OPENING SEGMENT
“Look out, There’s a Hurricane coming through!” Fans scream to the top of their lungs as they witness something we thought we would never see…the HURRICANE! Hurricane runs down to the ring and almost flies in through the bottom and second rope, rolling into an impressive superhero pose. As Hurricane reaches for the microphone to address the audience, the lights go out! Dark ominous music plays and as the lights come back on…a horrifying, tall and imposing ZEUS is standing behind the Hurricane! ZEUS hits Hurricane on each side of his head with his metal wrist bands and lets out a terrifying scream, some type of war cry that would keep a prisoner up late at night in his cell. ZEUS stands over his fallen victim as a hushed crowd watches in disbelief.
When we come back from picture and picture of the emt’s scooping up a lifeless Hurricane, we see Mr. Murrey with Hall of Famers Jesse “the Body” Ventura and the “Enforcer” Arn Anderson standing in the executive office smiling, laughing, and reminiscing about glory days. Mr. Murrey then looks into the camera while holding a newly christened white leather strap winged eagle title and says, “This is what it is all about. For decades with the start of the WWF (Mr. Murrey motions over to iconic all black winged eagle belt) the only proof you need that Mmouse Enterprises hijacked the Wrestlemania name just like the terrorists hijacked the planes during 911. We are on the cusp of something truly special. This Friday on Smackdown, we will crown the first ever WWE World Champion in a special one night 8 man tournament! I just want to say thank you to the men that built this industry. The hall of famers next to me and men like Krusader, Jake Roberts, Splinter, Car, Ted Dibiase and Leonardo. Real men. Not men from the Underutilized Era or AssBlaster. Thank you.”
VETERAN vs ROOKIE
Matt Cardona vs Ricky Starks
Internet Championship Match
Matt Cardona has been dominating the wrestling scene for quite some time. With numerous championships and accolades to his name, he is a force to be reckoned with in the ring. However, the arrival of a young and talented, Ricky Starks, is about to shake things up.
Ricky has made a name for himself on the independent circuit and has quickly become a fan favorite. He has a unique style and is known for his high-flying moves and quick reflexes. When he signed with the WWE, many saw him as a rising star, but Matt only sees him as a threat to his legacy.
The match itself was an instant classic between two wrestlers with vastly different styles. Matt relied on his experience and brute strength, while Ricky used his agility and quickness to dodge and evade Matt’s attacks. The match went back and forth, with both wrestlers delivering punishing blows and near-falls.
In the end, and to the surprise of the WWE universe, Ricky Starks emerged victorious.
After the match, we don’t get much of a celebration as an enraged Cardona and his wife Chelsea Green attack Starks.
When we come back from commercial break we see Aiden English in the back yelling at a creative writer. English screams, “I hope your fucking happy! I was gonna debut tonight as the Weather Man, and what happened?! Stupid ass Hurricane shows up! This was my final shot to get a contract and you ruined it! You dipshit! So, what do you have to say for yourself?” The writer shyly says, “I am sorry, my mom died this morning.” The writer begins to cry as wrestlers, camera men, and onlookers stare at English with disgust.
CHAMPIONSHIP SHOWDOWN
Matt Riddle vs Cameron Grimes
European Championship Match
The scene is set in the Wells Fargo Arena, with a raucous Philly crowd. The stadium is packed with thousands of screaming fans, eagerly awaiting. The announcer’s voice echoes through the arena as he introduces the competitors for the WWE European Title match.
The first wrestler to make his way down the ramp is Matt Riddle. He enters the ring with his trademark flip flops and laid-back attitude, but underneath his easy-going exterior, Riddle is a fierce competitor.
The crowd erupts as emerging talent, Cameron Grimes, makes his entrance. The cocky strut of Grimes exudes confidence as he climbs into the ring and stares down his opponent.
The bell rings, and the match is underway. Riddle and Grimes circle each other cautiously, sizing each other up. Riddle tries to take Grimes down with his technical prowess, but Grimes is too cunning. Grimes takes control of the match, punishing Riddle with power moves and strikes.
Riddle refuses to stay down, though, and fights back with a series of kicks and submission holds. He even manages to hit Grimes with his signature Bro Derek finisher, but Grimes kicks out at two.
As the match wears on, the tension in the arena builds to a fever pitch. Riddle and Grimes exchange blows, each trying to gain the upper hand. Just when it seems like Grimes has the match won, Riddle pulls off an incredible move, catching Grimes in a surprise triangle hold.
Grimes struggles to escape, but Riddle has the hold locked in tight. The crowd is on their feet, cheering Riddle on as he puts all his strength into the hold. After what seems like an eternity, Grimes finally taps out.
The arena erupts with cheers as Riddle is declared the WWE European Champion. Riddle falls to his knees in disbelief, tears streaming down his face as he realizes how powerful this moment really is. He stands up and raises the championship belt high above his head, basking in the adoration of the fans.
As Riddle celebrates, Grimes surprisingly extends his hand, showing respect for his opponent’s hard-fought victory. The two men shake hands, and the crowd cheers even louder, showing their appreciation for the incredible match they’ve just witnessed.
Judgment Day vs Cobra Kai
Special Attraction Tag Match
This is not a publicity stunt, it is clear that Cobra Kai is dead serious about stepping into the ring with some of the most feared competitors in the WWE, the Judgment Day.
This all began when Martin Kove appeared on Saturday Night Live and claimed that he was tougher than any wrestler in the WWE. This statement did not sit well with Damian Priest, who took to social media to challenge Kove to a match for Raw.
This match was a one sided affair, with the Judgment Day landing some devastating blows. In the end, it was the Judgment Day that emerged victorious, With Dom hitting the 619 on Zabka.
Despite the loss, the fans still remained behind Cobra Kai and gave them a standing ovation as they were able to make it to their feet. William Zabka grabbed the microphone and said, “We love each and everyone of you here and we love the WWE Universe. Remember, Cobra Kai…Never dies!!!
