Esiason’s Summarized Results: The 2023 Preseason

The following is what transpired during the PWI 2023 Preseason:

PWI LIVE – 6/26/23

The show kicks off with the usual intro package and pyro, but the fun stuff begins once we hear Mickey’s music hit. The Chairman makes way for the ring and first explains his actions at Starrcade whereat he cost Randy Orton the Undisputed Title. Mickey confirmed that he has long desired Orton’s contract, but that he realized that Orton has not yet proved himself in PWI and that there are far more deserving people, including the current champion, Dragonfly. Mickey then promised to “simplify” things from events to championships over the course of the season as he welcomed everyone to PWI Live!

In the opening bout of this night which officially kicked off the so-called “purge rule”, Mark Henry made his return against the debuting former HLW/WWE Star Cameron Grimes in a fast-paced bout. Grimes gave it his all, but the brute force of Henry was too much to overcome as Mark secured the pinfall victory!

In the back, we see Jason Jordan bitching about how WWE kept trying to throw him away during the draft and reminiscing about his time in the Alpha Academy. Matt Taven listened, but Pac was annoyed and tried to speak up. Jason called him “Neville” in mocking him (his former name in the Indies), and then suddenly Lance Archer barged in and laid waste to all three of them! Archer’s assault finally came to an end with officials rushing in and telling him to leave. He was satisfied with his destruction and left willingly.

AJ Lee was walking through the hallway, looking lost until Jade Cargill emerged. AJ was excited for a moment and asked if Jade knew where Catherine was. Jade said that no one did, but that she and the Pinnacle run things around here. AJ was disheartened as she listened and then she said that it was nice to meet Jade before sneaking around the taller woman. Jade then smiled and agreed that it was “nice” to meet each other.

In the next match, the twisted Alexa Bliss took on the iconic Amazon in a hard-hitting bout controlled largely by a determined Amazon. Amazon seemed poised to win until the lights flickered, interrupting the pinfall count and after the lights went off and came on again, Alexa was holding Amazon and hit her with the Sister Abigail, followed by a series of other moves. Alexa then covered Amazon and ended her career! After Alexa left, the crowd gave Amazon a respectable send-off as we went to break!

The returning Nikki Cross arrived at the building and accidentally bumped into the departing Alexa. Nikki apologized as she entered, but Alexa cackled to herself as we cut to Lawrence Mason.

Lawrence was standing by with the Tag Team Champions, The Attraction, Teo & Attitude. Lawrence asked them for their thoughts on defending their titles and careers tonight against the Young Bucks. Teo remarked that he and Attitude have worked too hard to lose everything tonight. Attitude agreed and promised that the Young Bucks were not going to leave as champions tonight!

Just as Lawrence was about to send us back to ringside, he received word of a commotion and sent us down the hall whereat the Women’s Champion was being tended to by officials as Liv Morgan walked up, holding Becky’s title. Liv said she found the gold and chuckled to herself as she dropped it on the champion!

In the Main Event, the Tag Titles were on the line being defended by The Attraction against the Young Bucks. This was a crazy back and forth bout that never saw Nick Jackson or Attitude tag out with chaos ensuing involving all four men! In the end, The Bucks hit the Meltzer Driver and were set to win until Dash Wilder pulled Earl Hebner out of the ring! Matt Jackson pursued him, but Scott Dawson ran into the ring and clobbered Nick with the gold and bolted! Then, Attitude recovered and hit the Attitude Adjustment on Nick and covered for the win!

With the event coming to a close, Matt Jackson rushed back in to check on his brother as the Champions celebrated!

HCW INSANITY – 6/28/23

After the pyrotechnics and intro music, we see an opening fatal four way bout to determine the new Extreme Champion in light of Austin Theory being traded to WWE and subsequently stripped of the title. In this bout, the four former WWE stars who replaced him via the trade – Adam Rose, Damien Sandow, Jay Lethal, and Trevor Murdoch – battle in a fast-paced and bloody bout! The chaos ends when Lethal capitalizes on Rose being lacerated, hits an Elbow Smash and secures the pinfall to become the new champion!!

The Acting President of HCW, Ted Brown addresses the audience. He says that Motivation was an “awakening” for HCW, and that he has some “great news” that he feels “changes everything”. He explains that he was confident when talking to Theory at Starrcade because he was at that point in the midst of negotiating the trade with Murrey. He notes that gaining Murdoch, Rose, Lethal, and Sandow was about building HCW’s “future”, and that the opening bout displayed as much! He then thanked everyone for watching and sent us back to the ring for the main event!

In the Main Event, Giant Satan challenged for the Undisputed Championship as held by Dragonfly. The match was a si-saw war and Giant Satan looked on track to win with a powerbomb from to hell, but he was interrupted by Rhyno’s GORE! Rhyno pulled Dragonfly on top of Giant Satan, allowing the pinfall victory to aid Dragonfly in retaining the titles!

After handing the gold back to the champion and throwing the official Ted Van Dam out of the ring, Rhyno prepared to GORE Giant Satan again, but then Hulk’s music played! Rhyno swung around and was met in a fist-confrontation with the Hardcore Monster himself! Hulk then hit Rhyno with the Hulk-Smash and held his fists in the air as the show concluded!

PWI LIVE – 7/3/23

The show kicks off with some footage of Jackie Mouse showing up at the building. Jackie looks around and proudly proclaims “that takes care of that” before entering the building and sending us to the video package and pyro intro!

Mickey’s music hits once again and after the chairman gloats about himself, he tells us that he will reveal some of the impending changes tonight: the number of shows per week are being reduced in three phases, Ascendant Class will be phased out at the end of the year (1st phase), Ascendant Men’s Title will be unified with Men’s Immunity Title and the Men’s Premier Athlete Tournament Roulette in a Fatal Four Way featuring the holders of those titles and the Tournament Finalist to crown a new Premier Champion who will have all of the privileges of the Premier Athlete (Phase 2 part 1), the Women’s Ascendant Title will be unified with the Women’s Title and the Women’s Immunity Title will be unified with the Women’s Premier Athlete Tournament Roulette after a similar approach with the end goal being the creation of a yet-unnamed Title (Phase 2 part 2). The third and final phase will be unveiled at a later date.

Mickey then welcomed the Undisputed Champion, Dragonfly, to the ring. He demanded that Events Commissioner Shane McMahon bring out the new Big Gold Undisputed Championship Belt and award it to Dragonfly! Dragonfly hoisted the gold up high, but then the lights went out and…“You’re all going to die down here!” FRED appeared in the flickering lights to destroy everyone in sight, but he was suddenly GORED by Rhyno! The lights came back on, as everyone but Rhyno fled.

FRED stood up and roared into the darkness as the lights flickered once more, and FRED disappeared! Rhyno then left and we had our opening bout: 2023 Women’s Premier Athlete, Liv Morgan taking on the former Women’s Ascendant Champion, Emma. This battle was a decent way to kick off the show, but Liv Morgan took the victory after brutally hitting an unnecessary ObLIVion onto Emma from the apron to the floor below. Liv then dragged her victim into the ring and pinned her.

After the match, Liv revealed that she was utilizing her privilege as the Premier Athlete to declare herself Immune, thusly filling the vacancy for the Women’s Immunity Title! Shane McMahon brought her title to her only for the new champion to kick him in the balls and leave smiling and giggling with the gold!

In the hallway, Alexa Bliss was walking when she suddenly stopped and started contorting again as the lights flickered. She fell down and then emerged in a more sinister outfit than before. Alexa grinned and sighed out of relief as she left. Nikki Cross then emerged from out of view, revealing that she had seen the whole thing as she stood in shock.

Shane McMahon was tending to his manhood when The Young Bucks angrily confronted him about FTR screwing them over. Shane said he has more important things to deal with right now and insisted that he will get back to them later. The Bucks were not pleased with this, especially as FTR walked up laughing at their problems. Dawson and Wilder suggested that the Bucks have to get through them first, but Nick Jackson reminded them that that already happened. FTR asserted that it was a fluke and the Bucks angrily left the scene while FTR continued to mock them.

Finn Balor was seen pacing back and forth in his locker room when Karrion Kross snuck into the room, said “tick tock” and attacked Finn! Karrion suggested that this was only beginning as he left Balor beaten down!

In the next match, we see The Brothers Metal – former EWA Tag Champions – make their return to an Mmouse Enterprises ring as they took on YMCA! This was a si-saw and fast paced brawl which saw Metalhead hit an Acid Drop on Mr. Slave (T. Page), permitting Heavymetal to secure the pinfall!! The two of them then celebrated as we cut to a commercial.

Mickey is then seen walking through the hallway when an irritated Randy Orton catches him off guard. Orton chides Mickey for remarking that Orton hadn’t proved himself. Mickey responded by pointing out that Dragonfly is a worthwhile holder of the big gold beautiful title and that Orton’s only claim to fame was being the first ever EWA Champion and beating Dragonfly, once. Orton retorted that Mickey went through a lot of trouble getting him in a major trade, and Mickey claimed that it didn’t mean Orton was worthy, saying that the burden was Orton’s to “earn it”. Orton was expressing his frustration as Mickey left only to be interrupted by Seth Rollins. Seth asserted that he was more deserving than Orton and Orton wasn’t having it. Seth suggested that they should have an encounter to settle this, and Orton indicated that he was more than willing to have that match as Seth walked away laughing to himself about the prospect of a match!

Lana was standing by with Stacy Keibler who was remarking on why her clients – the Women’s Tag Champions, The Agency – were the best in the world when she was cut off by Ruby Riott. Ruby noted that the Agency hadn’t yet crossed paths with her and Sarah Logan. Keibler suggested that Ruby is underestimating the champions and overestimating herself and Logan. Ruby promised to take the titles and left Keibler behind.

Shane was seen leaving the building and talking aloud about seeing a doctor when Lance Archer prepared to enter. Shane stopped Archer, insisting that he not wreak havoc tonight. Archer picked him up, daring Shane to stop him, but let Shane down when Shane reminded him who was boss. Shane pleaded, saying that we need peace for a while, and asked that Lance help keep it by not going nuts tonight. Lance picked Shane up again, daring Shane to do something about it and mocking the idea that anyone will fire him after he had been drafted, Shane demanded to be let down and Lance obliged, dropping Shane on his back as he laughed and entered the arena!

In the Main Event, the Immunity Champion Shawn Spears put his title on the line in an open challenge, which was answered by the returning Wade Barrett! Wade and Shawn tore the house down until Spears hit a C4 and secured the pinfall victory to retain!

As the show concluded, Shawn Spears held his title up high in celebration!

HCW INSANITY – 7/5/23

The show kicked off with the pyro and music, and then Ted Brown’s music hit as he came down to the ring. The Acting HCW President then revealed that he has a new business partner in the investment in HCW’s future…Scott Nash! The crowd erupted as the former HCW Champion and retired legend Nash made his way to the ring and embraced Brown. Brown then stated that he will reveal the details of their arrangement soon enough as he welcomed everyone to the show!

The opening bout featured HCW newcomer Adam Rose against HCW legend, Petey Williams in a quick-paced bout. In the end, though, Rose fell short as Williams hit the Canadian Destroyer and secured the three count fall for the win!

In the back, Hulk is walking through when he is suddenly GORED by Rhyno! Rhyno tells Hulk to stay out of his business as he leaves him laid out!

In the Main Event for the Undisputed Championship of the World, Dragonfly defends his title in an open challenge match against…AMAZON! The first woman to become a world champion who was forced to retire from PWI 9 days ago became the first woman to enter an HCW ring! The crowd was on fire as Amazon gave Dragonfly the fight of her life, they twice went through tables and threw everything they could at each other. After a few close calls, Dragonfly secured the victory and barely escaped with his life following a Dragon Twist Driver and pinfall!

As the show concluded, Dragonfly grasped onto his title for dear life while the official tended to the HCW history-making newcomer!

PWI LIVE – 7/10/23

The show kicked off with the usual, but this time the introduction was cut off by Dragonfly’s music! The Undisputed Champion made his way to the ring and mocked the crowd to start. He revealed that he is here today because in 5 days (this Saturday), he celebrates “300 Days” as the Champion! The crowd erupted in boos, but their anger soon turned to joy when “I hear voices in my head!” pierced through the chorus of rage! Randy Orton locked eyes with Dragonfly for the first time since their match at Starrcade. Orton retorted that Dragonfly wouldn’t be celebrating Saturday if it weren’t for Mickey screwing him over. Dragonfly insisted that the title is on the right person, talking down to Orton for coming from EWA and AEW. Orton said that regardless of what anyone thinks about his former bosses, he dominated there and will soon do the same here! Dragonfly scoffed, saying that Orton will never get a shot again, and Orton responded once more saying that it is only a matter of “when”.

Dragonfly glared at the Viper as he walked away and soon followed suit, allowing for the opening bout between Granddaddy Duxen and the debuting Pac to get started. This match was a great showing for Pac, but Duxen’s experience was too much to overcome as Duxen survived a possible purge after a pinfall victory!

Shane McMahon is waiting for someone when he sees Jackie Mouse exiting a room. Shane demands to know where Jackie’s been, where Blaster is, and where Catherine is, but Jackie stays silent. Shane grows frustrated with Jackie, but she still doesn’t answer and instead leaves Shane alone with his thoughts!

Roderick Strong is arguing with Adam Cole about their future as a tag team. Cole is ready to move on if they don’t capture the tag gold, but Strong is insistent that they were supposed to be in this forever. Cole says that he is a “champion” and can’t continue to not have gold. Beer Money Inc. comes up, finding this all amusing. Bobby Roode and James Storm suggest that they are ready to pick up the pieces and that they know what it’s like to be real champions. Cole mocks such, noting that he and Strong were among the longest reigning champions of this era. Roode isn’t impressed and says that they will be watching as they leave the Undisputed Era in the dust.

Aiden English is growing irritated with sitting in what appears to be the loading dock of the building with a table. He stops an official and asks if he can either have a proper locker room or a more visible spot to solicit autographs. The official says that this is above his pay grade and can’t help. Aiden doubles down, remarking that he has been tortured his whole career and life. The official then mocks him as the “PWI Hall of Famer” and then leaves with English very enraged. He continues to rant until Lance Archer chucks him through a table! Ted Dibiase then approaches Lance, saying that he likes his style and that he would like Lance to consider joining the team that he is building. Dibiase promises Archer riches if he says “yes”, and Archer says he will think about it. After the two depart, Jesse Hash walks in the frame, coughing, and mocking English for his “tough break”!

In the next match, the 3rd Ranked Premier Athlete Karrion Kross takes on the debuting Brian Cage in a great back and forth battle. Cage looks poised to win, but Karrion fights back and executes his right as Premier Athlete to modify the match rules to a Finisher to Finish match wherein the person to hit their finisher first wins. Cage still regains control and is about to win until Tessa Blanchard pops up from under the ring and distracts the official as Karrion reverses and hits the Doomsday Plex to get the victory! Karrion and Tessa exit the ring to celebrate, but then Tessa is pulled underneath the ring! Karrion freaks out, looking for her when Finn Balor pops up on the other side and hits Karrion Kross with his fierce dropkick and then the Coup De Gras! Finn walks backwards up the ramp as Karrion is in pain while we cut to break!

Lawrence Mason is standing by to give us some updates regarding upcoming changes. First, he announces that a decision has been made regarding the new title for the women to emerge from the coming unification between the Women’s Premier Tournament and then Women’s Immunity Title, as it will be called the “Women’s International Championship”. Moreover, he reveals that a referee has been chosen from the Danger Zone (to debut next week) and that the Danger Zone will be phased out as of January 1st, 2024 with a referee being chosen in October and nine officials decided at the end of the year following a final Danger Zone Battle Royal! Lawrence is then about to send us somewhere else when AJ Lee walks into frame. She asks if he wants to talk to her and he says that he will despite not planning for it beforehand. She expresses her nervous excitement under the pressure as PWI’s number one draft pick. He then shoos her away saying that he has things to do as we move on.

Heavymetal is ecstatic about the chance he and Metalhead have to become champions again. Metalhead is happy for his brother and offers to get them something to drink as Heavymetal continues to show his joy.

Shayna Baszler is seen waiting by a door, preparing to pounce on someone when Thunderosa walks up to her and asks what she is waiting for, startling the Queen of Spades. Shayna says she is waiting for Liv Morgan, who will “pay” for smarting off to her. Thunderosa then told Shayna that she looks like something bad when Shayna tells her what she thinks of Thunderosa’s opinion as she warns her to stay away lest she get some broken ligaments. Thunderosa then backed away as Shayna returned to her stalking ways!

In the Main Event, Becky Lynch defended the Women’s Championship against the debuting and 10th Ranked Shotzi Blackheart! Shotzi gave it a hell of a shot, but Becky managed to ward off the challenge, securing a pinfall victory to retain!

Then, as Becky celebrated, we hear somewhat unfamiliar music as Charlotte Flair enters through the entrance way! Charlotte and Becky then stare each other down as a brief flash of Alexa’s face takes us to the end of the show!

HCW INSANITY – 7/12/23

The show kicks off with Tom Banks and I informing the audience that Insanity last week was the highest rated weekly show this side of Mmouse Enterprises in over a year and the highest rated HCW show ever!

The opening bout between Adam Rose and The Aggressor unfolds and it displays more of the talents of Rose, but those talents remain insufficient to secure the victory as Aggressor nails his Aggressive Slam and gets the victory!

Rose is seen after the break walking in the hall as he prepares to leave, but his exit is interrupted by the “Macho Man” Jay Lethal. The two of them argue a bit about whether Lethal is “The Macho Man” until Lethal tells Rose that he approached him to extend an offer as a “pick-me-up”. Lethal offers that if Rose beats him in an exhibition match next week then he will award Rose with a rematch for the Extreme Title. Rose has his doubts about winning, given his luck as of late, but he chooses to accept…saying that he will see Lethal in a week!

We are preparing for our Main Event when suddenly Amazon graces us with her presence! Amazon notes that she has always taken pride in being a history-maker, and that she was gladly coming to HCW as the first woman to ever come here to wrestle! She remarked that she is here to retire on her terms, not PWI’s, and that she rejects the comment made by a wrestling critic that she needs more women to join her! Amazon points out that she didn’t need more women by her side when she became the first ever woman to be World Champion and that she certainly won’t need the allies now!

Then came the Main Event pitting The Hulk against Rhyno! This PPV-caliber bout was going off and featuring some crazy moments. Rhyno eventually hit his GORE and set up for what was to likely be a Shooting Star Press when…the lights went out! Seconds later…“You’re all going to die down here!” The crowd erupted as the lights flickered and within moments, the monster FRED appeared!

Rhyno managed to get out of the ring before FRED arrived, but FRED was not alone in the ring! Hulk stood up behind FRED and the two monsters glared and snarled at each other in the ring for the first time in 16 years! Then, as they clashed, the lights went out, and the show came to an end!

THE TRIBUTE SHOW – 7/21/23

The show began with a touching tribute to the fallen loved one, who passed away a week ago. After the ten bell salute, the first match between Britt Baker and Thunderosa begins. After a hard fought battle, Thunderosa surprised Baker with a roll-up victory reversing the Lockjaw!

Jackie Mouse then interrupted Chairman Mickey Mouse from bitching to himself about Ted Brown. Jackie tells her grandfather that “it’s handled” to which Mickey expresses his joy hearing this news. Mickey then excuses himself to go handle something, leaving Jackie behind. Jackie takes it all in, being in the lair by herself, as she even takes a seat in the chair promised to her by Mickey!

The Riott Squad then promise Lana that they are prepared to seize control over the Women’s Tag Division!

Damien Sandow surprises Jeff Hardy by picking up a victory over him!

Mickey catches up with the Acting HCW President, Ted Brown. Mickey demands answers for Brown feeling emboldened to steal his talent and for whatever it is that is going on with Scott Nash. Ted assured Mickey that answers are coming…this Wednesday! Mickey was incensed by this, proclaiming that this is far from over!!

Alexa Bliss appeared to be whimpering in her lair when Nikki Cross came in and asked “what’s wrong?” This evoked an evil giggle and then cackle that went on until we cut the feed following Nikki slowly backing out of the room.

Jade Cargill shocked everyone by decimating and flawlessly defeating Paige within a handful of minutes!!

Shane McMahon called FTR and the Young Bucks to wait for him outside of his office. The two teams were not pleased to find one another, though (Bucks were there first, and then FTR emerged late), as they were taunting each other for another showdown. Shane then arrived and told them that they would face off in ten days at the last PWI Live of the month!

We then cut to a chaotic scene wherein FRED, Hulk, and Rhyno had apparently created carnage with a number of HCW and PWI stars laid out all over the place and a plethora of HCW and PWI officials trying to calm the situation down!

In the promised Exhibition Match, Adam Rose pulled off an upset victory over the HCW Extreme Champion, Jay Lethal!

One half of the Tag Team Champions, Teo, is seen working out when Metalhead enters the room. Metalhead stares at Teo until he gets up and turns around. Teo finds it funny that Metalhead is chasing his own shadow (by seeing what he used to be in Teo) after years of Teo being accused of chasing Metalhead’s. Metalhead scoffs, saying that he remembers when Teo was some “snot nosed brat”, but Teo puts him down, again, saying that Metalhead remains a “fossil” 20 years after they first met. Metalhead promises to take the tag gold, but Teo doubts it, saying it will be the easiest title defense yet with Metalhead being in his own head. Teo then encouraged the irritated Metalhead (who promised that Teo will regret his words) to leave.

We are then treated to a package which promises the impending arrival of Mystico!

In the main event of the evening, Randy Orton defeated Matt Cardona in a great final match for the tribute show!

PWI LIVE – 7/24/23

As the show gets underway, Lawrence Mason is standing by waiting to find out some information as Jackie Mouse walks by. Mason stops her to ask what she meant by “it’s handled”, but Jackie refused to answer leading us to the opening video package and pyro.

The opening bout featured Mike O’Malley losing to a determined and fierce Lance Archer!

Becky and Liv are seen fighting in the back, in a si-saw battle until the officials forcefully pull them apart. Becky promises more beatdowns to come, and Liv welcomes such!

We then see footage of Shane McMahon knocking on a door as a new “coming soon” video displays for Mystico!

Hikaru Shida then puts up a valiant effort against Nikki Cross, but loses via pinfall!

Granddaddy Duxen is bragging to an annoyed Aiden English about his recent success. English insists on Duxen getting to his point and leaving, because Aiden is an important person waiting to sign autographs for fans. Duxen mocks this and steals English’s guest chair. English gets up and rants about not getting respect until Mark Henry comes in and slams him through the table! Henry then snarls as he looks in the direction that Duxen walked!

Finn Balor is leaving and stops to look around, saying that he could have sworn that someone was behind him. When he leaves, though, Scarlett emerges from behind the door, cackling and saying “Tick Tock”!

Randy Orton is enraged and looking for Mickey, pounding on what we presume is the Chairman’s door when Seth Rollins opens and joins Orton. Orton is dismayed that Seth was seemingly in the boss’s office, but Seth says that Orton needs to be concerned with him, not Mickey. Seth says that Orton needs to go through him before he gets to Mickey, and Orton says that won’t be a problem. Orton then leaves as Seth laughs it up.

In the Main Event, The Attraction retain their Tag Titles over the Undisputed Era after Adam Cole accidentally delivered a Last Shot to Roderick Strong instead of Attitude! With the champions celebrating and Strong out cold, Cole looks up from the ramp at the winners and then notices Beer Money Inc. mocking his loss from the stage!

It is with that image that the show draws to a conclusion!

HCW INSANITY – 7/26/23

The show kicked off with an impressive bout wherein Damien Sandow managed to pull off the upset victory over Trevor Murdoch!

The Acting President of HCW Ted Brown then came out after the break and made a few announcements: 1. that Rhyno, Hulk, and FRED will face off in a triple threat match next week! 2. that Nash is now the Co-Acting HCW President after having sold his rights to all but one dollar of the Mouse Family Inheritance to Brown BEFORE the fateful match at Motivation X! Brown revealed that since he now possesses the right to Nash’s inheritance, he will continue to pursue the lawsuit with Mickey!

In the Main Event match for the Extreme Championship, the bloody back and forth battle saw Adam Rose defeat Champion Jay Lethal to become the new champion!

The show comes to a great conclusion amidst the celebration!

PWI v. HCW – 7/31/23

The joint show special kicked off with music and pyro, but it was interrupted by the sound of Mickey’s music again! Mickey came down and expressed how Motivation X left him feeling confident about being done with his troubles until Ted Brown revealed the details of his arrangement with Scott Nash! Mickey then declared that the days of cross-promotion engagement by members of both rosters are over! He issued an ultimatum for everyone in the roster: choose a side between PWI and HCW by January 1st or be fired from PWI!

The first match then commenced between Extreme Champion Adam Rose and Damien Sandow for the Extreme Title. The bout was incredibly bloody, but Rose managed to retain despite the difficulty!

Jackie Mouse then caught up with Mickey in the hallway, telling him that she backs his ultimatum fully! Mickey thanked her and praised her as being a better heir to his throne that his own daughter, and by reiterating that his ultimatum will help root out the scum that has plagued PWI! He then invited her to join him as they set out to put their plans together!

Members of the HCW Locker Room were beside themselves. Jeff Hardy was being grilled by fellow members of the locker room for still straddling both sides of the fence. This grilling came to an end, though, when Ted Brown walked in and told everyone to calm down and agreed with Timothy Thatcher that Jeff just needed more time to officially make his decision. Ted warned against waiting too long, as did John Cena, who told Hardy that he needed to make a decision quickly to regain the trust of the locker room!

In an incredible tag match which featured the interference of Immunity Champion Shawn Spears on behalf of FTR, The Young Bucks defeated the 2nd ranked FTR!

The Brothers Metal were contemplating the opportunity afoot for them when they were interrupted by the Tag Champions, Teo and Attitude. Teo tried to express his respect for his soon-to-be opponents as Metalhead expressed his distrust in Teo, and Attitude was less respectful. Metalhead ranted about paving the way for The Attraction, and as the heat was turning up, Shane McMahon entered the picture and officially set the Tag Title Match for next week! After he left the scene, Metalhead promised that they would be winning next week as the champions were left behind to think about it!

Shayna Baszler caught up with Thunderosa walking. Shayna chided Thunderosa for her recent success, saying that Thunderosa was doing it in Shayna’s ring without her in it. Thunderosa responded, saying that she will happily put Shayna in her place when the chance emerges. The two then parted as Shayna scowled at her enemy!

Charlotte Flair then joined Lawrence Mason and recounted her history with Becky Lynch, saying that Lynch and everyone else are just placeholders warming up her championship! Flair promised that everyone will soon recognize her as the rightful “Queen” of the industry!

The 9th Ranked and debuting AJ Lee then forced Natalya Neidhart to submit to the Black Widow after an impressive bout!

Another patch of HCW stars were seen arguing about the ultimatum, as Matt Morgan and Jay Lethal contemplated going to PWI. Blade and Stan Hart argued with each other and then with the thought of anyone going to PWI. This is when Amazon entered the room and reminded everyone of her history in Mmouse Enterprises and how Mickey tried repeatedly to put her away. She warned against jumping ship as she left everyone in the room!

We then see another vignette with a series of chants for the Krusader-Dragonfly dynasty, finishing off with a faint and then louder “Mystico” chant as the man emerged and we saw “COMING SOON” once again!

After a hellacious triple threat match, Rhyno snuck out with a victory over FRED and the Hulk when he GORED FRED from the top rope while FRED was holding Hulk for a Plummet to Hell! Rhyno dragged Hulk in and pinned him soon after!

The Women’s Tag Team Champions, The Agency, stopped the Riott Squad while they were walking through the hallway. Sharon Carter and Mockingbird mocked their soon-to-be opponents for thinking that they will run the division. Ruby even bet her and Logan’s careers on it, to which Carter laughed and said she can’t wait to see them weep after they lose! Logan seemed less sure after the champs left, but Ruby remained steadfast in her position.

Petey Williams was then seen getting cornered by Trevor Murdoch, Brutal, and Gangrel for not having officially chosen a side yet. Scott Nash stopped them, though, demanding that everyone get on the same page and stop letting Mickey get in their heads. He reminded them that he has known Mickey closely for decades and that he knows how to take him down and that he has bestowed his leverage to the HCW so they can finally silence Mickey! After he left, Petey slowly left as well, with the locker room staring him down!

In the Main Event, Dragonfly successfully defended his Undisputed Championship against the returning Kurt Angle (with Jason Jordan at ringside) in an amazing back and forth battle!

As the show concluded and Kurt lay in the center of the ring, Jordan stared down the victorious Dragonfly!

PWI LIVE – 8/7/23

The show kicks off with what appears to be the Firefly Funhouse, except that it is Alexa Bliss occupying it. She indicates that she has no idea what to do without her twisted mentor. Then again, she suggests that she will be turning the “funhouse” into a “playground”. After praising Bray for his contributions, Alexa says she can’t wait to “play” with us!

After the video package, we see the 4th ranked Finn Balor defeat newcomer Hurricane Helms.

Liv Morgan promises to Lawrence Mason that she will take Becky’s title and force her into retirement!

Mickey is in his lair doing his usual monologue when Seth Rollins enters the room. After being startled initially and confirming that Seth wasn’t eavesdropping. Mickey promises “good things” for Seth, recognizing that Seth may actually be the bright standard bearer for the industry that he has sought after for all of these years. Seth acknowledges his appreciation for the boss and then heads out.

The Women’s Tag Team Champions, The Agency were caught in the middle of a scuffle with their upcoming challengers, Riott Squad, until officials rushed in to separate the teams!

2nd ranked Beer Money Inc. scored an impressive victory over 3rd ranked Super Luchadores!

Mickey saw Jackie walking in the hallway, but her demeanor was significantly different compared to the last time he saw her. She wasn’t confident or making eye contact. Instead, she was evasive, leading her to take off and leaving Mickey wondering if he did something wrong.

Adam Cole was very upset, Roderick was as well, but he was trying to calm Adam down. Cole said he was serious when he noted that he is a champion and that he needs to have a title. Calling Strong “Roderick” instead of “Roddy” led his partner to be concerned, as Adam took off in a fury!

That sends us back to ringside where the returning Jesse Hash welcomes us the return of “4:20”! He brags about defeating CM Punk at Motivation and running him out of town, led a “Fuck You Punk” chant, and then welcomed his guest: Lance Archer! Archer didn’t come out with his music, though, which led Hash to wonder if he was going to ghost the show, but Archer emerged from the crowd and destroyed Hash and his couch! Archer left the carnage behind as he prepared for the main event!

In the Main Event battle for the Tag Team Championships, The Attraction successfully defended in a brawl over the 1st ranked Brothers Metal despite Metalhead and Heavymetal’s momentum (which ended when Heavymetal accidentally hit Metalhead, paving the way for the loss)!

As the show concluded and the champs celebrated, Metalhead looked on in disappointment as Heavymetal recovered in the ring!

HCW INSANITY – 8/11/23

The Acting President of HCW addressed the delay of Insanity after the locker room chaos this past Wednesday (as caused by Mickey’s ultimatum). Brown warned that Mickey is risking the truce which exists between HCW and PWI, saying “two can play at that game”.

In the opening bout (both matches involved stars who were part of Wednesday’s chaos), Jeff Hardy was injured by a devastating Canadian Destroyer by Sabu to the outside, forcing a match stoppage!

In the Main Event match, Petey Williams put up a hell of a fight against the Scarecrow, but ultimately fell short by pinfall after the Black Rain!

The show came to a close as Scarecrow celebrated.

PWI LIVE – 8/28/23

The show opened with Chairman Mouse staring into the camera. He explained the recent absence on the outbreak of violence between PWI and HCW at each other’s respective headquarters over the past two weeks. He exclaimed that there is a “state of war” and that HCW will soon fall in this path towards “Armageddon”!

Interrupting the pyro was the opening to Jesse Hash’s music for the return of 4:20! Hash reminisced about getting high while watching the PWI and HCW fight each other, and promised that Lance Archer will not get the same passive treatment! Hash pledged to defeat Archer and to smoke a blunt over his unconscious body!

In the opening bout, Tomasso Ciampa successfully defended his Ascendant Title in a hard-fought battle against Kurgan!

We see Jackie meet Mickey in the hallway, much to his surprise. He inquires as to where she has been, why she hasn’t answered his calls, and why she has been acting weird since they last saw each other. She quietly explained that something went wrong and that she has to share bad news with him. He promised not to be mad at her, and she struggled to finally get it out; “revenge is coming”. When he pressed further Jackie ran away insistent that she had to go as Mickey pleaded for her to come back!

Seconds later, Finn Balor is walking around when a familiar evil laugh is heard and accompanied by the lights flickering. Finn is confused by this and looks around when he is attacked viciously by Karrion Kross! Karrion tells him that this will be over “soon” and then leaves him beaten down!

Shane McMahon is watching TV when Randy Orton comes in and interrupts him. He says that he is tired of waiting and that to get to Mickey he has to get through Seth Rollins first! He then demands a match with Rollins, and Shane agrees, setting the match for September 11th! Orton leaves happy, but when Shane thinks he can rest again he is proven wrong by the Riott Squad who barge in and demand an opportunity. Shane doesn’t get a chance to answer before the Tag Team Champions The Agency waltz in and mock the plea. Shane says that he will oblige and give the Riott Squad a chance to earn a title shot next week, with The Agency barred from the arena for the whole night! Sharon Carter tells Ruby and Sarah that they will regret it as they leave. Ruby thanks Shane for the chance and he pleads to be left alone as they do so!

In brutal fashion, the 5th Ranked Shayna Baszler forces the 4th Ranked Brie Bella to tap out after ruthlessly attacking Brie’s left arm and eventually locking on the Kirifuda Clutch! Shayna celebrates her accomplishment as we head to a break!

Ted Dibiase spots the Undisputed Champion Dragonfly in the hallway and extends another offer for him to join the upcoming Million Dollar Corporation! Dragonfly insists that he will think about it and will answer very soon, and Ted says that he thinks Dragonfly is the ideal leader to make the Corporation more profitable and dominant than any other group in history! He then says that he will be watching Mystico’s debut coming up in a few and suggests that Dragonfly do the same!

Jade Cargill is minding her own business when she is bothered by AJ Lee again! Jade makes it clear that she wants to be left alone, but Lee wants some advice. Jade then hoists her up and chucks her, providing advice for Lee to leave her alone! Lee is stunned as we cut away!

Shayna Baszler is walking through the dock room in front of a signing table when Thunderosa approaches. Shayna gets on guard and Thunderosa urges her to calm down, saying that Shayna wouldn’t be able to defeat her, especially not like why just saw with Brie Bella. Shayna dares Thunderosa to test her, and Thunderosa indicates that that chance will be sometime around the corner. She then leaves Shayna behind seething as Shayna destroys the table with the chair sitting in front of it! After Shayna leaves, Aiden English approaches in horror, sobbing and wailing about his table being destroyed!

In the Main Event – which was soon revealed to be the first of the four men’s Premier Athlete Qualifying Matches -, Granddaddy Duxen schools the debuting Mystico, but as he looks poised to defeat the talented newcomer, Mark Henry’s music suddenly plays. Duxen readies for a fight, but Mystico attacks from behind and soon hits him with a moonsault-style attack which led him to smash Duxen’s face against the mat and secure the victory!

As the show concluded, Mystico celebrated the win and he spotted Ted Dibiase on the stage, nodding in approval!

HCW INSANITY – 8/30/23

The show has a cold open with Ted Brown and Scott Nash arriving and discussing the recent violence with PWI. Nash suggests that they should calm down, but Brown notes that it is too late for that. Mickey then emerges from behind the dumpster, declaring that he has them where he wants them and demanding to know what revenge they have planned! Nash and Brown, though, soon strike fear in Mickey as Mickey realizes that they have him cornered! Mickey tries to plead with them, telling them that he is merely here to find out why his granddaughter is scared and warning them against harming her. Brown grabs him and says that Jackie is safe, but as he prepares to show why Mickey isn’t, Mickey pleads to be let down and then scurries away when Brown releases him! Nash and Brown watch as Mickey promises that they will rue this moment and rushes away in his car!

With the show officially on, Scarecrow barely eeked out a victory over a determined Jeff Hardy!

Brown and Nash were still discussing what just went down. Nash warned that with Mickey being paranoid they can’t afford to let their guard down ever again, as he will most certainly seek preemptive violence. Ted agreed and suggested that they go draw up battle plans together.

In the Main Event, Brutal was caught off guard when Jay Lethal didn’t come down to the ring for their match, instead blind sighting him with a vicious chair shot to the back of the head. After a series of additional chair strikes and a piledriver onto the chair, Lethal hit the elbow smash and secured the pinfall!

With the match over, Jay Lethal celebrated as the show came to a close!

PWI LIVE – 9/4/23

The show kicked off like last week, with a shot at Mickey’s lair. Only, Mickey wasn’t in his throne. Instead he was talking off camera, about this was never going to be easy. Coming into frame, Mickey noted that he has made numerous mistakes in the past; chief among them being him letting HCW survive the consequences of Project Extermination at USWA Armageddon 3 on September 1st, 2002. He noted that he didn’t have what it took at the time to “do what needs to be done.” He highlighted how Armageddon 3 was seemingly the end for him in professional wrestling until Jeff Murrey swindled him into the UWA that fall.

Chairman Mickey then noted how Murrey had a press release on September 2nd of this year, claiming that PWI was “dying”. Mickey responded by saying that “professional wrestling is dying” and that he will now “do what needs to be done” by vanquishing the entire industry next year at “Armageddon 4”!

After the intro pyro and video package, the 1st ranked Riott Squad earn a hard fought victory over the 2nd ranked IIconics to secure their title shot at the Bloodbath Anniversary Special!

Roderick Strong is begging Adam Cole to hear him out on figuring out their path forward. Cole cites Mickey’s pledge to kill the industry as his reasoning for going it alone. He tells Strong to find his own path as he himself pursues the world title!

Ted Dibiase is prepping Lance Archer for his match next week. Archer promises to go through everyone on his path to gold, but Dibiase tells him to stay focused on defeating Hash next week first, to which Lance agrees!

The twisted 1st ranked Alexa Bliss defeated the debuting Kris Statlander after nailing a vicious surprise Super Sister Abigail and inverted Twisted Bliss!

An excited Nikki Cross meets Alexa in the hallways to congratulate her, but Alexa grins in an evil way at Nikki, making her uncomfortable. Then, after thanking Cross, Alexa cackles her way out of frame, leaving Cross disturbed!

Heavymetal is pacing back and forth in the locker room, talking openly about waiting on his brother Metalhead. He then hears a knock on the door, answers it and is cracked over the head with a steel chair! Metalhead then enters the room, kneels down and tells his brother that he regrets it coming to this, but he needs to become champion again. He then leaves his brother laid out as he exits the room after a long pause.

In the main event, Becky Lynch successfully defends her Women’s Championship after a hellacious back and forth battle with the 2nd Ranked Nikki Bella!

Following Becky’s victory, as she celebrated, the Immunity Champion Liv Morgan walked out onto the stage to watch her future opponent with the announcers sending us off!

However, the show doesn’t end right away, because moments later Catherine Mouse arrives and enters the building as the show finally concludes!

HCW INSANITY – 9/6/23

After the show kicks off with the pyro, we see what looks to be a great opening bout between Chris Benoit and Trevor Murdoch. However, before we could see a winner, we see a series of interferences by PWI talent. HCW fills in the ring as well to stifle the invasion, but the damage is done. The match is forced to end and we go into our commercial break!

When we return, Acting HCW President, Ted Brown is furious, demanding answers from Official Bushwacker as to what happened. The official has no answers, though, and Brown demands that security get improved to prevent any further incursions in the ring!

Then, we are set to have our Main Event, with Damien Sandow taking on Stan Hart, but another invasion with even more PWI stars unfolds. HCW talent again answers the call, but they are tragically overwhelmed by the PWI invaders who used a more effective strategy in this round.

With the chaos raging and PWI taking the victory in this battle, the show comes to an end!

PWI LIVE – 9/11/23

The show began with Mickey arriving at the arena only to be stopped by Scott Nash. Nash told Mickey that he will regret everything that he is doing and that he can’t possibly get Brown to agree to go along with something to end both companies. Mickey retorted (after asserting that Brown, like him before, was using Nash) that he would offer Brown something that he can’t refuse.

After the intro package, our pyro is interrupted by Aiden English! English comes out and complains about his abusive treatment by management. He notes that he was drafted and that it makes no sense for the company to not use the greatest star in the industry. He whined about being forced to have a signature table present with him every time he is on PWI television for him to beg people to take his autograph! He demanded that someone come face him now, and the music he heard frightened him as it was Brock Lesnar’s music! The crowd was in shock that Lesnar would jump from AEW back to PWI to face English, however, through the entrance way it wasn’t Brock, but The CROCK!

Despite Lesnar not being here, the crowd was ecstatic that the Crock was making his first appearance in over a year! The Crock was adorned in Vader’s old robe and had The Rock’s shirt around his pelvis to simulate MMA shorts as he bounced his way up to and stumbled into the ring! English chided Crock for interrupting him, but Crock hit him with a Crock Bottom and then hit an F5 through the table!! Crock gleefully revealed that he will now be known as Crock Heffner and that he just hit English with the D2.5! The crowd cheered as we paved the way for the opening bout!

In a quick but hard fought match, the 2nd Ranked Jade Cargill defeated the 5th Ranked Paige!

Becky Lynch told Mason that her title reign is far from over, and that she will take on all comers from the Women’s locker room here and beyond. She stated that she is “The Man” of this division, and that if anyone “wants to be the man, they have to beat The Man!”

Roderick Strong was minding his own business when he was suddenly attacked by Beer Money Inc.! Roode and Storm warned that this is what Strong gets for walking around alone!

Nikki Cross is suddenly stopped by the lights changing colors and an eerie laugh from the distance. Nikki pleads with her stalker as she leaves the scene, soon followed by Alexa, who expresses that this is “fun”.

In a classic battle in its own right, Krusader defeated the 8th Ranked Matt Jackson!

Mickey is bragging to himself about his plan and how he believes that no one can stop him until his granddaughter Jackie enters the room, looking scared. Mickey insists on knowing what’s wrong, and all Jackie could muster was an apology and a warning that “he is coming”. That’s when Blaster burst into the room and attacked Mickey as Jackie fled! Mickey was decimated by Blaster, who warned that he will teach Mickey a lesson for corrupting Jackie!

Waiting in the hallway for Krusader was Ted Dibiase. He shook Krusader’s hand and congratulated him on his win. After reminiscing about growing up in the industry together, Dibiase praised Krusader for being a unique standard-bearer, and asked him to join the Million Dollar Corporation. Krusader said he will think about it, and Ted invited him to attend Dragonfly’s One Year Anniversary for the World Title reign next week, provided that Dragonfly retains this Wednesday. Krusader said he will think about that too.

Shane McMahon was getting ready to watch the Main Event when Thunderosa came in his suite, asking to speak with him. She made it clear that she wanted Shayna Baszler in the ring and while Shane was trying to explain the limited time slots for each show, Shayna burst in and attacked Thunderosa! Shane separated them and declared that they will get their match in two weeks!

In the hellacious Main Event between 4th Ranked Seth Rollins and 9th Ranked Randy Orton, the match was highly competitive, but Seth earned the victory after shattering Randy’s right arm with the Stomp! After winning, Seth didn’t stop there, opting to further injure the arm, topping it off with a Pillmanizer stomp with the aid of the steps placed in the ring!

The show concluded with Seth standing atop the steps in the ring with his hands raised high as Randy favored his right arm in the corner!

HCW INSANITY – 9/13/23

The show kicked off with what was supposed to be a tag match pitting Stan Hart and Chris Benoit against Trevor Murdoch and Damien Sandow, but the PWI invaded again before Sandow could come out and join the other three. Sandow did briefly come out, though, during the attack and then promptly left in disgust. Six PWI thugs devastated the three HCW stars and left us with another no contest!

Acting HCW President Ted Brown told Thomas that he was drawing a line in the sand for all HCW talent; declaring that everyone needed to choose a side “soon” so as to reinforce the security. He then stated that it will take a lot for Mickey to get Ted to agree to his terms, as he is not prepared to let Mickey destroy everything that the Browns have built!

In the Open Challenge Undisputed Title Match Main Event, Dragonfly’s pursuit of a challenger was answered by Sabu! This back and forth insane battle had a few close calls and “holy shit” moments, but Dragonfly still managed to secure the victory and pave the way for his celebration this coming Monday!

The show concluded with the carnage of the Main Event and Dragonfly sitting on the stage, relieved, with his title!

THE SHANE MURPHY FAREWELL SHOW – 9/18/23

After the somber opening indicating that this show was dedicated to the fallen former wrestling promoter, we fade into seeing Ted Brown and Mickey Mouse arriving. They discuss how this is a moment to come together to honor Shane’s memory. Ted, however warns Mickey that this show of unity in commemoration in no way signals the end of their hostilities. Brown warns that Mickey has started a war that he can’t win. Mickey retorts that he will do to HCW and the industry what Shane did to WCW back in 2000. Mickey then enters the building as Ted seethes and we fade to ringside.

Looking at ringside, the co-promotional commentary team welcomes us and Ric Venom takes the lead. Venom talks about how he was close to Shane and had become friends with him during the aforementioned hostile takeover of WCW. He recalled how Shane had partnered again and became best friends with Vinnie Mouse when they co-founded the EWF. Together, they also led the developmental-NWA, introduced the world to the Masked Phenom and the Duct Tape Men, and even played a part in Vinnie’s infamous tyrannical reign over EWF’s Women’s Division. Shane will be missed, and this is for him!

The opening bout saw the 4th ranked Finn Balor defeat the 2nd ranked Karrion Kross in a great bout!

Krusader interrupted Mystico’s workout, to discuss the 365 Day Celebration tonight as well as Ted Dibiase. Krusader doesn’t trust Dibiase and neither does Mystico, but they both agree to attend the ceremony to see what he has planned.

The Riott Squad is discussing how they plan to make an indelible mark on the Women’s Tag Division by being the best tag champions ever, but Stacy Keibler laughs this off, suggesting that they aren’t prepared for the Agency; the longest reigning Women’s Tag Champions, ever! Ruby and Sarah indicate that they will prove her wrong and Stacy welcomes that bet!

Adam Cole is furious, slamming a steel chair about and demanding that Beer Money Inc. face him, but he is attacked by Beer Money Inc. as he lets his guard down! Storm and Roode leave Cole beaten senseless as a lesson about how Roderick Strong felt when Cole left him to fall alone!

PWI’s Kurt Angle and Jason Jordan pull off an impressive victory over HCW’s Stan Hart and Chris Benoit!

John Cena confronts Rhyno, calling him out for abandoning HCW, the company that “made him”. Rhyno disputes that anyone but himself made him. Cena scoffs and tells Rhyno that he will just take the mantle of leading HCW to victory. Rhyno shakes his head, saying that HCW has become little more than a shell of itself. The tension is high between them as they separate!

Nikki Cross is caught off guard by mindgames and stalking by Alexa Bliss. Nikki happens to catch Alexa stalking her as Alexa giggles and runs away. Nikki is very disturbed by all of this, begging Alexa to stop!

Scott Nash is trying to reassure Ted Brown, saying that everything will be fine. Ted claims that Mickey has manipulated both rosters and that he needs a game-changer to retake the advantage over Mickey. He demands that Nash share everything he knows about Mickey’s weaknesses. Nash says that he will and they leave to get planning!

In what turns out to be a Premier Athlete Tournament Roulette Qualifying Match, Lance Archer brutally defeats the 8th ranked Jesse Hash despite Jesse’s best efforts!

Aiden English is trying to solicit people to purchase his autobiography “Triump: The Story About How A Hall Of Famer Overcame Brock Lesnar” when Jade Cargill is annoyed by him. However, as she is about to tell English off, AJ Lee approaches and requests a match with Jade. Jade laughs at this, mocking Lee and saying that she would rather get a signature from English and buy his book. English scoffs at this, but is ignored as Lee again insists. Jade agrees, saying it will be Lee’s funeral. Lee leaves, excited as can be, and English comes up and persists in his solicitation, only to be put through his table by Jade!

Ted Dibiase is waiting outside of the HCW Locker Room as Petey Williams comes out. Williams is surprised to see Dibiase and interrogates him on his reasoning for being here. Ted tells Petey that he has been watching him a long time and wants him to join him. Petey mocks this and says he doesn’t trust Ted. Ted invites him to the ceremony tonight, Petey is appalled by this and rejects it. Ted convinces Petey to ponder the offer to join and is pleased by Petey at least being willing to consider it!

Before we can get to the next match, the Crock Show theme starts to play, but it is interrupted by the Lesnar theme as “Crock Heffner” makes way for the ring! Crock says that “The Crock” is gone, and that he has a new “Advocate”! He points to the entrance way as we hear someone take a microphone from the back: “Ladies and Gentleman! My name is Don Sparking!” Sunfire’s old iconic agent comes out to the entrance way to a thunderous ovation! Sparking calls Crock the “Living! Breathing! Often Disputed Comedic Champion of the World!! CROCK HEFFNER!!” He promises that everyone will be embarrassed by what Crock will do to Aiden English, giving him the “D…2.5!” The two then leave as PWI’s Brian Cage completely destroys HCW’s Trevor Murdoch in their short bout!

Going to the back, Lawrence Mason interviews Blaster and Catherine! They reveal that Jackie had taken them to a junkyard, had them put in a cage, and paid some unknown thug to watch them! However, Ted Brown and Scott Nash found and rescued them and now they are determined to put Jackie in her place and deal with Mickey once and for all!!

With Mickey, Krusader, Mystico in attendance, Ted Dibiase is introduced as the master of the 365 Day Celebration Ceremony! Dibiase recounts why Dragonfly is the Undisputed Champion and why many consider him to be the GOAT of the industry! He then introduces the champion and gives him the floor. Dragonfly boasts that he is the epitome of the industry and that there is no one who could hold a candle to him. That’s when he is interrupted by Metalhead!!

Dragonfly’s greatest nemesis of all time enters the ring and has a standoff with the champion. He insists that Dragonfly has never been better than him and demands a world title shot. Dragonfly laughs at this, reminding everyone that while Metalhead has been mired in tag divisions, he has been “running the world”. He stated that Metalhead is no longer the man who shocked the world and won the USWA World Title in late-1997. That he is no longer the man who dominated the UWF for two years. He says that Metalhead is now merely Dragonfly’s “bitch!”

Metalhead had heard enough, he unleashed hell, attacking everyone in sight, and putting Dragonfly through a table with the Acid Drop!! Holding the Undisputed Title high above his head, Metalhead sent a clear message to Dragonfly that this was far from over as Dragonfly looked on in anger!

After Metalhead left, Dragonfly angrily stumbled through the entrance way. Mystico and Krusader helped Dibiase back up, and he sent them after the champ. The clean-up commence and we saw our incredible main event between the debuting 5th ranked Charlotte and the 4th ranked Brie Bella! In what also turned out to be the first Women’s tournament qualifying match, Charlotte defeated Brie in sound fashion, ending the show on an amazing note in this fitting farewell to Shane Murphy!!

THE PRELUDE – 10/4/23

The show began with us seeing Jackie Mouse fleeing the building right before the opening.

The opening bout saw the 8th ranked Thunderosa defeating the 3rd ranked Shayna Baszler by a pinfall in reversing the Kirifuda Clutch!

Scott Nash was trying to calm down the Acting HCW President, Ted Brown. Brown was upset because the 10th participant for the battle royal coming up – slated to be Brutal – came up missing. Brown expressed that he was tired of this crap and Nash conveyed that they both know that Mickey and his minions are behind it. They reiterated that they have a plan and that the time has basically come to execute it!

Dragonfly was preparing for his main event match when his cousin – Krusader – caught up with him. Dragonfly was suspicious of Krusader who wanted to talk about Dibiase. Dragonfly was hesitant to join any wealthy benefactor and Krusader pointed out that he was too. Except, Krusader also noted that Dibiase has the means to help preserve their legacy by helping build up Mystico. Dragonfly expressed that he didn’t need to worry about that, especially given Mickey’s plan to end everything. Krusader noted that Dibiase can help them avoid that, and Dragonfly came around to saying that he would ponder it a little longer.

The 10-person HCW battle royal to determine the challenger for the Undisputed Title tomorrow night took place, seeing Amazon steal the show and eliminate the most participants! After she eliminated two at the same time at the very end it appeared as though she had won until Metalhead came from under the ring, attacked and eliminated her for the stolen victory! As Metalhead celebrated, Dragonfly emerged on the ramp to staredown his potential opponent for tomorrow should he retain tonight.

Shane McMahon was watching the program on TV when Granddaddy Duxen barged in and demanded a match against Mark Henry tomorrow night! After a brief pushback, Shane agreed, leading the pleased Duxen to leave him alone!

FTR and the Immunity Champion Shawn Spears were discussing Spears being absent as of late. Spears noted that his title allows him to take all the time off that he wants as he awaits his opportunity. Jade Cargill then enters and chides everyone for slacking while she represents and carries the Pinnacle! She then left as she promised to continue doing just that!

Unfortunately for the 2nd ranked Jade, the 7th ranked AJ Lee shocked her with an inside cradle pinfall to qualify for the Premier Tournament!!

Alexa Bliss was looking as devilish and possessed as ever, cackling to herself until she said that she knew someone was coming soon. Then, as Alexa grinned ear to ear, Nikki Cross came in with her head lowered in submission as Alexa welcomed her with an embrace to “play” and to “let him in”!

Thomas was being nonchalant in his interview with Sabu, openly doubting that Sabu would win the next match until Sabu knocked him out!

Then, in the interpromotional bout, Sabu and Brian Cage fought to a brutal no contest!!

Ted Dibiase caught up with Mystico, promising him the world. Mystico said he needed at least one more night to consider the offer. Dibiase then agreed, saying that everyone offered only has one more night to take this deal before the door closed forever!

Beer Money Inc. approached Shane’s office, wondering what he wanted. Shane met them at the door, saying that Mark Henry was presently in there in the middle of a serious discussion with Shane. Shane then told the team that they were in danger of suspension if they attacked the Undisputed Era any further and that they should cease being Mickey’s lackeys so as to prepare for a match against Adam Cole and Roderick Strong tomorrow night!!

In a match to determine the next challenger for the Women’s Title, the Immunity Champion Liv Morgan quickly defeated the 10th ranked Nikki Bella after a couple of swift shots to the head (the final being via an ObLIVion) with the title! Liv celebrated her victory as a warning signal to Becky Lynch!!

Blaster and Catherine interrupted Lawrence Mason to reveal that they had seized control of PWI! They announced that they had their own allies and loyalists – which is why Jackie fled earlier – and that they were set out to save the company and the industry from Mickey Mouse, issuing a warning to him and all of his minions!

Petey Williams met with Ted Dibiase. Williams expressed that he was unsure about this and Dibiase promised to help make everything right for Williams, noting how underappreciated Petey was as the first men’s Premier Athlete. He gave Petey one day to think about it!

The cameras then focused on the Chairman, Mickey Mouse. Mickey was enraged at the seizure of power by Catherine and Blaster. He conveyed that his decision to end everything was not come about easily, but begrudgingly after concluding that the industry must be destroyed to save everyone. Mickey stated that he has his own minions to counter Catherine and Blaster’s allies and loyalists, and that Armageddon WILL HAPPEN, as will the end of the industry!

In the main event, Dragonfly successfully defended his Undisputed Championship against the 3rd ranked Seth Rollins! As Dragonfly celebrated and the night (as well as the preseason) concluded, cameras caught Krusader watching and discussing the results with Ted Dibiase, who urged Krusader to help him get everyone on board!
