wishes and express that the Quests also wanted them to know that the Bucks have their full support to continue and defend the lineage of the tag titles the prestige of which was established by them in 1997! The Bucks are glowing with pride to have this endorsement, but the feel-good moment is cut short when the Tag Champions, Gustav and Kennedy, barge in and snap the little necks of the legends, while forcing the Bucks to watch! The champions then declare that the legends will have to watch the Bucks lose as they leave carnage behind!
Seconds later, Lana is standing by with a traumatized, yet-clear-minded, Alexa Bliss. The Women’s Champion confirmed that she no longer enjoys the powers that Abby bestowed upon her, but that she also wasn’t a complete puppet. She notes that she relished the privilege of being empowered by the demonic force of Bray’s dead sister and that she coveted the power and gold more than her own soul. When pressed about her confidence tonight and at Starrcade, considering the loss of Abby’s influence, Alexa noted that she is determined to go out and prove herself on both occasions, but that she knew something regarding Abby’s plot. In this respect, she revealed that Sister Abigail had desired to possess Sasha at Starrcade and to spread beyond PWI and HCW, to wreak havoc on the industry. However, now that she and Mickey have found each other, Abby is satisfied to use him to the fullest! In her parting words, Alexa conveyed her confidence in tonight’s match, promising to give Jade one hell of a fight!
In the Tag Title Match, The Young Bucks challenged The Neck-Breakers in a fun bout, and in the end, Nick and Matt Jackson regained the gold!
After a video package reminding us of the story behind Becky Lynch and AJ Lee, cameras take us to the parking lot, whereat Ted Dibiase Jr. is still beating himself up over losing the Undisputed Title last week. He is apparently waiting for someone, and we soon see whom as his father emerges from a limo for tonight’s Final Battle! Ted Jr. looks to join his father, but is told to stay back and to actually get in the limo to head home, since he “failed” last week! Ted Sr. even went so far as to say that he regretted sharing a name with his son and then proceeded to order him to leave one more time as he pledged to reach out to a potential business partner and do tonight what his son couldn’t…win. As Ted Sr. entered the building, his son was clearly devastated, looking down as we cut to the ring!
In the next match, AJ Lee defeats Becky Lynch after a hard fought battle! After the match, as Lee looks on with glee, Becky just shakes her head in disgust.
The cameras then catch Shawn Spears waiting with a chair as FTR approaches, laughing among themselves. Dawson and Wilder mock their old leader for summoning them here in some apparent feeble attempt to coerce them out of the Golden Rule, but Spears retorts that he has called them here to help ensure that they won’t be a factor in the Undisputed Title match, and because he “owes someone a favor”. Then, Randy Orton attacks FTR from behind, and as Spears leaves the scene, Orton declares that Cardona will be all alone tonight as he pursues the gold!
After we are treated to a video package chronicling the recent history of Teo and Attitude, the two former tag champions engage in one final match as they put their careers on the line! The epic battle concludes with Attitude shocking the world and ending Teo’s career!! Following the battle, Teo tries to make amends and congratulate his partner, but Attitude decimates him and sends him flying to the outside with a mocking Fall From Grace!! Attitude then looks down at the defeated Teo as we cut to another video package!
The video package in question shows us the recent history between Crock and Jesse Hash and the betrayal by Hash for a convenient position in Ted Dibiase’s vision. After the video finished, we see a giant “4:20” sign with a setup in the ring as the Extreme Champion, Jesse Hash, is introduced. Hash chides the booing crowd and introduces his guest tonight: Woody the Second!
After Woody manages to get in the ring, Hash interrogates him about what he would do if he were his son. Woody stands defiantly by his son’s side, trading barbs with Hash in the process. Hash has had enough and lunges for Woody, but then we hear Metalhead’s music! Woody’s famous arch-rival appears to come to Woody’s aid, but then he, too, attacks him! This prompts the Crock to make way for the ring!! Crock ousts Metalhead and Hash and then removes the “4:20” sign, allowing for a “Crock Show” sign!!
Crock bellows “Welcome! Welcome! Welcome!” to a special edition of the show! He remarks that he will be covering two things: kicking Hash’s ass and “Mickey’s Family Secrets”!! Under Mickey’s secrets, he notes the mystery surrounding the hidden sister of the family, but the show is cut short as Hash fights back, starting the bout! Unfolding all over the place, Granddaddy Duxen even gets involved to further protect Woody the Second, but his brief interference doesn’t stop Hash from retaining the title!!
In the back, Aiden English was still in his cage as he spotted Dexter Lumis slowly approaching. English spoke up, preparing himself for Dexter, if Dexter was “The Alpha”. As always, Dexter was silent, but he freed Aiden…and then walked away. Breathing a sigh of relief, English proceeded to walk towards the gorilla position.
Next, we see Uno, Dos, and Tres all joining together in preparation for Aiden’s final challenge. There was some doubt as to whether he could earn the label “Quatro”, but they all concluded that Aiden would have no choice as they, too, walked towards gorilla.
Now, it was time for the Final Challenge of Aiden English. He was all ready when Chelsea Green emerged from under the ring with a chair and beat him senseless!! Aiden’s old foe left him nearly unconscious as she departed. The Duct Tape Men all unanimously agreed that Aiden still had to endure his challenge, though, and as Aiden pulled himself up, Snoop Dogg’s “Pomp Pomp” blared, signaling the arrival of the Alpha: the returning Masked Gonzales!! It was revealed that Aiden had to survive four moves from Gonzales to become “Quatro”, which he did!
After Aiden survived, Uno, Dos, and Tres all rushed into the ring and celebrated with their new brother as Masked Gonzales lowered a giant duct tape roll over Aiden, which placed him in the middle as the final touch of his initiation!
Before the video package preparing us for the Women’s Title match, Jade Cargill told Lawrence Mason that she didn’t care about any excuses that Alexa may have: she was ready and determined to leave with the gold!!
Then, in the Women’s Title match, despite Alexa’s best effort all by herself, Jade Cargill capitalized on Alexa regretting a moment of weakness in almost using the Sister Abigail to defeat Alexa with Jaded to become the new champion!!
The next video package preps us for the Undisputed Title match between Randy Orton and Matt Cardona. After it wraps up, we see Cardona attack an unaware Shawn Spears for meddling in his business. Cardona mocks Spears for never having won a world title and then dispenses with him by locking him in a room to stay out of the match!
In the next match, Cardona challenges Randy Orton for the Undisputed Title. It is quite the war, and even after Chelsea Green tries – and fails – to interfere, Randy retains the gold in epic fashion!
Our final video package of the night airs, showcasing the path to the “Final Battle”. When it concludes, we are taken to Mickey’s own version of the funhouse, as he sits with Lawrence Mason. Mason dares to press Mickey about his use of dark magic and possibly needing help, but Mickey takes control of the interview in vicious fashion. He states that he knew exactly what he was doing all along…ever since he hired Bray Wyatt. He knew that Bray messed with the supernatural, and he yearned for that power to help him reach his ultimate goal. Ultimately, with a devilish growl, Mickey promises that “EVERYTHING ENDS” tonight…and sends us to the sight of the Capital Carnage Match in the parking lot with a snap of his finger!!
Just as the match is about to get underway, Dragonfly is talking with Krusader and Mystico. They ask him if he is sure about doing this, and he says he is. He apologizes for putting them through hell, and insists that he must now do his part to help save the industry that he loves…from Mickey!
The introductions for the Final Battle commence: with Team UWA consisting of Dragonfly, Slammu, and Scott Nash; Team MDC consisting of Ted Dibiase, Rip, and Giant Gonzales; and Team PWI consisting of Chairman Mouse, FRED, Rhyno, and…Mickey’s “Secret Weapon” El Giante!!
With the bell rung, the match erupts into pure chaos! At the beginning of the turmoil, Dragonfly shocks everyone by eliminating FRED! Rip leaves the scene, refusing to do anymore! As the match continues, we see more eliminated, but Mickey thinks he’s got Dibiase cornered and goes to pin him, only to find out that HE isn’t the MDC leader involved here…but that it is Blaster instead!!
Blaster bursts onto the scene, targeting Mickey until El Giante puts an end to it! This insanity persists, though, until a partially blinded Rhyno accidentally GORES Giante, taking him out of the match! Soon, it comes down to Mickey, Blaster, and Nash!
With Blaster in control, Nash rises up and attacks him! Nailing a Jackknife Powerbomb on Blaster, Nash just leaves the match as Mickey gloats and pins Blaster!
Celebrating to a stunned reaction, Mickey gloats about ending the industry, but then the lights go out!! Within moments, the lights come back on and reveal The Fiend standing behind the Chairman! The Fiend is revealed as Rip’s replacement, and thus the actual – hidden – Captain of Team MDC! Bray locks on the Mandible Claw and takes Mickey down…securing the victory!!
The lights then go out again…and soon we see Mickey waking up on the nearby roof, with the hooded figure standing with his back to him! As Mickey awakes, the figure turns around…revealing that it was Bray Wyatt!
Bray addresses Mickey, saying that he has a demon in him that is someone else’s. Mickey refuses to acknowledge this, forcing Bray to grab him. Mickey pleads for his life, citing how “people get better” after they interact with “The Fiend”. He seeks the same mercy, but Bray comments that there will be no mercy for him…and that he will die.
After the Sister Abigail, Mickey is told that the death will not be by Bray’s own hands…but someone else’s. Seconds later, Mickey’s twin sister – Mickie Marcia Mouse – arrives to address her brother.
Mickey becomes defiant and insists that he is the “ONLY MICKEY”, but his rant is ended by Vinnie, who emerges to defend their sister. Mickey demands to know what’s going on, and Vinnie responds that he must do something that should have been done “a long time ago”.
At this very moment, Vinnie charges after Mickey, tackling him and sending them both over the edge, crashing down to the ground below!!
The camera catches the grim image of Vinnie and Mickey, with Vinnie lifeless, and the only sign of clinging life in Mickey being emitted through his Joker-style iconic laugh echoing through the cosmos as we back up to see the whole scene and fade to black…
Seconds later, Catherine, Ted Brown, and Ted Dibiase address the audience. They reveal that a deal had been negotiated between them to help win the war. With a humble celebration in light of what we just saw, as well as Nash’s betrayal, they reveal that out of the ashes of this war a new company will emerge: Undisputed League Wrestling.
Following this, we see Jackie Mouse in the hospital, still comatose. Lenny can be heard in the background conferring with a doctor about when Jackie will recover as well as telling her what happened to her grandfather and granduncle. The Doctor isn’t sure when she will awake, but seconds later Jackie suddenly awakes and is swiftly swept up off of her bed by a mysterious force as we cut to darkness and see the credits roll on PWI, HCW, and the Sixth Era of Professional Wrestling!!
