A few weeks ago, All Elite Wrestling quietly announced the addition of Rey Fenix to our roster. Today, I am announcing that Fenix’s longtime partner, Penta El Zero has finalized his contract with BWM Inc. Penta will be eligible to compete in AEW on May 6, as he has previous commitments in Mexico’s AAA before he heads to America.
In addition to the looming arrival of the Lucha Bros, I am also announcing that beginning tomorrow night, we will now be running live shows. The results of these shows, while important, will not be reflected on the win/loss page of our website, as those records are for televised matches only. The exception to this rule will be if a title happens to change hands; then the win/loss will be recorded.
The card for our first live event is as follows:
Rey Fenix will make his AEW debut in a one-on-one match against Kalist
Yokozuna will be in singles action against Dolph Ziggler
Bill Goldberg will take on Lance Archer
And in the main event, the AEW Tag Team Champions Proud & Powerful will compete in a non-title match against La Resistance!
