Megan Mouse has confirmed to EWA.com that the company has granted releases to Big Cass, Enzo Amore, and Ricochet. All three were signed to developmental deals that have since expired, with Megan opting not to renew the contracts due to rapidly growing rosters for both the Men’s and Knockouts divisions.
Additionally, Mouse announced the signing of a new Knockout, international wrestling phenomenon Riho! Riho is a Japanese-born women’s wrestler who began her training at the age of nine years old!
Also added to the Knockouts Division is Hikaru Shida, a Japanese wrestler, model, and actress. Shida and Riho have had epic matches in Japan, and are excited to bring their rare styles to the United States and the Elite Wrestling Alliance!
Mouse also revealed the EWA has signed a new tag team, the Lucha Brothers, Rey Fenix and Pentagon Jr.! The Lucha Brothers have dominated the Mexican tag team wrestling scene, and look to continue that success in the Elite Wrestling Alliance.
Finally, Megan revealed the signing of independent wrestling daredevil, Darby Allin!
Mouse stated that with these new signings, the EWA rosters are stronger than ever, and refused to comment on Mickey’s verbal assault of her during a late-night press conference Tuesday in which he referred to her as “moronic” for releasing a talented tag team since acquired by PWI.
A spokesperson for Megan Mouse released the following statement:
“Though Megan Mouse could stoop to the level of her uncle, and even her father, she has opted to run the Elite Wrestling Alliance in her own way, and will not comment on the remarks made by Mickey. Megan stated that the Elite Wrestling Alliance, under her direction, will focus on the quality of its rosters, and not the quantity.”
Stay tuned to additional press releases during the week, including the full EWA World Heavyweight Championship tournament bracket, the full card for the premiere of Revolution, and more! Also, look out for the debut installment of Cheap Heat with Chris Hyatt, a new podcast about the world of professional wrestling.
